Neutron Nova has it all. Great parents, good life. But he's never been fully... satisfied. Yes, he's the son of Twilight Sparkle and all that but he doesn't just want to lounge around governing things. And then there's these odd looks he gets in the streets. Not just tossed to him, but to his parents.

Yes, he accepts he's the product of a harem but that just surely can't be it... right? It's almost like ponies are... afraid really. Oh yes, he's heard whispers and rumors about Twilight having changed -and not necessarily for the better- in the 20 years since Grogar's defeat but not all of them can be true... right?

But when the Map leads him to a mysterious cave and gives him this power beyond time itself, maybe just maybe he can find out what happened to his mother and maybe redeem himself along the way.
