Hunters
Youngling part 3
Previous ChapterNext ChapterTaçhi was in a pickle, a Royal guard was hurt, the cart was torn in half, and a giant chicken was coming for his head and he didn't have much time to react.
"I'm gonna need a bigger knife"
Looking around he saw the guard who had a large gash on his side . Taçhi ran over to the guard. Kneeling Taçhi tended to the guards wound and made sure to keep him from dying.
"Hey! What's your name!" Taçhi asked before taking the guards sword.
"S-Shining Armor" he moaned in pain.
"Well stay alive; I need you too tell of my tale" Taçhi stood up and turned around. The giant bird landed on the cart and looked at the Youngling with hungry eyes.
"I need you to tell how I killed the beast!" Taçhi said before running at the bird.
Shining Armor saw what he for so long wanted to be so badly, he saw a fire that could not be extinguished and it even burn hotter in battle.
Taçhi jumped up and swiped at the giant bird. He cut into the feathers and smiled, he brought back his knife and stabbed into the bird passing it's feathers and stabbing into it's flesh, "Gggrrr! Just die!" Taçhi drove the knife deep into the creature and this earned a scream of pain.
Shining'a eyes widened when he saw the creature scream. No guard has ever seen any monsters, though the princesses speak of hunters like they were guardians.
"I won't let you get away!" Taçhi yelled out as he kept stabbing the bird.
Shining heard the hunter yell out, he smiled knowing that he would have a tale to tell. He would witness what a Youngling was capable of.
The bird flapped it's wings allowing it to gain flight. the Hunter grabbed on to his knife and lifted up his feet making sure to place them on the aide of the bird. The beast flapped enough to gain flight and app it flew with the boy hanging on for dear life.
"Taçhi!"
Shining looked behind him.
The elder Hunter saw his son being taken up towarss the sky, "No...Noooo!" The elder hinter yelled out both angry and worried.
While up in the sky Taçhi was nervours, woried that he would lose hia grip and fall; he made sure he was hanging tightq nothing would prevent him from this hunt.
"Ccccaaaawwww!"
Taçhi took a deep breath in and knew what he had to do. He took out the sword and turned it side ways before bitting the blade keeping it locked in his teeth. He gripped some feathers tightly making sure he wouldn't fall or slip. Taking out his shorter blade and shething it making sure it too wouldn't fall out.
After making aure hia blade was secure, he started to climb the beast and found it easy to do as he climed towards the head.
The bird looked at the stoaway and made a angry chirping sound. It looked down before dive bombing towards the ground. Taçhi held on tight and made sure he wouldn't fall off.
Taçhi saw the center of Canterlot coming close, he knew that if the beats, wasn't stopped, it would eat innocents.
Taçhi gripped the swords hilt and opened hia mouth, he let the sword go from his mouth and brought it up. Looking for the right spot, was hard to find on a giant bird, it's feathers were thick and the blade wasn't as sharp as the ones he is used too.
"Dam...well hope this works!"
Taçhi lifted the sowrd up and instead of a cutting motion he went for a stabbnling one. The sword past the feathers and struck a tendon. Hitting the tendon forced the birds right wing to go limp, and cause the giant bird to scream in fear, pain, and anger. With it's wing out of thw loop it hand no choice but to crash land near the center of Cantorlot.
Taçhi was blown off of the giant bird and crashed into a table and next to a purple Unicorn Filly. The Filly cried out in terror before dropping what she had in her hands.
"Aaauuuggg...I think I broke my arm..." Taçhi groaned out while holding his left arm. He got up and looked at said arm and noticed that a wooden dowel had imbeded it's self into his arm, "...that explains why it feels like a stabbing pain" Taçhi grabbed the dowel and pulled on it. He acreamed in pain, as blood came from his wound. It took a great deal of effort but he was able to free the wooden dowel from his arm.
"GAH!" He yelled out while holding his arm. He looked around for anything he could use and noticed the scared Unicorn.
Taçhi stood up amd walked over to her, "hey" he spoke, "I need you to help me- dammit!" He graoned, the pain got worse as he moved, "listen, do you know any healing spells?"
"N-n-no!" The unicorn stammered. She was shaking in fear, even though she was slightly taller she still felt a overwhelming fear.
"...the...I'm...I need a doctor" Taçhi said before he fell face first into the stone paved street.
Behind him a band of guards formed around him with both amazment and worry, this child had taken down a giant Bird.
"Whoa! He killed it!"
"Amazing!"
"Just a child?"
Taçhi looked up and saw all the guards. Using what energy he had left, he pushed himself up and walked over to one of the guards. He leabed on a mare and looked up to her, "you're blade, I need it now!"
The mare looked down at Taçhi, she was nevours no guard would give up their blade for any reason.
*thump*
Taçhi sighed and grabbed the sword from the mares hip, he unsheathed it from the scabbered and walked forward. He passed the other guards and looked up to the bird.
*Thump!*
All the guards back up in fear. The Giant bird was still alive, it had livid scowl.
Taçhi looked at the beast as it towered over him. Pointing the sword upwards as a challenge, the beast accepted.
Taçhi smiled and moved into a 'guard' stance, "Good! Now, become my meal!"
The bird lifted it's head and went down with a peck. Taçhi simply moved out of the way slightly and let the bird crash it's beak into the ground with a loud crack.
Taçhi looked the beast in it's eyes and smiled widely. The bird attempted to get it's beak unstuck but failed to and only served to pull on the sensitive parts of it's beak.
Taçhi looked at the creature with a hungry eye, he lifted the sword high in the air, "Here, let me help!" He said before cutting into the beak of the beast. Flesh, bone, and beak were all chopped away as the sword cut.
The creature cried out in pain, and pulled back even harder. The swoed cut again earning another yelp if pain, "come on! I thought you were a challenge! No you're a meal for me to eat!" With a final yell the sword made a final strike and cut the off of the creatures beak, earning a final, painful squeel. The bird pulled back; blood and flesh flying everywhere as it did.
Taçhi looked up and saw the beast look at him with fear. It was no longer hunting the human, the human was hunting it.
"Now, die!" Taçhi yelled out pointing at the bird.
It had a enough, it's heart gave way and it fell down longer able to fight, exhausted and dying.
Taçhi took a step using the swird as a cane to help him walk. A crowd had gathered around the Youngling to see what he would do next.
"...In death there is life" Taçhi said as he got closer, "so suffer no more, and walk free as a spirit" he was close enough to the bird, he lifted the sword up and stabbed the birds heart killing. There was no yelp, no squeal only, silence.
"Walk free...my friend" Taçhi said before finally he gave out and let himself fall into a dark sleep.
"Taçhi!"
Across Cantorlot the elder Hunter had arrived and passed everyone on his way.
The elder hunter had made it up to Cantorlot and even before the train stopped, he was off to where he saw the bird land.
He passed manny guards, and manny nobles who either gawked or chastised him for almost crushing them.
It wasn't till, he was in the middle of Cantorlot did he see a sight that filled him up with great pride.
There being tended to by a guard was, Taçhi and above him both Princess Luna and Princess Cadance, even they had come to see what was wrong.
"Oh my!"
The elder Hunter jumped when he heard a mare behind him. He turned around and saw Princess Celeatia her self with a hand coverning her muzzle in disbelief.
The elder Hunter stood taller than even the princess her self. This is what made him pretty intimidating to most.
"Princess Celestia" the elder hunter put his right arm over his cheat and balled it up into a fist.
"Oh...sorry, as you were hunter!" Celestia said. She smiled at the elder hunter, before She walked towards Taçhi who was awake and who was almost fully healed.
"Now remember, take two of these and-" the guard was cut off.
"I'll be fine, the tea of the num flower will help with the pain" Taçhi looked at his arm that was now healed and a small scar was on the left side of his arm.
"Than at least-" the guard was cut off again.
"No, the honey from bees will help keep any infections at bay" Taçhi looked at the guard and smiled.
He attempted to get up but was forced back down by a magenta colored aura. He was forced back down and the purple filly from before was infornt of him with a book.
Celestia cut off guard as she stifled a laugh.
"It says that a human needs at least a day of rest when in a battle!" She pointed to a human in the book who was sitting on a log. Taçhi ignored her and stood up only to fall back down.
"Twilight, please leave him alone, he needs his rest" Celestia said to the filly.
The elder Hunter walked towards his son and stood in front of him with a smile.
"You did good son, now rest we will carve the bird later"
Taçhi nodded and just allowed himself to rest, soon though he would again face another challange, his mother.
