Author's Note
Just to clarify, every dice roll and path decision is made by me with actual dice rolls, complete RNG, the only things that are scripted are the minigames and items. anyway this idea came to me when I was watching a few videos from my favorite YouTubers. Every Turn Will be a Chapter, it makes it easier for me.

Turn 1
“Ughhh, what happened?” Twilight groaned.
It was so sudden. Twilight was hanging out with her friends at her castle, enjoying some food and drinks. They were all talking about their lives. Rainbow Dash has been planning some new stunts for her and her fellow wonderbolts. Applejack has been preparing for zap apple season. Rarity has been designing some beautiful dresses for an upcoming fashion show in Canterlot. Fluttershy has been taking care of a raccoon that got injured while foraging for food. Pinkie Pie has come up with new cupcake designs as well as flavor ideas. Everyone she knows will get a cupcake in their image and the flavor will be based on their characteristics.
However, during their talk, a bright light flashed in the middle of them, then everything went dark, and that was the last thing she remembered.
“Girls?” Twilight called weakly. “Are you there?”
“T-Twilight, is that you?” whimpered Fluttershy.
“Fluttershy? Yes, yes it’s me.”
“Where are we!? Why is it so dark!?”
“I don’t know, calm down!”
“Twi, Fluttershy, is that you?” said Applejack.
“Applejack!?”
“Are you okay Applejack?”
“I’m fine, what happened?”
“I don’t know.”
“Girls, is that you?” cried Rarity.
“Rarity!?”
“Glad to know our dramatic friend is alright.”
“How dare you Applejack!”
“Hahahahaha!”
“Are you alright Rarity?”
“I’m fine dear, but what happened?”
“I don’t know!”
“Well, where are we?”
“I don’t know that either!”
“Ugh, my head.” groaned Rainbow Dash.
“Rainbow Dash!?”
“Huh?”
“Is that you sugarcube?”
“Of course it’s me!”
“Thank goodness you’re okay Rainbow.”
“Why is it so dark?”
“We don’t know.”
“If this is someone’s idea of a prank, it’s not funny.”
“I don’t think this is a prank Rainbow.”
“So, what happened then?”
“I don’t know!”
“Well, where are we?”
“I DON’T KNOW!”
“Ok ok, keep your horn on!”
“We’re all trying to figure that out.”
“Alright fine...wait, where’s Pinkie?”
“Here I am!” shouted Pinkie.
All of the mares screamed at Pinkie’s sudden appearance.
“Oh my gosh! Pinkie don’t do that!”
“Sorry Dashie, I’m just wondering who’s surprise party this is!”
“Surprise party? What surprise party?”
“The surprise party we’re all here for!”
“Pinkie, I highly doubt that this is a surprise party.”
“But it has to be! Why else would it be dark?”
“We’re still trying to figure that out Pinkie.”
“So, this isn’t a surprise party?”
“No Pinkie, this isn’t a surprise party.”
“Awwww.”
“Oh, but it is a party.”
A new voice echoed through the darkness, startling the mares. They grew wide eyed and started looking in all directions.
“Wh-who there!?” said a very frightened Fluttershy.
“Who are you?!”
“Where are you?!”
“Show yourself!”
Shouted the startled mares.
“Not today skittles. As for who I am, it doesn’t matter. What does matter is that you are indeed in a party.”
“Yay! See girls? I told you this was a surprise party!”
“No.”
“No?”
“No.”
“Birthday party?”
“No.”
“Welcoming party?”
“No.”
“Bachelor par…”
“SILENCE!!!” The voice shouted, having heard enough of the pink loudmouths constant guessing.
“As I was saying, yes, you will all be attending a certain party.”
Another bright flash erupted from the darkness, blinding all the mares once again.
After coming out of their blindness, they all noticed a giant screen layout has appeared in front of them.
On the screen read the following title…
“PUMMEL PARTY!?” the mares said at the same time.
“What in tarnation is a Pummel Party?” asked Applejack.
Before she could even get an answer, Rainbow Dash read another sentence on the screen.
“A great way to ruin your friendships!?”
“What!?" cried Twilight. “How could a game ruin friendships!?”
“Have you never played monopoly?”
“No.”
“None of you have?”
“No.” said all the mares.
“Perfect!” said the voice. “Now to answer your question Twilight, this little game will truly test how strong your friendship is with all of you.”
“So this game is a friendship test?” questioned Twilight.
“In a way, yes.”
The mane six just looked at each other, unsure of what to think or to do.
“And what if we don’t want to play your little game?” Rainbow Dash challenged.
The voice laughed sinisterly. The blood in the mares went cold. Fluttershy was shivering in fear. Pinkie lost her smile. Rarity looked ready to faint, but resisted due to not having her fainting couch. Twilight, Applejack, and Rainbow Dash looked frightened. They were backing up as well.
“Sorry skittles, but unfortunately you all don’t have a choice. You are to participate in this game and you cannot leave until one of you is victorious.” said the voice.
“Wait, so you’re the one who brought us here!?” cried Twilight.
“Indeed.”
“So how do we play this game Mr. Voice?” said a very excited Pinkie Pie.
“I’m glad you asked pink one, the rules are simple. Each one of you will be competing against each other. You all start with 35 keys. A treasure chest will spawn on the board. It contains a goblet. The one who has the most goblets is the winner. Of course, there are items you can obtain to give you an advantage. You can get them by an item space or by winning minigames. Be aware that some spaces are good and some are bad. It is everyone for themselves. There are no teams, but that doesn’t mean you can’t help another out. Just know that it might give you enemies.” the voice explained.
“Wow, that sounds like fun!” Pinkie Pie said with excitement in her voice.
“That-that actually does sound like fun.” said Fluttershy.
“I also agree, it does sound like fun.” Rarity said.
“This sounds easy, I’m definitely competing.” Rainbow said with pride.
“A friendly competition, I’m game.” said Twilight.
“Hmm, well alright, I’ll compete too.” said Applejack.
“Excellent! No going back now! If you’ll be so kind as to stand on the marked points behind you, we’ll get started.”
Behind the mares were 6 circle points, slightly glowing. They all stood on one of the points. Twilight was on the first point on the far left, second point was Pinkie, third point was Fluttershy, fourth point was Rarity, fifth was Rainbow and sixth was Applejack.
“Now, you must ready up.” said the voice.
“...Uh, how do we do that?” Twilight questioned.
“Just say ready.”
“Oh, ready!”
“Ready!”
“R-Ready!”
“Ready!”
“Ready!”
“Ready!”
And with that, another bright flash engulfed the six mares, and thus they have entered the world of “Pummel Party”. Little did they know, this “friendly” competition was about to take a wide turn towards absolute chaos.

Once the bright flash had faded away, the mane six took notice of their surroundings. There were old looking buildings that represented the old caribbean, dirt roads leading to the outskirts of the unknown, a port leading to crystal clear waters, the cool breeze of the wind hitting their faces. Pirate ships are in the distance. This place seems to be pirate themed, however it looks like nobody is here except for the mares.
“Wow! This place looks neat.” said Twilight.
“And it seems to be pirate themed too!” Rainbow Dash added.
They noticed that they’re all sharing a space, the starting space. It is located at the top center of the board.
“Weee! When do we start? When do we start?” shouted a very excited Pinkie pie.
As if on cue, a 10 sided dice appeared above their heads. They are spinning rapidly and changing all numbers at random.
“I guess we roll to see who goes first.” said Applejack.
They all looked above their head and saw the dice, Applejack decided to go first. She reached for it with her left hoof and it exploded with confetti, revealing the number “1”.
“What the!?”
Applejack heard giggling from her friends. Rainbow Dash didn’t bother to hide her laughter.
“HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Nice roll AJ!” Rainbow Dash mocked.
“Shut up RD!”
“It’s alright AJ, you’ll do just fine.”
“Wow! The dice had confetti!” said Pinkie. “MY TURN!”
Pinkie jumps and hits the dice, it explodes and reveals the number “9”.
“Yay!”
“Wow! Good roll Pinkie!” Twilight exclaimed.
“Thanks Twilight!”
“I’ll go next.”
Rarity jumps and hits the dice, and it reveals the number “4”.
“Not a bad roll. I’ll take it!” complied Rarity.
“My turn!” said Rainbow Dash.
She hits the dice and it reveals the number “4”.
“You got the same number as me Dash.” Rarity said.
“Stupid dice.” Rainbow Dash said with utter annoyance.
“I’ll go next” says Twilight.
She hits dice and the number “8” appeared.
“Alright!” she shouted.
“I guess it's my turn to roll now.” said Fluttershy.
Dice is hit and the number is “9”.
“Wow Fluttershy! We got the same number too!?” cheered pinkie.
“Yay!”
All the mares have hit their dice and now the turn placement is decided.

“Hey! Why am I 5th?!” Rainbow Dash shouted angrily.
“Because I rolled a 4 first, just like Pinkie rolled a 9 first.” Rarity explained.
“That’s so stupid!”
“That’s how it works Dash.” Applejack added.
“Well at least I’m not last!” Rainbow Dash mocked.
“Shut up!”
A treasure chest spawned on the board near the southwest part of the board, replacing the one reaper space below the other and a description appeared before them.
Treasure Chest:
Make your way along the board towards this treasure chest dodging hazards and other players! The player who collects the most goblets wins!
“So, I'm the first to roll then.”
“Yes Pinkie.”
“OK!”
A dice appeared above her head, she hits the dice the number “7” appeared.
“Alright!”
Two arrows appeared before her, one pointing forward and the other pointing left. she had to decide which way to go.
“Hmm, which way to the treasure?”
Pinkie thought about which direction to take. Looking left, then forward, then left, then forward again. After some thought, she decided to go left. Since she rolled a 7, she traveled along the board until she landed on a reaper space. A grim reaper appeared before her and it said the following: My master has finally arrived! This space is now yours, what would you like me to steal from intruders who land on this space?
Two options appeared in front of her. Pinkie saw the first one, but the second one sent a chill down her spine.
“What is it Pinkie? What are your options?” Twilight asked.
Choices:
Keys - Blood
“O-one of them i-is bl-bl-Blood!” she shouted.
“WHAT!?” cried all the mares.
“I have to choose blood or keys!”
“Well, then choose keys!”
“Right.”
Deciding not to choose blood, she chose keys instead. After making her choice the space she stood on and the one next to her turned pink. The reaper spaces are now hers. Whoever lands on these spaces will lose 4-6 keys, in which the keys will go straight to Pinkie Pie. And with that, Pinkies turn ends.
Up next is Fluttershy. A dice appears above her head.
“W-well, I’m next.”
She leaps and hits the dice, it bursts and shows the number “10”.
“Oh, you've got to be kidding! Why are you girls so lucky with the dice rolls?!” Rainbow Dash shouted.
“S-sorry Rainbow! I’m not doing it on purpose!”
“Don’t listen to her Fluttershy, you go on ahead now.” said Applejack.
“O-ok. Then, I’ll go this way.” She decided to go straight. Since she rolled a 10, she traveled down 4 spaces before having to go right, continuing her path until she came to her 7th space. Two more arrows appeared in front of her. It was another path choice. She can continue going straight or she can go right. She has only 3 spaces left before her turn ends. Thinking for a bit, she decides to continue going straight, landing on a reaper spot of her own. Again, a grim reaper appeared and it said the following: My master has finally arrived! This space is now yours, what would you like me to steal from intruders who land on this space?
Choices:
Keys - Blood
“Oh dear! I don’t want to steal anything from my friends!” she said nervously. “I choose neither.”
...
The grim reaper did not leave or reply. It was still waiting for its master to choose what it must steal for her.
“Um, excuse me, I said I don’t want to choose either.”
…
Again no reply.
“Fluttershy, dear, you have to choose.” Rarity said.
“But I don’t want to!”
“Fluttershy! We can’t continue until you make a decision! Now pick one!” screamed Rainbow Dash.
“OK OK! Please stop yelling at me!” Fluttershy cried.
Seeing no way out of this situation, she decided to pick keys. The two reaper spaces turned butter yellow and are now hers. Her turn finally ended.
Twilight is next.
“It’s my turn now.” she said. She jumped and hit the dice which bursts and shows the number “4”.
Seeing her path before her, she decides to go straight. She can only go 4 spaces. This lands her on a reaper space of her own. Just like pinkie and fluttershy, a grim reaper appeared and it said the following: My master has finally arrived! This space is now yours, what would you like me to steal from intruders who land on this space?
Choices:
Keys - Blood
“Yeah, I’ll just choose keys, thank you very much.” she says with absolute concern. The spaces turn light purple and are now hers. She ends her turn.
Rarity was next.
“Looks like it’s my turn now.” she said. She jumped and hit the dice which bursts and shows the number “9”.
“Alright!” she cries.
Seeing her path before her, she decides to go straight, she trots forward 4 spaces before taking a right and stopping on her 7th space and is faced with a split path just like Fluttershy did. So she decided to go straight. Unfortunately, Rarity landed on one of Fluttershy’s reaper spaces. Fluttershy’s grim reaper appeared in front of Rarity wielding a sharp scythe in it hands. It raised the scythe high and prepared to slice Rarity.
“AHHHHHH!” screamed Rarity.
“RARITY!!” cried her friends.
She tried to run but discovered that she couldn’t move from her space. “What the?! I CAN’T MOVE!” Rainbow Dash tried to fly over to save her but noticed that she couldn’t move either. “Huh? Why can’t I fly!?” Twilight tried to use her magic but her horn didn’t react to her command. “I can’t use my magic!?” The grim reaper tighten its grip on the scythe and was going to strike Rarity. Her friends could only watch in horror as they were about to see their friend die.
The scythe came down and struck Rarity dead center of her chest. But she didn’t feel any pain. She had her eyes closed before it struck her. But when she opened her eyes she saw keys around her. A total of 5 keys. She was confused. Didn’t the reaper slice her with its scythe? The keys then floated over to Fluttershy, she has gained 5 of Rarity’s keys. Rarity unfortunately lost 5 keys, bringing her down to 30 keys and Fluttershy to 40 keys.
“Oh right. That grim reaper steals keys. Fluttershy took your keys Rarity.” Pinkie said.
“YOU DID!?”
“I DID!?”
“Hahaha! Yup, talk about bad luck Rarity.” Pinkie laughed.
“I was so close to having a heart attack! Oh deary me! I feel so light headed, I feel like I’m going to pass out!”
Rarity really was on the verge of passing out after what just happened. But she pulled herself together. If she did faint, the game will go on until she wakes. And since none of her friends could move, they’d have to wait for her to wake up. Now that her heart stopped beating so fast, she finally ended her turn.
Next turn is Rainbow Dash.
“Finally, my turn!” she said with pride. Leaping up to hit the dice, it bursts and reveals the number “4”. Seeing the path before her, She decides to go left. Luck is not on her side because she lands on a hazard space. A TNT barrel is next to her and the fuse is lit. Rainbow Dash hears and sees the TNT barrel and panics.
“Oh no!”
She tries to run or fly away but is unable to move. The fuse reaches its end and the barrel explodes. She takes 15 health damage, loses 4 keys and is launched several feet away. Her keys will stay around that space until another player except for her collects them.
“AHHHHHH!” she screams. Blood spewed from her body but no wound is present on her. Rainbow Dash actually felt that. It really hurt. Now confused and somewhat terrified, she looks at her body and sees no injury. But when she looks at the space she was on, blood was surrounding her. She hears her friends callout to her.
“Oh my gosh! Dashie, are you alright?!” Pinkie cried. She saw the whole thing, after Rainbow Dash launched away from the space she reappeared at the space after several seconds. She wanted to go to Rainbow Dash to check if she was alright. But like before, she couldn’t move.
“Are ya okay sugarcube?!”
“Ow, that really hurt.”
“How the hay did ya survive that explosion Rainbow!?”
“I don’t know but that explosion made me bleed. My own blood is actually around me.”
After getting herself together her turn ends, it is now Applejacks turn.
“A-ah don’t think ah want to go now.” she said with worry.
“You don’t have a choice Applehorse.” said the same voice from earlier. “You cannot leave this world until one of you is victorious.”
“YOU SICK MONSTER, LET US OUT OF HERE!” yelled Rainbow Dash.
“No.”
“Please let us out sir!” Fluttershy pleaded.
“No.”
“Why are you doing this?” asked Twilight.
“Have you all forgotten already? You are to play this game until one of you wins. This world tests the friendship of whoever plays. You all are known for having a strong friendship. This will determine if that friendship will truly last.”
“But I don’t want to play anymore!” shouted Pinkie.
“I don’t care. Play on or be trapped here forever. Applehorse! You are next. Now continue.” and with that, the voice vanished. The mares looked terrified, but had no choice but to play on. Applejack sighed and hits the dice above her, it reveals the number “10”.
“Oh, now ya give me a good roll.” she said with annoyance. First she gets a 1, now she gets a perfect 10. Rolling her eyes, she decides to go left. Traveling down the board, she lands on a health space, healing 10 points of her health. However, she is already at full health so it was pointless. That ends her turn and that also ends the first round.

Minigame 1
Everything goes dark and the mares are now aligned next to each other. In front of them in a minigame screen. It shows the minigame “Explosive Exchange” The instructions read: It’s hot potato! Why are you holding this bomb? Who knows! But you better get rid of it. Pass it to one of your enemies before it explodes! The last one standing wins.
Directions: Move away from the player who has the bomb. You can strike other players to stun them for a few seconds. The bomb holder can also stun other players. You cannot stun the bomb holder.
The mares looked shocked. They have to pass around a deadly bomb to one another. The last one of them will win. Knowing that they can’t leave the game, they ready up and are transported to the minigame location. They are in the middle of a street in an unknown city. The minigame is about to start.

The bomb begins with Rarity. It has a countdown of 30 seconds.
“AHHHH! Get this horrid thing off of me! I don’t want it!”
Rarity freaks out and tries to throw the bomb away. But it doesn’t leave her hoof. She shakes her hoof repeatedly trying to rid the bomb. But again, it stays on her hoof. 20 seconds left on the bomb. She has to give to one of her friends. She looks around her and sees that Fluttershy is the closest. Without thinking about it, she rushes to her, passes the bomb to her and runs away. “I’m sorry Fluttershy!” she says with regret.
Fluttershy looks at the bomb and sees the countdown.
15 seconds.
“AHHH!” She freaks out and rushes to her other friends. But they got the message and scattered in a panic. The timer was close to ending, she had to act fast, she caught up to Pinkie and passed the bomb to her. “Sorry Pinkie!” she also says with regret.
Pinkie sees the countdown and goes wide eyed.
2 seconds.
“EEP!”
*BOOM*
Pinkie is eliminated.
The bomb respawns in Twilight's hoof. She sees it and freaks out. “AH, NO, GET IT AWAY FROM ME!” She is running around in circles in a panic, but remembers that she has to pass it to one of her friends. She begins running towards Rainbow Dash and Rainbow Dash runs away from Twilight. “No! Don’t give it to me! Give it to AJ!” she shouts.
“What?! Why me!?”
“Cause I don’t want it!”
“Ah don’t want it either!” Applejack runs away from Rainbow Dash and Twilight. Twilight was getting closer. Rainbow Dash had to think fast. She does a sharp turn dodging Twilight completely and strikes Rarity who was close. “Gah!” cried Rarity. She is stunned and can’t move for a few seconds. Twilight sees her chance and passes the bomb to Rarity. “I’m so sorry Rarity!” Once Rarity regains her senses she looks around herself. She then hears the sound of a timer. Looking at her hoof she sees the bomb is with her again.
12 seconds.
“AHH! NOT AGAIN!” she starts running to her friends again, they all scatter once again. She leaps at Applejack but the cowpony dodges out of the way in time and runs. 3 seconds left on the bomb. “DAMN YOU RAINBOW DASH!”
*BOOM*
Rarity is eliminated.
“Sorry Rarity.” says Rainbow Dash. unlucky for her the bomb respawns in her hoof. Seeing that she has the bomb, she rushes towards Applejack. Managing to catch up, Rainbow Dash stuns her and passes it on to her. “Gah!” Applejack cries and is unable to move for a few seconds. When she is able to move, she sees the bomb in her hoof.
22 seconds left.
“OH SHIT!” she screams. Now having to get rid of the bomb, she rushes after Rainbow Dash. “Get back here RD!” “No way cowpony!” she kept chasing Rainbow until she cornered her and passed the bomb back to her. “Ya can have that back RD!” Applejack runs away. “HEY!” Rainbow Dash yells. The bomb beeps signaling that it’s close to exploding.
8 seconds left.
Wasting no time, Rainbow Dash begins sprinting towards Fluttershy. Fluttershy “eeps” and runs away. However, she wasn’t looking where she was going and runs into a wall. Rainbow Dash saw her chance and passed the bomb to Fluttershy. After shaking her head to clear away the stars she was seeing, Fluttershy looked at her hoof and saw the bomb.
3 seconds left.
“AHHHH!”
*BOOM*
Fluttershy is eliminated.
Once again the bomb respawns, but now is with Applejack. “OH HELL NO! Why did ya spawn on ME ya stupid bomb!” she began running towards Rainbow Dash again. Rainbow Dash starts running away from her. “Oh come on AJ! Why me?!” she cries. “Cause ya got Fluttershy eliminated.” she replied. Twilight was hiding next to a set of stairs. She could hear Applejack and Rainbow Dash chasing each other. Applejack was able to pass the bomb to Rainbow Dash and runs away. Rainbow Dash was mad and gave chase, but then she noticed that someone is still in the game. TWILIGHT! She looked around for Twilight, completely forgetting that she is still here. She then noticed a staircase a little bit in front of her. She also noticed a purple horn sticking out of the stairs behind it. Rainbow Dash looks at the bombs.
15 seconds left.
She had time, slowly but surely she made her way towards the stairs. Once she got close, she jumped in front of Twilight and startled her. “Found you!” “AHH!” Twilight attempts to stun Rainbow to get away but Rainbow Dash is holding the bomb and can’t be stunned. Rainbow Dash gently passes the bomb to Twilight. “Here you go.” Then she trots away. Twilight looked at the bomb.
2 seconds left.
“OH NOOOOOO!”
*BOOM*
Twilight is eliminated.
For the final time, the bomb respawns and is with Applejack. “Just you and me RD.” Applejack challenges. “And I’ll be the one who wins AJ!” Rainbow Dash challenged back. Applejack begins to chase Rainbow Dash around the area, Rainbow Dash was able to dodge and escape Applejack for a good long while. However Applejack finally caught up to her and passed the bomb to her after stunning her. “Bye RD!” she said while running away. “Hey! get back here!” she ran after Applejack. She too was able to dodge and escape Rainbow Dash for a bit but she accidentally cornered herself. “Uh oh!” “I have you now AJ! You are going down!” Rainbow Dash leaps towards Applejack, but Applejack dodged out of the way. Rainbow Dash only missed by inches. She crashed straight into a wall. Applejack saw her chance and ran for it. The bomb timer beeping very fast. Rainbow Dash looked at the bomb and froze.
3 seconds left.
“Ah crap.”
*BOOM*
Rainbow Dash is eliminated.
*DING* *DING* *DING*
Applejack wins the minigame.
All the girls returned standing next to each other in a certain order.
Applejack: 1st
Rainbow Dash: 2nd
Twilight Sparkle: 3rd
Fluttershy: 4th
Rarity: 5th
Pinkie Pie: 6th
Applejack gained 10 keys, Rainbow gained 8 keys, Twilight gained 6 keys, Fluttershy gained 4 keys, Rarity gained 2 keys, and Pinkie, being last, didn’t gain any keys.
1st - 4th place were given items. Applejack got a swap portal, Rainbow got a wrecking ball, Twilight got a health kit, and Fluttershy got a cactus. Sadly Rarity and Pinkie didn’t get any item.
