Riddle me this

Spike and High winds waved goodbye as they parted ways with Applejack and Rainbow Dash, intent on getting to actually know one another without interruption, and while it was nice to see them, Rainbow was having a tough time keeping herself together after hearing how the two had come to go on their date.

"So where should we go now?" High Winds asked as she looked at the shops around them "Should we go mindlessly shopping while talking, try and find something we both enjoy, or maybe find a nice park bench and chill for a while?" Spike pondered the options and what they might lead to.

"Why not do the last two" He decided with a snap "We can find an open bench and talk about our hobbies and try to see if any match up,"

"Sounds like a plan," High wind agreed the two made their way to the park, talking while they did so. "Well, I guess I'll start us off" High winds began counting her hobbies "I like exercising, I'm fond of sightseeing, I like being a Wonderbolt though I'm not sure if that counts as a hobby since it's my job, Swimming comes to mind, I'm fond of reading spell book's even if I have no hope of ever using any of the spells it's pretty cool to see all the things Unicorns can do, oh and I love me a good game of Poker," High wind motioned to Spike and he listed his off.

"I like to Collect Power Pony stuff, I go mining a lot, I myself have read a lot of spell book's even though I can't use the magic myself, I like soap skating, I rather enjoy me a good game of Chess, I really enjoy Gem baking, I like walking, I'm not sure I can count it as a hobby but I do enjoy swimming so long as the water isn't ice cold," Spike scratched his chin, "That's all I can think of at the moment," High winds nodded as she mentally compared the two lists they had made.

"So we both Like learning about magic we can't hope to use and swimming," She frowned before adding "Also what the hell is soap skating?"

"it's when I coat the floors of the castle in soapy water and skate on it with sponges," Spike replied simply, earning an amused look from High Winds "Don't knock it till you try it, I've never played poker but I can give it a shot, although Sphinx will probably make it Strip Poker with added Sex if she were to join us,"

"I wanna say I'm looking forward to meeting this Sphinx," High winds said before pausing for a moment "But she sounds like she's addicted to sex,"

"I'm pretty sure she made the word sex," Spike replied as they got to the park and sat on the first bench they found with a good view, before them was a large lake that held sower memories for Spike "Oh no," he groaned when he saw it.

"Something wrong?" High winds asked as she looked out across the lake, "Something happen here?"

"I fell asleep and was left floating on an ice block," Spike frowned "I would not recommend being woken up by falling into the middle of a lake full of freshly unfrozen ice water, it's bad enough on its own but then you have to swim to shore while you're at it," Spike stuck his tongue out at the memory "Anyway enough about why I hate this lake," Spike turned to High noon "Tell me why you're into spell books," High winds smiled.

"Nice redirection," She said happily as she got comfy on the bench "The answer is simple, my parents are both unicorns, and oh boy were they unprepared for a Pegasus, I had a mountain of spell books because they had expected me to use them, they sold most of them not too long after I was born but they missed a few so I ended up with like 12 random spell books to read, most of them being a continuation or having continuations, so I ended up collecting them, it's a lot of fun learning about what I could have had, but then again if I had been born a Unicorn you and I wouldn't be here right now, I'd never have become a Wonderbolt, I'd probably just be some random court wizard or some boring show performer," she laughed "I'm happy to be a Pegasus," without warning she patted Spike's back and made him jump up a little as she gripped one of his wings hidden under his shirt, "Alright your turn, why does a dragon read spell books?"

"Oh I helped Twilight learn from them," he said simply "Helped her make lists of what spells should be learned in what order, to find out if knowing certain spells made other ones easier to cast," Spike smiled at the good times "I once got a magic mustache from a spell, got to keep it for a while but it started growing out of control so she removed it," He giggled at the memories, "So swimming anything neat to say on that?"

"not really," High winds replied with a shrug "It's just something I do form time to time, was just one of the first things I could think of," she looked out at the lake and looked around, their surrounding where empty and no ponies could be heard near them. "But since there's a lake in front of us why don't we have some fun?" She got up off the bench and offered Spike her hand, "Can that fancy collar of yours do a swimsuit?" Spike looked at her as his clothing melted away into a pair of wonder bolt colored swim trunks, leaving the collar visible on his neck as he got up.

"Alright I have something but what exactly do you plan to-" Spike was given his answer as she casually took her shirt off and gave a full view of her bra to him.

"I have my Wonderbolt issues underwear on," She said proudly "these things are enchanted so we don't chafe during harsh weather, in other words, they work as a wonderful swimsuit. she dropped her jacket and pants to the ground and pulled Spike to the lake. "Now come on, let's have some fun,"
