Chapters Prologue: So this is how it began

Base on the beginning of the end part 1 when the main 6 getting to 'liberate the empire' and enter the crystal castle throne room.
And the early stage of the midnight nightmare for Twilight.

Prologue: So this is how it began
Midnight Sparkle was not defeated in the human world. But found a new host, a princess from a the world she wanted to conquer. She has slowly been waiting for the prefect moment, and now she will make Princess Twilight the new Midnight Sparkle. As She believe, that she can not live for long.
'You can't run Twilight! Your see!'
"Who there?!" said Twilight.
Twilight look in around the cutie map room and saw nothing. she started to pace back and forward. She was wait for her friend she did send that letter to them about King Sombra taking over the Crystal Empire. And now she think she is hearing a voice in hear head. Suddenly she hear the sound of hooves coming from the door. She say her friend open the door.
"Thanks for coming so quickly". said Twilight.
"WHOA!??!" said her friends and Discord appeared.
"Sure thing" said Discord "But if your going to be the ruler of Equestria you may want to work on your penmanship" as the letter appear out of no where. "This look like it says, Cadence sent an emergency message, Sombra back and he's taking over the Crystal Empire."
"That's exactly what it says!" as Twilight fly in front of Discord.
"But how is that possible." Rarity said "I thought the Crystal Heart dispelled him into the ether."
"I have no idea." Twilight said. "That he's back and it's up to us to save the Empire and my Family"
Futtershy said "Shouldn't somepony tell Celestia and Luna."
"Oh good point" said Discord. "One of us should probably loop in the real rulers of Equestria".
As Twilight heard something in the air 'Your don't need Celestia!!!'
"No" said Twilight "If we're going to run Equestria we'll need to handle things like this on our own."
'Yes good ,but you don't need them show the world your power.' As it soft spoke.
Discord then said "Oh Twilight, could this mean that you finally have the confidence to ascend to the throne like the Princesses would believe you can."
'YES, take it! Its all, your Equestria at its knees.'
"Maybe". said Twilight. "Unless you'd consider taking care of Sombra for us."
'NO Twilight!' Midnight then thought to herself 'But this Sombra sounds like a good King to rule with.'
"NO NO NO!" as Discord said "You're absolutely right you need to learn to handle these things on your own. Tata!" As Discord teleported out.
"Handling thing on our own is all well and good." said AppleJack "But last time we defeated Sombra with the Crystal Heart."
"What if he has it already" said Spike. "How are we gonna to stop him."
'Join him Twilight.'
Twilight looked at the map, then her cutie mark and said " The Elements of Harmony with those we can defeat any pony, even Sombra."
Discord appear looking like he was taking a bath "Ah no no no, You did not need the elements the last time you defeat Sombra and I'm sure using them still count handling things on your own."
'Discord is right. You don't need them or your friends.'
"My Family is in danger" said Twilight. "I'm not taking any chances."
"She's got a point" said Rainbow Dash.
"Fine" said Discord as he left again.
"What's his problem." said Pinkie.
"Starlight can you stay here and take care of the school" said Twilight.

The main six and spike where teleported by Twilight as she used her magic to grab the elements and give each to right pony. Twilight was felling light headed and heard her again.

Sombra was on his throne and eating a grape. And the monarch of the Empire in a Crystal prison created by Sombra. Flurry tried to shout him with her magic.
"It's cute that you think that will do anything" said King Sombra.
"It might not" Said Princess Cadence "But they Will."
'So this is King Sombra. Hey hot stuff.'
"Calvary is here" said Pinkie as they charge in.
Sombra thought to him self "It has been a long time when I face a Alicorn alone why not now."

As he said that Twilight's Friends where trap behind a Crystal wall and Twilight was on the side with The King of Shadows. The wall connected to the small prison that had to Cadence ,Shining and Flurry. Twilight's Friends thought this will be a good idea to free them.
'Good this is prefect. I did not plan this.'
"Ah Ha Ha... At last we meet face to face." said Sombra as he got of his throne."Princess Twilight Sparkle."
"So you want to fight me Sombra, My magic is stronger the last time we face." said Twilight
'Yes, show him!'
"If I remember you where that unicorn that found the heart. Well it seem to late." Sombra said.

As the heart look like is was going to break.
"Because something are better to be. BROKEN!!!!!!!" as Sombra said that the heart shatter and was destroy.
As Cadence ,Shining and Flurry where set free they saw the Crystal castle slowly shaking.
"The Castle. Sombra is trying to destroy the Empire." said Cadence.
There was no way of helping Twilight. As her Friends try to break to wall it was to thick.
"Twilight we can't break the wall". said Spike.
"Go! I will hold Sombra back." Said Twilight as he throw to Element of Magic to Spike.
"No I won't let you go out like this Twily." said Shining Armor.
"I sorry Big Brother, but Sombra must not thread Equestria." Said Twilight.
"But Twilight."
"I Said GO Shining." Twilight said.

There ran out of the castle the City had no crystal ponies around but Sunburst ran to them.
"What's Happening" Sunburst said. as the ground shakes.
"Sombra is Destroy the city." Said Rarity.
"We don't have time to the train station." said Shining Armor.
As they made it they say the castle Collapse and a brave pony sacrifice her life in front of there eyes And the Frozen North cold calmed the city.
"No" Said Shining Armor "Twilight.... no" he was crying he felt his heart broke as he saw the castle destroy, and he lost little sister.

(CH 1) (E) The End of Twilight. The Beginning of Midnight.
It was a Dark and cold day in ponyville. As purple touches light the town and all of the cities of Equestria. As today a hero, a Princess, and a friend as die to day. Between Twilight's Castle and her school was a new walk path it was a funeral not a normal one it was Twilight's. All of her Friend's and Family where they.
Celestia was the one speaking and she was crying. "We have gathered here today to honor the burial of Princess Twilight Sparkle: Princess of Friendship, Daughter of Night Light and Twilight Velvet, Little sister of Shining Armor, Sister in law Princess Cadence, Friend of Applejack, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Starlight Glimmer, and Fluttershy, Student of mine, and Friend of my dear sister Luna..... Twilight attended... the school for gifted... unicorns and became my student... She got the Element of Magic when she and her friends activated the Elements of Harmony.... and defeated Nightmare Moon. This brought my.. sister Luna back to us. She Defeated Discord and her friends made him reform. She save Equestria so may time. She was my be..st student and she gain the title of Alicorn. She Defeated Load Tirek with her Friends. She forgiven Starlight. And made Starlight, her student. She made a great school. And she brought light where she when. And she Scarifies her life so Sombra will be destroyed. May she rest in Peace and her heroic bravery be a light to all of us."
As Celestia was done with her speech she gave Twilight Velvet and Night Light something "Mrs Velvet" Celsetia said "I don't need this but you will, to remember her." It was Twilight's crown in a glass box, on the crown was a Picture of Twilight when she became a Alicorn. "You daughter will always be the only student what will be the best. No pony can be like her. She was like a if she was my daughter."
"Thank... you Princess." said Twilight Velvet.
As each pony walk to her grave to pay respect it may each pony cry.
"May all your dreams be... sweet tonight....and.. for...ever....and know not of sadness.... or pain... or fear... and when I dream, I'll fly and meet you there. Sleep.... Sleep.... Sleep..... Good Night.... Twilight....." Luna said like it was a lullaby but it was hard for her to not cry.
"I will never forget you Twilight. You still that one filly that had so must joy when I was there as your Foalsitter." said Cadence as she cried.
"Your the best sister that a brother can have.... And I will never forget you." said Shining Armor as he hug her grave.
"I can't believe that your gone.... Twilight. You say that I'm your best Assistant..... And you where like a big sister to me." said Spike, as he cried off.
"I wish I could fine you from the rubble. I had a dress for you when you became... a princess of Equestria. But I will miss you." said Rarity as she cried off.
I was hard for Fluttershy to say her byes to Twilight."Good... Bye.... Twilight!!!!"
"I guess I was wrong. You where the smart one Twilight. I will never forget you, because you gave me a second chance." said Discord.

"I hope you are up in the sky looking at us. I will miss you Egghead." said Rainbow Dash.

A royal guard Pegasus walk to her grave. He had a blue mane and tail and is coat was yellowish gold. He had a rose in his wing. He place the rose on her grave. It was Flash Sentry. "I wish you where alive. I..I..I really... Love you Twilight. When I first saw you I was in love with you. And you where the only mare that I was in love with."
As the funeral was about to end the ponies of Equestria in each town and city. One thousand purple orbs flew up in the night. Luna made a star constellation of Twilight Sparkle and it will be permanent. Twilight's grave was a Sculpture of her in her Alicorn state. Purple energy flow out of her where her mane and tail would been. On the base of the grave was a golden writing it says:

A month has past after the funeral. All in ponyville that was close with Twilight had many problems. They really miss her.
If Rarity make a dress that had to use purple, she just cried. The color reminded her of Twilight.
Futtershy could not stop crying. Discord help her. If Discord did not help she would been there forever.
Applejack has been working more. It helps her take her mind off of this. but she will never forget Twilight. When she looks at the sky she knows that she is looking.
Pinkie Pie tried to be happy when she help with party. But every pony knew what was wrong with her. So they gave her cards to say they where sorry. That made her happy to see she live in the best place.
Rainbow Dash read more, it what Twilight would like to see. But she wanted to kill King Sombra, she hated him. She told Celestia that she wanted to get her revenge. But she did had some moments that she cried everytime she saw a Daring Do book. It reminded her when she first got in to reading, and it was Twilight that got her in it. Soarin notice that Rainbow was very depressed and her talked to her more often. He really liked her, and Dash also too. But they don't know.
Spike had gone in a depressed state. But Starlight was there to help, and Discord. But if he had to make a list, it remind him of Twilight. He stayed in the castle with Starlight
Starlight was hit hard as she ran the school. So much work, she had Spike. He help but she need some pony close to talk. Luckily Sunburst knew, so he help her. She love how Sunburst help her with the school. And Sunburst stayed with Starlight, he really liked her and he wanted to tell her. Starlight hanged out with Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Pinkie, Rarity, and AppleJack. Starlight has found out that she had a connection with the element of magic. But when see where's it, it's not a crown.
As the main six and Spike walked around in ponyville they can't forget her. They stoped at the castle and talked "Well?" said Starlight "What do we do now."
"I have no Ideal" said Applejack.
"Me too." said Fluttershy.
"I know what I'm going to do." said Rainbow "I'm going to find that so call king and kill him!!"
"You can't be serious about that." said Rarity "He is a very powerful Unicorn."
"Doesn't mater!!!!!!" said Rainbow Dash as she teared up.
"You need help Rainbow, If you want to do that" said Pinkie.
"Pinkie right" said Applejack.
"And will do it together" Said Starlight "and for Twilight."

As they hug Spike smelled something burning "You smell that?"
"Smells like like Firewood" said Pinkie. "Hey I feel like I want to eat something. Maybe some hay fries."
"No Pinkie. I think Spike is right. I see smoke." said Starlight
As the seven look up they saw somke. It was coming from the Everfree.
"Sweet Celestia!!!" said Rarity.
"O dear, not the animals." said Fluttershy.
As they ran to see what they say to get close. They saw the Ponyville fire department. "Will take it here girls." said the Stallion Fire Pony.
"But Zecora lives in the EverFree you got to save her." said Pinkie.
"We already have her, everything fine" he said.

"At the hospital."said
"But My house." Said Futtershy

The seven ran to go to the hospital. But they can't believe that the Everfree. They did not know what happen. As they got to the hospital to see Zecora they saw Royal guard at the front of the hospital doors. As they enter Zecora's room and found Celestia there.
"Princess Celestia?" They said.
"A Girls and Spike. I was going to write a letter to Spike. But I can say it here." said Celestia.
"How is Zecora." said Fluttershy.
"She is ok. She just need a nap." Celestia said "But, she did tell me something."
"What was it." said Starlight.
Celestia started to tell them "It was a flash of darkness but it was Sombra. He had dark crystal ponies with him. The crystal ponies had dark magic. They had some free will, they also loyal to Sombra. They broke Zecora's back and some ribs. Sombra used his mind magic to torture Zecora. And He found what he was looking for and burned her hut."
"What was he looking for!" said Rainbow Dash.
"Sombra has the Alicorn Amulet." said Celestia.

Somewhere in the Frozen North, in the Mountains of the North. On Mout Everhoof a new structor, a Castle. No a super city of crystals with a monstrous castle as the center. It was black as night, dark as shadows. More bigger that Canterlot, and The Crystal City put together. At the top of the tower, inside of the tower a Red Crystal heart with dark magic in it. Dark Crystal ponies guard the city to protect the citizens and him . In side the Castle was him, The King Of Shadows, Fear it self, and Ruler of the Krystall Imperium. That was the new name of his new empire, It was in old ponish mean Crystal Empire.
As Sombra walked around in his castle he felt lonely. He wanted her to rule with him, but she did not accepted it. He hope that the Alicorn amulet will work. That it will feed that thing inside her or make her in that thing. As he walked to one of the towers, he was hoping this will not hurt her. There where Crystal Unicorn at the door of the tower. "My King you return." He said with a smile on his face
"Is she ok. Is she not hurt." King Sombra said.
"Yes your greatness" The guard said "She as not move but she as read those books you put in there."
"Good, let me pass." said King Sombra.
With out hesitation the guard open the door for the King Sombra. The tall stairs of the tower was five or six yards up. It did not take a long for Sombra to get to the top as he use his shadow form to get to the top. At the top was a door with a magic lock only can be open with dark magic. He open the door and he saw that beautiful purple alicorn, Twilight Sparkle. She was in chains. Her mane was not as straight as it was. the only then not letting her out as sombra looked at her was crystal-bars
"Hello there Princess. You like your stay here." said Sombra.
She looked at him with hatred "What do you want!!"
"Just seeing my favorite Princess." Sombra replied.
"O, trying to sweet me I won't work." replied Twilight.
"I see but you won't take my offer. Those books you read are ancient books of the crystal empire, Forbidden knowledge of the empire."said Sombra.
"I can see but that won't work. I know you, I read your journal." said Twilight.
"I know. I know when you found the heart the first time." said Sombra.
"So what are you doing here." said Twilight.
"O just going to give you this." he put out the Alicorn Amulet out.
"That won't work. I can just pull it of." said Twilight.
"O you know that. But I was the one that created the Amulet." said Sombra
"What?"she said.
"Yes I did. When the Two Sister where going to attack me I created the Alicorn Amulet. It seems to me that you have seen it's power. But the lock spell can be change, to not be that." said King Sombra, as he put it on Twilight.
Twilight felt pain, she screamed. It was like the Alicorn Amulet was giving her magic.
"O I know your Dark Alicorn form." said Sombra. "It's very different than Celestia's and Luna's. They need rage, you don't. Yes I read your mind. When I yours my mind spell on you to Break You! I saw her, that parasite. It just wants to die. Just accept your fate! The pain will go away. And you will be free. And I will help you. I will forgive you for what I did to you."
As Twilight could not fight the power of the Alicorn Amulet. As she screamed, she was in the center of the room and fainted.
She was in a dream like state. she looked around the room. She knew it was a dream, as she looked the black, orange, red and purple room. It looked like she was in space. Until It was there that thing.
"Why don't you accept this gift that I will give you!" said Midnight.
"Never!!" said Twilight.
"Your friends never love you. Did you remember Sombra telling you that they think you are dead." said Midnight.
"I... know..."Twilight cried out.
"Starlight can use the element of magic but not in its full form. But you can, you can have it all." said Midnight.
"Not in front of my friends. I won't be like nightmare moon!!" said Twilight.
"You won't, not like her. That other weak version of you. You are strong, powerful, and can control magic." said Midnight "What I am giving you is forbidden knowledge. Knowledge of other realities."
"But I don't need you. That alicon amulet as so mush power that I can be free."
"NO." said Twilight.
"With this power I won't be princess like you. But a Queen, now that sound good, I think. Queen Midnight, Queen of Magic ,Darkness, Nightmare, and Forbidden Knowledge. Sounds very good." said Midnight
"MY FREINDS WILL STOP!!!!" said Twilight.
"Will they! Muhaha. Be realist Twilight, after this I will have all the magic of Eqestria." said Midnight and then laughed. Midnight started to drain the magic of the amulet. It was became a part of Midnight. It was painful as Twilight screamed in pain.
Twilight awoke and saw she was still in the room that Sombra looked her in and saw her. "FREEEDOM!!!!!!" said Midnight. Then Twilight fated.

A year has past after the Everfree had that fire. Zecora's hut rebuild, and the main six still questioning why Sombra as not attack. He has his amulet. But they have no idea what he has plan. Princess Celestia still in a puzzled state, as she hope that Prince Shining Armor's plan will work.
"I hope your plan works" said Celestia.
"I hope, the garrison will do there best." said Shining "If they find anything, they will come to me. I hope that Flash finds something"
"Yes sir." Said Flash
"Lieutenant Flash Sentry, just the stallion I was talking about." said Shining.
"What is it sir?" said Flash.
"Flash, I want you to get some ponies and find Twilight. I think she is still alive." said Shining armor.

"In the Crystal City Ruins." said Celestia. "But you must be fast the cold weather is danger you will need to where some special equipment to go in that."

In the Imperium City, of the Krystall Imperium. The King of Shadow look at the city from his castle, the ponies of the empire walk around enjoying there day. He like looking an that but he knew at the cost of the Crystal ponies being free they there corrupted by dark magic. It was the only way to keep them in line. Slavery is a thing but not for ponies, as Sombra knew that the other races are weak, like the yaks and the griffins. The yaks did all the mining in the crystal mines. They became the first to conquer, how else did the get this city like this. Some ponies where in the mines, but they where all crimes. They need there time to pay there debt. He knew that the griffin lands where disorganized , anarchy, and a few warlords. But they had not center government to united them. They will be last to conquer. He hated the dragon lands, they brag about they are the best, and some want to kill ponies. That made his blood boiled in hatred. But they will be conquer, but the empire needs more time. He thought of the changelings, so many they can be a prefect labor force. He just needed to get the leader alive and he will have the prefect slave force. But that so call King Thorax was not good at his job. If Queen Chrysalis was there leader the changelings will be prefect for Sombra's plan. But Grogar will not like what he thinks, and Sombra has a plain from grogar. He will die or spend in tartarus with tirek. And he is the real villain, not these so call lords.
He heard the sound of hooves walking slowly toward him. He knew who that was. As he fell a hoof on His back and she said in a soft like voice in his ear "Is everything fine, dear."
He looked at her. Her dark purple fur face. Her blue and purple eyes and her pupils where small. She had a blue like horn, it was that she had so much magic. Her wings black, she was as tall as he was. She has a six pointed star on her neck. Her mane was black in the middle, mostly dark purple, and some light purple. 'She so prefect' Sombra thought and smiled. She was Twilight, but she is now Midnight Sparkle, Queen of magic, Forbidden Knowledge, ruler of the Krystall Imperium, and Sombra wife.
"Just in joying the view, but nothing is more beautiful than you my lovely Midnight." Sombra said as he got closer to her.
Midnight was blushing "O Sombra, you so romantic."
They gave a kiss to each other on the lips. Midnight loved it when he touches her like that, his front hooves on her shoulders. His tongue was in her mouth, and she loved it. As sombra pulled back, she wanted to stay like that but they knew they needed to breath. She didn't care how long it was, she wanted him. Then she broken to kiss and said. "Sombra what should we do to her."
"Throw her where the old city is. She has no more use for us." said Sombra.

She looked who it was. It was Soarin, she replied. "Hey Soarin."
"Whats wrong" he said.
"Nothing." She replied.
"You don't look like you would say nothing. Rainbow Dash Is there something wrong?" Soarin said.
She replied."I just don't want talk about..." Dash couldn't say it because she wanted to not say it not here.
"Do you want to talk not in the locker room about it we can go outside." said Soarin.
"Ok just let me get done, ok Soain." said Rainbow Dash.
Soarin when out of the locker room and waited for Dash. As Rainbow Dash walked out she said "Hey Soarin let fly to ponyville I can tell you wants wrong as we fly."

As the two fly in the clouds Soarin was worried about Dash. "So what's wrong" said Soarin.
Dash Stoped and landed on a cloud it was had for her to say it "It's just.. I.. I..."
"Rainbow Dash It all right. Just tell me, you can trust me. Like that time you caught me, I trust you so please don't keep it in you." Soarin said as he smiled.
Rainbow Dash was tearing up. "I... I... miss... her. I miss Twilight!?!"
She started to cry out. The cloud she was on turn into a storm cloud. Soarin landed near her and put his hoof on her shoulder. "I know every pony misses her. And your hit the most." Soarin then gave Rainbow a hug. "I'm here for you Dash."
She tried to stop crying and embrace Soarin by hugging him. "Thanks Soarin."
Soarin really like her and he wanted to make her happy so he did the most braves thing ever. "Hey Dash. Can I ask you something."
"Ya Soarin." said Rainbow Dash.
"It's hard to say this but I want to say it now." said Soarin. "I had a crush on you and I like you."
"Really." said Dash as she blush "Will me too."
"Really" said Soarin.
"Ya I think it was that day I first saw you." said Rainbow Dash.
Soarin was blushing. Rainbow Dash was smiled and she was happy. She said and looked as Sorin "Thank you Soarin I knew it that you like me." She kiss him on the side of his face and flew out.
"Wow?" said Soarin seeing his marefriend fly off as his head to her house.

It was almost night in the land of Equestria. It the the Krystall Imperium, in the Imperium city. The green torches light up the city. In the Castle was dark and guards patrol to protect The King and The Queen. As Midnight lay in her bed, her dress was off. She was waiting for Sombra, she still remember this day, the day she was freed, the day she absorb the Alicorn Amulet in to her. It was also seven days until Sombra's and her's Anniversary, the day they got marry. She remember her honeymoon, how Sombra should her how much he really loved her. She wanted him right now.
She hated to wait. 'what's taking him so long! I just want him so mush.' Midnight thought to her self.
She knew he was cleaning him self in the bathroom, but what was talking him so long. Suddenly the door open as Sombra walked out. He had his armor off. She smiled and blushed at her husband. He smiled and blushed. "What is it my Queen." Sombra said.
"O just get in, and I will tell you." Midnight said in a suductive like voice.
Sombra pulled the covers, and Climbed in to bed with his wife. Midnight put her front hooves on her husband's muscular like chest. Then the two shared a passionate kiss. Sombra wrapped one arm around her waist as the kiss deepened. She loved it when his tongue explore her mouth.
"Sombra." she moaned softly after breading the kiss.
Sombra stop and answered. " Yes my dear."
"When will we kill the two sisters. When will I have Celestia's and Luna's power." Midnight said, at the same time purple smoke flow out of her eyes for a sort moment.
"Soon, my beloved Queen." Sombra replied as he gently ran a hoof down her long, dark, and silky mane. "We will soon have our revenge."
She wanted Celestia's and Luna's power. She wanted to control day and night. She wanted to show the world that she and Sombra are truly the greatest rulers.
"Midnight.." Sombra whispered. Reaching up to kiss her once more. Just to take her mind off of it "Don't worried, they will see there end, and Equestria will burn."
Midnight smiled and giggled. "I can't wait." she murmured. Then she move toward his ear and whispered seductively, "And it'll be thanks to you, my love..."
Sombra shuddered when he felt her wet tongue gently lick his ear. He felt her body was warm up and he growled lustfully. Midnight laughed in surprise when she was suddenly flipped around and pressed against the mattress on her back. She loves this when Sombra, does this. Sombra's hovered over her and smashed his lips against her's in a heated French kiss. After breaking the kiss, Sombra stared at his mate. Panting softly. She was so beautiful, she was prefect and she was smiling. She was his dark Queen, the love of his life, and he helped her to be ready for anything that can happen to get there revenge. She was everything he wanted for a queen: strong, powerful, smart, ferocious and beautiful. And he never wanted to see her sad.

As Sombra pulled in and out of his lover. She morned in pleasure. She was bitting her bottom lip as he when faster and she felt like her eyes where going to the back of her head. She wanted to say something to him as he made love to her and she said it out loud. "I love you... Sombra..."
