restless.

she never answered.

i didn’t care. i didn’t want it.

the smiles. ones that i see, are full of bliss. yes, i see it. bliss.

happiness shining bright at me. full attention are being played towards, but i can’t feel any. almost everyone is staring at me here, but it’s numb. the wide faces they bring, cascades pure bliss.

i feel emptiness however.

the vanguard, Starlight, now supreme leader, looks down at me. her expression, it’s memorable. cuts my dignity and self respect in half. that slack brow, that slick disgrace look.

‘are you ready, my Princess?’

“no.”

‘.....oh? still resilient?’

“...”

‘unfortunate. just unfortunate. you know, i thought we could be friends together, talk about this slowly.’

“shut up.”

‘but what can i do. it’s not like i can manipulate you.’

i remain silent. let her talk.

‘but them?’

she chuckled.

i grunted.

a quick and relentless left hook of her hoof points to what she meant.

expectations were faster, though.

‘too easy.’

ouch. that, felt.

bad.

‘oh well, another day is another day, i guess. lock her up, boys!’

comes her assistants, here to throw me back in that rotting cell. there was only two of them, but i was quick to learn, never to underestimate small numbers.

struggling didn’t helped at all. they grabbed me, and threw me inside. the impact created a loud crack;

with the addition of an immense pain.

in my mind, was just pain.

pain, pain, pain.

Starlight looked back at me, screaming inside of the little cube i was in.

laughing.

not a care about me.
not a care about the world.

behind her,

not a single Element.

friend.

betrayer.

i inspected the broken hoof. it was limp, no movement being forth out. it was for the best, i guess. i couldn’t move it at all, at best a little jolt, then it immediately died down.

never i knew, but a soft, warm liquid trickled down at my cheeks.

i made myself a ball, and the force of the closing doors blew me a hard chill.

i chuckled.

i screamed.

i closed my eyes.

the pain was infinitely increasing.

i press my chest with adequate force.

the liquid trickled.

down,

and down it goes,

from the cheeks

to the sagged floor.

i screamed.

it was omitted.

finally, i had a solution.
an explanation.

i was crying.

but never was i expected to question,

‘what is crying?’
