Chapter 17

"Your grip is to tight!"

I threw Lostvayne up, knocking the sword up as Gleaming turned about to try and to slice my side. I threw Lostvayne into the blade near the handle knocking it from her hands. I kicked her back, and she rolled along the ground for a minute before coming to a stop at the hoofs of luna and Cadence. I spun Lostvayne, then opened darkness on my arm and let Lostvayne fall into the darkness. I nodded to them as Gleaming coughed as she got to her hoofs. She rubbed her ribs as Cadence helped her stay on her hoofs. Luna was in a shirt with half sleeves going down to her elbows and a pair of blue jeans on with a black belt with stars going along it. But the strange part about this was she's had the slave mark pressed into the front of her shirt. Cadance was dressed in a long pink and yellow dress with a smile on her face.

"Why must you keep challenging him, Gleaming sweetie."

I laughed as she glared at me.

"I'll quit when I knock him on his flanks."

I laughed as I looked at her, with Luna pressing herself into my side. "That will take a long time, Gleaming." She huffed and kicked dirt at me as she and Cadence walked off. I laughed then nodded my head as Luna rubbed her cheek into my arm. I laughed, then pulled my arm a little, and then we started to walk. "Come on, Luna, I've been scouting out the restaurants, and I think I found one you'd love." She smiled, then we started to walk to the front gate. The guards saluted us as we walked out and turned down the right street. As we walked nobles, saw us, and many looked annoyed as they watched us walk by. We ignored them as we walked down the street, and I pulled her to the right and took her up to a fancy looking restaurant. It was a large restaurant with a mare standing out front, serving a few older mares. As we walked up to the front door, the Mare noticed us and quickly walked over a smile on her face.

"Hello, Princess Luna."

Luna cleared her throat as she glared at the Mare. She flinched then bowed to me.

"King Meliodas, How can the staff of the singing owl help you this evening?"

I smiled as I spoke to her, but she looked at Luna. "I was hoping we could get a table for dinner." She nodded, then waved for us to follow her inside. We did, but I noticed all the nasty glares I was getting. I ignored them, but Luna seemed annoyed and seemed to be ready to yell, but I grabbed her hand, stopping her. "Not worth it, Luna." She frowned as she looked at me while I smiled as I looked back at her.

"But..."

I smiled as I nodded my head as I looked out at the nobles. "Your all free to hate me for what I've done, but if you stop to think of what can be gained from letting go of the old ways." I left them with that, and we walked up to the Mare as she held a door open for us. She smiled as she grabbed two black menus and a smaller red book. We followed her into the main room with large tables. She took us to a large table in the back. I pulled out Luna's seat for her, and she sat down then I sat down as the Mare put the menus and red book down on the table. Luna took the little red book, and I took the black menu then opened it. "Would you like to have a veggy stuffed potato with chetter cheese or maybe the fish plate with a side of steamed carrots and corn with a side of biscuits?" She seemed to think about whatever she was looking at but answered me.

"Fish plate; it's been a while since last I've had some."

I nodded, grabbed the other menu, and held them up for a minute. I saw a mare looking at me from the corner near the kitchen, a smug smile on her face. Luna looked up at me, then her face screwed up, annoyed then spoke out over all the noise of the ponies in the restaurant as she looked at the now scared Mare.

"I want the manager now."

I laughed as Luna pulled a Keren as she glared at the sweating mare as she ducked back into the kitchen. I frowned as she glared at the door as the nobles around us looked at her, stunned. "Luna." She looked at me, annoyed as she sat the red menu down.

"Meliodas, these stuck up mares need to be taken down a peg."

I raised an eyebrow as I looked at her.

"You acted the same way towards me before you and your sister attacked me." She flinched as she looked at me then shrank back into the seat as a well-dressed mare came out of the door. She was a slender mare in a pair of black pants with a light blue blouse. She was young and had a short cut mane of light green hair. She had a seafoam green coat of fur on her face and hands. Heavier side and was not the prettiest to look at, not even her trying to enhance her looks with way too much makeup.

"Hello, Princess Luna; how can I help you this evening?"

She ignored me, which was starting to get annoying, and Luna seemed to pick up on it.

"First off, your hostmare was rude and ignored my stallion and your new king. Then when he was ready to place our meal order, your waitress stood there, ignoring him and stood there with a smug look on her face. How can you allow your workers to treat a paying customer this way?"

She huffed, shocking Luna as she crossed her arms as she looked down at her.

"Sorry, Princess, but we don't have to serve it anything."

Luna snarled then slammed her hand on the table as she stood up, but I grabbed her arm. They looked at me, and I nodded my head then stood up. I was taller than the Mare making her back up a little.

"What are you going to do!?"

I smirked as I started to talk. "Do you need a doctor? They don't fix stupid, but they'll make you pretty enough that it'll distract people when you speck. Maybe then a stallion or beast would pay you even a little attention, you little Mare." Luna laughed as the Mare glared at me. To my surprise, she went for a slap, but she was too slow. I grabbed her arm then set the menus down as I looked at her and the shocked mares around us. "I'll be sure to see the guards come and close the doors of this business have a good night, miss." She shut her mouth as I grabbed Luna's hand then started to walk out, but the Mare spoke up.

"But! this is my mother's livelihood!"

I stopped then looked back at the now scared Mare. I turned, and she looked panicked as she looked at me. "Is your mother here?" She slowly nodded, then I crossed my arms as the rest of the guest watched, not sure what to do. "May I speck to her?" She nodded then quickly walked back into the kitchen. I walked us over to the door, not wanting to eat anymore. as we waited, the mares eating quickly paid then left. The bowed to us as they had to walk passed us as they left. Luna was sitting behind me out of view of the two mares. The Mare came back with an older mare who looked much like her, but her mane was silver, and her coat was the same color as her daughter. She was worried; you could see it on her face. She walked up to us, and she bowed as she looked at me. The daughter had a bottle of fancy wine in her hands.

"Sir, I'm so sorry about the way you were treated in my place of business. Please let me give you a bottle of finest wine we have as conmensation."

I crossed my arms as I looked down at her. "Miss, I don't care about the attitude, and I can let go of the way I was treated. But, the tone, your daughter, took with Luna is the reason we're leaving."

"But..."

I glared at her, and she shut her mouth, then she waved the daughter over. She walked over and held the bottle out to me. I waved a hand. Luna grabbed onto my other arm as she looked at the two of them.

"Meliodas, we can get some wine at my favorite club after I raise the moon."

I watched the color drain from the mother's face as she looked at the extremely annoyed Luna. I nodded, then we turned to leave as the Mare tried to get out some words but couldn't as the door closed behind us. I sighed as I looked down at Luna as she pulled me down the street. "So, why are you dragging me away from the castle instead of going to it?" She smiled as she looked back up at me.

"I know the owner and helped her open the club, so I can come around and get in whenever I want. But, we may not get wine or cider until midnight. I made the law to make sure mares down go crazy before all the foals and families are off the streets."

I laughed a little as we walked up to a huge club with a picture of a mare on the wall that was dressed something like what Rainbow was wearing, but her shorts were ripped. I laughed as Luna pulled me into an ally then knocked on the door in a pattern. A few seconds later, a mare opened the door with two more mares a few feet away from the door, and I about jumped back. Two were in bra and panties, and one was completely nude, pulling up some bright red panties. Luna grabbed my face and covered my eyes as she barked for the Mare to get dressed. She pulled me in with a vise-like grip over my eyes as she pulled me along.

I looked around and saw some booth seats with a higher area with fancier booth seats. I huffed then walked over to the smaller booths. I hummed a tune as I sat down on the seat then pulled out a small book I had in my pocket out. I opened the small book and started to read about the parts of ponies bodies. I knew the human body thanks to my father, but these ponies were built so differently, with each race having unique traits. It was just a brief overlook, but it was worth the world to me right now.

Short descriptions of Earth ponies

Earth ponies had thick, strong bones with hoofs tough as metal and had the greatest psychical strength among the ponies. They also have the smallest life stand of the three races of only seven to nine hundred years.

Short descriptions of Pegasus ponies

I blinked, reading that, then turned the page to look at the Pegasus. They were the smallest of the ponies with thinner bone with hollow bones in the wings. The lack of strength is made up for by their high level of endures and a slightly longer life span of eight to a thousand.

Short descriptions of Unicorn ponies

I turned to the unicorn's page seeing more information than both of the other basics of the other two gave. Unicorns are the second largest of the pony races. Still, they are capable of using magic in an active stance, unlike Earth ponies, or Pegasus used it passively via flying or as farmers use it for more strength already added to there natural strength. Unicorns also have the ability to use magic as a tool and a way of travel, speech, and many other things. They also have the longest life spanned of one thousand to fifteen thanks to the amount of magic they have.

'I'm back!"

I looked up from the book and saw Luna walking back with a bat-like Mare. She was a smaller mare, but by all means, she was a ten out of ten. Her mane, coat, and eyes were all shades of purple. She had on a white dress with a black strap over her breast, and both her hips were exposed with pure white hip high socks that cut off right as it reached her inner thigh.

"Meliodas, this is Golden Fang; she's also going to allow us into the private bedroom as well as the fines wine in all of canterlot."

I laughed, then closed the book then stood up. I slipped the book back into my pocket then looked down at the mare. She smiled as she looked up at me, then waved us on and winked at Luna. She smiled as she pulled me along. I raised an eyebrow as I looked at the mare who waved at me. I broke eye contact with her then walked down a set of steps. Luna was dragging us down. After a minute, she pulled me to a large door, and she pulled out a key. She opened the door, and I was surprised as I looked into the bedroom. The room looked like it was carved into the ground with polished stone with items you'd find in the most upper of the most upper class of hotels.

"Luna... just what kind of club is this?" She smiled as she looked back at me, arms crossed under her breast, pushing them up.

"Mare's who like Mare's come here to be themselves. But don't worry; this is one of the private living areas for the staff. The whole hall has a living space like this but, Fang lets me come here anytime I need to get away for a day or two."

I looked at her for a second; then, a knock came from the door. She smiled as she looked up at me. She held out her hands, and I saw an insanely expensive bottle of wine in her hand with two glasses in her other hand. 'How did she knock?' I jumped then looked back to see her arms crossed as she looked at me.

"Come back in; I'd like to talk with you about something."

I did so and saw down beside her on a couch thing at the foot of the bed. Luna took the wine and glass with her magic, then moved herself to my lap. She leaned back into my chest, ruffling her wings as she sighed as she used her magic to poured the wine into the glass. We sat in silence until she had the glass filled then floated the wine over to a table in front of the couch across from us. She grabbed then glasses then passed one back to me as she took a sip. She hummed as she took the glass from her lips as she started to speak.

"Here what I've been thinking, Meliodas. As you are now a king, you will need heirs."

I took a sip of the wine and tasted what I think was raspberries with a mixed in flavor I've never tasted before. I nodded as I wrapped a hand around her stomach hand near her waistline, having a good idea where she was going.

"I was thinking of what you said, and we'll never know if we're genetically compatible without trying."

She turned to look at me out of the corner of her eye as she took another sip of her wine. I laughed a little, then leaned down and sat the glass on the floor before taking her glass and doing the same as I started to talk. "So, you brought me all the way here, got us alone in a room just so no one would bother us?"

"I know it was a roundabout way, but I didn't think you'd like me just dragging you into a room and trying to get you to buck me."
