daring do and the ring of destiny

Daring do was carried to ahuizotl’s temple where his hench cats locked her in a room. Her hooves where strapped on cinder blocks and below her was a pool of water with piranhas swimming around without a care in all of equestria. This was probably the only time daring do has ever wished to be a piranha.

“Surrender now ahuizotl!.....” daring do said trying to get her hooves free “...or i’ll be forced to take you down!” she said struggling to get out of the straps even more.

Ahuizotl just laughed “oh daring do! I will so miss your amusing laughter of jokes. Now i must leave to commence the ring placing ceremony to unleash eight hundred years of unrelenting sweltering heat!!!” then ahuizotl pulled a chain and the water below daring do started to fill up as water gushed from a spout.

Ahuizotl left laughing hard and waving goodbye with his hand tail.

Daring do lunged more and more when clink! The cinder block on her right back hoof came out of the wall but the cinder block was still stuck on her hoof and the piranhas where jumping up hungrier than ever

Daring do pulled and pulled until her left back hoof cinder block came out of the wall as well.

She lunged and her other right hoof came out she lunged with her left hoof getting ready to fly once it came out of the wall.

The water was getting higher and higher until clink! The final hoof came out. Daring do flapped harder then ever before trying to avoid going into the deadly water to face her doom!

She was getting lower and lower and her wings were getting tired. She was about to go in when

“Gotcha!” the blue pegasus swooped in and flew her up trying to get to the entry way “You can flap too y’know!” she lunged daring do flapped her wings and they made it to the entryway.

There daring do slammed the cinder blocks until they broke on the ground freeing her hooves. “ i was just bout to save myself y’know” daring do said matter-of-factly

“of course” the pegasus said “ i just thought you might need this” she finished sliding daring’s pith helmet to her.

“Have i mentioned yet that i work alone?” daring do said putting the hat on again.

Teamwork was one thing she hated, if they got caught she would have to save them and if she got caught and they saved her she would owe them.

“ have i mentioned yet that you’re lucky i don’t?” the pegasus answered.

Daring do sighed then gave the pegasus a friendly smile.
