She took a deep breath as approached the large “This is Sunset, time to say your final goodbyes to this horrid world.” She took a step forward, she closed her eyes as she felt the air pushing against her body. She groaned as she felt a light thud on a soft surface, she sat up only to see she was sitting on a bed of golden flowers on a green field. She growled “Well that fucking failed! Now where the fuck am I?!” Sunset exited the room to see a crying dark blue equine lying on a green patch of grass. It was large with wings and a horn on it’s body, a picture of the moon on it’s flanks with a starry mane flowing in the air as if gravity didn’t affect it. Sunset cautiously approached as it wailed “Why does nopony respect me!” Sunset made a small sound and the equine jumped in shock. It took a deep breath “It’s quite surprising to see a human down here, it should be impossible for you to be here?” Sunset frowned “I entered by jumping into the mountain, I didn’t think there was anything alive down here” she then scowled “Don’t mention humans around me, I hate them with a passion!” The equine frowned “It’s not healthy to despise your own kind yet again I understand the feeling. My name is Luna, Princess of the Night.” Sunset frowned “My name is Sunset Shimmer, now where is this place?” Luna frowned “This is the underground, home to ponies and a few other races who have been sealed away due to fear.” Sunset grimaced “I understand. That brings me to another question where should I go now Luna levitated the girl onto her back “I am taking you back to the castle, it would not be safe for you to stay out here. Ponies aren't exactly accepting of you kind Sunset nodded was Luna took off into the sky, Sunset eyes widened as she saw a marvellous looking castle that would make the grandest of human castle look ugly in comparison. Two bat-like ponies with slitted eyes wearing pitch black armour to pulled out their spears as Sunset hopped off Luna’s back, Luna raised a hoof “At ease, she’s with me.” The guards nodded at Sunset “Forgive us, we were concerned. We didn’t expect to see a human arrive with the Princess.” Sunset chuckled darkly “I despise humans as well, I would gladly wipe them off the map of the world.” Luna as well as the two guards shared a concerned look but then shook their heads. Sunset and Luna entered the marvellously decorated hallways, golden banners of the the Sun and dark blue banner of the Moon covered the walls as stalwart guards and suits of armour stood at attention. They approached a room with a dark blue door and a moon symbol on it only for a mare similar to Luna only she had a white coat with an aurora like mane as well as picture of the sun on her flanks. Luna frowned as she turned to Sunset “This is my sister, Princess Celestia.” Celestia’s eyes widened as her horn flared “A Human!” She fired a magical blast at Sunset, a dark blue barrier appeared between the two as Luna glared at her sister! Sunset grimaced “I have no desire to harm you, humans have caused me a lot of harm. I am not like the humans on the surface.” Sunset entered Luna’s room, she looked around in awe of the star patterns that covered walls with a glowing white moon on the room. A massive dark blue bed with slightly lighter blue pillows sat in the middle of the room, a decent sized lighter blue vanity was on one side while a black bedside table was next to the bed. Celestia growled at Luna outside of the room “Why did you bring a human here, they are dangerous monsters?!” Luna eyes narrowed turning into teal slits for mere moments “Like I am, the ponies consider me a dangerous monster. You have done nothing to convince them otherwise, I gave them years of my life fighting the darkest monsters in this world and they repay me with hatred.” She then stormed into the room “Leave me alone with Sunset, I don’t wish to speak with you till the morning! If you disturb me, I may say something we would both regret!” Celestia was stunned at her sister’s abrasive behaviour, what had her ponies being doing to her sister to cause her to behave like this she didn’t know but she intended to find out. Luna meanwhile had smiled as Sunset was reading a book of the shelf “What are you reading, is that a book on magic?” Sunset nodded as her body glowed with red energy before she teleported across the room. Luna’s jaw dropped in shock “How in two seconds have you learned how to teleport, humans aren’t supposed to be able to do that without years of training?” Sunset rolled her eyes as a red glowing orb materialised “This is my soul, it is powered by determination and I can use it to power magic. In one of these books it mentions such things.” Luna frowned “You’re smart, and quite a devout seeker of knowledge.” Sunset nodded “I taught myself how to read, life has been tough for me. In truth I had decided it wasn’t worth it anymore, a year of keeping myself alive with just my wits alone is exhausting.” Luna frowned “You’re stronger than I, at your age I would have crumbled under the pressure.” Sunset shook her head “It was quite difficult.’ Luna gave Sunset a smile “Enough of that depressing talk, how about we have some. Fun. If you want I can even help you practice some magic.” Sunset gave the her first smile of the day “I’d love that.” Luna levitated a book of the shelf with a smile, the pair spent the rest of they day discussing magic. The next morning Sunset and Luna woke up, Sunset had a shower while Luna cleaned up Sunset’s clothes. Luna smiled as Sunset came out of the bathroom “I will need to get you some new clothes.” Sunset frowned “Are you sure any ponies will clothe me, they seem to hate humans.” Luna frowned “I am a princess remember, they do have to obey my orders by law even if they don’t like me.” Sunset raised an eyebrow “So what’s the agenda for today?” Luna frowned “Some new clothes, for starters.” Sunset nodded as she looked at her blue leather armour “I made bluer with blueberry juice so I would blend in better at night, when I did most of my thievery. It was the only way to get food.” Luna shook her head “You won’t have to do that anymore, speaking of which, I’ll have some food brought to us, I’ll see you in a few minutes.” Sunset closed her eyes as several pillows glowed red as they hovered around her in the air, while her Determination Soul Magic was powerful splitting focus for multiple objects still required effort. A few moments later Luna returned to hear small booms coming from her bedroom, she entered to see that Sunset was sweating bullets as the seven pillows were producing small booms of sound as they passed through the air. Luna frowned “Sunset, slow down.” Sunset opened her eyes as the pillows began to slow in her magic. Luna frowned “Don’t move them too fast, they were creating sonic booms.” Sunset smiled tiredly “Oh.” Luna sighed “When you overuse you magic you will feel tired” she then smiled “luckily our food is infused with magic which means with a bit of food you’ll be back up to speed. Also I informed the chef that you eat meat, he caters to griffons as well.” Sunset smiled weakly “I would like that.” Just then a pale blue unicorn stallion with a dark blue mane and a chef’s hat for a cutie mark entered the room only to drop almost drop the platter he was carrying. Luna frowned “Don’t be alarmed, she has my trust and therefore she should have yours as well.” The stallion took a deep breath and smiled as he placed a plate with a chicken and several vegetables on it “I am Chef, Iron Skillet and…” Both him and Luna watched in shock as the human dove into the food like a rabid beast who hadn’t been fed in months. Author's Note I hope you enjoy the beginning to this Undertale inspired story. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2: Meetings //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2: Meetings Sunset and Luna were walking through the gilded corridors, Sunset grimaced “Who is this royal tailor you want me to meet?” Luna smiled “She is a really nice mare, I can assure you of that. I promise that nothing will go wrong, it’s simply your measurements being taken.” Sunset frowned “I’ve never had anyone make clothes for me, yet alone have them tailor made.” Before Luna could reply, the two had arrived at the room. The two ponies opened the door to see a dark blue unicorn with a dark blue mane, her cutie mark was a pair of fabric scissors. The mare smiled before bowing to Sunset “My name is Fashion Fire, in truth I have been quite eager to meet our resident human. I have been eager to take on the challenge of making her fabulous.” Luna frowned “For now we need daily living clothes, humans were clothes all the time.” Fashion Fire bowed “I understand Princess” she then turned to Sunset “I will need to take your measurements so if it’s not too much trouble may you undress so I can take measurements.” Sunset frowned as she took of her blue leather armour and undergarments, both Luna and Fashion Fire were stunned. Sunset’s body was covered in scars while her muscles hung off her ribs as there wasn’t an inch of fat on them. Luna frowned “Where did you get those scars?” Sunset grimaced “When you have to steal to survive you are going to get hurt, some of them are self-inflicted. Playing dead is difficult if you don’t make it look realistic.” Fashion Fire wrapped the girl in a hug “I’m so sorry!” Sunset stiffened at the contact, her eyes shifting frantically at between every exit. Luna frowned her horn glowing “Fashion Fire, I believe you should let her go.” Fashion Fire stepped back sheepishly, Sunset was caught in Luna’s magic as she tired to bolt from the room like a cornered animal. Luna took a deep breath “Sunset, you’re safe no-one here is going to hurt you. I will keep you safe.” Sunset’s struggles ended after ten minutes of hovering, Fashion Fire slumped as Luna lowered the human to the ground “I’m sorry, I thought you needed a hug and it got out of hand.” Sunset nodded with a weak smile “It’s okay, I’m just really scared of being trapped with no way out. It’s one of the worst things for a thief to be cornered.” Fashion Fire nodded “I’ll take your measurements if that’s okay, I won’t touch if you don’t want me too.” Sunset took a deep breath “It’s fine just don’t hug me, please.” Fashion Fire smiled “Alright, well let’s get measuring.” Luna stepped back as Fashion Fire levitated multiple roll of measuring tape and then proceeded to write down each measurement using a quill and ink. After a few minutes Fashion Fire smiled “Well your measurements are done” she then frowned at Luna “I will need to take more measurements as she approaches a healthy weight, she needs to put on some fat somewhere.” Luna smiled “I’ll take care of that.” Sunset frowned as they left the room “Luna, what now?” Luna shook her head “I have to meet some visitors with my sister. In the meantime you should wander around the castle for a bit without me, maybe you’ll make some friends.” Sunset sighed “Okay, I just hope they’re not scared of me.” Luna smiled “There are some ponies around your age in the castle, I suggest that you meet with them. They should be running around doing something silly.” Sunset nodded with a weak smile “Okay, I’ll try.” Luna gave her a light hug with one hoof allowing her room to move “That’s all I ask.” The two went separate ways, Sunset frowned as she walked through the halls. Several pones were looking at her with disdain or fear, she turned a corner to see a large box with white filly with both wings and a horn as well as a dark green mane, a blue winged filly with a rainbow mane was on her back. A yellow filly with pink mane watched on worried “I’m not sure about this sis?’ The blue filly smiled “It’ll be fine, I just need to get dad’s labcoat for him” she then frowned at the filly below her “Sunshine, come on I just a need a little more oomph to reach it.” Sunshine pushed her higher having to stand on her hind legs, the blue filly was about to grab it when Sunshine slipped. The yellow filly’s left eye glowed rainbow as she caught the two other ponies, she grunted as she lowered the two other ponies to the floor before her rainbow eye turned Sunset “Speaking of which we have someone observing us.” Sunset took a deep breath and walked towards them trying to keep a smile on her face “Hello, I’m Sunset Shimmer. I was just curious what you three were up too.” The yellow filly’s eye turned back to normal with a small smile “I’m Fluttershy, I’m here with my sister Rainbow Dash. My father is working with Princess Celestia, so we are hanging out with Sunshine.’ Rainbow grinned “Our father is awesome, he loves pranks and fun, not to mention the fact he can make objects materialise out of thin air.” Sunshine stepped forward “Shouldn't you inform her about who your father is, she’s a human from the surface remember?’ Fluttershy smiled as she nodded in agreement, she then turned to Sunset “Our father is Dr Discord, the Royal Scientist of the Underground. My father is the one who gave me my powers” she then sighed “unfortunately it makes me to frail to fly.” Sunset smiled “Well it’s a pleasure to meet you, so what were you doing anyway?” Fluttershy levitated the labcoat down, Rainbow grabbed it “We were going to take this to our father, follow me!” Fluttershy and Sunshine sighed as they burst into a gallop with Sunset running close behind, Fluttershy sighed “Why can’t she slow down for two seconds, I can never keep up with her.” Fluttershy squeaked as Sunset picked her up shouting “Well then let’s hurry!” Sunshine raised an eyebrow at the human next to her “How are you carrying her?” Sunset shrugged “Determination is the strongest trait, it passively makes me far stronger than normal.” As soon as they catch up with Rainbow, Sunset’s jaw dropped as she saw Celestia and Luna next to a strange serpentine creature. Fluttershy wriggles out of Sunset’s grip as the pair approach the figure then look back at her “This our father, Dr Discord.” Sunset’s mind couldn’t take the revelation ans she collapsed to the ground. Author's Note I hope this chapter isn't too rushed. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3: Considerations //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3: Considerations Sunset groaned as she woke up in a white medical room to see Luna looking at her fraught with worry “Sunset, are you okay?” Sunset gave Luna a pleading look “Please tell me I was dreaming?” Luna shook her head “No you weren’t, Discord is very real” she sighed “I must admit I was hoping you would avoid meeting him until you were better adjusted to the underground. I don’t know how he copes with how most ponies act around him, many regard him with hostility yet he acts like it doesn’t matter.’ Sunset eyes widened as she turned to the wall to see an odd painting on the wall, she walked over to it and punched it. It turned into a long serpentine creature, Luna growled “Discord I told you to wait outside, why part of that didn‘t you understand!” Discord grinned “Well I’m sorry Lulu but that’s boring, I live for the fun of life. You know me what I’m like Lulu.” He clicked his claws as dancing rainbows entered the room playing kazoos. Sunset began to giggle then burst into laughter at the ridiculous display “Okay I misjudged you, gods I needed that.” Discord grinned as he gave an overly exaggerated bow “Thank you, I live to serve.” Luna facehooved “Sometimes I wonder why we made you the Royal Scientist when you behave like this.” Discord laughed “It’s because I think outside the box dear Lulu, and I can do anything …” he frowned “except break that confounded barrier, it covers all of the underground.” Sunset blinked “But I fell in the mountain, it should have stopped me then.” Luna shook her head “Unfortunately it’s not that simple, the barrier allows things in but doesn’t allow them out again. It takes both a a human soul and a monster soul to go through the barrier and it takes seven human souls to break the barrier.” Sunset cast a small glance down at herself as thoughts were running through her head (I could give somepony my soul and they could get six more souls, they could be free.) Discord frowned “Lulu, I need to talk to you about something serious” as soon as Luna turned to him “he whispered in her ear “I need to do it alone, away from prying ears.” Luna nodded before turning to Sunset with a smile “Go and play with Sunshine, Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash. The three of them have been so worried about you.” Sunset nodded “I will.” Discord teleported the two of them away with a click of his claws. He frowned as they arrived in the interdimensional space he created “So what are you going to with Sunset, she has no family here?” Luna slumped “I don’t know, I have been considering taking her in as my own but I’m not sure if I should. I’m not sure if I can handle taking caring of someone yet, she has a faced greater hardship than I have. I think if it would be best to leave her to her own devices.” Discord grimaced “I’ve seen how you act around her, what if she decides that you are her new mother. I want you to at least consider it, for her sake.” Luna sighed “I understand Discord but I’ll give her some time to settle in first, she needs to adjust to our way of life first. I don’t want her to overburdened by us so soon.” Discord smiled “Well that’s good to know, now I believe we should locate them before they get into trouble.” Luna nodded with a smile “I agree.” The two teleported back into the room and left only to see no sign of the foals, they then heard the sound of screams from outside. They teleported out only to have their eyes widen as several heavily armed ponies wearing dark armour were dead on the ground as another twenty were glaring at a short bipedal figure wearing a black armour with splotches of dark crimson standing in front of Fluttershy, Rainbow and Sunshine pointing their sword at the dark armoured ponies. Earlier Sunset exited the room to see Sunshine, Rainbow and Fluttershy. They all jumped on her “Are you alright?!” Sunset groaned under the weight, she sighed as the ponies got off her “Yes, it’s just I have never seen a being like Dr Discord and I fainted because of that.” Fluttershy smiled “It’s not a problem, a lot of ponies faint at seeing our father.” Rainbow grinned “It was funny when our school teacher fainted at the sight of him.” Sunshine smiled “Come on, let’s go outside. Sunset has seen what life is like in Canterlot proper.” The group headed outside, Sunset looked around in awe as she saw the countless mansions running along perfectly paved streets “I’ve never seen anything like this.” Rainbow grinned “It’s awesome isn’t it!” Fluttershy nodded “Yes but it’s no Snowville that’s for sure, I enjoy the feeling of snow beneath my hooves.” Sunshine slumped “I wish I could come over but mum is too scared. She is worried the ponies in shadow armour will get me.” Before Sunset could say anything they heard screaming “Everypony run, the Corrupted are coming!” Soon twenty five ponies in blackish armour rushed forward carrying dark blades, one cut a pegasus mare in half before jumping on a unicorn stallion severing his head from his body. Sunset began to shake, this was her village all over again. Fluttershy’s eye glowed rainbow as she stood next to Rainbow Dash ready for a fight while Sunshine cowered behind them. One of them shouted as they saw Sunshine “It’s an Alicorn, get her!” One of the Corrupted rushed towards the group only to be cut in half by a red blade, everyone watched in shock as the mares intestines spilled onto the ground. The leader of the group stepped forward “You shouldn't have done that, I Captain Shadow Side servant of the Rightful King Sombra will…” Sunset looked up her eyes and mouth leaking a dark oily substance. Her demonic voice boomed “YoU TRiEd tO hURt mY fRieNDs, i wIlL kIll yOU ALl!” A black suit of full plate armour with splotches of dark crimson formed over her body, her red sword turned black. Shadow Side roared as he ordered four of his guys to attack only for Sunset to dissapear in a flash of speed before the three were cut into pieces. Fluttershy was stunned “How?” Rainbow grinned “I don’t care it’s awesome!” Sunshine turned to Rainbow “She killed those ponies, without a hint of remorse. They are evil but they are still living things.” Fluttershy shook her head “Our father always told me and Rainbow that not everyone can be saved. Sometimes one needs to put down a threat to save others and these ponies are one such threat.” Shadow Side roared “Everypony charge, for our King!” Sunset rushed forward with her sword tearing one stallion’s head off before a mare’s body split in half next to him. Shadow Side tried to block with his shield only for the sheer force to tear his shield in half before removing his right foreleg. The next minute a sword tore into his throat. At that moment Discord turned to Luna with fear in his eyes “She’s scary.” Luna gulped “I know and I have to tell my sister about this. This is going to be bad.” Both shook in fear of what could happen should the two fight. Author's Note I hope you all enjoyed this chapter, I have an idea of where this story is going. I just hope you will like it. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4: Threat //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4: Threat Sunset was in the war room with Celestia, Luna and Discord. Celestia frowned “We brought you here for a reason Sunset.” Discord nodded “Unfortunately our enemy King Sombra has grown bold, to think he would launch an assault on Canterlot like this.” Sunset frowned “Why haven’t you caught him yet how is he a king, he dens;’t rule anything?’ Luna sighed “He proclaimed himself king two centuries ago, he believes I am bound by my sister, he wishes to slay her so we can rule as King and Queen” she then growled “It’s utter nonsense, my sister has not bound me to anything!” Celestia grimaced “He is crafty as well, his small guerilla forces attack us at all different locations. Still even for him this increased boldness is strange, he had no plan of attack…what made him attack us so suddenly, it was unplanned.” Now Sunset was smart, what changed recently. Her eyes widened “He was coming for me, he wanted my soul.” She then frowned as she summoned her red heart shaped soul “He want this badly… hmm.” Luna frowned “That doesn’t explain how we can take him out.” Sunset frowned “Simple, I bait him out. He wants me, so I face him a lone in a duel to the death. If I win it would be all over.” Celestia growled “But if he wins, he could take us all out! It’s too risky, we need to find a safer way!” Luna nodded in agreement. Discord turned to Celestia and Luna with a frown “It’s not as simple as that, we have tried your safer way. I’ve even tried to confront him directly but he eluded me, this is the only option other than more waiting. He has attacked us here in our base of power, if we don’t do something now everyone pony or not will think we are weak.” Sunset growled “I’m doing this whether or not you like it! If you try to stop me the only question is how many bodies there are going to be when I’m done!” Luna stepped in front of her “Don’t make me stop you, I can’t allow…” Sunset slammed her fist into Luna’s jaw sending her into the wall before collapsing to the floor with a thud. Celestia growled as her horn glowed “How dare you attack my sister!” Sunset soul returned to her body as a red plate armour formed on her body from head to toe. She summoned a red sword in her hand “I like Luna, she’s my friend that’s why she’s unconscious against the wall instead of impaled with a blade. You on the other hand are not in the same boat, so stand aside before things get violent. I’d rather not explain to Luna and Sunshine why I killed you.” Celestia growled “You wouldn’t dare!” Sunset let out a dark laugh “You forget one thing. I’m evil, and you’re in my way. Killing you will be just another life compared to the thousands I’ve killed. So stand down!” Discord clicked his claws pulling Celestia out of the way of the determined human “Go, I’ll keep these two occupied.” Sunset stormed out the castle her armour darkening this time turning completely as her sword turned black. Ponies looked at the girl who was on a mission, Sunset moved through the fine streets of Canterlot ended up on a dirt road heading out of town. She read a sing, one such sign read ‘Everglade Forest.’ Sunset headed towards the forest, she entered the forest and took a seat on a stump as she waited. A few minutes later a stallion with a dark grey coat approached his red irises were surrounded by green sclera as dark purple mist emitted from his eyes, Sunset grinned “I figured you would come out here if I waited long enough, Sombra.” Sombra frowned “I’m assuming this is a trap, the Princesses are going to jump out and ambush me then or maybe that strange chaotic creature. He is far more powerful than both of them.” Sunset raised an eyebrow “I didn’t know how powerful Discord was..” she then shrugged “I assume Luna is still unconscious and Discord is keeping both of them from doing anything. This is between you and me, today we decide the future.” Sombra grinned “I like your style, so let’s end this” He summoned a pitch black blade of his own and rushed at Sunset. Sunset’s blade met his the two grinning at each other as they tried to push the other away, Sombra pushed hard “I will not lose to a goody two shoes like you.” Sunset roared sending him flying with a fierce push of her own blade “I have killed so many humans on the surface, you have no idea just who you’re dealing with! I’m evil damn it, I kill with no remorse no pity!” Sombra leapt back sending a wave of dark crystals at her only for a single swing of Sunset’s sword to tear them to shreds. Sombra growled “I won’t lose, here I can’t! It is my right to rule this land with Princess Luna at my side!” Hundreds of dark crystals formed in the air, he roared “Give me your soul!” He grinned as the crystals flew forward tearing the tress around them apart. A huge amount of dust had formed around the area, his eyes widened as the dust cleared. A huge dark barrier was sitting there, then several dark tendril grabbed Sombra. Sunset then stepped out as a small opening in the dark barrier. Sombra growled “Let me go!” Sunset shrugged “No, I’m going to kill you now.” Sombra let out a scream of pain as the shadow tore him into several pieces. Sunset then obliterated the piece with a dark red blast. Meanwhile in the castle Discord had Celestia bound and gagged in the corner, Luna groaned as she got to her hooves. She then looked around in a panic “Where’s Sunset?!” She then blinked “Also why is my sister bound in the corner?” Discord frowned “Well the second question is simple, Sunset is evil. She threatened to kill her, as for your first well Sombra’s dark magic signature is gone but Sunset’s is pulsating stronger than ever.” Luna’s jaw dropped “That’s impossible, she shouldn’t have been able to beat Sombra!” Sunset entered the room with a grin “Says who?” Sunset revelled in the shocked expressions of everypony in the room. Author's Note So here's a question, where do you think Sunset fits in alignment neutral evil, or lawful evil? //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 5: Discussion //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 5: Discussion Luna frowned as she and Sunset were walking through the hallways of the castle, Luna grimaced “Sunset, you threatened my sister’s life! Why?” Sunset growled “Because I’m evil, I kill anyone who gets in my way! You were lucky that I liked you!” Luna frowned “That isn’t a good answer, no-one is just evil.” Sunset roared “Of course none is just fucking evil, my parents dies and I had to steal to live! I killed so many people and I have no remorse or pity for doing so, you failed to beat Sombra because you were good and he was evil! Sometime you need to be evil to beat evil!” Luna took a deep breath “You’ve helped us a lot, I wouldn’t consider that evil.” Sunset frowned “You don’t understand evil very well do you, I am evil but being evil doesn’t mean you don’t form bonds with others. Evil does not mean cruel, I like you, I like Fluttershy, I like Rainbow Dash, I like Discord, I like Sunshine and yes even Celestia to an extent but I hated Sombra so I killed him, I hate humans so I’ve killed so many of them. Being evil simply means two thing you have no mercy for those you hate, and you have no mercy for those foolish enough to get in you way.” Luna nodded “That’s a very different view from the way my sister and I see things.” Sunset shrugged “Well it’s a better definition than it just being the idea of doing bad things. That is too generalised for what being evil means.” Luna raised an eyebrow “You have thought a lot on this concept for a child of only five years.” Sunset grimaced “I watched my parents die, I have killed a lot of people. Humans are harsher than ponies and if you want to survive at my age alone you have to throw away a lot just to get by.” Luna frowned “Like the innocence every child has?” Sunset frowned “That is the first thing to go, not that it matters. Most children lose that very quickly, if they don’t then they are fools forever doomed to be used by others.” Luna sighed “I am never going understand your thought process, you are just too jaded.” Sunset gave her a weak smile “Pray that you never do, I am not a good role model for anyone to follow. I am what happens when you take all the positivity out of an individual, a being with no remorse or pity for the harm they cause. One who understands me is either like me or something far worse.” Luna shook her head not wanting to continue that branch of conversation “We should pick up those clothes that Fashion Fire has made for you.” Sunset nodded quietly as the two headed towards the fashion pony’s room. As soon as they entered the room, Fashion Fire smiled “Welcome, I’ve made several copies of the clothes that would best suit Sunset here” she smiled at Sunset “Try one on.” Sunset nodded as she saw the bright green and white horizontal striped shirt as well as a pair of dark red pants and shoes. She took of her leather, she then put on the shirt and pants. She grinned as she looked over herself “I like this, certainly more fitting then my armour.” Fashion Fire giggled “Well red and green suits your colours better than blue” she smiled “I heard what you did, you have saved a lot of ponies and you have been here for a few days. You are a hero.” Sunset good mood evaporated, she growled “I’m no hero damn it! Anyone who thinks I’m a hero doesn’t know me!” Fashion Fire slumped as Sunset stormed out of the room, she pushed the doors so hard that she sent them flying through the hallway before they embedded themselves in the roof. Fashion Fire cast a fearful look at Luna “Did I say something wrong? I didn’t mean too, most ponies would think being a hero is a fantastic thing.” Luna frowned “Sunset is no hero, she does wish to be thought of us such. In fact in her own opinion she is an evil being, one who is not afraid to kill all who get in her way.” Fashion Fire blinked “She doesn’t seem evil to me, she seems quite kind.” Luna sighed “Evil is not a simple thing, I will never understand but she is not a paragon of justice. She is evil just not in the way you or I see it, that is what makes her different from all others. She has a unique view on the world that many wouldn’t try to understand and even if they did they wouldn’t be able to.” She then took a deep breath “Fashion Fire, I believe you should continue making Sunset more clothes, ones for when she starts putting on a healthy amount of weight and gaining some height. I need to get to her before she does something dra…” She sighed as a huge explosion went off on the other side of the castle, Fashion Fire commented “I think it’s too late for that.” Luna deadpanned “I think I figured that out, now if you excuse me I have to fix this mess before it could get any worse.” She heard her sister scream out in pain all across the castle as Sunset distorted voice echoed through out the castle “YoU StUPiD sUn lOVinG BiTCh, wHy cAN’t yOU lEaVe mE aLoNE” Luna flew out of the room rapidly as Celestia roared “You blew a hole in the castle!” Luna flew faster trying to get there before Sunset decided to follow up on her previous threat as Sunset began speaking in an even more distorted voice “sO wHAt iF I dId? tHeRe Is NoTHiNg YOu CAn dO AbOUt iT!” Luna arrived at the damaged part of the castle to see Sunset holding Celestia by the neck tightening her grip. Luna frowned "Sunset, let my sister go.” Sunset threw Celestia into a nearby mountain causing it to explode. Luna sighed “I think it’s time to take you to your new bedroom. Once you're settled in I’ll handle my sister.” Luna sighed wondering why she put so much effort into this. Author's Note Sunset gets violent when she is pissed as you all know by now I hope. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 7: The Eighth Human //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 7: The Eighth Human Sunset groaned as she looked at the bookshelves around her in the void space “I have read all of these books a hundred bloody times. Discord you better have not been lying to…” Sunset gasped as she was pulled out of the void, she was floating over a strange set of golden flowers the spiritual form of her body glowing red around a soul with a hint of determination left in it as a white soul rested safely inside. Sunset frowned as she saw a purple skinned human wearing glasses laying on the same golden flowers she fell on when she first arrived in the ruins, her tricoloured hair of sapphire blue, moderate violet and brilliant rose that was tied into a ponytail. She was wearing a light blue shirt with a circuit board on it as well as a pair of dark blue jeans, Sunset tried to kick the girl to wake her up “Get up you stupid human!” Sunset’s leg actually passed through the girl, Sunset grimaced “Shit, this form can’t touch anything and even worse she can’t hear me!” The girl groaned as she awoke “Where am I?” She grimaced as she looked down at a small disk which was glowing “I designed you to detect magic, so why are we in a deep ditch in a random mountain.” Sunset rolled her eyes at the human “Oh magic’s down here alright. Your stupid little gizmo is not lying to you.” The girl stumbled to her feet and walked into the next room. Sunset frowned as she was pulled along by the human girl only for a lone purple flower to be sitting in the middle of an empty green patch. The girl approached the flower until the flower turned around, Sunset raised an eyebrow “I’ve never seen a living flower before.” The girl jumped back “What are you?” The flower smiled as the girl’s red determination soul ended up in a black box with a white outline, her HP reading 20/20 as her LV read 1, Sunset facepalmed “Are you really that naive?! Even I with no soul experience I knew how to keep my soul out of a battle box!” The flower then summoned a small petal as it bobbed up and down “My name is Lily, and these are friendliness pellets. They gift you with the power of friendliness.” Sunset sighed as the girl’s soul approached the petal “How are you this naive?” The girl screamed as her HP dropped to 1/20. Lily’s face turned dark as she laughed madly “There is only one rule in the underground, Kill or Be Killed!” Several more petals formed around slowly approaching the girl’s soul until suddenly they vanished before a blast of blue magic sent the purple flower flying away. Soon as almost pitch black pony with teal slitted eyes smiled at the girl “My name is Nightmare Moon, Guardian of the Ruins.” The girl backed away from the figure as she saw the fangs, Sunset eyes widened as she recognised the kindness of the mare in front of them. She began to sob ”I’m sorry Luna, you’re like this because of me.” Nightmare Moon smiled “I won’t hurt you I promise.” The girl approached her timidly “Um, my name is Twilight Sparkle.” Sunset’s sobbing began to lessen as Nightmare Moon escorted Twilight through the ruins over various traps by carrying the human on her back while making sure none of the Thestrals got any ideas. Sunset blinked as they approached a dummy “What now?” Nightmare Moon as if hearing Sunset’s question smiled “I’m teaching you how to handle encounters. If you show ponies you mean them no harm, they will leave you alone. Try it on this dummy.” Twilight looks around in confusion as her soul appears in a battle box, four icons next to her HP and LV. Attack, Act, Item and Mercy, she raised an eyebrow as she noticed her red soul rested on the attack button. She moved it over to the act command and when she forced her will into the command a few commands came up. Sunset rolled her eyes as Twilight talked to the dummy, soon Twilight spared the dummy. Twilight smiled at Nightmare Moon excitedly “I did it.” Nightmare Moon nodded with a warm smile “You did, now I have something to give you” she levitated a small phone into the girl’s hands “Contact me if you need to.” They enter a small hallway when Luna smiles “I have to go on ahead and set up something. I need you to stay here.” Twilight frowned as she sat there for twenty minutes with no one coming, Sunset grimaced “Are we just going to sit here all day?” Twilight sighed as she got up “I might as well go ahead, I’m getting bored of sitting here.” After sparing several thestrals and completing various puzzles she arrived at Nightmare Moon’s home. Sunset frowned “I don’t remember there being that many puzzles here.” Twilight picked up her phone as she received a call “Twilight, I’m coming to meet with you….” Twilight walked over to her with a smile. Nightmare Moon sighed “I told you to wait for me.” She shook her head and smiled “I’ll discuss that later, for now let me show you to the room I set up for you.” Twilight nods with a smile as she she entered the house, the walls were made of painted dark blue wood. Twilight was guided through a hallway into a plain room with a simple bed, Twilight got on the bed and quickly descended into slumber. Sunset meanwhile explored the small building, simple paintings of flowers were on the walls. She saw Nightmare Moon sobbing on a chair, Sunset flew over to see her looking at a picture of herself, Sunset, Celestia and Sunshine smiling. Nightmare Moon tried to dry her tears “I should have adopt you sooner, Sunset I would have been proud to call you my daughter.” Sunset smiled as drops of soul energy hit the floor “I would have been happy to call you mum, but I was foolish. I believed I could fix everything but it was dumb and it failed.” Sunset hung around with Nightmare Moon for the next couple of hours watching as she made some pie in a small kitchen with a simple stove as well as a few benchtops. Soon she felt Twilight wake up and floated over to the human her soul was bound to. Twilight left the room with a single question on her mind, she had a family on the surface and she longed to return home. She approached Nightmare Moon “Where is the exit to the ruins?” Nightmare Moon stiffened slightly before standing up and headed in a direction “I have to do something, stay here.” Twilight followed shortly after Nightmare Moon, soon she found Nightmare Moon in the basement in front of a door. Nightmare Moon frowned “I’m going to destroy the exit to the ruins, so you will stay with me safe in the Ruins. If you wish to leave then show me your strength.” Twilight dodged as several beams of magic, she kept pressing the spare button as she dodged more and more attacks. Nightmare Moon frowned after the fifth time “What are you doing?” The Alicorn frowned as the child kept sparing them “Fight me or Leave!” Sunset watched on in awe as Twilight would not be deterred, Nightmare Moon’s slumped as her attacks dissipated “I’m pathetic aren’t I, I can’t even save a single child.” Twilight gave her a hug “No you’re not” she then smiled as she headed through the door “We may never meet again but I will always remember you.” Sunset looked sadly as they left Nightmare Moon sobbing behind the door. They frowned as Lily stood there in the centre of an open area “You think you are better than me because you just spared one pony. That attitude will get you killed, I assure you.” The pair scowled as they exited. They then stormed past by a sleeping yellow pegasus with a pink mane unaware of what awaited them in the future. Sunset smiled “Fluttershy.” Much to Sunset’s shock Fluttershy winked at her before smiling at Twilight “My name is Fluttershy, I live in Snowville up ahead. I was just resting a little bit after I met up with a friend.” Twilight rubbed the back of her head “Um, how am I supposed to leave the Underground?” Fluttershy frowned “Well you need a monster’s soul as well as you own to leave…” she then shook her head “For now you should head through Snowville, also note my sister Rainbow Dash really wants to catch a human so she can become a Wonderbolt under their Captain, Spitfire.” Fluttershy sighed “We both knew a human once, she was a good friend gave up her life to free us all from the Underground. Rainbow deep down misses her a lot as do I.” Sunset began to cry “I’m so sorry.” Fluttershy smiled (It’s Alright) Sunset blinked “How can you send me telepathic messages?” Fluttershy giggled to the confusion of Twilight (It’s what you’re doing right now, you don’t seem to have noticed you mouth isn’t moving.) Sunset blinked as she moved her hand over her mouth and frowned (Okay) she then sighed (It seems you’re right.) Twilight blinked “What were you giggling about?” Fluttershy smiled “It’s an in joke between me and a friend. Besides I never caught your name.” Twilight giggled “My name is Twilight.” Fluttershy smiled “Well Twilight it’s time to meet my sister, come on.” The two headed past several trees across the snow covered path. They entered a clearing with a small looking wooden building, before either of them could say anything a well muscled blue pegasus with a rainbow mane, a rainbow bolt striking a cloud flew into the clearing at rapid speed. She boasted “Behold, the fastest flyer in the Underground, Rainbow Danger Dash!” Fluttershy smiled as she poked Twilight “Look why I found.” Rainbow grinned “A HUMAN! I’ll go and set up the traps.” Twilight gulped as the Rainbow pegasus flew off, Sunset rolled her eyes as Fluttershy smiled “Rainbow’s not a very good thinker, her traps are ineffective and don’t actually work properly. I never told her because she put so much effort into making them.” Twilight eyes widened “What if we get into a fight?” Fluttershy giggled “Rainbow is fast and strong but choreographs her attacks in such an obvious way that even a snail could avoid it.” Sunset facepalmed “Why am I not surprised?” Twilight wiped her brow “I was worried.” Fluttershy smiled “I trust you can make your way to my sister on your own, I’ll mind my post.” Sunset waved goodbye as Twilight smiled “Don’t worry, I’ll have fun with your sister.” Fluttershy waved at the both of them “Keep her in line for me.” Twilight nodded as headed through the snow only to find a strange field of snow with Rainbow floating behind it. She grinned “If you step on the wrong tile, you will get zapped. Now you just need to hold this ball.” Twilight watched closely as Rainbow flew over a very specific pattern and gave her the ball. Twilight smirked as she followed the same path Rainbow Dash did but in reverse, Sunset raised an eyebrow at Twilight “That was impressive, still that doesn't mean I like you human.” Rainbow Dash cursed “Shit, that puzzle took me weeks to make!” Rainbow then flew off, Twilight headed on through the snowy plains to complete a plain snow ball pushing puzzle with ease. Sunset facepalmed as she saw a simple crossword puzzle laid on the floor “Really Dash?” Twilight shrugged as she completed the Crossword, Twilight then heads further through the area with a smile as she passes by a few ponies. Twilight approached a bridge and her eyes widened as she saw Fluttershy standing next to Rainbow Dash. Fluttershy raised an eyebrow as she saw the huge array of weapons being on either side of the bridge “Isn’t this overkill?” Rainbow exclaimed “Nonsense, Spitfire has informed me that there is no such thing as overkill.” Fluttershy sighed before she looked at Sunset (Do you know Rainbow has never encountered a human other than you before? Do you know why?) Sunset raised an eyebrow (No?) Fluttershy grimaced (I have already killed six humans and gave their souls to Asgore, the mare I talked to is Luna. She wants me to keep Twilight safe if I can, that combined with the fact you’re here with her is enough reason for me to spare her.) Sunset then frowned as all the weapons accidently fell down into the Chasm, Rainbow groaned “Darn it I pressed the wrong button!” Twilight headed into town smiling at Fluttershy as she past. She looked up to see a huge sign read Snowville at the front of the town, she walked through the town with a smile. Ponies looked at her for a few seconds in confusion she waved at them and realising she wasn’t a threat the ponies waved back before they went about their daily business. Sunset smiled as she flew behind Twilight “Well, it seems Fluttershy has a good job keeping the peace here.” Twilight headed towards edge of town passing the several building, she raised an eyebrow as she saw a dark brown building with a glowing neon sign that read Gilda’s Bakery. She headed towards the exit of the town only to see Rainbow Dash there, Rainbow exclaimed “I will capture you human, here and now!” Twilight tensed as her soul was drawn into a battle box, just as Rainbow is about to charge Twilight sees a rainbow flash at the top of the battle box and moves out of the just before Rainbow rushed through were she stood. Then Rainbow growled “You won’t dodge this one!” Rainbow gets angry as Twilight dodges each rush, Rainbow begins to tire eventually landing on the ground. Twilight holds a hand out with a smile, Rainbow looks up with a sigh “You’re really good, I’ve never met anypony other than Spitfire that dodge my full speed attacks.’ Twilight smiled “Thanks well I have to go.” Rainbow shouted “Wait, do you mind hanging around with me today?”She then flew over “I can show you some tricks I have come up with.” Twilight rubbed “Um, sure I guess.” Sunset grinned “We’re in for a treat, I bet. Rainbow always was one to push herself.” They watched as Rainbow Dash accelerated into the air, she begun rotating in a circle motion rainbow beams of light flying in every direction. Twilight’s eyes widened as the Rainbow pegasus mare flew up as fast as she could before a mach cone began to form. Suddenly a rainbow burst exploded outward, Rainbow turned used that momentum spinning around faster and faster creating a tornado that changed began flashing with rainbows before sending out a rainbow explosion. Twilight cheered “That was amazing!” Sunset grinned “Indeed, that mare never ceases to amaze.” Rainbow landed with a grin “I am awesome!” Twilight laughed “Awesome doesn’t do you justice, you are more than awesome!” Rainbow blushed slightly “Thanks, um just so you know Spitfire is in the Water Fields ahead and she will not be merciful so be careful.” Twilight nodded with a smile “I will, see you Rainbow.” Rainbow smiled “You have a phone right?” Twilight nodded as she held out her phone, Rainbow pulled out her own phone with her wing. They traded numbers. Sunset and Twilight waved goodbye to Rainbow who did the same with wing, the two groups separated one headed back into Snowville while the other two headed into the Water Fields. Author's Note Spitfire is coming next, may even include the meeting with Moondancer. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 9: Onward //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 9: Onward Sunset looked around with a smile as they walked past only to see a simple guard station with Fluttershy standing behind it. Fluttershy smiled “I have to applaud you, my sister hasn’t been that happy in centuries.’ Twilight blinked “Centuries?” Fluttershy nodded with a smile “Ponies don’t expire unless they are killed or have foals which allows them to grow old. Alicorns however like the Princesses live forever.” Sunset frowned “That makes sense.” Twilight smiled “Thanks for answering my question.” Fluttershy gave them a warm smile “Mind hanging around with me at Gilda’s?” Twilight and Sunset both nodded with smiles on their faces, Fluttershy grinned “I know a shortcut.” The whole group was reeled as they were teleported into an empty light brown room with a brown and white griffon polishing the case full of pastries. Fluttershy grinned at the griffon “Can we have a plater of pastries, Gilda?” Gilda smiled “I’ll put it on your tab.” As Gilda was putting some pastries on a platter Fluttershy frowned “There is actually something I wish to ask?” Twilight frowned as Sunset looked on intently “Go on.” Fluttershy sighed “Rainbow informed me that she has been talking to a flower, I’m worried somepony’s tricking her with an Echo Flower.” Twilight frowned “Well I have encountered a flower by the name of Lily, she is definitely the manipulative type.” Fluttershy grimaced before she turned to Gilda. Gilda nodded as she left the room which knowing that the current matter was private. Fluttershy grimaced “I know of Lily, I’m sure you are aware of the ability to reset?” Sunset and Twilight raised an eyebrow in unison “No.” Fluttershy frowned “You can use the power of Determination to save at glowing yellow lights. Lily once possessed this power but I kept her in line, you have far greater Determination as a human. If you die you can come back as many times a necessary.” The two humans nodded as they slowly ate with pastries with Fluttershy. Fluttershy then returned them to the Water Plains. Fluttershy pointed to a glowing light “You really should save.” Twilight saved with a smile before Twilight and Sunset waved goodbye to Fluttershy as they headed into the Water Plains Proper. They moved through the Water Plains with ease until they bumped into an orange pegasus filly with a magenta mane “I can’t wait to meet Spitfire, she is here to capture a human that has entered the Underground. We should meet her.” Twilight shook her head with a nervous smile “I have other things to do, I’m sorry.” The filly smiled “Well my name is Scootaloo, what’s yours?” Twilight smiled “Twilight.” Scootaloo cheered “I’ll see you again Twilight.” Sunset smiled “She’s a cute filly” she then turned to Twilight “You know, you don’t seem too bad for a human.” Soon they continued on until they ended up on a bridge were they saw a pegasus wearing heavy golden armour flying over them carrying green spears. Twilight’s eyes widened as she began running from the barrage of spears raining down on her. Sunset drew on some of Twilight’s determination deflecting some of the spears with red shields. Twilight soon hid in some grass where she couldn’t be seen, the Pegasus grumbled as she flew away. Soon the pegasus leaves allowing Twilight too move on, she saves as headed past a river soon three alluring voices filled the air as they sing in unison. Three fish-like equine creatures with red gems on their chests were singing, one was purple, one was gold and the third was blue. As Sunset and Twilight arrived at the end the song finished, the gold siren gave them a seductive smile “I’m Adagio Dazzle, leader of the Sirens.” Twilight smiled as Sunset blushed “I’m Twilight Sparkle, it’s pleasure to meet you three.” The purple siren folded her hooves “My name is Aris Blaze and don’t you forget it!” The blue one cheered “I’m Sonata, we are going to have so much fun together.” Adagio shook her head “Captain Spitfire is clearly after her, she can’t stick around here for her own safety” She then smiled “Wish you luck, Twilight.” Twilight smiled as she waved “I’ll see you again later.” The three sirens waved back, Sunset frowned “I never met Sirens before. Hmm there are quite a few interesting creatures down here.” After getting past a few puzzles they bump into Scootaloo in a rainy area. Twilight picks an umbrella up from a nearby statue and smiled “Come on.” Soon they arrived at a cliff, Twilight blinked “How are we supposed to get up there?” Scootaloo moved in front of her “Jump on my back and climb up.” Twilight jumped on Scootaloo's back and pulled herself up. Scootaloo sighed as she looked up at Twilight “I can’t fly yet so I’ll find another way round.” Twilight waved to him before she turned around and walked along the path to end up on bridge were the pegasus started attacking her with spears again. The pegasus backed her into a corner at the edge of the bridge, the pegasus growled “I am Captain Spitfire, Leader of the Wonderbolts. I will retrieve your soul for the glory of Princess Celestia.” Sunset nodded “I see, that’s why this is all happening. After the loss of Sunshine Celestia has devoted herself to the cause I started.” Twilight growled “I’m not giving up my soul.” Spitfire grinned “There is nowhere to run or to hide.” Twilight looked at her and the darkness, Twilight grinned as she leapt off the bridge. Spitfire flew over to the edge “Gutsy bitch, I like her.” Spitfire flew off, Twilight groaned “Where am I?” She sighed as she saw garbage everywhere. Sunset frowned as well, Twilight headed through the garbage dump and after a small altercation with a dummy she left the Garbage Dump. Twilight see Scootaloo dangling off the edge of a bridge, Twilight runs over and pulls her up. Spitfire flies over with a sigh “I know we’re enemies but I thank you for saving her.” Sunset smiled “You are a good person, I may have to rethink my thoughts on humanity.” The two finally arrived at the end of the path only for Spitfire to start attacking them, Sunset started using determination based attacks to slow the armoured pegasus down. Twilight grimaced as Rainbow’s voice came through her phone “I was hoping that maybe you, me and Spitfire.” Sunset rolled her eyes as a giant red bat sent Spitfire flying “Rainbow now is not the time.” Twilight grimaced as she picked up the phone “Rainbow, maybe we can do that later when Spitfire is not trying to kill me. I’ll call you later to organise it.” Twilight hung up as she ran through, soon they ended up in a place full of lava. Sunset frowned “This is the Lava Cistern, one of Discord’ books told me about it. It’s the home of the Core.” Spitfire as she began to fly after them only to collapse as her armour began to heat up, she took of her armour as she collapsed to the floor revealing her fiery orange mane and yellow coat with a fiery cutie mark. Twilight then saw the dehydrated mare, she then got some water and poured it on her. Spitfire and Sunset asked a similar question “Why did you save her/me?!” Twilight smiled “It’s the right thing to do. Also Rainbow wants the two of us to hang out with her.” Spitfire smiled “I think I can do that, the fact you helped me after I tried to kill you makes you a very cool human.” Fluttershy smiled at them “I’ll take you two to our place to hang out with Rainbow.” Twilight and Spitfire closed their eyes as they were teleported away. Twilight and Sunset opened their eyes to see they were in a simple brown living room, Rainbow was laying on a couch watching a small TV in the room. Twilight grinned “Hello Rainbow Dash.” Sunset laughed as Rainbow rushed over with sparkles in her eyes “You’re both here!” Spitfire smiled “Of course I am, now let’s watch some Anime! I’m sure you have some Anime here right?” Fluttershy smiled “We have several old Dragon Ball Z episodes as well as One Piece and Naruto.” The group sat down as Sunset blinked in confusion “What’s Anime?” She would soon find out as the group spent the rest of the day watching Anime. They split ways after saying goodbye, Fluttershy staying at her post while Spitfire and Twilight headed in opposite directions, Spitfire heading home while Twilight headed deeper into the Lava Cistern. Sunset frowned as they approached a huge white building with a huge sign reading Lab “I don’t remember there being a lab in the Cistern.” Twilight entered to see a unicorn a really pale yellow mare with a mane of amaranth, violet and purple. She was also wearing a pair of glasses and a labcoat, Twilight smiled as she waved “Hello.” The mare jumped, before nervously looking at the human “Um, hello.” Sunset raised an eyebrow “She is certainly twitchy.” Twilight smiled as she held out a hand “My name is Twilight, I understand you’re nervous. I struggled to make friends on the surface, heck I spent most of my spare time tinkering with machines.” Moondancer smiled nervously “Well um where are you heading?” Twilight frowned “I’m heading to barrier, it’s the only way out of the Underground.” Moondancer sighed “Well you’ll have to go through the Glamour Resort. A mare by the name of Rarity is the star there, you will have to face her to go through. Due to an accident a while ago she has been mechanically enhanced while I had to build a completely new body for her sister, Sweetie Belle.” Just then a white robotic filly with a greyish mulberry mane that has light greyish rose streaks running through it. Moondancer turned around with a smile “Sweetie Belle, what can I help you with.” Sweetie Belle smiled innocently “I want to cook something and I was hoping somepony will help me.” Moondancer froze in horror, Twilight on the other hand smiled “I may not be a pony but I can help you.” As Sweetie Belle bounced up and down exictedly, Sunset turned to see Moondancer shaking as she looked at the two of them “Why is she…” Sunset was pulled as the little filly grabbed Twilight’s hand and pulled her along rapidly. Soon they were in front of a kitchen with several ingredients. The pair were quietly chopping carrots, things went badly as soon as Sweetie Belle turned on the oven. It started spiting fire in every direction, Twilight yelped as part of the fire leapt onto her. Sweetie Belle ran around in a panic “What do I do?!” Twilight grimaced as she dodged the fire before turning the oven off, shortly afterwards the fire dissipated. Sweetie Belle gave her a sad look “I’m sorry.” Twilight gave her a hug with a smile “It’s okay, can you show me to the Core.” Sweetie Belle smiled “Sure.” Sunset smiled as she floated behind Twilight who followed Sweetie Belle all they way to a large building. She then saw a white unicorn with mechanical legs frantically gallop over to them her beautiful purple mane flowing in the wind “Sweetie Belle, where were you?!” Sweetie Belle slumped “I went to ask Moondancer if she could help em cook something..” she then chirped “she didn’t but this human helped.” Rarity sighed “I love you Sweetie Belle but I specifically told you that you’re not allowed near a kitchen without me present. You almost burned down the entire building” She then sighed “The building was not my concerned but there are hundred of ponies who would have been hurt, look the human with is burned.” Sweetie Belle sighed “I’m sorry, I was going to show her the way through the core as an apology.” Rarity smiled “Don’t worry, I’ll guide her through the Core.” She then turned to Sweetie Belle “Can you go and rearrange my schedule for me.” Sweetie Belle nodded with a grin “Will do sis.” Rarity then beckoned Twilight to follow her, Rarity smiled “I’m grateful for what you did for Sweetie Belle. I’m often busy so I don’t get a lot of time to spend with my sister.” Twilight smiled “You’re welcome.” Soon they had passed through a stage, Rarity smiled “This is where I perform. Along this path is the way to the castle, the barrier is is beyond there. Head through whenever you’re ready.” Twilight about to go through when she got a call from Spitfire “I need you deliver a letter to Moondancer if that possible.” Twilight smiled “I can do that, I’ll be on my way.” Twilight backtracked through the Lava Cistern smiling at the ponies in the area. The guards even let her pass, she then headed through the Water Plains back into Snowville, she saw Spitfire holding a letter.” Spitfire smiled as she gave her the letter “This is important, so please make sure it gets there safely.” Twilight grinned “Will do.” Twilight rushed back to the lab only to see the door was closed. She slipped the letter under the door. She heard the sound of an individual moving, before the sound of banging and crashing. Sunset blinked “What did Spitfire use to make that envelope?” Twilight was thinking the same thing. Soon they heard Moondancer’s voice “Um who’s there.” Twilight frowned “It’s me, I delivered the letter from Spitfire” she then smiled “so what was the letter about?” Moondancer mumbled “She asked me on a date.” Twilight smiled “Then go with her, I know you’re nervous but she is asking for you. I suggest watching Anime with her. It’s something she likes doing.” Moondancer smiled “Yes, I introduced her to Anime I got show some of the new Anime I’ve gathered.” Twilight smiled “I’d love to stay but I have to continue on.” Moondancer smiled “That’s fine, I have to get ready for my date.” Sunset and Twilight nodded, they arrived at the Core and passed by the stage only to arrive in the Capital of the Underground. Sunset sighed “I hope she can overcome Celestia. Sunset frowned “It’s been a while, a lot has changed in one thousand years.” Countless massive buildings that towered over the streets below replaced the simple homes that had been all over the city, thousands of ponies were in the city were before there had only been hundreds one thousand years prior. As soon as they arrived the castle, the guards let them in. They entered a golden hallway only to see Fluttershy standing there, the mare observed Twilight for a few second before smiling “I was checking you for LV and EXP, LV stand for Level of Violence and EXP stands for Execution Points. It increases as you kill but you haven’t killed anyone in the Underground, I wish you luck.” The two nodded as they continued onward Sunset frowned as they entered a room to see Celestia in full battle armour sighing “You know what I must do, with your soul I can break the barrier.” Twilight nodded “I understand, this is the final confrontation before I leave.” Sunset frowned as she looked at Twilight “I’m with you.” Soon the two entered a black room with the barrier. Celestia pressed a button summing seven container, six full with one empty. Twilight frowned as her soul was drawn into a battle box. Twilight looked at the four option she had, then Celestia destroyed the spare and act commands “You must defeat me human.” Celestia drew her sword and swung it at the human only for a red barrier to knock her off guard. Twilight blinked for a few seconds before leaping at the Alicorn punching her in the muzzle. Celestia recovered swinging her sword only for a red hammer to send the Alicorn to the ground, Sunset grimaced “I’m sorry Celestia but I can’t let you do this.” After Twilight and Sunset’s attacks connected a few more times Celestia was bleeding on the ground “Take my soul and leave.” Sunset’s eyes widened Twilight shook her head “I won’t do that, my freedom is not worth your life.” Before Celestia could say anything several petals struck Celestia and she dissolved into magic. Lilly grinned at them as she summoned the souls “You’ve done me a huge favour.” Lily then absorbs the human souls as she cackled madly, Twilight and Sunset ended up in a strange area. Their eyes widened as they saw a huge purple plant with a screen with a terrifying face, it was surrounded by six pipes with a huge mouth at the front and two eyes in between the two middle pipes. Sunset looked at the creature “Twilight can’t beat this and my support won’t be enough…” she then grinned “I got it.” Sunset’s spirit and soul flew into Twilight’s body. ‘Twilight’ grinned as she balanced a red glowing knife her eyes glowing red “Come on then Lily, let’s fight!” Lily slammed one of her massive vine like arms down only for ‘Twilight’ to telported out of the way “How did you dodge it?!” ‘Twilight’ giggled “Do you really think I’ll tell you.” Lily watched in shock as her body glowed red and was thrown into the air before getting impaled by several blades. Lily growled as she reloaded another file. Lily then fired a huge barrage of missiles ‘Twilight’ grinned as she clicked her fingers as a large powerful dragon skull with red glowing eyes protected her. Lily growled “A Harmony Blaster, like the ones the flightless pegasus uses!” Lily screamed as the blasts from ten Harmony Blasters obliterated her, she continued again firing a flame-thrower across the field. ‘Twilight’ grinned “Right that’s enough of playing around.” ‘Twilight pulled all six souls out of Lily and then Lily reverted to her normal form. ‘Twilight’ grinned “As much as I would like to torch you right now, I believe it should up to Twilight what happens to you.” Lily blinked in confusion as Twilight stumbled while Sunset left her body before seeing the flower, Lily frowned “Get it over with.” Twilight shook her head “Whoever was in control of my body does not dictate my actions. I’m going to let you go with a warning.” Lily blinked “Even after all I’ve done, you’re willing to spare me.” Twilight nodded with a smile, Lily sighed “If you want to have a true happy ending, visit your friend Moondancer she has something you need to see.” Twilight smiled “Thanks Lily.” Lily looked at herself with a smile “Maybe I can be myself again.” Author's Note Next Chapter will end the Pacifist Route. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 12: True Pacifist //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 12: True Pacifist The two appeared at a save file that Twilight had created before facing Celestia, she frowned as she ran back towards the Lab with Sunset keeping pace. They re-enter the lab only to see a note that reads I’m sorry to whoever finds but I have made a dreadful mistake. I have been hiding form it for so long but now I must face it. If anyone finds this don’t worry about me. Signed Moondancer Sunset frowned “That’s not good.” Twilight frowned as she saw a bookshelf that once was against the wall was moved leaving a dark staircase. Twilight went down it, Sunset frowned as they got in an elevator and began heading down. They heard a snap and the elevator fell fast before slamming into a hole. Twilight groaned “That hurt!” Sunset frowned as she saw the decrepit room“What is this place?” Twilight headed out of the elevator with a frown, they continued on reading various research notes that Moondancer left behind, Twilight smiled as she talked to herself “That was interesting, it appears ponies can’t handle too much Determination before their bodies start to break down. Sunset frowned “Agreed.” The two headed forward as they saw a huge disformed skull, Twilight frowned “This is the DT Extraction Machine. It’s how Moondancer used Determination to help those monsters.” As they explore they assaulted by several strange creatures looked like different ponies being melted into a single body. After collecting several items they arrived in generator where all of the amalgamated ponies attacked until Moondancer came in and gave them some food. Moondancer sighed “I hid them down her because I tried to save them from death using Determination but you saw how that turned out.” Twilight smiled “No-one will judge you for your actions, you did your best. Trust me.” Moondancer smiled “Thank you. There is another elevator out to the castle.” Twilight and Sunset smiled as they waved goodbye. They arrived at the top only to see purple vines block the entrance, Sunset frowned “That’s not good.” Twilight headed forward to the barrier room and was about confront Celestia when dark blue magic sent Celestia flying. Nightmare Moon grimaced “I’ve seen too much death to allow her to do this.” Spitfire’s eyes widened “Wait your Princess Luna.” Luna nodded “That is correct.” Everypony else in the room save Fluttershy had their jaws drop to the floor in shock, Rainbow. Luna frowned “Rainbow, how did you know to bring us all here.” Suddenly everyone save Twilight was grabbed by vines. Lily smiled “Soon my plan will fall into place.” Soon countless other both ponies and non-ponies arrived to support Twilight. Twilight and Sunset watched in shock as Lily absorbed all the monsters as well as the six human souls. Soon the see a small pony, Sunset’s eyes widen “Sunshine.” Sunshine then turned around revealing Sunshine’s body but she was much larger than when Sunset has last seen her easily being several times the size of her mother. She began firing spells of fire, ice and thunder as well as a powerful void at Twilight who dodged each spell with ease. Sunshine shouted “Stand still, I’m not going to destroy the timeline. I,m just going to rule it.” A huge blast engulfed Twilight, Sunset watched in horror as Twilight’s soul cracked in half but the soul then glowed forcing itself back together. Sunshine grinned as she powered up to full now having an extra pair of ethereal wings, Sunset used what power she could muster from Twilight to protect her while she saved everyone. Sunset eyes widened as Sunshine shouted as Twilight tried to save her. Sunshine ‘s Royal Voice boomed as she fired a huge blast at Twilight “Just let me win!” Twilight gritted her teeth as her HP adding an extra zero in front of the one. Soon they were in a small green field, Sunshine was sitting there “I’m sorry, Twilight for everything.” Twilight smiled “I forgive you, don’t worry about it.” Sunshine smiled “You’re a very different human from Sunset, she was like family to me but to be honest she wasn’t the best person.’ Sunset giggled “That’s an understatement of the century.” Sunshine frowned “I will destroy the barrier and return to a being an emotionless flower. Keep me out of trouble okay.” Twilight smiled as he gave him a hug. Twilight then awoke to see herself surrounded by the everyone who had concerned looks on their faces, Twilight smiled as she stood up “I’m fine and now that the barrier has been broken we can leave.” Sunset who was floating there smiled as she and the rest of the ponies followed her as she ran to the surface. Celestia and Luna smiled, Luna lowered the moon and Celestia raised the sun before grinning “I have missed this feeling.” Luna smiled “As have I sister.” Sunset smiled as he looked at Fluttershy (It looks like a human could do something good for once.) Fluttershy nodded bot of them unaware of what a curious human could do when she has the power to control the timeline. Author's Note Things may get darker and bloodier for a while. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 13: Genocide //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 13: Genocide It had been two months since the inhabitants of the Underground had returned to the surface. Princess Celestia and Luna have been handling the diplomatic establishment of the the area they will call home with the government. Twilight returned home to her parents, Sunset’s opinions on humans were improving slightly as Twilight Velvet, Night Light, Shining Armour and Cadence were all very kind people. One thing that had bothered Sunset was what Discord told her, what she did here didn’t warrant her learning as she still couldn’t interact with the world. Sunset was resting as Twilight frowned a question digging at her mind (What if I chose a different path?) She then giggled (What am I saying, I can control time.) Sunset feels pulse of time energy, she opened her eyes only to see herself in the underground. She glared at Twilight “What did you do?!” Twilight not noticing her continues through. Sunset noticed with things going fairly similarly to the first time until they encountered a Thestral. Twilight smiled “Let’s see if this works.” Sunset’s eyes widened in shock as she kills the thestral with a single punch causing to evaporate into magic. Twilight then leap into a frenzy killing Thestrals left right as she progressed “Now I’m starting to see why the Lily enjoyed this.” Sunset grimaced “So this si the path you’ve chosen. A killer like me huh. It seems you and I aren’t too different.” Twilight killed a Thestral and took a toy knife from their house. Twilight continued along slaying ever Thestral she met, soon she arrived at Luna’s home. Sunset had a worried look on eh face as she watched everything turn out the same as before until Twilight headed down into the basement and with a single strike brought Luna low. Luna glared at Twilight “It seems I was protecting them from you.” She then turned into magic, Sunset sobbed to herself (Luna). Twilight met with Fluttershy and Dash, she marched up to Rainbow who then flew off in a hurry with Twilight following much to the confusion of Fluttershy. She then entered Snowville only to see all the houses locked. She then saw Rainbow Dash at the end of the path, Rainbow rushed at her only to be cut down with a single strike. Twilight grinned as she saw her LV reach 10 and her HP reached 55. Fluttershy had only just arrived to see Rainbow’s favourite scarf laying in the snow, she growled tears in her eyes “THE HUMAN WILL PAY!” Sunset was glaring at the Twilight with contempt “I have learned that there are some good humans out there but apparently you aren’t one! You’re enjoying this!” Twilight saved and then grinned as she entered the Water Plains, her knife tearing through all ponies she came across with the exception of Scootaloo who she used as a pedestal to continue onward. Sunset’s eyes narrowed on the LV 13 with the HP of 65. She then saved again. Soon Scootaloo confronts her “Spitfire told me about all the bad things you’ve done!” Twilight grinned “You will die then!” Sunset was about to try and block the attack only for Spitfire to push Scootaloo out of the way taking the hit her HP depleting to zero. She began to evaporate into magic “I’m sorry everypony, I’ve failed you.” She frowned as she felt something inside her “No, I won’t let you win!” A burst of red light erupted as Spitfire’s armour sharpened and having a red heart shaped soul on it chestpiece. Twilight gasped as Spitfire began throwing spears at her, she screamed as several pierced through her. Sunset shouted “Finish her Spitfire!” Sunset cheered as Twilight was defeated only to appear at the last save point. Each time Twilight returned to the fight each time she got more hits in while dodging more spears. After the fifth fight, Spitfire’s body began to dissolve only for her to laugh “Most of us have evacuated, Ponies will live on!” Twilight shrugged as she levelled up to 14. Twilight continued on with a massive massacre in the Lava Cistern, Rarity glared at the human who had just arrived on the stage. Her mechanical body parts had been modified with advanced weaponry including a hoof cannon, she growled “I will kill you here and…” Twilight unleashed a slash tearing through Rarity, the mare coughed up blood “I guess Moondancer should have improved the defences.” The mare dissolved into magic. Twilight grinned at her LV 19 as headed through Canterlot, she saw chest with a Real Knife in it. She chucked her toy knife in the chest with a grin as she took the Real Knife. She walked into a Golden Hallway only to see Fluttershy standing there with a vicious grin. Twilight saved and then stepped forward, Fluttershy shook her head “Take one more step and you;ll have a bad time.” Twilight grinned as she took another step, Twilight’s soul was pulled into a battle box. She attacked with a grin which fade as Fluttershy causally sidestepped the attack before summoning countless blades and Harmony Blasters which obliterated Twilight. Twilight growled as she attacked again and again only to get blasted. Sunset was watching with worry in her eyes as despite the countless victories for Fluttershy, Twilight was slowly adapting to her ablities. Fluttershy grinned “So I’m sure that makes twenty, want to go for thirty.” A fights went on she could clearly see Fluttershy was wearing down, Fluttershy grinned “Now prepared for my ultimate attack.” Twilight blinked as Fluttershy didn’t attack, Fluttershy grinned “If I don’t attack neither can you.” Sunset was relieved even as Fluttershy fell asleep until she saw Twilight moving the battle box towards the attack button, she shouted “Fluttershy!” Fluttershy didn’t respond, soon Twilight made to the box and swung. Fluttershy grinned did you really…” Twilight launched a second strike which cut into the pegasus, Fluttershy collapsed to the ground. Sunset looked at Fluttershy “I will stop her.” Fluttershy whispered “I know you will.” Twilight no hearing what was said grinned unaware that she was finally going truly face someone her match. Author's Note The Genocide Route in this story is a lot shorter because it's mainly a bunch of killing bbut don't worry the next chapter will start a betetr look at the surface world. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 14: Return of the Twin Suns //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 14: Return of the Twin Suns Sunset frowned “There has to be some way for me to stop Twilight… wait I can assume control but this time permanently.” Princess Celestia looked at her with contempt “You have slain many of my subjects, I will slay you!” Twilight grinned “You can…” Sunset flew into her body an she began to scream as her body began to convulse her eye changed from violet to cyan her tricoloured hair changing to a double coloured hair of crimson and yellow. Her skin turning orange, as her clothes changed to a green and white striped shirt with dark red pants, and shoes. Sunset stood up, the difference between her and Twilight were clearer than just colours and clothing. Where Twilight’s body was fairly weak looting Sunset had serious muscles, also her chest area was much large as well she also stood a head taller than the other human. Celestia’s blinked in shock “Sunset.. but how?” Sunset sighed “I used to Twilight’s LV to assume control, I only wish I could have stopped her sooner. If I reset she will have command of the timeline again, I’m not sure what to do.” Before Celestia could ask what that meant a voice echoed “Sunset, I’m glad to meet you here.” Sunset frowned “Discord, what do you mean?” Celestia blinked “What are talking about Sunset and who’s this Discord? I’ve never heard of such a name.” Discord sighed “After I feel into the void everyone save you and Fluttershy forgot about my existence” he then frowned “That is not why I’m here. I’m here because I will change some parts of the timeline and then you will be able to reset safely.” Sunset nodded ‘Tell me when.” Sunset then frowned at Celestia “Look long story short resetting allows one to rewind back to a certain time.” Celestia frowned “Are you going to tell me more?” Sunset shook her head “Why tell you anything more when you will forget it and I will have to tell you again about all of it.” Celestia sighed “What makes you think I will let you do that?” Sunset raised an eyebrow “Okay two things, first are you really powerful enough to stop me and secondly almost everyone we know is dead, this is the only way to bring them back? Are you going to stop me from doing that?” Celestia shook her head and resumed her silence. Discord smiled “It’s done, took a little longer than I thought, reset away.” Sunset grinned as the reset button appeared in front of her and she pressed it with a smile. Sunset awoke on a field of flowers only to see Twilight looking at her purple soul, Sunset frowned “I should really kill you for the last timeline but I met your parents and they are very nice people. They don’t deserve to lose a child.” Sunset headed into the next room with Twilight following nervously, now knowing if she died she wouldn’t be able to come back. Twilight flinched as they saw Lily bobbing up and down, Sunset smiled “Sunshine.” Lily turned around “How did you know my… Sunset!” Sunset smiled as she pulled out a white soul out of her own and shoved it into the flower. Soon a white muscular Alicorn with a dark green mane about the height of Twilight stood there, Sunshine’s eyes widened “How?” Sunset smiled “I kept your soul alive in mine all that time ago.” Before they could say a word they heard a loud gaps of shock, they turned around to see Luna’s normally slitted eyes widened in shock. Sunset started to feel tears her eyes, she ran over wrapping her arms around the Alicorn of the Night gently “Mum, I’m so sorry for everything.” Luna shook her head with a smile “You’re doing fine.” Sunshine smiled “You have been holding onto my soul for one thousands years waiting to return it to me.” Sunset stood up drying her tears “It was my fault, I wanted to save the monster while ridding them from a filthy human amongst them. I have learned not all humans are bad but there are bad ones out there.” Luna sighed “I’m not going to continue that argument” she then smiled “This is supposed to be a happy time.” Sunset grinned “It will be happier when I break that god damn barrier.” Sunshine frowned “How could you break the barrier, it takes seven human souls to destroy the barrier.” Sunset smiled” Well you’ll just have to trust me, I will break the barrier I swear it on my life.” Luna smiled “I trust you” she then frowned “but who is the other human?” Sunset grimaced “That is a very long story, mum and it would better to explain to everypony at once.” Luna nodded “I’ll teleport us to the door.” Her horn glowed and Twilight stumbled as the group reappeared in front of a door, Sunset punched the door down with tremendous force. She then shrugged “Well that’s taken care of.” Twilight shivered while Luna and Sunshine stared at her in shock. Sunset shrugged raised an eyebrow “What?!” Luna frowned “That is supposed to be unbreakable by anypony except me and Celestia.” Sunset shrugged “So… look I want to get out of here. I’m sure you all want to see the sun again.” Before any of them could say anything Fluttershy poked her head in, her eyes widened she then shouted “Sunset, Sunshine.” She leapt at them wrapping them in a hug “You’re back!” Sunshine began to tear up “I’m sorry for everything, Fluttershy.” Fluttershy blinked in confusion“What for?” Sunset looked at Sunshine “Should I tell her or should you?” Sunshine took a deep breath “Remember the flower, Lily? Fluttershy nodded, Sunshine grimaced “I was that flower, devoid of emotion for one thousand years.” Fluttershy growled “Why did you do all of that. Why didn’t you say anything, we could have helped you?!” Sunset glared darkly at Fluttershy “It wouldn’t have mattered, she was soulless. You have no idea what that means but the information Discord provided me gave a much clearer picture, the Soulless can’t feel any emotions. She was basically a living corpse missing the one thing that makes us truly alive, a soul.” Twilight looked at them nervously “Um are we leaving?” Luna nodded “Indeed, we have all made mistakes but now we can move forward together.” Sunshine held out a hoof “I’m sorry for everything I did, I hope you can forgive me.” Fluttershy gave a weak smile as she grabbed her hoof “I will try.” The group of five headed out with old wounds starting to heal. Sunset caught her with both hands slowing her approach to standstill “Nice try Rainbow but I’m faster.” Rainbow was crying “I missed you so much, why did you have to leave along for so long?” Sunset looked away distantly “There’s no sugarcoating this Rainbow, I died one thousand years ago. There is supposed to be no coming back from that. I had hoped to free you all back then but I know now that I have more than enough power to break the barrier.” Rainbow growled “So you thought you could throw us all away, like we trash.” Sunset‘s voice became incredibly distorted as darkness began to flood from her eyes like a waterfall “i Am nOT LIke Most, i aM a moNster!” Luna wrapped her daughter in a hug “It’s alright my setting sun, we’re all friends here.” Rainbow sighed “I’m sorry, I just wanted to know why you left.” Fluttershy smiled “Sister, we all understand.” she then glared at Twilight who hid behind Sunset in response (Even if we have to put up with Genocidal Maniacs!) Sunset frowned (We will discuss that later, speaking of which.) Sunset pulled out the reset button and drew her sword. She swung a mighty swing cutting the command in half and passed it to Fluttershy with a smile (Now we command the timeline together.) Fluttershy began to tear up as she gave Sunset a hug (Thank you.) Rainbow blinked “What happened?” Luna frowned “I have a feeling they will explain it at the right time.” Sunset nodded “I will head to Canterlot with Sunshine to speak to Celestia. Fluttershy, I will need you to bring Moondancer to Canterlot Castle. Mum could you go with Rainbow to get Captain Spitfire, she will listen to the two of you I’m sure.” Luna nodded “Very well, it will take us a long time to gather everypony individually.” Fluttershy smiled “I believe Moondancer is tinkering away with her machines at this hour. I’ll head to her place, she disappeared as reality bent around her.” Rainbow grinned “Spitfire is in the Water Plains, come on.” Rainbow burst into the sky rapidly with Luna soon joining her with a smile.” Sunset nodded “I think it’s time to meet with Celestia.” Sunshine smiled “I agree but you should call her Auntie, cousin.” Twilight remained silent as Sunset clicked her fingers and all three of them appeared in the streets of the capitol. Ponies eyes widened before they cheered “Sunset’s back!” Sunset sighed “Of course they would cheer, I saved them all from some bad ponies” she shook her head “Ignore them, I must meet with Cel… Auntie.” Sunshine smiled “I can’t wait to see mum again.” Twilight was silent the whole time, the guard bowed and let them into the castle. Celestia turned around and launched an attack at them only for Sunset to catch it before crushing it in her hand “I guess you weren’t expecting us so soon.” Celestia’s voice boomed “Sunshine!” She wrapped her daughter in a hug as tears flowed down he face, Sunshine simply comforted her mother. Twilight finally got the guts to speak to Sunset alone “I’m sorry for everything that happened in the previous timeline.” Sunset frowned “Apologies don’t undo the past. You decided to kill everyone because you wanted to know what would have happened if you did, that’s not something easy to forgive. I have put your actions aside because it is something to be discussed when everyone is here.” Just at that moment Luna teleported in with Rainbow and Spitfire while Fluttershy teleported in with Moondancer. Moondancer frowned “Why did you bring me here?” Luna smiled "My daughter, Sunset has returned” she then frowned “Although I fear they have some news that we may not all like..” Sunset nodded, two hours later she had explained the whole story. Celestia frowned “This sounds far-fetched, the ability to control a timeline like that.” Moondancer frowned as she looked over some of the notes that Fluttershy had provided her over the last two hours “These anomalies lead to the fact that she is correct, there is no other explanation for these readings.” Rainbow blinked “I’m just going to accept this, I never got this science stuff. “ she then sighed “Fluttershy always handled nay research the two of us needed to do.” Spitfire frowned “Why should I believe this human can break the barrier?” Sunset growled at her “How about I show you then!” she then stormed off towards the barrier. Luna glared at Spitfire before galloping after her daughter. Everyone else in the room followed the two, soon they were all standing in front of the barrier. Celestia frowned “I can get the human souls, the will be able to…” Sunset hit the barrier with a single punch. It exploded in a flash of magical energy as soon as the punch connected. Spitfire grinned “Okay that was awesome!” Rainbow grinned “Of course it was, Sunset is awesome.” Soon they all exited, Celestia and Luna’s horns glowed as they reconnected to their astral bodies. Sunset smiled as she hugged them both “I’m happy to be here in person this time.” Sunset frowned “Well first port of call, I’m taking Twilight home. I want to give us some time to construct a proper settlement on the surface before we have to face anything else.” Sunset grabbed Twilight and teleported in front of Twilight’s home. She walked up and knocked onto the door. A light grey woman opened the door with a light greyish azure man beside her, their faces weary with worry. Sunset frowned “I have located your daughter, she has been through a lot recently and for her sake please don’t ask what happened to her.” Sunset then walked away with a frown leaving the two stunned parents, as soon as she was out of their sight lines she made she was alone and then dissapeared in a flash of red light. Sunset smiled as she returned to the exit “Now let’s go and find a place where we can build a city.” Celestia frowned “What should I do with the six souls?’ Sunset frowned “Give them to the one who earned them for you.” Celestia's horn glowed as the six souls were pulled out of the underground and flew toward Fluttershy who’s body shifted as she transformed she was now as tall as Celestia with a horn atop her head. She focused onto the area in front of them and the whole of the underground towns save the castle appeared in a series of plains near the mountain. Luna blinked “Well that certainly saves a lot of time.” Sunset frowned at everyone with her “We need to reassure everypony that they are safe as well as get the Sirens and any other stragglers out of the underground.” The group regaining their composure nodded and then headed to the city below. Author's Note They are going to see somethign soon that will tie into EQG. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 16: She-Demon //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 16: She-Demon It was a couple of weeks since the everyone had been freed from the underground, Sunset was cutting down a tree with a axe made of Determination. Just as the tree crashed onto the ground Sunshine called out “Sunset, lunch is ready!” Sunset smiled as she turned around to the small quaint wooden cabin on the outskirts of the monster city, she saw turned around to see the massive cities that had moved from the underground as well as the small town of Snowville now renamed Mystaville. The building was rather plain, a flat screen TV was set up against ton a small wooden stand with several large cushions in front of it. Sunset then approached the kitchen, the floor was tiled. A fridge/freezer combo was next to a garbage bin with a small bench top in the centre of the room as well as a simple plain over with a built in cook-top. She entered the dining room which had a large wooden table surrounded by three large chairs and one normal chair for Sunset. Sunset on her chair with a smile as Sunshine at across from her “Thanks for lunch.” Sunshine giggled as Sunset dug into her food “I’m happy you’re enjoying your food.” Sunset sighed “I just wish Mum and Auntie were here to enjoy it with us.” Sunshine slumped “Indeed, they are busy trying to negotiate with the government about allowing us to integrate with human society. Luna wants to adopt you legally but she can’t.” Sunset frowned “I can’t believe I had to kill five thousand policemen, three hundred soldiers and blow ten tanks to Kingdom Come before they got the message that I am not leaving…” Before either them could say anything they felt a huge surge of dark magic, they saw a huge dark grene pillar of light with a human figure in it rise into the air. They were about to fly in that direction when they felt positive magic as a rainbow magic blasted a demonic figure. Sunshine frowned “I have never felt magic like that.” Sunset grimaced “Me neither, I know there’s a mall around that area I have been meaning to check out and maybe I can find some information about this strange occurrence while I’m there.” Sunset then headed outside with a smile as she went to chop down some more trees to keep their family’s holiday home warm. The next day after breakfast Sunset then headed to the Canterlot Mall, she looked around in awe at the massive mall full of shops. It reminded her of the markets she used to steal from but much larger, her joy was cut short as a two girl on with light green skin and the other a cream colour sneered at her “Look, it’s the She-Demon. Are you mind controlling anyone today?” Sunset burst into dark laughter “She-Demon, you’re too kind” she turned around as pitch black hatred leaked out of her mouth and eyes “because I’m a Devil.” The two girls freaked and ran off. She then shook her head “I need to know more about this She-Demon incident and…” She heard a voice “Who are you?!” Sunset turned around to see a sporty blue skinned girl, a pale orange skinned girl wearing a stetson, a pure white skinned girl with purple hair, a pink girl bouncing in the air and a yellow girl hiding behind the orange one. What truly caught her eyes was someone who looked exactly like her “Are you tricking me with a spell or are you a shapeshifter?” The rainbow haired girl growled “As far as we’re concerned you are the fake!” The orange girl shook her head “Forgive Rainbow Dash, she is a bit brash. Ah’m Applejack and the girl hiding behind me is Fluttershy.” The white girl smiled “I’m Rarity.” The pink girl bounced up and down in front of Sunset “ I’m going to throw you a party.” Rarity sighed “Pinkie is a bit much sometimes but she is a really nice person.” Sunset frowned “Who is this other girl who looks like me. I want to know about that and this She-Demon incident.” Applejack sighed as she looked at Sunset’s doppelganger“Do I have permission to tell her?” When she got a nod in response she turned to Sunset “This is Sunset Shimmer, she is from an alternate dimension full of magical ponies. She was a pony in that world.” Sunset raised an eyebrow “This world has ponies too, my adoptive Mum is a pony and as is my Auntie.” The other Sunset shouted “What! How are there ponies here.” Sunset grimaced “Seven powerful human wizards used their soul magic to create a powerful barrier. I shattered that barrier recently with my own power, now explain this she-demon business.” The group explained everything to her, Sunset smiled at her otherworldly counterpart “From one Sunset to another don’t worry about your past, besides I have done far worse than what you have. Anyway I needed to go home, fare the well.” The six girls blinked as Sunset dissapeared in a flash of red light. Author's Note Sunset has now met up with her human counterpart. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 17: School Starts //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 17: School Starts Celestia and Luna returned a few days after the incident, Sunset smiled as they entered “Mum, Auntie how did it go?” Luna gave them a weak smile “Better than I expected, they have given me legal guardianship over you and we have got a school more than willing to let you go there” she then sighed “The reason they didn’t allow me to adopt you is the fact that you don’t actually exist in a legal sense and that I’m not human.” Sunshine grimaced as she entered “That isn’t exactly fair.” Celestia frowned “No isn’t but that’s politics. The man we were speaking wasn’t happy about it either but there was nothing he could do.” Sunset frowned “So where am I going to again?” Luna smiled as levitated over a large bag “The school is Crystal Prep, several copies of your uniform are in there.” Sunset grabbed the bag and looked in it, several blazers with pleated skirts as well as long sock and purple laced shoes were in the bag as well as several books and a pencil case. Celestia smiled “From what I heard the school has a reputation foe high grades in every area.” Sunset grinned “Well I’ll show them that I’m fit to stand amongst them.” The group laughed as they got ready to eat dinner. The next morning Sunset entered the simple tiled bathroom and after a quick shower she brushed her hair into it’s usual style. She put on her uniform and headed downstairs with a smile. Sunshine made Bacon and eggs for Sunset, Pancakes for Luna and a huge cake for Celestia. Luna sighed “Sunshine do you really have to give my sister a cake, I’ve been trying to get her to tone down on the sweets.” Celestia looked at her sister Luna “I’m not that bad.” Sunset grinned“Really, I remember at my sixth birthday I only got a single slice of cake. You ate half of it before I even finished my first slice.” Celestia blushed in response to the accusation. As they were eating Luna frowned “Sunset, are you worried about the first day of school.” Sunset giggled “I’ll be fine mum, don’t worry.” After breakfast Sunset smiled “I’ll be back this afternoon.” Sunset got on a bus that arrived near the area, she smiled as she boarded the bus. She was one the only human on the bus but several ponies, two griffons as well as a zebra were also on the bus. Sunset’s eyes widened as she saw the huge Crystal City, she got off the bus at the huge well maintained school of Crystal Prep. A woman with pink skin and tricoloured hair smiled “You’re Sunset Shimmer I assume.” Sunset nodded at the woman with her own smile “Yes, I am. I’ve heard about your mum, she seems to be quite a good pony. It still feels weird to say that.” Sunset smiled “This is very different from where I remember living, it was never this sunny and there weren’t buildings like that either. Actually what nation is this?” Cadence smiled as she beckoned her along “This is the USA , why?” Sunset frowned “That’s odd, I was born in France over one thousand years ago. I fell into that mountain that’s over there.” Cadence shouted “What, how are you one thousand years old!” Sunset gave her a fierce glare “It’s a very long and complicated story, I don’t want to get into it. Also I have a feeling I’m going to be asked a lot of questions about it now.” Cadence looked down “I’m sorry.” Sunset sighed “I should have been more careful with my words, it’s not every day you meet up with a relic like me. Still I need some time alone, I’ll go and look inside .the school for a bit before classes start.” As soon as she entered the school, she saw someone who she knew as well as two people that she didn’t. Twilight was pined to the wall by two kids, Twilight begged “Lightning Dust, Upper Crust please let me go.” Lightning Dust growled as she threw Twilight to the ground and slammed her foot into her back “You were supposed to do our homework two days ago and then give it to us! Now the due date is here and we still don’t have it!” Sunset growled “Leave her alone!” Upper Crust rolled her eyes “This is none of your business.” Twilight looked up only for eyes to widen in shock “Sunset, why are you…” Twilight screamed Lightning Dust slammed her foot down into her back and glared at Sunset “Listen up whoever you are, if you interfere there will be trouble.” Sunset giggled “The fact you consider that you can cause me any bother is laughable.” Lightning Dust ran delivering a rapid punch only for Sunset to catch the athlete’s punch. Her eyes narrowed “Bad Move.” Sunset let go of Dust’s fist as she punched her so hard that Dust flew into locker causing a human sized dent as she coughed up blood. Sunset smiled as she held out a hand to Twilight “Come on, we should go to class.” Twilight got to her feet and gave Sunset a weak smile “Actually we have Home Room first, I’m sure Cadence would introduce you to everyone.” Twilight sighed as she followed Sunset “Why are you helping me after all I’ve done?” Sunset frowned “Look you made some bad decisions and I’m certainly upset that you made them but it is in the past.” Twilight gave her a weak smile “Thanks.” Sunset nodded at her “You’re welcome.” As soon as they arrived at the home room the bell everyone was about to enter when Cadence pulled Sunset aside. All of the students except Twilight ignored her as they entered. Cadence smiled “I’m going to introduce you to the class.” Sunset nodded, Cadence smiled “Today we have a new student, her name is Sunset Shimmer. I hope you make her feel welcome.” Sunset smiled as she entered the classroom “It’s a pleasure to meet you all.” Most of students looked indifferent to her presence save Twilight.” As it turned out that day was test day and after leaving Homeroom Sunset completed test after test until the PE test last period. The Teacher Sombra frowned “Today is your exam, we are playing a game of soccer. I expect you to give it your best.” Sunset frowned “I have never played soccer before.” Twilight smiled “Okay simple rules unless you are the goalie, you aren’t allowed to touch the ball with you hands. Also you must kick the ball into the opposing teams goal.” Sunset grinned “This will be easy.” Her team was given a blue jacket and the opposing team were wearing red jackets. As soon as the ball was kicked Sunset burst into a run, every student was shocked as an orange blur stole the ball and kicked it into the goal before anyone could stop her she then blinked as everyone was looking at her “What.” Needless to say that the blue team won the game easily. Twilight was second with an almost perfect score except for a barely passing in the Physical Education department. A light turquoise girl approached her with a smile “You aced the top score on your first day. I’m mighty impressed.” Sunset raised an eyebrow “Who are you?” The girl smiled “I’m Sunny Flare, what’s your name?” Sunset frowned “I’m Sunset Shimmer, now what’s your angle? You want something from me, I assume.” Sunny Flare gasped “I have no angle, I just want to be your friend.” Sunset sighed “Look, I’m not willing to make friends just yet, being too trusting is dangerous but I’m willing to be your acquaintance.” Sunny Flare’s smile returned “That is more than enough, I’ll see you around Sunset.” Twilight then ran over to the board, she then turned to Sunset with a pout “You beat me.” Sunset giggled at the nerdy girl’s complaints “You don‘t care for physical education so we are technically even in the academic subjects.” Before Twilight could reply, Cadence smiled as she approached Sunset “I’m glad you’re spending time with Twilight, she struggles to socialise with others.” Twilight pouted “It’s not my fault that I prefer science to interacting with others, there is so much that I can learn.” Cadence sighed“Principal Cinch wishes to speak with you, Sunset.” Sunset smiled at Twilight “I’ll see you after I meet with the Principal.” Cadence and Sunset headed off towards the office. She noticed that Cadence walking was stiff, very stiff Sunset frowned “Dean Cadence, why are you so stiff.” Cadence sighed “I’m not sure abut what Cinch is planning but it’s usually something bad. She has something on all of us that stop us from openly speaking out, I’m worried she will target you.” Sunset laughed “Don’t worry about me, the thing is if she really wants to mess with me all she’ll get is a gravestone.” Cadence paled “You don’t mean that, do you?” Sunset frowned “I’m sure you heard about the officers sent to bring a teenage girl away from ponies correct.” Cadence nodded “I heard about that from my husband, the Police Captain Shining Armour. He hand to call in the military after he had lost five thousand men and even they failed to capture her. The kid was super powerful and impossible to stop.” Sunset grinned “Well that kid is me.” Cadence’s eyes widened in fear, Sunset frowned “You have nothing to fear from me, you’re a good person as is your husband. I won’t hurt Twilight either, as for Cinch she’ll have to tread carefully.” Cadence nodded with a smile, Cadence was slightly more relaxed after that. Soon they arrived at the office, Sunset walked in while Cadence waited outside. Sunset frowned as she saw the room was really dark and at the desk a chair was facing the other way. Sunset rolled her eyes as walks towards the desk “This is like some stupid cliche villain’s room I swear.” Sunset approached only to see the chair to turn around her a woman narrowing slightly “Take a seat.” Sunset frowned as a seat shot out of the floor, she took a seat with a shrug. Sunset frowned “Principal Cinch, you wanted something from me?” Cinch nodded “You see we have a competition with Canterlot High know as the Friendship Games every four years and this year is we are having the Friendship Games on their turf. Rumours have informed me that their grades in every area are going up, Crystal Prep’s reputation is depends on these games and I want to you to lead us to victory for the sake of all of…” Sunset shrugged “Sure, I can do that” her eyes began to leak pure darkness onto the floor as her irises vanished “If you try to blackmail me or anyone I care about again” a sword materialised in Sunset’s hand, Cinch’s eyes widened in shock “I’ll kill you.” Sunset left Cinch’s with a wicked grin on her face, several students watched in shock no-one ever left Cinch’s office with even the slightest smile yet this girl left with a wicked grin. Sunset entered her first class for the day with a smile as everyone save Twilight and Sunny Flare watched with a mix off admiration and fear. Sunset listened intently but she didn’t care too much about what they were saying, she had read all of it so many times that she could write an essay on every topic with ease. As soon as Sunset sat down with her lunch, Sunny Flare sat down next to her “I heard that you walked out of Cinch’s office with a wicked grin. What did you do?” Twilight nodded as she joined them “I have an idea, you threatened to kill her didn’t you.” Sunny Flare turned to Twilight with a scowl “Where did you come with such a ridiculous suggestion, it is completely absurd.” Sunset giggled “Twilight you know me too well, that’s exactly what I did. Holding blackmail over someone’s head doesn’t work when you’re a corpse, there is not a single thing in this reality that could stop me from doing it either.” Sunny Flare looked at her with horror in her eyes “You’re not going to kill me are you?” Sunset frowned “I am not interested in causing complete human genocide anymore so no. As far as I’m concerned you want to be my ally, not enemy even before this so it doesn’t matter.” Sunny took a few minutes to resume eating as the other two slowly ate their food while chatting about their lives over the last two weeks. Ponies and other creatures were supposed to stay in the underground, we formed this organisation to slay any who dared leave it.” Sunset growled “So you are bunch of bigots, then!” The woman scowled “We live to protect humanity’s interests, any human who disagrees will be put down.” Sunset laughed before darkness started to spill out of her eyes “You are facing something beyond comprehension!” Sunset clicked her fingers and everyone behind the woman exploded into puddles of blood. The woman growled as she waved her stick at Sunset “Avada Kedavra!” Sunset raised an eyebrow as the green magic trickled through her body “What was that supposed to do?” The woman’s eyes widened in horror “You’re a monster!” Sunset grinned as she restored all the building to normal with a click of her fingers “I prefer Devil, it suit me much better. Now tell your precious pony hating friends that should they lay hand on any ponies I will kill them all.” The woman growled “You will pay for this mark my words.” Sunset rolled her eyes as the woman dissapeared in a dimensional tear. Sunset headed towards the castle, she entered to see countless ponies hiding behind Celestia, Luna, Sunshine and Fluttershy. Sunset smiled “Don‘t worry, I got rid of those pests.” Celestia grimaced “Do you know who sent them here?” Sunset frowned “I don’t know much other than the fact the organisation they belong to believes ponies that should have never been freed from the underground. Bunch of assholes if you ask me.” Meanwhile the woman growled as she reappeared in a empty room, “That stupid demonic girl ruined everything, how did she survive the Killing Curse?!” She walked out of the room into a much larger space. The walls were covered in tapestries as letters flew around in the air, several robbed figures moved around the premises, some were sitting at desks doing paperwork with quills and ink. A bald muscular man approached her with a frown “Iris, did you succeed in your mission?” Iris growled “No, Jacob a bloody demonic girl killed my entire force with a click of her fingers. She even undid all the damage I did, the Killing Curse did nothing to her.” Jacob frowned “Things haven’t been the same since the old master had been defeated and this is going to make things harder for us.” Iris grimaced “How goes the interrogation of the prisoner?” Jacob grimaced “Not well, we have given her several vials of Veritaserum and used the Cruciatus Curse multiple times but she refused to share anything with us.” They headed down a series of wooden stairs into a huge room where a bloody and bruised pink Alicorn who was restrained by one hundred metal chains enchanted to drain magic out of the victim. Each chain was bolted to the solid stone walls. Jacob growled at the pony “Why won’t tell us anything!” The pony growled back “My name is Cadence, not Pony!” Iris was about to cast a spell when the sound of screams filled the air. Jacob was hit by a stupefy spell, Iris eyes widened in horror as she saw three figure come down the stairs. One had a darker skin tone and his head was devoid of hair, the second was a light skin tone woman with brown hair and the final member was a pale man with white blond hair that was tied into a ponytail. All were wearing robes and carrying wands. The darker skin man pointed his wand at her “Iris Stormreaver, Jacob Firebolt you are both under arrest!” Iris growled as cast a powerful light spell “I won’t go to Azkaban, Minster Shacklebolt.” The light cleared revealing that she had escaped leaving Jacob and Cadence behind, the light skinned woman growled “She got away!” Minster Shacklebolt frowned “She did Hermione but we have caught multiple Death Eaters as well as rescued the prisoner they have held. You did a marvellous job of planning the attack.” Hermione smiled “Thanks Kingsley.” The pale man frowned as he was slowly disarming the chains with his wand “I could use some help, there is a lot of these chains.” Kingsley nodded “You’re right, Draco. We better get out of her out of here, she has suffered enough.” After the three wizards removed the Cadence from the chains, she collapsed in exhaustion. Kingsley frowned “Hermione I leaving you in charge of handling the arrests. Draco and I will take care of her.” Hermione nodded “Yes Kingsley.” Kingsley and Draco apparated out of the room with the unconscious Cadence. They arrived in a room with several nurses running around beds. A nurse comes over with worried look “Minster!” Kingsley frowned as she gestured to Cadence “Take her to a bed and make sure she gets plenty of rest. Do not attempt to treat her, we don’t know about her as as species.” The nurse sighed “Very well.” Draco frowned “What now?” Kingsley frowned back “I’ve heard in the Muggle world, a group of her species have emerged and I need to speak with them about the mare. They may have information on how to treat her injuries.” Draco nodded “I understand, I’m returning to Malfoy Manor. There are few alchemy experiments that need my attention.” The two wizards apparated to different locations to continue their tasks. Luna was sitting on the dark blue throne beside her sister, Sunshine was standing beside Celestia while Sunset was standing beside Luna. They were holding court for the first time in centuries, it was time for the diarchy to take charge now they had returned to the surface. Hundreds of Ponies were lining up at the gates, a white pegasus with a dark blue mane approached “I, Hallowed Shade requests that I am granted additional land to expand my home.” Celestia frowned “This court is not here to expand any of your personal worth, so unless you have anything worth our time you will leave.” A green unicorn trotted forward “We demand that you pass our bills, you have proven yourselves incompetent. We re sealed away because of you and…” Luna’s eyes narrowed to slits “We had a lot to consider, we retreated out of fear of our extinction. Humans are powerful and dangerous.” A yellow Earth Pony stormed forward “This is a new age and you are relics from the past. It’s time for us to herald in a new age.” Luna was struggling not to yell at the stallion when Sunset voice echoed through the room as her eyes began leaking hatred “aRe YoU kIdDinG, mE yOU cAmE iN HerE AnD dEmaNDeDThAt yOu dESerVeD MorE ThAN eVErYonE eLSe. AlL OF yOu GeT loSt!” Every single noble in room, vanished as fast as their hooves, claws, feet or wings could carry them. Sunshine frowned as the room was now devoid of petitioners “Well that didn’t work. All it did was allow nobles to piss Sunset off and then for her to blow up.” Sunset took a deep breath “Okay, I’m clam I’m calm and…” her eyes narrowed as she saw a robed man “Are you here to finish to what you started?’ The dark skinned man shook his head “I am Kingsley Shacklebolt, Minister of Magic. I have located a member of your species, she’s pink and has wings as well as a horn. She needs medical attention urgently.” Celestia’s eyes widened “It has too be Cadence. I must go to see her, I’ll organise the medical staff immediately.” Sunset frowned “I’m coming with you, we have no reason to trust him. I can handle anything they can throw at me.” Luna sighed “I’d like to come as well but with the attack, we should have at least two of us stay here.” Sunshine shrugged “I never met Cadence so it doesn’t bother me that much.” An hour later the whole group was waiting, Kingsley frowned “I can’t apparate that many with me unless you want to risk splinching.” Sunset rolled her eyes and put her fingers on his head, she then turned to the group “I got the location. Everyone close your eyes unless you want to be disorientated when we arrive.” Kingsley frowned unsure, he was about to ask when they all dissapeared in a flash of light. Kingsley stumbled as he saw they world shift around him, soon the whole group were in the room. A nurse ran over “Minister Shacklebolt, do you require our assistance?” Kingsley regained his footing and then nodded “I request you take this group to the pink pony I brought in earlier.” The nurse nodded to the group “Follow me.” The medical staff and Celestia followed the nurse while Sunset slowly followed behind them watching cautiously for any signs of danger. She saw several beds with humans on it with countless different conditions that she could not name. Soon they ended up at a two beds attached to one another to support the Alicorn, Celestia looked over her “My niece it’s so good to see you again.” The healers began scanning Cadence with their horns, the head doctor of the medical staff frowned “She is suffering from extreme magical exhaustion and malnutrition, we will need to bring her to our hospital where she can be treated properly.” Celestia frowned “Is it safe to teleport her, Dr Pulse?” Dr Pulse nodded “Yes, there are no physical wounds that could be agitated.” Sunset frowned as she delicately picked up the Alicorn “Let’s go then, I’d like to actually meet my cousin.” Before the Nurse could say anything Celestia nodded with a smile and the group were teleported to the castle. Soon Cadence was taken to a bed in the white medical wing of the castle. Dr Pulse frowned “Really all she needs is to return to eating regular meals and not use magic for a while. She should be fine.” Celestia was sitting next to the bed, Luna growled as she sat on the other side “When we find who did this, we will tear their heads off!” Sunset frowned “I’m more than happy to join you once Cadence has recovered but for now we need to make sure she is alright.” Sunshine who was standing by door frowned “What do you want me to do with the ponies outside?” Sunset growled “I’ll handle it, Cadence probably shouldn’t see me until she’s settled anyway! Humans were your enemies when you were all sealed away, so she shouldn’t see me until she is calm!” Sunset stormed out of the room, Luna sighed as she heard explosions and yelling “We’re going to have to fix the castle again.” Cadence began to groan “Auntie, let me sleep for another hour.” Celestia smiled brightly “Cadence, it’s time to wake up come on.” Cadence’s eyes opened and he leapt on Celestia “Auntie Celestia it’s so good to see you again!” Luna smiled “Hello my niece.” Cadence looked up to see Luna’s slitted eyes and sharp teeth ”Auntie Luna, what happened to you?” Luna frowned “Me and Celestia had a one thousand year long tiff” she then shook her head “there is another pony you should meet.” Sunshine smiled “Hello cousin.” Cadence turned around to see the other Alicorn, she grinned “So Auntie finally found somepony, that’s good I swear she never would.” Celestia blushed “Being an Alicorn makes most males seem inadequate.” They then heard an explosion, Cadence frowned “What was that?” Luna sighed “That’s my adopted daughter, she is dealing with the nobles right now.” Cadence frowned “Wait how is a normal pony doing that or is there Alicorn who ascended while I was away!” Sunshine raised an eyebrow “Sunset is a human, not a pony.” Cadence’s eyes widened in horror “A human is doing that, what if she tries to kill us all for escaping the underground.” Celestia frowned “I highly doubt hat, if she didn’t want us to leave the underground she wouldn’t have broken the barrier.” Cadence’s jaw dropped in shock before she could speak, Sunset pulled open the door “Um, I may have left a bit of a mess.” While the walls were intact there were scorch marks all over the room, Sunset caught Cadence as she fainted. Luna sighed “Still at least you didn’t blow up the walls.” The group had a lot of cleaning to do before attending any other tasks. I’m just glad I never met their boss.” Sunshine snorted “Enough of that depressing nonsense.” She then smiled “I know a great arcade where the three of us can have some fun.” Cadence raised an eyebrow “Is she always like this?” Sunset shook her head “Not really, she is quite serious usually. She just wants us to have fun. Let’s just follow her before she get impatient.” They arrived in a small arcade, several arcade games were placed in various locations across the room. Sunshine shouted “Come on, let’s play space invaders.” Sunset sighed “Alright, fine I’ll play.” Cadence frowned as Sunset joined in with Sunshine. Sunshine was beaming but Sunset was clearly not entertained despite having twice the score of her partner, Cadence sighed “Sunshine I don’t think this is working.” Sunshine blinked as she paused the game “Why not, we’re having fun aren’t we Sunset?” Sunset frowned “Not really, I prefer the outdoors to being inside. The smell of the wind and rain brings me peace, I’m not one for advanced technology.” Sunshine slumped “Oh, I was just hoping you would enjoy playing games with me.” Cadence sighed “Me and Sunset have seen some pretty harsh stuff over our lifetimes, we struggle to find joy in this kind of activity.” Sunshine smiled weakly “Then what do you two enjoy?” Cadence whispered something in Sunset’s ear, Sunset smiled “We’ll show you but we have to leave the city. Follow us.” Sunset, Cadence and Sunshine left the building. Sunset and Cadence then burst into the air, Sunshine followed trying to keep up with the other two. Soon they arrived in a empty plain in sightlines of the city.” Sunshine blinked “There is nothing here?’ Cadence grinned “Exactly, now we can fight without worries.” Her pink aura flared out causing the ground to shake violently. Sunset grinned “Let’s go!” Her red and black aura flared out as she joined Cadence in the air. Cadence and Sunset began swinging punches at one another countering blow for blow. Cadence grinned as she delivered a mighty uppercut to Sunset’s jaw “Those wizards poisoned me, they didn’t face me head on. I have been waiting to get some fighting in.” Sunset recovered with her own grin as she recovered and then dove at Cadence punching her into the ground creating a mighty crater “Luna told me you were a soft pink pony made of candy, I’m glad that she was wrong.” Cadence teleported behind Sunset and kicked her in the back “I was like that but a few thousand years of trying not to get captured or killed by humans tends to make you tougher.” Sunset grinned as she recovered “It’s certainly made you tougher, even Celestia and Mum couldn’t fight against me for this long.” Cadence powered up as her aura grew “That was just the warm up, let’s go all out.” Sunset’s aura turned completely black as she grinned “Agreed.” The two combatants blows began shaking the world with the force of each strike. Sunshine shouted at them “Calm down, you may blow up the planet!” Neither of them listened as the impacts grew fiercer craters exploding left and right all over the ground. The two nodded as they flew into the space “Let’s end this!” Cadence created a huge pink orb while Sunset created a black spear. Cadence shouted as she fired the huge ball of energy “Calamity Conundrum!” Sunset roared as she threw her spear “Hatred Lancer!” The pink and black attacks clashed violently as both tried to push it at the other. Soon the two attacks began to become unstable and exploded in a massive flash of pink and black across the sky. Cadence was taking deep breaths “That took a lot out of me, I’m out of shape.” Sunset smiled not a bead of sweat on her “Well I can help with that, I have been pushing myself quite hard.” Cadence smiled back “Looking forward to it.” The pair flew down only to see Celestia and Luna frowning “What was that!” Sunset rubbed the back of her head “We were sparing and we decided to end it with a bang.” Celestia raised an eyebrow “Since when did you get into fighting Cadence. You always were king and loving when you were with us.” Cadence grimaced “Well times change as do ponies, I’ve seen death flash before my eyes as I narrowly escaped death way too many times. It took me years before I was tough enough to fight the hunting parties that chased me.” Luna grimaced “That’s not the point, I believe the entire world saw that. You can’t just go firing off blasts like that in the sky.” Sunset looked at Cadence “Next weekend want to spar on Jupiter, that should be far enough away?’ Cadence grinned “Sure.” Luna facehooved “Why do I even bother?” Celestia raised an eyebrow “That is a good question.” Luna glared at her sister with a fierce scowl. Sunshine finally shook herself out of her stupor and shouted “Are you not even concerned they could have blown up the planet?!” Celestia shrugged “I don’t see why, they focused their attacks to cause minimal damage to the environment and then made sure they did their energy attacks off planet.” Luna sighed “Well I am glad that they did. I want to get some rest, I’ll see you all tomorrow.” The group watched as Luna flew off to get some sleep, the rest headed home for some rest not noticing that a giant rainbow Alicorn vanished from the sky. Also I wanted to differientiate Cadence from her Canon Counterpart. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 22: Wizarding Discussion //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 22: Wizarding Discussion Celestia, Luna and Cadence frowned as an owl carrying a letter flew into the room. The levitated the letter off the owl, it read: The Minister for Magic and two of his associates are going to be arriving in two hours. We are informing you so you are ready for their arrival. Cadence frowned “I’ll get Sunset and Sunshine. Sunset has been trying to toughen Sunshine up a bit.” Luna smiled ‘Thanks you for that, Cadence” she then frowned “I assume this partially involves the light show that you and Sunset performed yesterday.” Cadence frowned “We just had to cut loose a bit, we haed been under a lot of stress recently.” Celestia smiled “It’s alright, I understand that. I honestly would love to cut lose as well but I have responsibilities.” Cadence smiled as she left the room, she trotted through the corridors. She approached a room with a bare bell symbol next to the door, she entered to see Sunset wearing a heavy weighted suit as pushed herself up on her finger. Sunshine was next to her wearing a far lighter suit then Sunset pushing herself up on a single hoof, both were covered in sweat. Sunshine groaned “Are we done yet?” Sunset frowned “You haven’t even done fifty and I have done one thousand. It si tog8th but you don’t get stronger if you don’t push yourself, a fit Alicorn should be able to support ten tons on their body with little difficulty. You struggle to support the one, that needs to change you’re a princess and if you are weak link you can be used against your mum.” Cadence coughed, Sunset smiled “Are you here to join us Cadence?” Cadence shook her head “The Minister of Magic and two guests are coming here to discuss the light show we made yesterday. I advise that you two have a shower before the meeting.” Sunset sighed as she pushed herself into the air with her finger before flipping in the air and landing on feet “Okay, I’ll have a shower.” She tossed her weight into the wall and then left the room. Sunshine collapsed onto the floor, she looked up at Cadence “A little help.” Cadence sighed as she pulled off the weight and frowned as she pulled the Alicorn up “You know, when Sunset said you were as weak as piss I thought she was comparing you to me or herself but I was wrong, Celestia and Luna could easily bench press a mountain. You should be able to do at least the same if not greater.” Sunshine pouted “It’s not my fault I spent the last one thousand years as a flower.” Cadence frowned “You’ll have to explain that to me later.” Two hours later, Sunset in some fresh clothes was sitting next to Luna while Sunshine was sitting next to Celestia. Cadence was sitting to the left side of the large meeting table. Sunset frowned as she saw two humans behind Kingsley, Kingsley gestured his companions to sit down. He gestured to the brown haired woman “This Hermione Granger, Deputy Head of the Magical Law Enforcement Department at the Ministry” she then gestured to the blond pale skinned man “This is Draco Malfoy, a skilled alchemist. Both of whom worked with me to free your friend here” Celestia and Luna smiled “It is a pleasure to meet the both of you, I’m glad you saved our niece.” Kingsley sighed “Now to the task at hand, the fact that you have magic is a concern. That light show makes many want to have them held accountable for their actions, to be brought before the ministry. I had to inform them that you are not subject to our laws as you are technically a foreign nation.” Sunset frowned “What are we being accused off?” Hermione frowned “Magic is legally supposed to be kept from Muggles. We don’t want them to know magic really exists.” Sunset facepalmed “You do realise that humans have been driving along technology, that they take picture of something and in seconds it will be all over the internet. They can even send electronic letters.” Draco blinked “Wait really. That is impressive.” Hermione frowned “My parents weren’t magical, I am well aware of technology.” Cadence frowned “Then you should now that non-magical humans could easily find a way to pick up magic with technology. Not to mention they are reaching for the stars, one day they won’t be here. You will be left behind.” Sunset frowned “It’s already beginning, I know someone who developed a way to detect magic. Not to mention another dimensions magic has entered this world, from I’ve gathered their world doesn’t have humans but it has ponies. The world is changing and your ability to keep events secrets is fading.” Celestia frowned “We have no intention of hiding ourselves away.” Luna scowled “Exactly and we are more than willing to fight for our freedom. A war on the scale of us fighting impossible to hide, after all Celestia and I command the Sun and Moon.” Sunset frowned “I have the power to easily erase the entire timeline with ease, I could wipe out all life on this planet should I choose.” Kingsley frowned “I understand, in truth I think it’s time for us to stop hiding. Our world is changing, forces are moving beyond our control.” Hermione frowned “The Ministry is not going to like this one bit, it could cost you your job.” Draco frowned “They all saw as well as we did, the power that those two wield is easily enough to destroy the entire Wizarding World. From research of those who had tried to capture Cadence she was avoiding killing at all costs. If she wasn’t there would be a lot more deaths, we can’t risk a war with beings like this.” Kingsley smiled “Thanks for this meeting, I will keep in touch with you three. I will have to make some hard choices but I will make this happen.” With that the three wizards left as quickly as they came. Their actions were going to reshape the entire world. The girl smiled “Come on, Sunset let’s go to the mall.” Sunset frowned “I have a project to work on, my void manipulation device is almost finished. I have a friend to free from his long torment.” Twilight ran over, she took a few minute to regain her breathes before joining them. She then looked up “What are you two talking about?” Sunset frowned “I was planning to go home to finish an important project but Sunny Flare wishes for me to spend some time with her.” Twilight smiled widely “A project, can I come? I can help you with it.” Sunset frowned “I don’t need any help, there is only an hour worth of work to do” she then sighed “Sunny Flare, Twilight I’ll meet you at the mall in an hour.” Twilight slumped “I just wanted to help, particularly after what I did. I don’t deserve the mercy you’ve shown me.” Sunny Flare raised an eyebrow at Sunset “What did she do? It can’t possibly that bad can it?” Sunset grimaced “I’d rather not talk about it, it’s a sore spot that still hasn’t quite healed” she then turned to Twilight with a weak smile “I admire the effort but I’m not going to let the past bog me down. I’m happier than I’ve ever been before and I’m not going to let the past ruin it.” Sunset then disappeared in a flash of light much to the shock of Sunny Flare who looked at Twilight, Twilight shrugged “There are far stranger things in this world than that, I don’t question it because I want to maintain my sanity.” Meanwhile Sunset reappeared in front of a metal door that came down from a set of steel stairs with metal walls glowing as glowing lights were all across the walls. Next to the door was a number pad, she put in the code 4298 and the door opened. She entered the small white lab with two long benches as well as a simple worktable, several empty beakers were lined against the wall as well as a Bunsen Burner, Microscope and several other scientific implements. At the end of the room was circular mirror like structure connected to several wires, she frowned as she began tinkering with the wires. Looking over various blueprints, within forty five minutes the machine was set up, she lifted up a screen on the machine programming in a search for a high concentration of chaotic energy. The machine sparked to life as activated, the circular device shook as the portal opened to what appeared to be an empty black space without even the slightest hint of light. Her eyes widened as she saw a serpentine figure with mismatched limbs, she focused on him and pulled him out of the portal. She then turned off the machine with a smile “It’s been a while Discord.” Discord turned around and grabbed the girl a hug as she cried “Thank you so much, I can finally see my kids again.” Sunset smiled “Speaking of which, some ponies are here to see you.” She opened the door of the lab only for Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash to tackle him. Fluttershy cried “I missed you so much!” Rainbow was also crying “I’m so sorry I forgot you, please forgive me.” Discord hugged the two of them with a smile “It’s so good to see you two” she then turned to Rainbow “There is nothing to forgive, the Void erased almost everyone’s memories of me, save those with the power to resist it’s effects. I can’t wait to meet up with the others.” Sunset smiled “I have to go somewhere soon, and I need to lock up the lab. I’m sure there are countless others who have missed you as well.” Discord clicked his claws only for nothing to happen, Sunset giggled at his confused expression “My lab nullifies all magic in it. Some of the chemicals in here are magically dangerous.” Discord rubbed the back of his as he moved his two daughters still hugging him “Oops.” Sunset grinned “I’ll see you later then.” She teleported away as she left the reunited family to catch up after one thousand years, she arrived at the mall as she walked through the area covered in snow, she tripped over something as she looked for Sunny Flare and Twilight. She frowned as she saw the huge snow covered bulge, she moved the snow to see her counterpart shivering in the snow. She picked up the girl and sent waves of magic through her warming her body, the other Sunset looked up. Sunset frowned “What happened?’ The other Sunset looked up sadly “Everyone turned on me, they believe I am this Anon-A-Miss who has spread all their darkest secrets all over the school. I was walking home when a snow pile fell on me, I’ve been there all night.” Sunset shrugged “I don’t believe you would be upset by this if it was you, now I’m meeting up with my friends at the mall” she then frowned “Wait those girls you were with turned on you as well.” The other Sunset cried “They turned on me as well, I have no one left.” Sunset smiled “Shimmy, you have me.” ‘Shimmy’ blinked “Is that a nickname?’ Sunset giggled “Well what else could I call you, we’re both Sunset Shimmer just with different lives.” Shimmy smiled “Thanks Sunset” she then slumped “I’m just worried if I go in there I’ll see my friends. I still miss them in spite of everything.” Sunset gave her a hug “It’s okay Shimmy, they won’t do anything while I’m there.” Shimmy smiled “Thanks.” They bumped into Twilight and Sunny Flare at the entrance of the mall, Sunny Flare looked between the two girls in confusion “How are there two of you?’” Shimmy was eyeing Twilight as Sunset frowned “She’s my counterpart from another dimension.” Twilight raised an eyebrow “Why are you looking at me like that?” Shimmy looked away “I stole a magical crown from your counterpart and turned into a she-demon. She stopped my rampage by blasting me with rainbow magic, then giving me a chance to learn the importance of friendship.” Sunny Flare looked at Twilight “You’re a scientist, you can’t believe this nonsense.” Twilight frowned “I have seen some pretty weird things, it’s not beyond the realm of possibility at this point.” Sunset smiled “Come on, enough talking about this. We came here to have fun, it’s just the fact there are four of us instead of three.” Sunny Flare took a deep breath “Well if scientist is okay with it.” The three girls entered the mall, Twilight smiled “How about we go to the bookshop?” Shimmy smiled “I’ll like that, I like a good book.” Sunset smiled “Lead the way you two, I love a good book.” Sunny Flare raised an eyebrow “I’m not exactly a book person, I was hoping we could go to a clothes store.” Sunset smiled “We can do that next, don’t worry.” They headed to the bookshop, Twilight picked out several books as did Shimmy, Sunset grabbed a small collection of adventure books, Sunny Flare waited patiently outside. After that was done Sunny Flare excitedly smiled as she took them to fashion store, Sunset, Twilight and Shimmy blinked as Sunny Flare smiled “Let’s try on some nice clothes.” Sunset frowned as she looked at the clothes, they were flimsy and unfitting. Shimmy was smiling as she was looking through some of the different leather jackets, Twilight was looking at some T-shirts and pants. Sunny Flare meanwhile was completely in her element trying on different dresses, she was passing by some dresses. She saw some blue-teal dresses as well as a bright sunny yellow dress. She grabbed two of the blue-teal dresses, picking a slightly bulkier one for Sunset as well as a sunny yellow dress and acquiring some high heels of matching colours before headed over to Twilight, Sunset and Shimmy. She passed the blue-teal dresses and matching heels to Sunset and Shimmy while giving the yellow heels alongside the matching yellow dress to Twilight, Sunny smiled “I believe these will suit you, come on try them on.” Sunset smiled “Sure why not, I don’t have any really fancy dresses.” Sunny smiled as Sunset took the dress and heels with a smile on her face Shimmy shrugged “Why not.” Shimmy took the dress and heels. Twilight nervously took the third dress “I guess I could try it on, just don’t laugh at me.” Sunny Flare was grinning as the three girls got changed, Sunset strutted out with a grin posing with her left arm on her hip. The blue-teal dress was bulky enough to fit her strong frame while still emphasising her large chest and toned stomach, Sunny Flare grinned “It really suits you, you definitely pull off the look.” Sunset silenced “I know it suits me.” Shimmy was the next out she stumbled a little bit as she struggled to walk in the heels, Shimmy was far less bulky then her warrior-like counterpart, the dress had a similar effect to the one Sunset wore but on a much smaller scale. Twilight stumbled out barely able to walk in the heels, her dress helped to make the most of her small chest while showing her thin, soft legs. Sunny Flare grinned at all them “I think they all suit you.” Twilight looked down “Um, can I take the heels off. I struggle to walk in these things.” Shimmy nodded “It’s a bit difficult.” Sunset smiled “I’ll show you how to walk in them, it’s all about balance,.” Sunny Flare smiled “That’s fine, I suggest you take them off so I can pay for them.” Twilight and Shimmy frowned “You don’t need to do that, this stuff is very expensive.” Sunny Flare giggled “My family makes more money then they know what to do with. They could buy this mall if they wanted to.” Sunset blinked “You’re family is very rich?” Sunny Flare sighed “Yes, makes it hard to trust others sometimes.” On that note all conversation was halted as they got out of their dresses, Shimmy was carrying three bags with the dresses and heels in them while Sunny Flare was carrying her dresses in another bag. They were about to get some food when they heard a voice and Shimmy cried out as a rock hit her head. They heard a voice “Hey Anon-A-Miss.” Sunset held out her hand to the back of Shimmy’s head healing the wound, she then glared to see Pinkie Pie, Applejack, the human Rarity, the human Fluttershy and the human Rainbow Dash. Sunset growled “I suggest you traitors back off!” Applejack growled back “We’re not the traitors she is, look!” She stormed over showing her the Anon-A-Miss page, Sunset looked over it for a few seconds before bursting into laughter “This is the sloppiest frame job I’ve ever seen, even a moron could see it and yet you five fell for it. I not wasting my time on you idiots.” She turned around “Let’s …” She felt a hand on her shoulder, Rainbow Dash growled “You will take that back.” Sunset growled “Move it or lose it, you have five seconds.” Rainbow defiantly held on as Sunset counted “Five, Four , Three, Two, One.” Rainbow screamed in pain as Sunset grabbed Rainbow’s arm and ripped it out of the socket. Sunset’s friends save Twilight and Rainbow friends were stunned at the violence while Rainbow’s friends ran over to Rainbow trying to stop the bleeding, Sunset tossed the arm onto the ground with a scowl “I warned you but you didn’t listen, this is the price you pay.” Sunset turned to her friends, Sunset picked up Shimmy while Twilight pulled Sunny Flare away from the scene. Shimmy growled as she regained herself “Why did you do that to her, that was unwarranted?!” Sunset looked down at her “I’m a Devil, it’s what I do.” Shimmy stayed silent as she had to contemplate those words, wondering if she was hanging around the wrong crowd. She looked around her pale white room, it was fairly the same with a simple bedside table next to the bed the only additions separating it from a normal guest room was the small armour stand with several weapons on it and a small bookshelf full of books. Sunset got out of her bed at first light, after a quick shower she changed into her usual clothes and exited the room. She walked towards the dining room, she saw that the damaged part of the wall she had damaged almost a year ago had been rebuilt but it was reinforced with powerful enchantments. Luna smiled “Sunset, I’m glad you are here to join us for breakfast.” Discord was smiling as he had Fluttershy on his lap while Rainbow sat next to Sunshine. Celestia was sitting next to Sunshine. Sunset took a seat “So what’s for breakfast?” Celestia smiled as several chefs entered placing pancakes in front of each of them “I believe that answers your question.” Sunset smiled as she dug into her pancakes, Fluttershy and Discord shared their pancakes while Rainbow shoved her muzzle into the food. Luna, Celestia and Sunshine ate more slowly. After they ate, Luna smiled “I believe the young ones should leave us to talk about the boring stuff.” Rainbow, Fluttershy and Sunshine galloped out of the room, Sunset however decided to eavesdrop on the conversation outside the door. Discord frowned “Have you made your decision?” Luna slumped “I want to adopt her but I don’t want her to get wrapped up in politics. She’s lived a hard enough life as it is.” Sunset disappeared with a flash of light as she thought (I can’t let her take in a human like me, I have corrupted this land enough with my presence. They praise my violent actions as heroic despite my protests.) Sunset arrived in the Castle Library, she began looking through the p section. She grinned “Perfect.” A book titled Poisons and Poultices was in her hands, she looked through the book intently until she saw a page with a set of golden flowers, it read Buttercups, cousins of the Shineflowers of the surface world. Extremely poisonous capable of putting an adult monster out for several days and will kill a younger monster. Sunset smiled as headed out to the gardens, she grabbed a bunch of the flowers and ate them. She smiled as she collapsed to the ground “Maybe now the ponies can be free.” She blinked as she saw Fluttershy flying over to her with a concerned look on her face “Sunset, what’s wrong!” Sunset grinned “Nothing, soon my life will end and you can free yourselves.” Fluttershy teleported Sunset into the thrown room in front of Luna, Discord and Celestia. She cast a desperate look at her father “Sunset is dying, she ate some flowers in the gardens.” Luna let out a ghastly wail, Discord expression turned grave “There is no cure for Buttercup Poisoning, Sunset is going to pass on soon.” Just then Rainbow and Sunshine burst in only to see Sunset cough up blood, Sunset with the last of her strength pulled her soul out of her body “One of you take it! Don’t make my sacrifice in vain.” Luna turned away trying to hold her tears away, she turned to Discord “Come on, this is the only chance you’ll get.” Discord shook his head, she turned to Celestia who frowned “I can’t, it’s not my place if anyone should do it’s Luna. You are daughter in all but name.” Luna began crying “I won’t do it, I can’t. Don’t make me do it!” Suddenly Sunset’s soul was pulled away with a burst of magic, it flew past Rainbow and Fluttershy only to fly into Sunshine’s body. Sunshine began increasing in size to the point she was twice her mother’s height with a fully matured body, she glared ta three adults in the room “Since none of you had the guts to do this, I will! She then hefted Sunset’s limp body onto her back “I’ll take her body back to where it belongs!” Celestia chased her daughter “Please, don’t do this. What if you get hurt?!” Sunshine snapped “You had the option to take her soul, you made your choice and I am making mine!” Celestia froze as her daughter’s eyes flared red for a second, Celestia quietly followed her daughter to the barrier. Sunshine exited the barrier, she smiled as she smelt the vibrant air of the surface. She carried the Sunset’s body into a village only for the townsfolk to begin attacking her. Sunshine screamed as their weapons began to tear into her, meanwhile inside her body her soul was beginning to crack only for Sunset’s red soul to pull the white soul into itself. Sunshine’s body sent out a huge burst of red magic, Sunset in control of the body hefted her own corpse onto Sunshine’s back. Sunset took full control flying her temporary body back to the underground. Celestia gasped “Sunshine!” Sunset glared at her “This is your fault for not taking my soul!” Sunset forced Sunshine’s body over a set of purple flowers only for Sunshine’s body to evaporate into magic while Sunset’s soul returned to her body. Sunset opened her eyes to be in a strange void like location, she looked around in confusion “Where am I?” A familiar voice spoke “You are in the void space of your body.” Sunset looked around “Discord, where are you?” Discord materialised “Two hundred years after your death, I fall into the void. Time mean little in the void thus I am visiting you two hundred hundred before it happened” he shook his head “the point is the void space can contain objects from the real world.” He clicked his claws and several bookshelves with of books from the present to one thousand years in the future arrive in the void space, Discord grinned “This should you keep you occupied for next thousand years. Something important will happen to you then. We will speak again at that time.” Sunset sighed “Well I better get to reading.” Author's Note This story is inspired by Undertale so guess who Sunset represents and gues swho is going to arrive.
