Twilight and Spitfire were returned to the Lava Cistern by Fluttershy. They split ways after saying goodbye, Fluttershy staying at her post while Spitfire and Twilight headed in opposite directions, Spitfire heading home while Twilight headed deeper into the Lava Cistern.

Sunset frowned as they approached a huge white building with a huge sign reading Lab “I don’t remember there being a lab in the Cistern.”

Twilight entered to see a unicorn a really pale yellow mare with a mane of amaranth, violet and purple. She was also wearing a pair of glasses and a labcoat, Twilight smiled as she waved “Hello.”

The mare jumped, before nervously looking at the human “Um, hello.”

Sunset raised an eyebrow “She is certainly twitchy.”

Twilight smiled as she held out a hand “My name is Twilight, I understand you’re nervous. I struggled to make friends on the surface, heck I spent most of my spare time tinkering with machines.”

Moondancer smiled nervously “Well um where are you heading?”

Twilight frowned “I’m heading to barrier, it’s the only way out of the Underground.”

Moondancer sighed “Well you’ll have to go through the Glamour Resort. A mare by the name of Rarity is the star there, you will have to face her to go through. Due to an accident a while ago she has been mechanically enhanced while I had to build a completely new body for her sister, Sweetie Belle.”

Just then a white robotic filly with a greyish mulberry mane that has light greyish rose streaks running through it. Moondancer turned around with a smile “Sweetie Belle, what can I help you with.”

Sweetie Belle smiled innocently “I want to cook something and I was hoping somepony will help me.”

Moondancer froze in horror, Twilight on the other hand smiled “I may not be a pony but I can help you.”

As Sweetie Belle bounced up and down exictedly, Sunset turned to see Moondancer shaking as she looked at the two of them “Why is she…” Sunset was pulled as the little filly grabbed Twilight’s hand and pulled her along rapidly. Soon they were in front of a kitchen with several ingredients.

The pair were quietly chopping carrots, things went badly as soon as Sweetie Belle turned on the oven. It started spiting fire in every direction, Twilight yelped as part of the fire leapt onto her.

Sweetie Belle ran around in a panic “What do I do?!”

Twilight grimaced as she dodged the fire before turning the oven off, shortly afterwards the fire dissipated. Sweetie Belle gave her a sad look “I’m sorry.”

Twilight gave her a hug with a smile “It’s okay, can you show me to the Core.”

Sweetie Belle smiled “Sure.” Sunset smiled as she floated behind Twilight who followed Sweetie Belle all they way to a large building.

She then saw a white unicorn with mechanical legs frantically gallop over to them her beautiful purple mane flowing in the wind “Sweetie Belle, where were you?!”

Sweetie Belle slumped “I went to ask Moondancer if she could help em cook something..” she then chirped “she didn’t but this human helped.”

Rarity sighed “I love you Sweetie Belle but I specifically told you that you’re not allowed near a kitchen without me present. You almost burned down the entire building” She then sighed “The building was not my concerned but there are hundred of ponies who would have been hurt, look the human with is burned.”

Sweetie Belle sighed “I’m sorry, I was going to show her the way through the core as an apology.”

Rarity smiled “Don’t worry, I’ll guide her through the Core.” She then turned to Sweetie Belle “Can you go and rearrange my schedule for me.”

Sweetie Belle nodded with a grin “Will do sis.”

Rarity then beckoned Twilight to follow her, Rarity smiled “I’m grateful for what you did for Sweetie Belle. I’m often busy so I don’t get a lot of time to spend with my sister.”

Twilight smiled “You’re welcome.”

Soon they had passed through a stage, Rarity smiled “This is where I perform. Along this path is the way to the castle, the barrier is is beyond there. Head through whenever you’re ready.”

Twilight about to go through when she got a call from Spitfire “I need you deliver a letter to Moondancer if that possible.”

Twilight smiled “I can do that, I’ll be on my way.” Twilight backtracked through the Lava Cistern smiling at the ponies in the area. The guards even let her pass, she then headed through the Water Plains back into Snowville, she saw Spitfire holding a letter.”

Spitfire smiled as she gave her the letter “This is important, so please make sure it gets there safely.”

Twilight grinned “Will do.” Twilight rushed back to the lab only to see the door was closed. She slipped the letter under the door.

She heard the sound of an individual moving, before the sound of banging and crashing. Sunset blinked “What did Spitfire use to make that envelope?” Twilight was thinking the same thing.

Soon they heard Moondancer’s voice “Um who’s there.”

Twilight frowned “It’s me, I delivered the letter from Spitfire” she then smiled “so what was the letter about?”

Moondancer mumbled “She asked me on a date.”

Twilight smiled “Then go with her, I know you’re nervous but she is asking for you. I suggest watching Anime with her. It’s something she likes doing.”

Moondancer smiled “Yes, I introduced her to Anime I got show some of the new Anime I’ve gathered.”

Twilight smiled “I’d love to stay but I have to continue on.” Moondancer smiled “That’s fine, I have to get ready for my date.”

Sunset and Twilight nodded, they arrived at the Core and passed by the stage only to arrive in the Capital of the Underground. Sunset sighed “I hope she can overcome Celestia. If not I may have to assist.”
