In the midst of the peaceful night, there is one who looks over the ponies sleeping soundly in their beds. The Princess of the Night, Luna, crosses between the realms of dreams and reality to protect her subjects from the nightmares that trouble and threaten the ponies in the world. However, that doesn’t mean she usually gets the best sleep herself in sacrifice for those ponies to rest easy.
Luna woke up groggily in her bed, always having the struggle to sleep during her sister’s day to be rested for the nights to come. She yawned as she crawled out of her bed, not noticing that her mane was a mess or that the bags under her eyes were more prominent than usual. Trotting out of her chambers, her eyes glared at the sun, slightly higher in the sky than usual.
Walking through the halls of the castle, Luna continued to yawn as ponies made their way around her. Her goal was to feel refreshed after a restless sleep so she was making her way to royal baths for a quick dip to rejuvenate herself. Unfortunately, the staff of the castle had other things in mind for the half-awake princess.
“Oh! Good day, Princess Luna!” Kibitz announced, trotting up to Luna’s side with his clipboard beside him under his magic.
“Evening, you mean,” Luna said, giving off a loud yawn as she continued to walk. Kibitz followed close beside, reviewing over the schedule of duties for Celestia.
“It does seem like you’re a bit early this evening, Princess Luna. Princess Celestia hasn’t even finished for the day yet.” He continued, checking his board again for anything he might have missed.
“I’m not on the clock yet, Kibitz. I just need a quick bath to splash my face and then I’ll do my nightly duties before my sister retreats to her chambers.” Luna explained, turning the corner towards the royal baths.
“Bath…?” Kibitz looked over his chart as his eyes widened. “Princess Luna! Princess Luna!”
Luna peered at the castle’s aide, his face starting to look all sweaty as he used a handkerchief to clean off his glasses with his magic. “What is it?”
“The Royals Baths are currently unavailable, your highness! Perhaps you should collect those lovely decorations for the time being and I’ll be sure to alert you when they are ready for your use!” Kibitz stated, wiping his brow with his hoof.
“Impossible. The Royal Baths are for the use of the Princesses only. There should be no issue in me taking a quick bath.” Luna lifted her head high as she continued to make her way down the castle halls. Kibitz pulled a pocket watch from his waistcoat, checking the time before running up to catch up to the Princess.
“Princess Luna, I must insist. The Baths are in no condition for your use right now! We have an expert team working on cleaning and polishing and-”
“Then tell them to leave. I have made up my mind and I do not have a lot of time to dawdle before nightfall!” Luna demanded, her icy glare piercing into Kibitz as he stood still, processing the instruction.
“Yes, your highness.” Kibitz bowed before running off in the opposite direction. Luna pondered the decision consider she was making her way to the baths at this very moment. Wouldn’t it have made more sense to run ahead of her?”
Entering the lobby to the baths of the castle, Luna was surprised to discover yet another obstacle to her goal standing in front of the door to the private baths reserved only for Celestia and herself. Raven pushed up her glasses before standing at attention at Luna’s presence.
“Princess Luna! You’re here early!” Raven admitted, brushing back her black mane from her face.
“Yes, yes, could you please excuse me?” Luna stepped forward as Raven blocked her way.
“I’m afraid the bath is not available at the moment!” Raven stuttered, looking over her own clipboard filled with agendas.
“I’ve heard enough of this. The baths are clean enough. Tell whoever is in there to get out!” Luna demanded strongly, stomping her hoof in front of Raven. Raven pushed up the glasses with her hoof, caught off guard by Luna’s statement.
“Clean? Oh yes, they are being cleaned!” Raven nodded, giving a weak smile to the Princess. “The other baths are opened for your use. Nopony is in there at the moment!”
Luna scowled, her patience reaching its end. “You expect me to bathe in the common baths? What if somepony walked in on me? This is absurd!”
“We would never allow that to happen, your highness!”
“The Royal Baths are private to me and my sister, now if you’ll excuse me.” Luna pushed by the meek castle aide, walking through the doors to the bath.
The room was filled with steam from the natural stream, obscuring the view of whoever may be in the hot waters of the bath. Luna was not afraid to make her presence known, however.
“TRESPASSERS! The bath is clean enough! LEAVE! NOW!” Luna boomed, allowing her magic to project her royal voice across the waters. Stomping her hoof in her demands, her horn glowed menacingly with her dark blue aura.
As Luna peered through the steam, a soft giggle was heard. The shadowed figure of a pony started to become clear. Luna moved forward, her hooves clapping loudly on the wet tiles.
“This is no laughing matter! Begone, you-” Luna froze as the image of her sister, Celestia, came into view, her royal backside glistening from the warm waters of the bath. Celestia turned her head around to see her little sister, starting to notice the blush on her cheeks for raising her voice at her superior. “Celestia?”
“Ah Luna, how wonderful for you to interrupt my bath,” Celestia smiled, turning around to face her sister.
“My… my apologies! The staff around the castle have been acting very strange this evening.” Luna turned away, trying not to show any more of the embarrassment on her face.
“Oh, it’s not their fault. I told them that I didn’t want to be disturbed while at the baths.” Celestia explained, lifting her hoof out of the water.
“I understand. I’ll leave you to it then, sister.” Luna said quickly, making her way back to the exit.
“Wait, Luna,” Celestia stepped out of the bath, raising her hoof towards her sister. “You can take a bath now if you wanted.”
Luna froze at the door, feeling her heart start to beat faster. She quickly cleared her throat and turned to Celestia, seeing her mane dripping in front of her muzzle. “I usually bathe in privacy, sister.”
“Oh, well it’s just us. Nothing to worry about.” Celestia smiled, offering her hoof to the blue alicorn.
“If you insist. You may go back to the bath then.” Luna trotted past, standing over by one of the decorated columns that surrounded the pool. Celestia shrugged and waded back in the water, stretching her wings out.
Luna focused her attention on the magic in her horn, using her aura to slowly take off her regal ornaments. She couldn’t shake the fact that Celestia was watching her essentially undressing in front of her when that was exactly what she was doing. Trying to steady her breath, Luna took off her regal shoes on her hooves as she blocked out the other pony in the room with her.
“Just pretend that I’m not here!” Celestia encouraged, pouring a wooden bucket of water over her own back. Luna instinctively covered her face with her wing as she slowly waded into the warm water. What was meant to be a relaxing dip in the bath has turned much more complicated than she could imagine.
Blocking the image of her sister out of her mind, Luna used her magic to pour the bath’s water over her legs, letting it seep into her wings. She closed her eyes and steadied her breathing, trying to relax more than anything. Celestia rose her hoof to her own muzzle as she watched her sister’s fur glisten from the water.
“So, what does bring you to the bath today, Luna?” Celestia asked as Luna continued to wash her body, flicking her tail lightly. “Luna?”
“I thought you weren’t going to act like you were here?” Luna replied, keeping her eyes closed as she worked harder to block out her sister.
“Yes, but I am curious. You’re up earlier than usual this evening.” Celestia moved closer to the small, blue alicorn, with only the sounds of the sloshing water to give away her position.
“I think the better question is why you’re in the baths this late,” Luna asked, stretching out her wings.
“Oh, well after a long day I just needed a bit of stress relief, you could say.”
Luna’s face started to flush, both from the thoughts and the heat of the steam from the bath. She struggled to keep her eyes closed, feeling her sister’s presence getting closer and closer.
“I… I just wanted to feel refreshed before the night is all,” Luna answered, feeling more flustered as she spilled the bucket over her head, hoping to cool herself down. Letting out a heavy breath, Luna felt the soft touch of a hoof on her back.
“Here, let me help you with that,” Celestia whispered into the blue alicorn’s ear, making them perk up at the sound.
“I am perfectly capable of washing myself, sister,” Luna shot back, unable to move away as Celestia’s warm, wet body pressed against her. The large alicorn’s neck rubbed gently against her as Luna let out a soft moan from the affection.
You don’t need to be so cold with me, Luna,”
Her eyes shot open as she turned around to see Celestia’s smiling face with her wet mane covering her eye. Luna’s cheeks blushed as she gulped, losing her footing in the bath.
“Whoa!” Luna cried out as she splashed into the water, creating a large wave to crash against Celestia’s large frame. The white alicorn giggled at the flustered actions, seeing Luna’s face rise out of the water, her mane completely soaked.
“Aww, are you alright?” Celestia asked, raising her hoof to her sister’s muzzle. Luna tried to turn away, only to be fixed on Celestia’s sisterly concern on her face.
“I’m alright,” Luna admitted, using her magic to float over a bottle from the side of the bath. Pouring the contents into her mane, she shakily used one hoof to lather the soap into her hair in front of Celestia.
Celestia’s muzzle twitched at the scent of the shampoo, picking up on the flowery aroma. Luna wobbled as Celestia approached, leaning against Luna’s body as she ran both of her hooves in her sister’s mane. Caught off-guard from the embrace, Luna rested her head against her big sister’s fluffy, wet chest.
“What is this lovely scent, Luna?” Celestia asked, lathering the blue alicorn mane gently. Luna sighed softly, resting her hooves along Celestia’s body.
“It’s lavender. It helps me relax in the bath.” Luna replied, nuzzling her muzzle deeper into Celestia’s fur. Celestia broke away as the two ponies steadied themselves, with Celestia’s hoof resting along Luna’s cheek. Luna gave a soft smile as she bowed down, letting the soap rinse from her mane in the bath.
As she rose, Celestia’s hoof lifted her face up to meet her lips in a sudden kiss. Luna’s eyes widened as her sister’s lips pressed against hers. Her heart raced even faster than before with the surprise affection, her cheeks flushing a deep red at the expression.
Celestia slowly broke away from her sister, her own face red from the heat of the bath and the passionate kiss. Luna was at a loss of words, hearing only the stream of water pouring into the pool of water.
“I’m sorry if that was too much,” Celestia admitted, holding her hoof to her muzzle. “You’re just… I do… Luna…”
Luna leaned up and kissed the white alicorn again, wrapping her hooves around her tall neck. Celestia leaned into the embrace, kissing her sister back with the same passion. Overwhelmed by her sister’s affection, the two fell back into the pool with the water splashing around them. Luna’s body pressed against Celestia’s large frame, holding tightly as she kissed her.
Breaking away for a moment, Celestia caught her breath with a soft chuckle. Luna brushed her wet mane out of her face, looking down at her sister.
“I have always felt this way about you, sister. You’re the only one that understands the solitude that we endure.” Luna explained, letting Celestia rise out of the bath.
“Dear Luna, I feel the same way,” Celestia admitted, wrapping her hooves around her in a warm embrace. Luna nuzzled her sister’s neck, feeling the heat of her affection rising in her.
“Would you grant us a night spend in your company?” Luna asked, resting a hoof on Celestia’s damp, fluffy chest.
“We don’t have much time,” Celestia smiled, leading the blue alicorn out of the bath. Using her magic to lay down some wrapped towels to cushion the hard tile, Celestia laid down her sister on her back, tracing her hoof along her soft, furry chest.
“Forgive us, sister. We don’t…” Luna began before getting cut off from Celestia’s muzzle kissing down her body. Luna’s back arched from the warm sensation, stretching her hooves out as her wings flared behind her. Celestia’s tongue ran down the blue alicorn’s stomach, resting gently on the small lumps of her teats.

“Thank you, dear sister. I hope that was a great experience for both of us,” Luna sighed, softly nestling into the white alicorn’s chest. Celestia wrapped her hoof around her sister as she led her out of the bath, cleaned up so that no pony was ever the wiser.
“Princess Celestia! Princess Luna!” Raven coughed, standing at attention in front of the sisters. “I wanted to make sure you weren’t disturbed, but she insisted-”
“It’s quite alright, Raven,” Celestia commented, resting her wing over Luna. “It was fun bathing with my sister for once.”
“Oh. Oh! That’s good!” Raven smiled, picking up the clipboard to look over what was left of the agenda. “Well, your highness, you don’t have much left on the schedule!”
“That’s right,” Celestia yawned, noticing that the sun was still in the sky since it was her job to lower it. “I shall leave you to your duties as well, Luna.”
“Thank you, sister. For the wonderful evening.” Luna nodded and winked before she trotted off in the opposite direction, ready to make her rounds for the night.
