Moonlight walk

Rarity was in the Boutique Carrousel finishing making a dress. She wore her red glasses as she made the dress.

“I love my career”, said Rarity with a smile.

Rarity was using her sewing machine while making a dress with a pink fabric. Beside her, she had a drawing of a pony wearing the dress she was going to make. She took the fabric from the machine and put the fabric on a mannequin. On the dummy was all the fabrics to make the dress. She picked up a black color stitching line to start stitching the fabrics together so that the dress was finally ready. After that, she took a large cloth, placed it on the back of the pony’s dummy, and stitched it to the fabric. She took off her glasses and set them on the table. She took a few steps back to admire the dress she had made. She looked at the clock in her room and saw that it was two o’clock in the morning. Sweet Belle was probably sleeping now. But she wasn’t sleepy. What to do? She had an idea! She would go out for a little while, while sleep wouldn’t come.

She went downstairs to the door of her house. She opened the door, left the house, and closed the door. She stared at the door before she started to walk. She could feel the breeze on her mane, she closed her eyes to enjoy the breeze. She started walking. She noticed that all the houses were dimly lit, everypony was asleep. Rarity began to wonder if she was the only one who loved the night. Like, she couldn’t be the only one, right? She let out a sigh as she closed her eyes and her ears became disheartened.

Rarity wasn’t aware, but a figure was in the sky flying. The figure saw Rarity and went to her, “I see you like to stay awake on my night, Rarity”

Rarity heard the voice and looked up at the sky and saw Luna landing on the ground with a smile, “no pony walk during my night”

“Princess Luna!” exclaimed surprise Rarity before bowing.

“No need to bow, and please call me Luna”, said Luna.

Rarity stood up and looked at Luna, “okay, Luna”

“Why are you still awake, Rarity?” asked Luna. “Shouldn’t you be sleeping?”

“Well, Luna, I’m not sleepy and I’ve decided to take a walk to see if sleep comes”, replied Rarity.

Luna smiled at the answer, “You’re the only pony you love and enjoy my night”

Rarity was surprised, “Am I the only one who likes your night?”

Luna nodded.

“I thought I had more ponies that loved the night”, said Rarity.

“Me too, Rarity,” agreed Luna. “But I’m glad you like my night”

Rarity smiled, “Thank you, Luna. I’m glad you’re happy that I enjoy your night”

Luna smiled back, “You’re welcome, Rarity. Tell me, Rarity, would you like company?”

Rarity was surprised. She didn’t expect Luna to want to keep her. But just because she was planning to take a walk, she didn’t want to say that she didn’t want Luna’s company, “okay, Luna, I think having your company would be a good idea”

Luna smiled, “Thank you so much, Rarity”

Rarity smiled back before she started walking, with Luna following her, “so, Rarity, do you always do those night walks?”

Rarity looked at Luna, “yes, Luna”

Luna smiled, “I’m happy about that. Almost no pony comes out on the street at these times. Everypony just sleeps...”

Rarity comforted Luna, “Luna, dear, don’t be sad. At least I enjoy your night "

Luna smiled at Rarity, “Thank you, Rarity. No wonder you are the element of generosity”

Rarity smiled with Luna’s compliment, “You’re welcome, Luna”

Rarity and Luna were on a hill, sitting looking at the moon and the stars. Luna looked at Rarity with a smile; Rarity was staring at the night sky with a smile. One of Luna’s main reasons for wanting to stay with Rarity tonight was because she had always liked and loved Rarity. Why? Well, she’s been watching Rarity and she’s always admired Rarity for being beautiful, doing beautiful clothes and always thinking about others, “Rarity”, began Luna.

Rarity took her eyes from the night sky, “Yes, Luna?”

Luna stammered, “I-I’d like to confess something...”

Luna’s voice caught in her throat. She didn’t know how to confess her feelings to Rarity. She thought it was easier, “I...I...”

Rarity started to get worried, “Luna, dear, would you like to go to my house to have some tea?”

Luna looked at Rarity, “Good idea, Rarity. Yes, I would like”

Rarity and Luna arrived at Boutique Carrousel. Rarity opened the door with her magic and motioned for Luna to enter first, “first you, dear”

Luna did as Rarity asked and entered first. She couldn’t do anything but admire Rarity’s house, “your house is beautiful, Rarity”

Rarity closed the door, “Thank you, dear”

Rarity headed toward the kitchen to make some tea for Luna. Luna sat in the chair next to the kitchen. She smiled as Rarity picked everything up for tea.

When Rarity finished making tea, she put the tea in a pot and put some tea for herself and Luna. Rarity went to Luna and gave Luna a cup of tea, “thank you, Rarity”

“You’re welcome, dear”, said Rarity before she began to drink her tea.

When Luna drank some tea, she felt calmer. She wondered if it was chamomile tea. Luna looked at Rarity. She couldn’t help noticing that Rarity was drinking the tea quite elegantly. She wondered if Rarity liked to visit Canterlot quite often, “Rarity”

Rarity stopped drinking her tea and looked at Luna, “yes?”

“Do you visit Canterlot quite often?” wanted to know Luna.

Rarity smiled, “yes, why?”

“It’s just that I couldn’t help noticing that you drink tea like Canterlot’s ponies, Rarity”, replied Luna.

“I know. It’s because I’m a pony who has good manners and is fancy. Did you know that my dream is to live in Canterlot?”

Luna smiled, “if you want, you can come visit me at the castle”

Rarity let out a surprised sigh, “Really? Yes! I would love to!”

Luna smiled before taking a deep breath. She had to confess to Rarity what she felt. The tea is made to calm down, so maybe she can speak Rarity what she feels.

“Rarity”, began Luna.

“Yes, Luna?” asked Rarity.

“I’d like to confess something to you”, continued Luna.

“And what is it, Luna?” asked Rarity.

“I love you”, managed to say Luna. “I’ve been watching you, Rarity. And I always admired you, Rarity. You're beautiful, make beautiful clothes and always think of others”

Rarity just smiled, “I never thought you thought of me this way, Luna”

“And I think this way, Rarity”, said Luna with a smile.

Rarity walked over to Luna and hugged her with her front hooves, “you have no idea how much I’ve always wanted to date”

Luna smiled before embracing her Marefirend, “well, you now date me, Rarity”
