Pain…
That was my first thought as I lay in the cold mud, my warm blood mixing with it as it pools under me. “H-help!” I croak out. I had been napping under my favorite tree when it started raining, causing me to wake.Unfortunately fate had decided today was the day I was to die, as the tree was hit by lightning, causing a branch to fall and impale me.
“Hey!”
I heard a voice call, I tried to look but couldn’t move much. “Help!” I called, trying to be heard over the rain.
“Can you hear me?” The voice got louder… but why does it still sound so far away.
“Y-yes!” I call out, I could feel myself slipping, my vision darkening.
“Hello!” The voice was female, and sounds happy? “Finally I can talk to you!”
“W-what?” I asked confused, why is she so happy?
“My name is- oh dear, what happened to you?” She went from happy to shocked. “Your soul is fading!”
“W-who are you?” I ask desperately “Can you help?”
“I-I can’t, your body is to badly damaged..” Her lovely voice grew some steel “But I can save your soul.”
It made no sense to me, but she was the only one there. “It so dark…” I said as my eyes dimmed, my mind trying to focus on her words but I could barely think.
“Oh dear, I have to act fast… forgive me.” She sounded worried, how sweet, but why ask for forgiveness?
“It oka-” I said before screaming, as I could feel my body on fire, or at least that it was what it felt like.
“Just a moment longer!” She cried out as my world went dark.
“What now..” I asked, before a bright white light blinded me, causing me to yelp in pain.
“Sorry about that.” My mysterious friend said, her voice was much clearer… it was soft and warm… like a mothers.
“Who?” I said, trying to look around, but I only saw white. I felt warm arms wrap around my stomach, pulling me against a warm stomach, I look down to see two cream colored arms wrapped around me.
“Well my child. My name is Faust and I'm the one who rescued you.” Faust said with a motherly affection in her voice.
“W-why?” The name felt familiar… but why? “Why me?”
“Well my child it was because I need your help.” Faust said softly as if she didn’t want to scare me. “The why you and no one else is because well you are a kind soul.”
“But.. I am not the only kind soul..” That voice.. The colors… “Lauren Faust?” A stray thought entered my mind. “Or are you fausticorn?”
She giggles at the question. “Well we are one and the same my child.”
I was stunned. “You’re real..” I was a follower of MLP, calling myself a pegasister after all. “Is something wrong with Equis?”
She shakes her head. “Well there is a evil force in the world that you know as Equestria Girls.”
“What kind of threat? Can’t the main heroes deal with it?” I said, I was scared… why me? Who am I to face this threat?
“Well, it's something they can't fight themselves.” she said with a sad smile.
“What is it then?” I pleaded, scared.
“well my child its called the abyss and they are a organization.” she said as calmly as possible.
I frown. “Like from the comic The Gamer?” this was getting scary again.
“Yes my child. There a very evil man that took control of it and I need someone to take care of it before anything bad happens.” she said with a sad sigh.
“But why me? I am just a simple human…” I said as I turned to look at her, seeing her fire red hair, her blue eyes holding my gaze, she was human.. Though yes an EQG human. “Not even one of your world one.”
She shakes her head. “No my child. I need a soul that knows how things work and plus you were dying. So consider this as a second chance.”
I shift in her hold, looking down at myself… I was transparent, no body to be seen. “... I.. If I do go, what can I have?” I asked I was hesitant.. But she had asked, and she did save me.
“Well my child I can give you four boons for this task.” she said as she look at you with a motherly smile.
I nodded, and thought for a few moments. “Will I get there before the movies?”
She hums in thought for a moment. “well yes my child. You will appear before the movies.”
I nod. “Does the gamer exist?”
She shakes her head. “No my child he does not.”
I nod. “Then can I have that power? You are similar to this worlds Gaia right?”
She nods. “Yes, and that's right my child.”
I thought for a moment. “Can I have the monster magic from Undertale? As a skill for the Gamer power?”
She nods again. “Yes my child.”
I nodded to myself, these will help me fight, especially if I could use Sans’ powers. But now I needed support magic. “Um… can I gain access to a druid skill tree? Starting with a healing ability?”
She hums. “That can be arranged.”
I smiled a little, before frowning. “I won’t get my own body back will I?”
She shakes her head. “No you will not my child.”
I huff. “I will stay a girl right?” If not I am going to be pissed.
She giggles at the thought. “Yes my child you will stay as a girl.”
I sigh in relief. “Good.. then now for my last boon.” I look at her again, looking her right in the eyes, even though I was terrified.
She tilts her head. “And what is my dear child?”
I take a deep breath. “Can you be my new mom?” I hid my face against her after saying that.. It was embarrassing for me to say that, after all I was twenty two.. Well.. I was.
She giggles at your nervousness. “I would love to be your new mom, my child.”
I sigh, relieved. “Thank you.. You just seem so caring..” I could feel it like a physical force.
She giggles. “Of course I'm caring silly.”
I huff. “Sorry for being nervous for asking a goddess to be my mom.”
She pats your head. “it's alright my child. So you agree to this whole heartedly?”
I nod. “So going back as a teenager will be.. Different.” I said with a hesitant smile at my mom to be.
She giggles. “Well my child are you ready?”
I nod. “Umm… Mom?” I asked hesitantly.
“Yes my child?” she said.
“I need a new name.. My old self is dead.. And my name wouldn’t fit your worlds very well.” I said with a blush.. At least I thought I was.
She hums in thought for a moment the smiles. “How about the name Terra Rose?”
I nod. “Call back to home.. To Earth..” I huff. “And I guess Rose is going to be for my looks?”
She nods. “Yes my child.”
I huff. “Boys better not chase after me.” I grumble. “Don’t need that distraction.” I hug my new mom. “Ready.”
She nods. “Now close your eyes.”
I nodded. “Yes mom.” I smiled and closed my eyes, leaning into her warmth.
She smiles while giggling. “Now open them.”
I do so, confused as to what happened. “Yes?”
She giggles. “Well we are here. Look down.”
“Okay..” I Looks down.
When I do I see the planet Equis below me. “Well what do you think my child.”
The world was surprisingly earth like; then again it was pony earth. “Beautiful.”
She giggles again. “Close your eyes one more time.”
I did so eagerly. “Going down?”
She smiles. “Now open them.”
I did so again. “What now?”
There was now a beautiful two story house in front of us. “What do you think?”
I blink amazed. “We are going to live here?”
She nods. “Yes my child.”
I smile and hug her. “It’s amazing mom.”
She hugs you back. “Thank you my child.”
I smiled, her warmth is so soothing… “What next?”
“Well my child you can check out your bedroom, then tomorrow we go to the school.” she said giggling.
I nod with a sigh. “Yay, more school…” I head inside, opening the door absently.
“You'll have fun, I promise.” she said.
I sigh. “I know.. But I was in medical tech.. So much school..” I headed upstairs, “Which one is my room?”
“The end of the hall on the right.” she said.
“Thanks!” I open said door and look in.
“No problem my child.” she said. When I looked in my bedroom had a forest theme to it with my bed high up from the ground with stairs leading to it with trees around it.
“It’s amazing mom!” I cheer walking in. “But it looks a tad young for a teenager..”
“Well I did it for the age you are now.” she giggles.
“What do yo-” I blink and look down in shock, my voice sounded so young and cute! My skin was now a light green, like soft grass, my long hair was a leafy green… I was also around ten years old… “mom!” I pouted.. Wait what? Why did I just pout?
She giggles. “Yes my child?”
“Why am I a child?” I was still pouting! I was a child again.. But still!
“Well my child you'll find out tomorrow. Now then up to bed you go.” she giggles.
I sigh before smiling. “Tuck me in?”
She picks me up and lay me on the bed. “Well my child. I hope you find this world to your liking.” she tucks me in for night.. “Need anything else my child?”
“Just a hug.” I hug her one more time. “Thank you mom.”
She hugs me back smiling. “You’re welcome my child.” she steps back and walks to the door. “Good night my child, and sweet dreams.”
I smile as I drift off, my last memory was a pop up saying.
