After dealing with his depression and self-loathing, Sirius, a former human, starts his life anew. Of course, his mental and physical scars will remain, the memories will last until his last breath, but none of it would stop him from living the life he wanted.

Grateful for his salvation in this new world, Sirius promised himself to become its protector. There were many who could need help, and it would be right for him to answer these calls. Ponies helped him crawl out of his grave, and it was now his time to show that he too was capable of helping others.

Meanwhile, an interesting thought continues to work its way into his mind. He often thought about his love for Iclyn, a pegasus that helped him the most. Free from his doubts and fears, he desires to explore the relationship further, and maybe eventually he would propose to her and even create a family.

However, reality proves that nothing goes as smoothly as one would desire. Darkness rises from different corners of the world, threatening the peace and harmony of Sirius' new home. Along with others, he will stand to defend it.
