Riddle me this

The Sphinx has set up the table with sandwiches and tea, Twilight was munching on one, she was wearing a light blue long sleeves shirt and a pair of blue jeans, Sphinx put one of the sandwiches on her plate and poured herself a mug of tea.

"You know you're supposed to use teacups right?" Twilight asked.

"My drink does not decide my cup, I do," She replied simply as she took a deep drink, "Anyway let's get this started," She looked Twilight dead in the eye "Why do you hate me?"

"Because you're...," Twilight started, only for Sphinx bang down on the table.

"Don't give me that, reformed villains need to earn trust bullshit, if that was the problem you'd be acting suspicious and be sneaking around to get information on me, you would not just be straight out trying to banish me to a dimension of chaos, so I'll ask you again, why do you hate me?" Twilight stared silently back at her. "Is it because of my relationship with Spike?" She asked.

"It might be somewhat related to that," Twilight replied as filled her teacup with tea. "Spike just jumped into this relationship and now you're engaged, he didn't try to stall you, he didn't try to get rid of you, he just instantly asked if he could have you and you just agreed that if he won..."

"First and for most, we got engaged at the very start," Sphinx said simply "Secondly I opened the contract and gave him the freedom to pick his prize, he picked me and I got stuck with his conditions, I just lucked out in actually enjoying his company," she drained her cup and began refilling it, once it was topped off she picked up several sandwiches and ate them swiftly, once she was done, she looked back at Twilight and folded her hands "Ok Listen Twilight I understand if you want to protect your younger brother, and I'm sure that should you announce that you where engaged out of nowhere Spike probably wouldn't mind, but I'm betting your older brother would be pissed at you so to be husband," There was silence for a moment before the Sphinx facepalmed "oh dammit I'm gonna have to do this with your older brother aren't I?" Sphinx shook her head and Twilight took a deep breath.

"I don't hate you, and I don't like you, I have no positive or negative opinion, Discord pulled it towards negative, but now it's back to no opinion in either way," Twilight held up her hands "On one side you were evil so that made it go down, but Spike seemed to trust you for some reason so that raised it back up," She shrugged "I'm against your relationship, but that's sisters bias so I'm not counting that against your character,"

"Listen Twilight," Sphinx said calmly "I could sit here and try and make you like me, but I won't, you know why? Casue I have no reason to care for your opinion on me, Spike likes me, the Princesses of the Sun and Moon found me acceptable, Luna was a little more than accepting," Twilight frowned at that before standing up.

"I can accept that, I'll leave you to your day and tell you if my opinion on you should raise one way or the other," Twilight raised her hand and Sphinx shook it,

"Thank you for being an adult about this, see you when I see you," in a blink of an eye Twilight was standing alone in the room,

"You're welcome," Twilight replied before blinking "Shit I have to be at the school in 7 minutes!" With a Flash, Twilight teleported away leaving the room empty.

Meanwhile

"Alright stand still," Starlight said as she lit her horn, there was a squelching sound and Starlight removed one of the shark teeth from his body, as soon as she did this blood began squirting out of the wound, Starlight covered it in a Bandaged "You might get some light scarring from this," She added as she placed the tooth in a bloody bowl that had three other teeth in it "Three more and where's done,"

"Just do it fast," Spike replied, Starlight light her horn and began pulling on the one in his shoulder, Spike made a noise of pain and Starlight stopped.

"Are you...?"

"I'm fine, I'm fine! Just pull it out," Spike replied, Starlight nodded and pulled the tooth out, Spike made several noised of discomfort when suddenly a shadow covered the two of them.

"You ok?" Sphinx asked as she towered over the two, Spike waved with his right hand

"This might leave a scar or two, otherwise I'm fi-FUCK!" Spike snapped as Starlight tore another tooth out, blood began rushing out and before Starlight could react the wound was bandaged with Sphinxes magic, who leaned down and put her hand under Spike's chin,

"You wanna get some ice cream after this?" She asked,

"I'd love some ice cream for dinn-Neg!" Spike gritted his teeth for a moment as the last tooth was taken out.

"Alright Spike," Starlight said as she picked up the bloody bowl "At least 4 of these could be made into a neckless or maybe make into some decorative pie..." Starlight froze when the Sphinx put her arm around her.

"Starlight, why don't you come with me and Spike for ice cream? We've been meaning to talk to you and this way we can thank you for helping him out," Starlight held up her hands

"Oh no, I don't want to intrude,"

"Come now, it's the least we can do," Starlight was about to speak when Spike added.

"We can go fly some kites after we get them,"

"I'm in," Starlight decided, in a flash the three were standing outside the castle and without a word she picked both Spike and Starlight up and placed them on her girls, Starlight's face glew red.
