Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi landed on the platform of the city. Rain pelted down, immediately drenching his robe. He walked inside, and was instantly met with two creatures. One, a tall necked alien with a fish like head, and a four legged creature with wings, a horn, and covered in bright, white armor.

The taller creature spoke. “Welcome, Master Jedi, to Kamino. We've been expecting you.”

Out of all the things Obi-Wan prepared for when searching for this planet, this was not one of them. “I'm expected?”

“Of course.” The Kaminoan said. “After all these years, we were beginning to think you weren't coming.” She then pointed to the armored quadruped standing next to her.

“Captain Cadence will escort you to meet the Prime Minister. If you have any questions, she will be happy to answer any way she can.”

Kenobi stared at the creature, who saluted in response. She then lowered her leg, and nodded to the Kaminoan.

“Of course, Madam.” Cadence then turned back to Obi-Wan. “Follow me, sir.” She turned in a brisk about face, and marched off, the confused and cautious Jedi following behind her.

The two walked down the long, blinding white halls of Topica City's Cloning Facility. Kaminoans walked past them, giving suspicious glances as they did so. This proved the point Dex made back at the Diner, the Cloners were a very closed bunch. Obi-Wan's gaze fell back on Cadence. The soldier peaked his curiosity, and his curiosity was one that always required savoring.

“Tell me, Captain. Which army do you serve?” He asked. Cadence's head turned, to which he quickly added, “You don't seem like a Kaminoan.”

“I serve your army, sir. The one built for the Republic.”

Cadence looked at his visible confusion, to which she shared her ow. The difference was that her helmet kept hers well hidden. Why would the Jedi be confused? Surely he knew about the request placed by Master Sifo Dyas.

Obi-Wan recovered quickly, stuttering out another question. “So there are more like you, then?”

The trooper shook her head. “No sir, there are only two other alicorns like me, my sisters.”

That made Kenobi’s eyebrow raise, and his confusion return. “Then who is the army cloned after?”

“A Bounty Hunter named Jango Fett, if you want, sir, I’m sure the Prime Minister would be delighted to arrange a meeting with him.” They turned around a corner, heading towards a door at the end of the hallway. As they approached, the door opened, and another Kaminoan, wearing darker clothing, stood before them.

“Welcome to Topica City, Master Jedi.” The Jedi Master and Prime Minister bowed in respect before the Kaminoan turned to Cadence. “You may return to your barracks, Captain. Your company is allowed a day of rest from training.”

Cadence bowed, then left the room. “Now, we have much to discuss.” Was the last thing the alicorn trooper heard before the door closed, blocking out all sound inside the room.

A few minutes later, Cadence arrived back in her barracks. The rest of her brothers were already there, in their regular cadet uniforms. They all stood at attention as she entered, to which she simply rolled her eyes.

“Come on brothers, you know you don’t have to do this in the Barracks.” The clones relaxed, and went back to their normal duties. A few crowded around her, having heard from passers that she escorted a Jedi to the Prime Minister. They all asked what the Jedi was like, after all, he was going to be one of their future Generals.

“Well, he seemed pretty calm and collected, until you confuse him. Then his face is just too hilarious!”

“Is that so?” A brother asked. Cadence decided to humor them, and did a mockery version of Obi-Wan kenobi’s infamous Visible Confusion Face.
