SHOW PREPERATION!

"Have we got those lights up yet? COME ON PONIES! We need to be live in an hour!" A unicorn with a clipboard had been walking around, her white flank adorned with three diamonds. As she strolled the backstage, she went to a door marked 'TALENT' on it and opened it, revealing a large room with different ponies, Diamond Dogs, Griffons, and other creatures either suiting up for action or talking with the wrestlers. "ONE HOUR UNTIL SHOWTIME, LADIES AND GENTLECOLTS!" She shrieked, before she started walking away, until a pink pony in face paint and tassels on her legs came right in front of her face.

"You need to know one thing! I come here with the power of the WarPinkie's, from a spaceship loaded with the rocket fuel of the gods! The normal ponies cannot handle such power! This power that pumps through the veins, through the power of the Ultimate WarPinkie!" The white unicorn grimaced as the 'Ultimate WarPinkie' gave a loud SKRONK and proceeded to run through the halls and out of sight.

The unicorn was again ready to leave when she went face to face with her friend Twilight Sparkle. Twilight was dressed in a very professional blue suit and looked extremely dissatisfied at the crazy act that she just witnessed. "Twilight, dear, what appears to be the matter?"

Twilight straightened her head and kept her cool look, "To be honest, I do not believe that we should be wrestling at all, Miss Rarity. Such vulgar violence and debauchery! Instead of little fillies reading a story or playing outside, they would rather watch two ponies get hurt in the middle of the ring! I trust that you do understand the consequences of teaching the small children that fighting resolves matters, rather than logic and understanding, is very unprofessional and unfortunate. I will be sure to continue my complaint letters to Celestia until she changes her mind about doing this."

With that, Twilight went about her way, soon followed after by Spike, the small purple dragon.

Rarity could tell already that this was certainly going to be a new experience already. She and the girls did agree to help Princess Celestia with a project that she had wanted to do, and each of them were given a 'Wrestling Name' and personality that they all had to fall into accordance with. Rarity was lucky, she managed to get the 'Show GM' title and could overview all of the work and talent that would roll in. She was already enjoying it.

"I AM NOT GOING OUT THERE AND ACTING LIKE A STRIPPER!"

Rarity cringed, if anypony was taking the worst of the situation, it was Rainbow Dash, now named 'The Dashing One' Rainbow. Her gimmick was that she was a proud and beautiful pony that would flaunt her looks everywhere. The only other one that may have been having it just as bad was, 'Triple X' Fluttershy. Rarity hadn't seen her, but the gimmick she got was that she was the mastermind that carried a sledgehammer.

"At least we've got some of the girls ready for the shooow..." Rarity was stopped in front of a giant Diamond Dog, he wore black wrestling tights that seemed scratched around his knees. Beside the Diamond Dog was a female Diamond Dog that wore a red suit jacket and matching wide brim hat.

"Pardon me, miss," The lady spoke up, but Rarity's eyes still were locked on the male. His eyes seemed to glisten evilly and she could see the corners of his lips betraying a smile. "Excuse me, would you mind looking at me, instead of my client, Jay Wulf?"

Rarity forced her eyes off of Jay and to the female who held out a paw, "I am Seeing Red, and I was told to find you, Rarity?"

Rarity took the paw of Seeing and shook it, "Yes, a pleasure." Her eyes again shifted to Jay and back to Seeing, "What did you need to see me for?"

Jay shifted his shoulders and his bones snapped loudly, causing Rarity to shiver. Seeing Red gave a pat to Jay's abs and gave a confident smirk to Rarity, "We would like to have our own locker room, and a main event match for tonight. Can you arrange this for us?"

Rarity forced herself to stand her ground, "I will not be able to do such things until Princess Celestia can see what the initial reaction of the show will come out to be."

Seeing Red kept her look of confidence as she lowered her head just enough for her eyes to meet the edge of her hat as she kept looking at Rarity, "How unfortunate, I guess we'll wait then." She pointed Jay to the locker room and then revealed a CD in her coat. "Would you be as so kind as to play this when my client is ready to enter the ring? Thank you." She flicked the disk at Rarity, who only barely got hit by the flying projectile before stopping it with her magic.

The moment she saw no sight of Seeing Red, Rarity's anger could finally be let out. "Such a rude lady, and with a brute like him!"

"I hear ya," Rarity's ears picked up on the southern drawl of her friend, Applejack, now named Apple 'The Jack'. She didn't need to change much on her own gimmick, being an All-Equestrian mare that believed in Jackamania. Rarity turned to Applejack and noticed the yellow and red ensemble, it looked rather good on her. She had a shirt that read 'Jack Rules' in red letters and looked ready to be torn off at any moment. "I hope you ain't sweatin' too hard about the job ya got, Rarity. You've got a lot of talent to take care of."

Rarity gave a thankful smile that she had other ponies to trust in the event that somepony would lose his mind. "We should be ready in another 30 minutes, and by then, we'll have the announcers, the interviewers, and all the camera crew ready."

Applejack gave a nod and cracked her hooves, "Hopefully this is just a one day thing, I enjoy me a good match, but I'd rather be apple buckin'."

Applejack walked off and Rarity went to her office. When she entered, she was greeted by the sight of Princess Celestia and Luna, both of them wearing headsets and watching an old match.

"FORSOOTH! THINE PONY HAS A CHAIR!" screamed Luna, making the walls of the office shake.

"Luna, there's no need to shout, the microphone can get your voice perfectly if you're speaking normally," Celestia tried to settle down Luna before her eyes went back to the match. "Right in the muzzle! And he's going to feel that in the morning!"

"Pardon me, but may I ask why the two of you are... commentating?" Rarity inquired, making the duo turn to her before returning the attention back to the screen.

"We art practicing," Luna spoke up as the match ended.

"You're looking at your ringside commentators for tonight, don't worry, we've made sure to keep the normal duties under wraps," Celestia quipped, nonchalantly.

"RINGSIDE ANNOUNCERS! THE PRINCESSES?!" Rarity could feel the lightheaded oncoming of fainting approaching.

"Well, we couldn't be interviewers. Apparently it was taken by your sister and her little friends," Celestia switched off the TV and noticed the look on Rarity's face. "You feeling the first show jitters? I'm sure I've got something to keep you calm..."

Rarity finally collapsed on a couch, right in front of the desk.

"Is she okay?" Luna asked, looking over Celestia's shoulder.

Celestia smiled, "This show is going to be so much fun..."
