The Young Six are trapped in the caverns below the School of Friendship, each forced to complete a task that pits them against their own psyche; their fears confront them and their resolve is tested. Without their friends to help them, they must rely on their own strength of character.

Ocellus, the meek and shy Changeling, is trapped alone. At least, she hopes she's alone. The cave around her looks awfully familiar, and if it's where she thinks it is, then the company that she'd have would be awful. Worse than awful. It'd be nightmarish.

Written as an entry for the September 2019 selfcest competition, where it placed first. Characters are humanised with certain animal-ish features. This story is a re-imagining of the events of "What Lies Below", if the title wasn't enough to tip you off.
