Meeting Ourselves
A normal day (our Ponyville)
Load Full StoryNext ChapterLotus Moon walks through town with her significant other, Saphirus. It was a normal day of average activities. Grocery shopping, a pleasant lunch together, talking about their day together, etc. Nothing too far out of the ordinary. When they came back to the ethereal realm, they went straight to the kitchen.
"I will never get used to that. How did you even manage to do all this?" Saphirus asked.
"Well three mares spawned from one mind can't very well be contained in one (confined) space. And I had to tweak the space a bit. I mean...I don't want another Magical Mishap incident." Lotus rolled her eyes. "That was a doozy to untangle. And I hope Lily has learned her lesson."
"From what you told me happened, I can only hope so too. Well at least nothing crazy will happen any time soon, right? Well, not that level of crazy but, normal crazy. Like dealing with monster attacks on a near daily basis." Saphirus laughed.
"That, I can handle. I'm just happy we got to spend this time together, my love." Lotus nuzzled Saphirus' neck as they reached the kitchen. As they put everything away, Saphirus glanced at the magical empty space outside the dining area.
"So...can you do anything else with the rest of the space out there? Or will it just stay empty?" He asked.
"Oh, I can do whatever I want with it, really. We all can. Just never thought to." Lotus shrugged, checking the cider storage. "This is a magical space after all where three unicorns live. We can do anything here."
"So all this time we could have had private dates here?" He smirked.
"Yes, we c-" Lotus blinked and glanced back at Saphirus with a deadpan look. "I can hear that smirk in your voice, you cheeky stallion. Yes, we could have had private dates here. But I thought two things. That it eventually would be spoiling you...and that maybe one day, we'd have a date here. But I thought you'd like having normal dates for a while."
Saphirus walked over to the door while Lotus was talked and tapped it. "Why not do something with it? Like, say...an open beach with a gazebo?"
"You really wanna have a date out here, don't you." Lotus stared at him with pursed lips, receiving a puppy-eyed stare with her beloved. "Fiiiiiine! We'll have a date here now. Just give me a second."

The sea breeze sprayed lightly and the soothing sound of the ocean filled their ears as Lotus and Saphirus lounged on the beach with a light picnic in front of them. Saphirus looked like a happy child on Hearths Warming while Lotus looked a bit exhausted. "I could get used to this." Saphirus beamed.
"Don't get used to it. This takes a lot of magic and I would have to create the space ahead of time for it to be ready. And since it's an open space, I'd rather not leave and come back to find that Lily made some alterations." Lotus sighed.
"Well, either way, I like it. Though for your sake, I won't ask for this as much. Just special occasions. Like our birthday or anniversary or something." He shrugged, kissing her horn, making Lotus shudder.
"You know that makes me feel weird. Unicorn horns are sensitive." Lotus whined.
"Well, I could kiss you somewhere else." He purred, leaning in.
Just before their lips touched, there was a quake that shook the whole place. Lotus jumped up and dashed to an open area. Saphirus by her side. "What the hell is going on?! Lily what have you done now?!!"
"Don't blame this on me!" Lily shouted from her room.
A bright light ripped through the realm and opened similar to a portal. Two figures could be seen on the other side and coming closer. When they were in view, Lotus felt like the world just dropped from under her. "Oh...my...Celestia...is that...us?"
