War: /wôr/ a state of armed conflict between different nations or states or different groups within a nation or state.

War.
It is a such a small word,
it only has three letters.
And yet it is this small word that can cause the most grief, the most anguish, and the most pain one can live with.
It lingers, long after those who started it,
It sets the cycle to start itself.

And yet...
it has brought medical knowledge.
Technological revolutions.
Freedom.

War has become a hateful necessity.

Ponyville, population of 534, a town centered mainly around the farming industry, ethnic groups favor the earth pony side with an equal balance between the pegasus and unicorns. Male/female gender ratio is every 1 male to 3 females, the town sports many brand restaurants and stores commonly found all over Equestria.

Human population: 1

Jack, an average looking human in a not so average place. His circumstances for arriving are unknown and is also the same answer to how he will get back. Despite these things, Jack has been living a carefree life among the denizens of Ponyville. After the initial shock of his existence passed over, the citizens accepted him with open arms. He helps out the neighbors when they need things moved, he drinks out with the guys every Tuesday night, he helps out at the Apple farm during harvest season, he runs a flower shop.

Jack is living his second chance at life to the best he has always wanted. So why does it feel like he is running from something? And why must the kindest people he knows ask the hardest questions?

A little short story I had randomly came up with. I will eventually finish it, but depending on how well it is received, I may work on it more often.
