Exploring the new world

Previous Chapter

AN: Hello and welcome to the next chapter in the Chimera outcast story, I apologize for the delay in publishing new chapters, but things have been crazy for me and I have not had time to write as much so you will have to bear with me.

Disclaimer: I do not own Naruto or Mlp both are owned by their respective people or groups, nor do I own any mentioned games unless mentioned by myself.

Naruto awoke in a dilapidated building; he rubbed his head as the recent memory of being pulled into the darkness by Perfect Elixir. He slowly got to his feet and checked himself to see if anything was missing and to make sure he was not wounded in any way. Once he has done, he headed outside to examine where he had landed.

As Naruto headed outside, he saw he was in a ruined city, it looked like it had gone through a war or some other apocalyptic event. What was odd was the entire city was only colored in shades of gray, the sky was also a dark gray with what Naruto believed to be a black sun hanging in the sky.

Naruto climbed a nearby ladder to get a better view of the surrounding area, from what he could see the city seemed to go on endlessly in all directions. In some areas, parts of the town had risen in the air as if they were built and large hills and still connected with each other in one large segment.

One thing remained the same for each of the building was all of them were in ruined states of decay, this entire area did not make any sense to Naruto in any form. Naruto knew he had to explore the city if he wanted to find a way back home and to the ones he loves.

“What in the world is this place? Where did that portal take too and how do I get back home?” Naruto thought to himself.

As Naruto moved through the city, he noticed the sun remained in the same spot, it never seemed to move at all despite how much time had seemed to pass since his arrival in the city.

As Naruto explored the area, he found no signs of life from anyone besides himself, he also felt no signs of hunger or thirst despite not eating or drinking anything for hours. Naruto could only guess that it had to deal with this strange world, it must have its own set of rules that he will have to discover for himself.

After heading in several different directions and leaving markers to retrace his steps Naruto decided it was time to head back to base which was the building, he had woken up in. Naruto thought it was best to use it as a base due to it where he found himself after being spat out by the portal.

As he got near his base Naruto began to sense strange energy nearby, he rushed forward hoping to discover what the energy was and if it could help him get back home.

As he got closer to the energy, Naruto noticed that it did not feel like magic from Equestria. It was a different kind of energy but like magic in a way. Naruto soon found himself at the location where the strange energy was coming from, but he saw nothing that explained the energy he could feel.

The location that the energy was coming from was a ruined building, the inside of the building was destroyed leaving only the outer shell left standing. As Naruto moved closer to the entrance the energy surged more, a bright light lit up the building as soon as he reached the threshold of the building.

When the light died down something new had appeared in the middle of the building, it was an orb of darkness constantly moving and shifting around but never moving away from the orb itself. The orb gave of the same energy that he had been following which only raised more questions in Naruto’s mind.

“What in the world is going on here? I follow the energy trail to this building only for this orb to appear, none of this is making any sense at all,” Naruto said as he threw his hands up in the air in frustration.

Naruto shook his head and started heading back to his base to figure out what to do next. He did not want to chance to mess with the strange orb. He was already in a tough situation as-is no point in making it worse than it already is by messing with the unknown.

As Naruto headed out of the building and away from the orb, he did not notice the orb in question and began to move slightly in his direction. Naruto exited the building and then stopped because he could feel that something was off.

Naruto quickly turned around and looked inside of the building only to be surprised to see the orb had vanished from where it was but when Naruto turned around the orb had reappeared right in front of him.

Naruto immediately put distance between himself and the orb, this was turning into an unpleasant situation very quickly. The orb seemed to display an ability to track his movements because the orb followed him despite how many times, he tried to put distance between the two.

“What is up with this crazy orb, the energy coming off it feels like pure dark magic. Why is it here and who or what created it in the first place?” Naruto said.

Everything about this situation was setting off alarm bells inside his mind, there was something going on here that was for sure he just did not know what it was. Unbeknownst to Naruto, something was happening inside of the orb. The orb had begun to bulge out in certain spots almost as if something or someone was trying to emerge from inside of the orb.

Naruto suddenly felt a massive spike in the energy from the orb, he turned around to examine it when he noticed that the orb had expanded and coating the nearby walls with the swirling darkness that was coming from the orb.

“Whatever is going on I want to do not any part of it, seems to be an appropriate time to leave the area before anything can happen,” Naruto thought to himself.

Before Naruto could move away a large hand mand from the same dark energy emerged from the orb and grabbed hold of Naruto. Before he had any chance of escaping its grasp the arm pulled him into the portal, the impact of going through the portal and a large amount of energy from said portal forced Naruto to lose consciousness.

The scene changes from a ruined city landscape to an ashen field area, numerous weapons ranging from blades, axes, spears, and other unknown weapons litter the area. All of them stabbed into the ground almost as if each one marked a grave of a fallen warrior.

Amongst the graves of the fallen in the center of the area exists a large bonfire with a coiled sword stabbed in the center of the fire. Nearby and warming themselves by the fire were two ponies, one was wearing a worn dress and red hooded cloak on her body.

The other was covered in armor, the armor was a mixture of black and red highlights and on his back rests a blade like the one resting in the bonfire. He stood watching and waiting for any threats on his charge.

“He should be arriving soon, it pains me to have to send him to the beginning, but he is crucial for the future of our world,” the elder mare said aloud.

“……” The armored pony replied.

“There is nothing we can do, it must be done,” the mare said while sighing at what she had to do.

Far outside of the arena a rift opens in the sky dropping Naruto into the world, unbeknownst to him however his body had undergone changes as it entered the new world. Naruto’s body was forced to change as he was pulled into the new world.

Naruto now resembled a large pony; he had burnt orange fur and a silver mane with icy blue streaks and a silver wolf-like tail. Naruto also did not have hooves like a regular pony but instead, he had two different sets of limbs, his front legs resembled dragon claws while his back legs took the form of wolf paws.

Naruto slowly regained consciousness, being pulled through the orb and the landing knocking him for a loop so he needed a minute.

“Ugh my head, that was not a fun trip. Judging by my surrounding I’m not in the ruined city anymore but somewhere else,” Naruto said to himself.

Naruto realized something was wrong upon seeing his hands transformed into dragons’ claws like Spike’s, the rest of the body had changed as well.

“Okay this is unexcepted, I wonder does have anything to do with the new area I am in or something else I am not aware of yet,” Naruto pondered to himself.

Naruto checked himself over to make sure there were not any more surprises that he should be aware of and summoned his weapons to make sure he was still connected to them. Thankfully, he was able to summon them without any trouble.

Naruto placed them on his back just in case he had to defend himself from any kind of threat, the area surrounding him was unusual it looked like some pony was building city after city on top of one other.

Naruto could only scratch his head in confusion as he tried to make sense of what he saw, there was only a single path forward leading to what could only be described as a massive area. Something was telling him to head there, he did not know why but he had a strong feeling to head in that direction.

Naruto was amazed by his surrounding, it looked like a city after city was built on top of one other for countless generations. Naruto could only look and scratch his head as he tried to wrap his head around what he was seeing.

As he got closer to what looked like the arena, he noticed something strange in the sky, the sun looked like it was being eclipsed by the moon and surrounded by an orange circle. Naruto could only ponder what this meant, to him it must represent something.

“This entire area is very strange; this place feels like massive battles took place here. I can only imagine the reasons why they were fighting,” Naruto thought to himself.

Naruto looks at the massive arena, numerous weapons decorated the arena no doubt once wielded by skilled and powerful warriors. As he looked around, he noticed two ponies sitting down by a bonfire in the center of the arena, both extruded a powerful aura.

As Naruto got closer, he could better identify the two ponies, the one that looked like a mare wearing a weathered dress and a red worn cloak over it while the other was a well-built stallion decked out in full armor and carrying a large sword across his back.

He could see that the stallion was extraordinarily strong and the sword he wielded was unique in design, it was a single blade with a metal coil wrapped around it from tip to base. Naruto could feel enormous power coming from the blade, no doubt the blade was something to be feared in the hands of a master.

The mare seemed to be the same age as Granny Smith, despite her age she had a powerful and mystical aura coming from her. She was sitting down next to the stallion almost as if they were awaiting his presence.

Naruto sighed to himself at his current predicament, he would have little choice but to go up to them and talk to them if he wanted to find the answers to his questions. Naruto moved forward slowly towards the pair; just in case this was a trap of some kind he would keep his guard up.

The pair did not move even when Naruto stood across from them with the only thing separating them was the bonfire. Naruto sat down and wanted for one of them to speak, many questions went through his mind but right now he had to be patient.

The mare laughed a little before speaking up, “You have come a long way, but this is merely the first step on your journey. You will go through many hardships and trials and there will be times when you lose yourself in the darkness, but you must continue to push forward otherwise you will never find what you desire.”

Naruto said nothing his face showed no expression, his mind however was racing at high speeds, some part of him knew that the way back home what not be an easy path, but he had to do it.

“Where am I, this area feels like an enormous battleground where warriors have fought against others for centuries?” Naruto asked.

The mare chuckled at the question, “In a way you are correct, this area has served as a battleground for countless battles over the centuries. The war is waged by being of the light against those of the dark, they fought for control each side never truly winning the war. It is a war that never ends and is merely reset once one side claims victory over the other.”

Naruto was confused by what he just heard, “I don’t understand what is causing the war in the first place and what is driving it to continue for so long?”

The mare smiled at Naruto, “For you to understand that we would have to go back to the beginning of this world.”

“In the Age of Ancients, the world was unformed, shrouded by fog. A land of gray crags, Arch trees, and Everlasting Dragons. But then there was Fire and with fire came disparity. Heat and cold, life and death, and of course, light, and dark. Then from the dark, they came, and found the Souls of Lords within the flame.”

“Nito, first of the dead.” A male zebra wearing a cloak made of living darkness that covered his body, on his head, he wore a skull-like mask. His left hoof was extended outwards, and he was holding a small flame in his hoof.

“The Witch of Izalith and her daughters of chaos.” A tall mare wearing a large cloak covering her entire body, besides her were other mares wearing cloaks like hers and holding staffs in their front hooves.

“Gwyn, Lord of Sunlight, and his faithful knights.” A tall Alicorn stallion wearing a tall crown and robes and regalia fitting a ruler, behind him stood numerous ponies wearing full-body silver armor.

“And the Furtive Pygmy, so easily forgotten.” A lone small changeling sitting on the ground holding a small fragment of flame in his hooves.

“With the strength of Lords, they challenged the Dragons.” Massive dragons, with stone scales, flew.

“Gwyn's mighty bolts peeled apart their stone scales.” Gwyn and his soldiers launched numerous lightning bolts at the dragons.

“The Witches weaved great firestorms. “The Witch and her daughters used large scale spells to reign fire upon the vulnerable dragons.

“Nito unleashed a miasma of death and disease.” Nito stood over a cliff beside him were several pots turned on their sides unleashing their contents on the dragons.

“And Seath the Scaleless betrayed his own, and the Dragons were no more.” A scaleless dragon standing on a hill clutching an everlasting scale in his bloody claw while surrounded by the bodies of his fellow dragons.

“Thus, we have entered the age of fire. But soon the flames will fade and only Dark will remain. Even now there are only embers, and man sees not light, but only endless nights.”

Naruto said nothing at first, he was trying to process the information that the mare had told him. So much had happened at the beginning of this age and yet it is still in the preliminary stages, he wonders what will come next.

The mare smiled at Naruto she could see that he was going over what she had told him, but she knew it would be time to act soon. She hated what was to come next, but it must be done for the greater good.

Naruto was pulled from his thoughts by a strange feeling, when he looked at the mare, she had a frown on her face at the same time he began to get a strange feeling. He had this feeling before, right before something would bad would happen.

Naruto tried to move but was unable to do so, as he looked towards the ground where he was standing, he noticed he was standing in a strange mystic circle. He quickly guessed that the mare in front of him was responsible for it.

“I am sorry for this, but you must go on this journey to not only prepare you for what is to come but to help save this world from the darkness,” the mare replied.

Before he could answer he blacked out and was pulled into the circle, once again Naruto was forced to go on a journey in a new land.

The mare sighed to herself, “I can only hope he will forgive me, but his strength is needed for this world’s survival.”

Her companion placed a hoof on her shoulder as a sign of comfort, the mare smiled back at her companion. She knew that he was trying to tell her that it would all work out in the end and that she would have to wait for it.

Naruto once again woke up in a new area, he was still in the same transformed state as he was in the other world. This time he found himself in a massive cliff area, above his head flew dragons of diverse sizes.

From his position on a tall rock spire, he could see what looked like a mountain fortress in the distance, with any luck there were those he could talk to discover where he was and learn the layout of the land, he had found himself in.

Naruto slowly descended from the rock spire, his dragon claw hands making it easy to dig into the rock. Soon enough he was standing on solid ground with a path leading to a worn rope bridge.

On the other side was a cavern entrance that led deeper into the area and hopefully to the fortress that he saw earlier, this was the only path forward since the one leading behind him was destroyed no doubt by the dragons.

Naruto moved with caution, he would keep his eyes and senses open just in case dragons attacked him. He was also curious of what else could be here, for some pony to build a fortress among so many dragons must mean there must be something they want, or they need to protect.

As Naruto crossed the bridge, he entered a network of caves in multiple spots he found large clusters of eggs no doubt belonging to the dragons he has seen flying around. Another strange thing he had encountered was a strange creature.

The creature was some form of lizard with a large blueish gem growing out of its back, the first time he encountered one it had run away a few feet before vanishing before his eyes. He would encounter a second one that would end up being crushed by a boulder, the lizard’s body would vanish and leave a hand full of strange ores in its place.

Naruto collected the ores and placed them in the makeshift bag he had made from materials he had found in the area; he was glad Rarity had taught him how to sew and make basic things needed.

As Naruto moved through the caves, he would several more encounters with the strange crystal lizards as he would call them. In a few large open areas, he would encounter a single sleeping dragon, the dragon had ruby-colored scales and was an adult size dragon.

(AN: the same dragons you see in the Dragon Airee in Dark souls 2)

Naruto moved silently around the sleeping dragon not wanting to wake it and fight it, while he was confident in his skills it was foolish and dangerous to wake a sleeping dragon. Thankfully, it was easy enough to move around the sleeping beast and continue moving forward on the path.

Naruto eventually reached a massive rope bridge that connected the caverns to the mountain fortress that he had seen earlier, Naruto was a little surprised the bridge remained standing and undamaged from any dragon attacks.

As he made his way across the bridge a fierce wind seemed to come out of nowhere, it caused the bridge to swing back and forth. the wind did little to impend Naruto’s movements across the bridge.

At the end of the bridge was the entrance to the fortress, a set of stairs led further into the fortress, also at the base was a small single room that was empty of anything at all. Naruto decided to take advantage of the room and take a small break, he sat down and pulled out a few pieces of meat he took from the crystal lizards.

Normally ponies do not eat meat but in his case because of his nature of a chimera he was forced to eat meat as well as regular pony food like hay, fruits, and vegetables. This was something he knew already, his appearance already made him an outcast in the eyes of most ponies, so he did not want to add to his problems.

Once he felt that he had rested enough, Naruto decided to head out and continue moving forward. Naruto had his weapons ready just in case he had to defend himself, once could not be too careful since this was a fortress and who knows what could be guarding the area.

Once Naruto reached the top of the stairs, he saw what he believed to be the guard of the area, it looked like an enormous suit of armor holding a massive great sword. The armored figure stood on two legs like a minotaur, Naruto wondered if this was a golem.

A golem would offer great protection for the area, they could be used to ward off any intruders with little difficulty. A golem can only be taken out when its core is destroyed, otherwise, the golem will continue attacking until its target was killed or driven off.

Naruto readied his chain blades before switching them for a different weapon, a unique ability of the paired chain blades was the ability to switch forms between different weapons. Naruto discovered the ability after his escape from the facility, he discovered multiple weapon forms and worked hard to learn and master each one while discovering new ones.

Naruto chose a large unique spear to fight against the golem, the spear had a black handle with red glowing designs running across the handle. On one end of the spear, it ended in a sharp crystal point that could be used to pierce enemies, the point could be slammed into the ground and launch Naruto into the air and unleash deadly aerial attacks.

The opposite end had another sharped point and two other blades on each side of the spearhead allowing Naruto to pierce and slash at his enemies. The blades near the spearhead were pointed down and away from the spearhead to give it more ways to attack enemies.

Naruto twirled the spear in his claws as he familiarized himself with the spear, he chose this weapon because it was able to pierce through armor with little difficulty. Once he felt he was ready Naruto approached the golem, it reacted by slamming its blade down at Naruto who dodged to the left before moving forward and striking with the spear.

Naruto struck with a rabid series of thrusts at the golem, it immediately raised its sword to block but a few landed holes puncturing the golem's armor in spots where the attack landed.

The golem retaliated with a powerful sweeping attack that managed to clip Naruto just enough to send him flying towards a wall, but he was able to redirect and launch himself at the golem.

He struck back with enough force to send the golem skidding back several feet, Naruto dashed forward wanting to capitalize on his previous attack and keep up the momentum he had built up.

The golem charged forward meeting Naruto midway, the two clashed weapons before being pushed back by one other. Naruto took a defense stance while he examined his opponent, the golem seemed to rely mainly on strength. It had slow movement speeds, but he should not let his guard down because one hit could turn the battle in the golems favor.

“I will have to avoid trading hits with it because that will waste stamina doing that. I’m better off striking fast and weakening the armor, I need to find and destroy the core for this battle to end,” Naruto thought to himself.

Naruto prepped for another round against the golem, Naruto examined the golem, he had punctured the armor in numerous places. The chest having the most holes, so he would focus there for starters.

Naruto charged forward before launching himself in the air at the golem, he rained down attacks on the golem. As soon as he landed, he ducked and weaved through the golem’s attacks, Naruto’s constant attacks were weakening the golem's armor causing it more of its armor to break away.

The golem struck back with a power horizontal attack; the attack connected with Naruto slamming into a wall. The golem then charged forward with its blade outstretched in front of it hoping to pierce the dazed Naruto.

Naruto leaped up in the air to dodge the attack while striking at the golems exposed back. The golem grabbed a piece of broken stone and flung it at Naruto, Naruto easily sliced through the rock then sent the pieces back at the golem.

One fragment missed while the other slammed into the golem, as Naruto moved forward to attack the golem blocked him with a two-handed slam attack that sent him flying back. Naruto slowed himself down by digging his claws into the ground.

After pulling back from another assault, Naruto noticed that there was a strange glow coming from the center of the golem’s chest. A large glowing orb was giving off the light, this was the power source of the golem.

“Okay now it’s time to put an end to this fight,” Naruto said.

Naruto dashed forward, he wanted to destroy the core and end the fight. The golem launched a sweeping attack on Naruto forcing him to slide underneath its legs and launched an attack at its exposed back and legs.

This forced the golem to stumble fall to one knee, Naruto rushed to strike the core of the golem but was deflected by the golem. It grabbed Naruto and threw him across the area and towards a wall, Naruto was able to avoid the collision at the last second by redirecting himself away at the last second.

Naruto flipped through the air before landing on his feet, Naruto charged forward as the golem did the same thing. The golem swung its blade in a horizontal swing, Naruto dodged the attack by jumping over the blade and thrusting his spear forward piecing the golem's core.

The golem grabbed its broken core while stumbling backward, the light from the core soon faded away and the golem crumbled away into dust. Naruto sighed to himself, the battle showed he had to put aside time to get used to his new body and whatever changes he underwent in this world.

Naruto transformed his weapon back into its original state before heading out once again, he had a strong feeling that he was being watched by some pony but who and where they were is another story.

Far away from Naruto’s current location, a small group was watching him, they had felt the disturbance of Naruto’s entry to their lands. They wanted to observe him and find out whether he was a threat to them.

The group was watching Naruto through a scrying pool on the ground, the darkened room prevented their forms from being seen.

“He has proven to be skilled in combat and wields two unique weapons,” a mare’s voice spoke out.

“Agreed, defeating a golem is no easy feat,” another voice said with a thick accent of a foreign land and without any emotion in his voice.

The last figure stayed silent, he closely examined this strange figure, despite his unique appearance he could feel no ill intent from him. He would be cautious with this stallion and have him brought to them to discover his intentions.

“I will send my knight to bring him to us we shall discover his true intentions then, if he proves to be a threat then he will be taken care of,” the last figure said with authority.

A door opened and an armored pegasus walked in, he wore golden armor with the helmet-shaped like a snarling lion, the weapon he carried was a long golden spear. He was Dragonslayer Ornstein, one of the four knights who served under the Lord of Sunlight Gwyn.

“How may I be of service to you my lord,” Ornstein said while bowing in respect.

“I want you to bring the stallion we have been observing here, he is not to be harmed in any shape or form,” Gwyn said.

“Understood my lord,” Ornstein replied.

The witch of Izalith opened a portal to Naruto’s location and Ornstein stepped through the portal emerging at the fort, the portal closed behind him to prevent anything from going through to where he came from.

Ornstein moved forward following Naruto’s trail; he did not want to keep his lord waiting so he moved quickly to catch up with Naruto.

Naruto sensed a presence behind him and hid in the shadows to identify who or what it was, he knew it was not another golem because of the lack of noise. As the presence came closer, he saw it was a pony dressed in golden armor with a unique spear attached to his side.

Naruto could tell from a glance whoever this pony was they were very skilled, it made him wonder why this pony was here. Naruto was willing to bet that he was here to talk to him, there was a chance that his arrival was noticed by some pony and he was sent to investigate the area and deal with any threats.

Ornstein moved slowly up the large staircase as he reached the top of the staircase, he found he could no longer sense the stranger’s presence.

“No doubt he is hiding close by, he must have felt my presence and hid to examine me,” Ornstein thought to himself.

Taking a step forward Ornstein called out, “I am Dragonslayer Ornstein, I was sent here to speak with you and ask you to come with me to meet my Lord. He and the other lords felt the dimensional tear you came from and I was sent to investigate.”

Naruto could feel no lies from the knight’s words, he had no other options right now besides staying here and living off the land.

Naruto moved slowly out of the shadows, he made sure to keep the knight in view to avoid any tricks or unwanted surprises. Naruto moved in front of the knight while keeping a small distance between the two of them.

‘My name is Naruto; I apologize for any problems that I may have caused but I am afraid my situation is extremely complicated. I will come with you to meet your king and explain everything I can,” Naruto replied.

“Thank you for your cooperation, this will make the situation run much smoother,” Ornstein said.

Ornstein brought out a message scroll and sent it to Lord Gwyn to let him know that he met up with Naruto and was ready to come back to the palace. A portal like the one that brought him to this location opened once more, it caught Naruto off guard but relaxed when he noticed that Ornstein remained calm and there was no danger.

“The scroll you just used was enchanted for sending messages?” Naruto asked.

Ornstein nodded his head, “they allow us to contact others from large distances and call on help if we are in over our heads. The portal will bring us to the palace, it is there you will meet Lord Gwyn.”

Naruto nodded his head in understanding, “lead on then, I will be right behind you.”

Ornstein entered the portal followed by Naruto, the portal closing once both ponies entered. A flash of light and both ponies appeared in a large room that was empty except for the two arrivals.

Ornstein motioned to Naruto to follow him to meet with Lord Gwyn and figure out what to do next.

The duo moved down the hallway in silence, Ornstein was focused on completing his mission while naruto was in deep thought.

His mind raced on trying to figure out what would happen next, he accomplished his goal of finding others to talk to now he had to worry about what will happen once he meets the king.

From meeting Ornstein, Naruto could tell he was not like other ponies in this world and could only hope that he would not go through the same bigotry that he went through back home.

Naruto was pulled from his thoughts when Ornstein taped his arm, Naruto looked up to see a large pair of doors in front of him meant that they had reached the throne room.

Ornstein turned to Naruto, “Are you ok, you seemed to be pretty deep in thought for the entire walk?”

Naruto shook his head, “Just dealing with everything and trying to figure out what happens next.”

Ornstein nodded his head in agreement,” I can’t say I understand what you have been through, but the king will give you a chance to prove yourself and that you mean no harm to his kingdom.”

Naruto nodded his head and took a deep breath to prepare himself as the door opened and both headed inside. Naruto looked around as the throne room reminded him of the one in Canterlot.

Two Earth ponies dressed in Silver armor stood guard on either side of the throne while sitting on the throne was the Lord of Sunlight King Gwyn. Naruto could feel the power flowing from the stallion, he could easily see that despite his aged appearance he was a pony to be respected.

(AN: Gwyn’s clothing is the same in the game just imagine it pontified)

Both stallions bowed in respect to the king.

“Thank you for fetching the one that showed up so suddenly in my kingdom,” Gwyn said.

Ornstein bowed in respect, “It was no trouble my king, he is somepony who has suffered some unfortunate events that brought him to us.”

Gwyn turned his gaze towards Naruto, Naruto in turn met his gaze knowing that Gwyn was examining him to find out if he was a threat to his kingdom or not.

“My knight says that your arrival here was completely by accident, is this true?” Gwyn asked.

“Yes, I am sorry for any problems that I may have caused,” Naruto replied.

Naruto explained his situation as best as he could leaving nothing out, he already knew that Gwyn and the other lords were aware of his arrival when he first arrived in their lands.

Ornstein had filled him on the way back to the castle, how he was sent to meet the one whose entrance caused a disturbance.

Gwyn studied the unique stallion in front of him, from what he observed he was a capable warrior nearly as skilled as his own knights. He could use someone of his skill in dealing with the remaining ancient dragons plaguing the lands.

“I have a proposition for you, I find myself in need of your skills to aid in the defense of my kingdom. A dangerous threat lingers on the outskirts of it, my knights have fought hard against the threat, but your help will be appreciated,” Gwyn said.

“What is the threat to your kingdom?” Naruto asked,

“The ones threatening my kingdom are Ancient dragons, they are dragons that have destroyed everything including each other since ancient times. The cause for their behavior is unknown but they possess a major threat to all life if left unchecked,” Gwyn said.

Naruto nodded his head, “Ornstein told me about them, he said he and the other knights hunted them down to bring peace to the kingdom but there has been an upsurge in attacks.”

“That is correct, if you agree you will work with Ornstein in hunting down the dragons and prove your worth,” Gwyn said.

Naruto thought about it for a moment before answering, Gwyn was giving him a chance to prove himself to the kingdom and earn his keep.

“Okay, I will accept your offer and prove myself,” Naruto replied.

Author's Note

Here is the start to the first world, the next chapter will cover naruto’s journey the kingdom meeting new allies, and learning more about the world he is in. naruto will represent the chosen undead in the dark souls games.

I will be covering all three games and their respective DLCs, I will also including Bloodborne on the list as well.
