Repeating What Her Friend Did To Her And What She Did To Her Friend
One day in the morning after a sleepover Starlight was in Twilight's bed in Twillight's castle in Ponyville as they were snuggling under the blankets.
They had such a wonderful night sleeping together as they hadnt done it in a while. That morning seemed to be peaceful.
That peacefulness however ended with the the sound of somebody knocking
"Good morning Starlight...did you hear that sound just now?" Twilight asked her.
"Yeah I did....do you want me to go check it out? It might be someone suspicious and you know that it could possibly be a villian since you and your friends have encountered villians in Equestria alot."
Starlight asked. Twilight shook her head.
"No dont go anywhere. I'll go see what it is. I dont think it's a villian, it might be a pranked just trying to get to our feet and walk to the door for no reason at all. I'll be back." Twilight asked.
"I'll stay here." Starlight said, Twilight got dressed just to make sure she that she looked appropriate and went to the front entrance and opened the door to find Sugar Belle standing their shyly.
"I came here to talk to you. I knocked but no one was answering." Sugar Belle said. Twilight looked her over as she wondered why she was in Ponyville as didnt leave her town that much.
Twilight wondered if she was seekng Starlight. If she was seeking Starlight then she hoped that they were getting along even if Starlight had enslaved their town.
"Sorry we were finishing a sleepover...Is there something I can help you with?" Twilight asked as she tried to find out why she was there.
Sugar Belle hesitated as she really didnt know if she should speak to the princess about her request as she was hesitant and nervous. Finally she was able to speak.
Um...I'm visiting you because I saw your dance performance at Canterlot a few years back...you did such an amazing job so-"Sugar Belle said.
"That's so kind of you. See you later." Twilight said as she began to close the door but Sugar Belle stopped her as she wasnt finished speaking
"Wait! I came to see you at your residence because when I saw you dance it inspired me to dance as well you made me want to do ballet...I told my family that I wanted to learn ballet and they told me that you could teach me since your an expert...Im sorry for coming here without any warning but I needed someone to teach me as will you please teach me?" Sugar Belle asked. Twilight reacted quickly.
"Sorry I dont teach people." Twililight said as she hastily tried to close the door. Sugar Belle stopped her.
"Wait! Please I cant afford a dance school which is why I came here...I dont have anybody else to ask! Please I'm begging you." Sugar Belle asked.
Twilight stopped herself from closing the door and sighed as she opened it back up and looked at the resident of Our Town.
"Why do you want dance? What's so great about it to you?" Twilight asked bluntly. Sugar Belle was thrown off by the question as she didnt know Twilight could be so blunt.
"I...I love watching it...when I watched one of your performances I became interested and wanted to learn it as well. I came here because I didnt want to join a class with other people. Please will you teach me? Sugar Belle asked.
"No from the way I see it teaching you would be a waste. I can see how you will not pay attention to instructions, you eat sweets and you look out of shape. You dont have any appropriate attire on you and your posture is terrible." Twilight said.
Sugar Belle felt as if her feelings were hurt. She couldnt believe what she was hearing, she was not expecting Twilight to be like this.
"Twilight please...I want to learn...." Sugar Belle asked. Twilight sighed as she thought about what to say and decided to steer Sugar Belle away from her path as she didnt want Sugar Belle to be burdened.
"I'm going to give you some advice hon so just listen closely...ballet isnt as beautiful as the media portrays it. Sure its graceful and it's very compelling to watch but it's far from beautiful...in reality it's a nightmare. The world of ballet is filled with sex abuse by instructors and in some cases drugs. Its filled with jealousy and hate. I would advise you to not go and learn it. Besides. That profession doesnt suite you. Stick to baking or whatever it is that you do. However if you do want to learn it dont say I didnt warn you." Twilight ranted.
Sugar Belle was saddened by these details as she always saw that it was an amazing profession but now since she heard this she was disheartened.
"Oh...I had no idea it was like that...I'm sorry for bothering you about it Twilight. I guess I'll... leave now." Sugar Belle said as she walked away from Twilight's castle.
Twilight closed her door and realized that what she had done to Spike is what she had done to Sugar Belle and what had been done to her herself.
She couldnt believe it. She had let what Rarity had done to her happen to Spike and Sugar Belle. Only those two times were led to the fulfillment of both Twilight's and Spike's dreams
Meanwhile Sugar Belle walked home dejectedly as she couldnt believe that the woman who saved her town from Starlight Glimmer was now quite cruel. She would have to learn from somewhere else so she did just that as she was able to get a free class in Canterlot. She was happy that she was able to get a class and begin learning it.
Sugar Belle told Twilight that she joined a ballet class and Twilight apologized to Sugar Belle for discouraging her and told her that she was proud of her.
After a few more years Twilight began dancing again but only for herself and that's how she wanted it.
