Author's Note

I decided to get a head start on this chapter so I could try and finish it up before Mother's Day arrives, or when Mother's Day starts. Anyways, I hope you all enjoy it and thanks for your patience and support and remember to stay tuned for more and keep bronying on.

Oops, They Forgot

The next day, Flash and Aqua decided to meet up with each other and take a little stroll around the city, chatting up a storm about random stuff. Even craxking a few jokes here and there. Aqua was definitely having the time of her life with her brand new friend. Flash Magnus also seemed to be having loads of fun, too. The more he was getting to know Aqua, the closer he felt to her. Then came a subject that piqued his interest.

"By the way, you said you had a son last night, am I right?" he asked.

"Yes, his name's Blazing Waters. He's a very hard-working young man," Aqua said.

"And what about this girlfriend of his, what's she like?"

"Well, she's an athlete, a bit of a tomboy and she was a part of a band back in Canterlot High. I've never seen Blazing so happy in my whole life. Before he met her, he would do nothing but play video games and it made me worry about him. I know I might've sounded annoying to him back then, but I was just worried he'd end up like his no-good father. Some time after he graduated, he got a job. One day, when he came home from work, Rainbow Dash, or Blazing's girlfriend, must've changed his mind about his thoughts on my "nagging."

"Ah, so despite being a tomboy, she still thinks a person's family matters."

"Anyways, enough about me, why not tell me a little more about yourself. You told me that you used to be a U.S military soldier for over 2 decades. What'd you do before that?"

"Is it in case of emergencies?" Aqua asked.

"You hit the nail right on the head. When I was about to turn 22, I paid my family avisit. I left to say hi to my folks back at their house and proposed to Darla. We got married 3 months later and became a whole lot closer to each other... at the time, that is."

"I've heard marriage is a difficult task. Is it true?" Aqua asked.

"You bet. It's even more difficult when you spend most of the time getting caught up in the middle of an intense war from 18 years ago. I'm pretty sure you know which one I'm talking about," Flash said.

Aqua gasped in surprise, but knew what war he was talking about. "Yes. That day scared me more than anything and it hurt to see their loved ones get killed."

"I know what you mean. Almost 3000 people killed, 6,000 injured, myself included. My wife even thought I wasn't gonna make it when it happened. I was a total mess. But I pulled through and helped guide my fellow comrades to victory after putting a stop to the one behind it all. Although, like every war, not every soldier was able to make it home safely to their families and friends. I still carrry the spirits of my fallen comrades with me inside my heart and spirit."

"You did all that you could. You won the war and that's what matters. I'm positive your parents must've been so very proud of the way you fought for them and your country," Aqua said patted the back of Flash's hand, giving him a warm smile.

"Of course. Every parent should always be proud by the fact that their own child put their lives on the line just to keep our country safe. If I had met you first, I think my parents would've loved you. It's too bad I can't introduce you to them now, may they rest in peace."

"Oh, I'm sorry for your loss."

"Yeah, but on the bright side, they died peacefully while I was at their bedside. They both died from natural causes and still had their sweet smiles on their faces. If that wasn't proof that they were proud of everything I've done, I don't know what is. So that's pretty much how life as a veteran was like," he finished.

"You certainly know how to look on the positive side of things. Does that come from your mother's side of the family, or is it your father's side?" Aqua asked.

"Both, actually," Flash said. "Changing the subject, if the time comes, why don't you introduce me to your son, I'd really like to meet him one day." Aqua was even more happy knowing Flash was that interested in her and her child, so with a chuckle, she looked directly at him and gave her answer.

"In due time, Flash. In due time," Aqua said. 'Hmm, wait a second, did I let Blazing know ahead of time that I'm hanging out with a new friend or... did I forget?' she thought to herself.

Meanwhile, at Blazing Waters' house, the boy and his hot-headed girlfriend, Rainbow Dash were in his bedroom, butt naked and banging each other. "You kidding me? Of course I'll come. You're mom's an awesome woman to hang out with. But I think we should hold off on our every-day fuck sessions. She might get upset," Rainbow said.
