Game Introduction & Mechanics
Load Full StoryNext ChapterHello there, wonderful people of the internet!
Before I would like to get started, there are a couple things that I would like to say;
Number one, thanks for tuning into my latest story. Really, thank you.
Number two, this game is quite long and tricky at times, so bare with me.
Alright, now onto the game mechanics.
What is this so called game? Well, it’s quite simple. All you have to do, is figure out the correct letters that correspond to the secret you’re looking for, and type it in your browser. Simple. But, how you get there, isn’t. So let me break it down for you.
In the story, there is something that’s called encryptions. These encryptions come in all shapes or sizes, and can be seen throughout the entire course of the story. It could be from font sizes, to Italian font, to even underlined words. Your task is to find the correct letters, and thus type it in your browser.
But at first, the story seems to have no encryptions. And you’re correct. Starting from today, I will be randomly placing encryptions inside the chapters that have been published inside of this story from time to time. Any chapter could be updated multiple times, adding diversity into the mix. To help out, I will be posting blog posts about the updates, specifically talking about the chapters that have been updated. Think of it like a patch note for a game.
There is no time frame on when I will update or post a story. Sorry about that. I’ll do my best to keep it fresh once in a while.
Here are the ground rules;
1. This chapter, the blog posts, and the finished decrypted secret does not have a secret nor any encryptions inside of it. Neither does any other story that doesn’t correspond towards this one.
2. Encryptions will never come in one word, and for diversity, will be spread out to different letters in different words inside of this story. For example, this is not an encryption, but the ‘t’ inside the with the Italian font is.
3. Encryptions come in all shapes and sizes. Don’t underestimate an encryption.
4. Every secret has it’s own type of encryption. No two secrets hold the same pattern.
5. Once finished, type it in your browser with a ‘.com’ at the back of it. The secret will always come in form of text, and not video, or gif, or anything else.
Well, that’s it and that’s all for the game introduction. Good luck!
