Maybe even share it with your friends. *wink* thrive. she said she was going to get help. she said that she was going to help to get help. that was her saying. i looked up, in response a sharp back pain towards my neck, and checked the clock hanging in the wall, arrowing a number. 6. six hours ago. six hours after she left. and she’s still not here. now i beg the answer. where is it? where’s help? where? ‘stay here. you’re too weak. i’ll try to find anypony worth, then we’ll go get you out in no time.’ those words. it brings light inside of my heart. i still remember it from the up top right before she escapes from this chilling, undignified cubed prison. the sun rises slowly, in the peripheral of my vision from the glossy mirror, keeping me in sight of light. the sight of sunlight is expected enough, but the wait for it was undated. where are you, Rainbow? it’s been 6 hours. sure, i can assume that you got caught red handed, but that’s too hard to burden. assuming total isolation to outside life- fuck, life in general, is unspeakable, even in the minds of such intelligent. my head and my body aches with every limp movement. there is nobody to help me calm myself down, as i continue to shiver in the empty and small corner i placed myself in. the tiles are cold, the walls are cold, this prison is cold. worst of all, there’s nobody for me to talk to. nobody to remedy the broken heart that once was perfected. once. before all of them left. honesty, generosity, kindness, laughter. all of them. except for you. i can’t let you go. even if everyone did. but yet, you can leave me. i just hope that you didn’t. .......... ......... ........ ....... ...... ..... .... ... .. . you didn’t, did you, beholder of the Element of Loyalty, Rainbow Dash? did you? //-------------------------------------------------------// assistance. //-------------------------------------------------------// Author's Note Bang. Second one. Third’s gonna have dilemma. See you until then. assistance. no amount of sleep could i have possess. it’s just too hard. sleeping’s too hard. when you have about a million things in your damn head to think about, nothing else matters. there’s simply no substitute. it haunts you till your bones break. and you can’t- no, don’t want it to leave. for it to go away is for more problems to go to you. but in the heavy mist that is my mind, i await something. something to come over to my prison, to open my shackles and let me out of the hell i am in. even in so much pain, hunger, thirst, anger, and despair, i still have patience. and it does arrives. a knock didn’t exist. a swing of the heavy wooden doors did. it bursts open, revealing what i see is civilised life, and my brand ‘new’ and still on the verge to kill nemesis, Starlight Glimmer. my brain went haywire, containing nothing but words spattered in content of pure madness. i didn’t say anything out loud, not even a flick of a whisper. everything is contained in the depths of my soul. ‘whyissheheresheisthereasonwhyiaminthismesswhycan’tijustkillheralreadythisisgettingtofarimustavengemyfriendsfindthemandbringthembackdestroyhergetmycutiemarkbackand end it all.’ i know for a fact that’s all impossible. almost a week’s time without food. half of that time without water. and i expect myself to fight a full grown, well fit and powerful mare? not even a chance. she forces me to get out of my cell, granted i didn’t have the strength to do so. several ponies had to take me out myself, and get me on my feet, which is harder than it looks. i stand on my four hooves, barely maintaining stability and balance. tripping over a small pebble would’ve meant me passing out entirely, and i wouldn’t want that, would i? she and a few other ‘blanks’, as i prefer to call them, stand behind her, making Starlight the vanguard of the whole. she, too, has a equal sign at her flank, i see as unreasonable. this has to stop. once and for all. this has all been so casual. it regularly happens, depending on how strong willed she is. ...this one was harder. tougher to handle. the burden? my friends. they’re all there. with her. her. my heart drops, damning how she is still in one piece. never was there any bruises, marks nor spells remnants that signed her backstabbing. what did they do to her? why did she fall into her grasp? why is it me that’s always taking the blow? rhetorical, but feasible. never was i a doubt towards you. all i beg is an answer. ‘why?’ it remains silent. nothing but i muttered my forte to her. but it came as whispering hollows. pillowed and encased in a facade of deception. ‘is it too much?’ //-------------------------------------------------------// alone. //-------------------------------------------------------// Author's Note Sorry for the long haul, here you go. alone. ....and another. 3 weeks. 19 crosses. lines. segments? fuck it. by this point, the wall had been half full. my hooves, sore. broken, even. that also got me thinking. it wasn’t a good thought of course. but i had to: what about the castle? who is taking care of it? who will be my replacement? had there been a replacement? or the hole is still empty? most of all, where is my saviour? a vanguard is the most important person. taking in the front lines. no, being the grand meaning front of front liners. when a vanguard goes, they go. where the vanguard goes, they go. what now? where’s the proof? we play an important role in the castle. us 6 will help rule the nation, protecting it from imminent doom. changelings. sombra. Nightmare herself. the queen of deception. the chaos god. what more? nobody ever helped. we never needed help. but now, we do. i do. it never came. was it destiny? fate? death itself? whatever it is, i accept my fate. my fate of the last of my days. who knew that i would rot to hell inside here. on that fact, who knew that of all the mischief we had to go through, this is where we fall. who ever knew? i didn’t, and neither no one. was it all due to our destiny’s removal? meaning, our fate and victory has been to that all along? ... that’s... true. no doubt about it. if we can survive everything, from discarded gods, to a whole nation’s army, but not a small prison made to break a person’s will? and how the hell did they fall for it? words cannot describe it. it can only measure. disgrace, disgust, hatred, malicious, forgiveness. //-------------------------------------------------------// cry. //-------------------------------------------------------// Author's Note This is a lot more confusing now, but it all makes sense if y’look at it in a more mentally depressed state. Cool? Cool. Enjoy. cry. i remember it all. the time went it turned south. hoping to change the future, only to make it worst. she left the rotten hole we were trapped in. and we all trusted her with our damn hearts. the thought is more painful than the experience they say. i’ll never forget that again. soon, they all left, one by one. i was the one who resisted the urge of falling. they never listened. i guess our intentions were nevertheless different this entire time. should i have trusted them then, i ask myself. one question out of the millions. i was the one who saved them. and this is their response. they were never qualified for my liking. they never did. they never had. all that’s left of me is now what resists me from the grasp of undeniable ~~reality~~. i take back my words. is this reality? can it ever be? what is reality? the thoughts of my head are now floating, as if drunk on acid. i enjoyed the ride, bliss of anger and despair showering me. nothing but comfort in the delusion of pain. the caterpillar and the butterfly, the same yet the different. //-------------------------------------------------------// Game Introduction & Mechanics //-------------------------------------------------------// Game Introduction & Mechanics Hello there, wonderful people of the internet! Before I would like to get started, there are a couple things that I would like to say; Number one, thanks for tuning into my latest story. Really, thank you. Number two, this game is quite long and tricky at times, so bare with me. Alright, now onto the game mechanics. What is this so called game? Well, it’s quite simple. All you have to do, is figure out the correct letters that correspond to the secret you’re looking for, and type it in your browser. Simple. But, how you get there, isn’t. So let me break it down for you. In the story, there is something that’s called encryptions. These encryptions come in all shapes or sizes, and can be seen throughout the entire course of the story. It could be from font sizes, to Italian font, to even underlined words. Your task is to find the correct letters, and thus type it in your browser. But at first, the story seems to have no encryptions. And you’re correct. Starting from today, I will be randomly placing encryptions inside the chapters that have been published inside of this story from time to time. Any chapter could be updated multiple times, adding diversity into the mix. To help out, I will be posting blog posts about the updates, specifically talking about the chapters that have been updated. Think of it like a patch note for a game. There is no time frame on when I will update or post a story. Sorry about that. I’ll do my best to keep it fresh once in a while. Here are the ground rules; 1. This chapter, the blog posts, and the finished decrypted secret does not have a secret nor any encryptions inside of it. Neither does any other story that doesn’t correspond towards this one. 2. Encryptions will never come in one word, and for diversity, will be spread out to different letters in different words inside of this story. For example, this is not an encryption, but the ‘t’ inside the with the Italian font is. 3. Encryptions come in all shapes and sizes. Don’t underestimate an encryption. 4. Every secret has it’s own type of encryption. No two secrets hold the same pattern. 5. Once finished, type it in your browser with a ‘.com’ at the back of it. The secret will always come in form of text, and not video, or gif, or anything else. Well, that’s it and that’s all for the game introduction. Good luck! //-------------------------------------------------------// restless. //-------------------------------------------------------// Author's Note Here you go folks. Enjoy. restless. she never answered. i didn’t care. i didn’t want it. the smiles. ones that i see, are full of bliss. yes, i see it. bliss. happiness shining bright at me. full attention are being played towards, but i can’t feel any. almost everyone is staring at me here, but it’s numb. the wide faces they bring, cascades pure bliss. i feel emptiness however. the vanguard, Starlight, now supreme leader, looks down at me. her expression, it’s memorable. cuts my dignity and self respect in half. that slack brow, that slick disgrace look. ‘are you ready, my Princess?’ “no.” ‘.....oh? still resilient?’ “...” ‘unfortunate. just unfortunate. you know, i thought we could be friends together, talk about this slowly.’ “shut up.” ‘but what can i do. it’s not like i can manipulate you.’ i remain silent. let her talk. ‘but them?’ she chuckled. i grunted. a quick and relentless left hook of her hoof points to what she meant. expectations were faster, though. ‘too easy.’ ouch. that, felt. bad. ‘oh well, another day is another day, i guess. lock her up, boys!’ comes her assistants, here to throw me back in that rotting cell. there was only two of them, but i was quick to learn, never to underestimate small numbers. struggling didn’t helped at all. they grabbed me, and threw me inside. the impact created a loud crack; with the addition of an immense pain. in my mind, was just pain. pain, pain, pain. Starlight looked back at me, screaming inside of the little cube i was in. laughing. not a care about me. not a care about the world. behind her, not a single Element. friend. betrayer. i inspected the broken hoof. it was limp, no movement being forth out. it was for the best, i guess. i couldn’t move it at all, at best a little jolt, then it immediately died down. never i knew, but a soft, warm liquid trickled down at my cheeks. i made myself a ball, and the force of the closing doors blew me a hard chill. i chuckled. i screamed. i closed my eyes. the pain was infinitely increasing. i press my chest with adequate force. the liquid trickled. down, and down it goes, from the cheeks to the sagged floor. i screamed. it was omitted. finally, i had a solution. an explanation. i was crying. but never was i expected to question, ‘what is crying?’
