NEXT DAY Red’s POV

I woke up just before the sun rises and I looked around my room and at my side was Purple sleeping soundly and a smile on her face I kissed her forehead before getting out of bed and getting ready for the day ahead of me.

I walked over to purple and sat on the edge of the bed and I gently caressed her cheek. “Purple it’s time to wake up,” I said as I leaned down and kissed her check.

"Uhhhh! Go away I'm sleepy." Purple said as she rolled over.

“Come on, our gems are waiting for us do I have to lift you out of bed because I will or I could do other things to get you moving,” I said, shaking her a bit.

"The first one, that sounds nice." She said sleepily.

I grinned and suddenly picked her up out of the bed princess style. “Ok then but if I accidentally touch something don't blame me.” I said.

She just grumbled something as she went back to sleep in my arms and I gently set her on the bed and thought of something.

“Hey purple if you don't get up you're going to be late for the wedding.” I said with a convincing worrying tone in my voice.

Purple shot up like a bullet and said in a panicked voice " why didn't you wake me up sooner? I don't want to be late...wait that's not till next week! You tricked me." She said as she punched my arm and pouted.

“Yeah I know but we have to get everything arranged we have to decide a location who is going to be the priest the invitations and the decorations as well so we can't waste time.” I said to her and I made new clothes for myself I was now wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans.

"You know I could use a change of pace too." Purple said as she made a very beautiful dress that cascaded down her body.

I just looked at her and she was gorgeous and then I said. “You fill that out quite nicely.” I said and walked over to her and placed my hands on her hips and said. “If this was our wedding night I would take you here and now.” I said and gave her a quick kiss.

All Purple did was turn around and with more sway of her hips than necessary walked out of the room.

“Damn she might drive me insane before our wedding night.” I said and I was struggling enough to keep my libido down just from looking at her in that dress and I left the room as well to do what I had to do first I had to perform my duties as diamond and make more gems for the colony then I had to make preparations for the wedding then from their I have to help some gems with whatever they need may it be sexual or not.

I created gems after gem and had then put in another place so they could not be affected by my passion aura and then I found a rather strange gem and I kind of like it so I decided to see how this one forms thought I should be ready to have a little fun and I used my Passion aura to breathe life into the gem and I waited and then it started to form into a beautiful young lady.

She lifted her dress a bit and said. “Hello father.” She said with a bow and I could see her lust filled eyes and I walked up to her and lifted her head a bit.

“I know what you want to do but we cant for now so you must join you fellow gems for now.” I said and she obeyed and left and it was time to make preparations and I followed her out of the tower.

After making all the invites and sending them it was now time to help the gems and I looked forward to that.

First I went to see Bloodstone i was going to ask if she could be my best gem Pearl was one of Purples bridesmaids so she was out of the question.

“Hey Bloodstone can you be my best gem for my wedding?” I asked and she jumped at me with a grin on her face.

“YES YES YES!” She screamed and the gems around looked at her with jealousy in their eyes.

“You girls don't get jealous now this doesn't mean that I like her any more than you.” I said and they went back to what they were doing and now I was going to check on purple.

Purple was nowhere to be found and I finished all my work for today so I thought of what to do next so I just decided to give the princesses a visit and I walked outside and turned into a dragon and started flying towards the city built into the mountain.

After reaching the castle after an hour of flying I landed and turned back into myslef still keeping the wings and tail and I walked inside and it seems they told the guards about me because they let me in without saying anything and I walked to what looked like a throne room and I could hear voices inside.

Luna looked beautiful today but I didn't want to upset Purple so I said. “I am Red Diamond.” I said introducing myself.

"Alright but I'm watching you Full Moon!" Purple said and Luna smiled

“You know I wouldn't have done it so you don't have to let this get you so angry.” I said and I gave her a hug. Ever so slowly her rage aura subsided but it was replaced by an aquamarine aura that I have never seen before.

“What is this?” I asked.

With a self-pitying tone Purple said "leave me be. And what's what?" Purple asked.

“The aura your creating.” I said pointing it out to her causing her to gasp.

"I have no clue and that has me scared." Purple said and it changes to a yellow aura.

“Just calm down Purple I think your emotions are creating these new auras.” I said and she looked at me. “That’s right just look at me and nothing else and just calm down.”

"I am calm, I am calm, I am calm…." Purple kept repeating it like a mantra until she stopped exuding an aura all together.

“Look let’ s get out of here and maybe after the wedding you can make Luna jealous that you have me and she doesn't.” I said with a chuckle and she smiled and nodded and we flew home after that to get some rest.

{Next morning Purples POV}

“You really are going to drive me crazy before the wedding and I will only play nice if they respect you I don't care what they say about me but when they disrespect you that's when I get mad, that ok?” Red said.

"No that's not ok. I can look out for myself with nobles I grew up around those brown nosers of 'gems' on homeworld for a few years in Mothers place so I think I can handle a couple of noble 'ponies'." I said with an air of finality.

“I know but you know it’s in my nature to protect those I care about.” He said and hugged me and wrapped his wings around both of us.

I pushed away from him and said. "I know it is but I'm the diplomat here and I can handle it." and he kissed me before we walked out of the room.

{Throne room 3rd person}

Standing in the throne room are two unicorn stallions one in a suit and the other in unique guards armor.

"Announcing her openness, daughter of Black Diamond, holder of power over air, her Majesty the illustrious Princess Purple Diamond." Purple Pearl heralded.

Red pearl cleared her throat before saying. “Announcing his Highness the passionate, the Lord of Fire Prince Red Diamond.” Re pearl say with a bow and the doors opened to show the two diamonds.

"WHAT THEY ARE ROYALTY!" The unicorn stallion with a white coat and blue mane and tail wearing the unique set of guards armor yelled.

“Yes they are, the diamonds have always been on top of the gem hierarchy.” Red Pearl and Purple Pearl both said with a smile.

"Yes Captain Shining Armor if you had bothered to pay attention during the mission briefing instead of staring at Princess Cadence's breasts you would have known that." The unicorn stallion in the suit said calmly but with a hint of a smile causing the guard captain now identified as Shining Armor to sheepishly smile and blush. "I am Sir Fancy Pants knight of Equestria and noble to Ponyville."

Purple curtsied to Sir Fancy Pants. "A pleasure to make your acquaintance Sir Knight. To what do we owe the pleasure."

"Please call me Fancy Pants, Your Grace I came here today because I heard you were looking for a place to hold a wedding for your retainers and I decided to offer my estate in Ponyville for the event."

“That is perfect now all we need are decorations and for Cadence to show up then everything is ready and I can send a letter to Pinkie pie to make a cake for us.” Red said and you could hear a pin drop in the throne room.

"Excuse me your Majesties but by 'us' you don't mean you two do you?" Shining Armor asked pointing at Red and Purple.

“Well yes me and Purple Diamond are the ones getting married I thought you were told by Celestia?” Red said a little confused.

"Who...Whaaa...But...uhhhhhhh!" Fancy Pants said as he tried to pick his brain up off the floor. Finally pulling himself together he begins to speak again. "No we were told it was two of your retainers getting hitched but this is joyous news. I would personally like to finance the remainder of the costs and reimburse you for the cost of your expenses thus far and you can still use my estate to hold the wedding."

"No we can cover it while we have been mining for gems we found gold that we can't turn into crystal gems and we are running low on space as it is." Red said before being elbowed in the ribs by Purple and the words 'be nice' mouthed at him and he nodded.

“But we can cover it.” Red said then an idea struck him. "Purple has Black Pearl returned from scattering you mothers powdered gem yet?” Red asked Purple.

"Yes she returned just yesterday. I know what your thinking and I like it. BLACK PEARL!" Purple yelled.

"You called sister? Did you need something?" Black Pearl asked as she entered the room.

"We need you to go with Fancy Pants to help with preparations for the wedding." Red asked.

"Is that your wish sister for me to go with this 'pony' to prepare your wedding?" Black Pearl asked with a hint of venom on the word pony.

Red looked at Black pearl with a curious look in his eye. “Black Pearl do you have something against ponies?” He asked.

"They stole Black's Powder from me and poofed me." Black Pearl said as she started to cry.

Purple got on one knee and hugged Balck pearl and shushed her as she cried and those around her could tell she was trying to suppress her anger. Captain Armor looked confused and asked.

“Was this powder important in some way?” He asked causing Black Pearl to look at him with anger in her eyes.

"WAS IT IMPORTANT, WAS IT IMPORTANT? OF COURSE IT WAS IMPORTANT IT WAS THE POWDERED GEM OF MY DIAMOND!!!!" Black Pearl yelled so loud it rivaled the RCV tears streaming down her face.

"If it's so important the royal guards have your back we'll help you find it," Shining said.

After a moment, the room was slowly enveloped by a magenta aura and Balck pearls tears slowly faded as her rage and sadness dissipated and Purple looked around and realized this was her doing and the aura disappeared.

"Excuse me but your Majesties what was that?" Sir Fancy Pants asked with a look of confusion that was mirrored by Shining Armor.

Red cleared his throat and said" I can answer that you see we diamonds are unique among the gems while gems may vary in color they have the same abilities if they are the same type of gem but that is not true with us diamonds each one of us has our own unique powers and abilities my powers give me power over fire and magma and i can create two auras but purple is likely the most unique among us she can to an extant copy the powers of another diamond and that ability seems to be evolving as of late and it appears she lost control of her power for a moment due to her emotions they have a powerful effect on her powers so whatever she was feeling right then was made into an aura that she used instinctively similar to blues aura which makes gems sad but hers made us gems happy and feel at peace." Red explained Purple then proceeded to get up and run out of the throne room.

"I better go after her black can you wait here with Fancy and Shining while I go calm her down?" Red asked Black Pearl who proceeded to nod in the affirmative.

{POV change Red}

I ran after Purple and I found her in our room crying on the bed and I sat next to her and put a hand on her shoulder.

"Purple are you ok, talk to me." I said to her.

"NO, I'M NOT 'OK'! I just did the one thing I said I would never do." Purple said

"You mean the aura you made it wasn't that bad and I think Black Pearl needed it did you see how much this was affecting her if it wasn't for you it would still be tearing her up inside," I told her but she didn't seem to be listening.

"Look." I said "I know how much you hate manipulating gems with your aura but sometimes we have to do bad things for the good of others trust me i speak from experience." I said and rubbed her shoulder causing her to turn and cry into mine.

"Shush shush it's ok let it out." I said as I draped a wing around her and let her cry.
