Enter!” the royal voice of Princess Celestia boomed through the Canterlot courtroom. The large, brown doors opened, bringing in Raindow Dash bounded in chains, surrounded my 4 colts holding them in their mouths. The jury turned their heads to see the convicted criminal walk down the aisle way. RD smiled sheepishly as she headed over to the defendants stable. Her chains were released, as the guards surrounded the box. Dash took a seat next to Twilight Sparkle, her acting lawyer.      She looks at the four of her friends in the jury, then up to Celestia in the judges box (give me a break, ok, I don’t know court terminology). Celestia then applied her reading glasses with her magic and read a piece of parchment. “Rainbow Dash, you are being held for the following charges: 6 counts of murder, 3 counts of attempted murder, 9 counts of assault, and 1 count of robbery.” The princess then looked down to their box.      “Twilight, my student, I didn’t expect you to be there. Rainbow Dash, where’s your lawyer?” Her gaze switched to Rainbow Dash, who smiled and looked down sheepishly. “Yeah, about that….” The gaze of the judge was removed and shifted to the paper, making adjustments with her quill. “Make that 7 counts of murder.” The piece of paper was lowered from the princess’ eyes and was refocused to the defendant.       “Rainbow Dash” Celestia began in her regal voice. “You are hereby banished for your heinous acts against PonyVille and all of Equestria. Have you any words in your defense?” She looked over to Twilight “Any bright ideas, Twi?” She said with a slightly hopeful smile. He said nothing, only looking down. “Alright guards, take her down to the portal.”      Rainbow Dash sighed. Only if she had listened to her friends, none of this would’ve happened….None of it…      “Rainbow Dash, over here!” the pink pony yelled. This was about 4 or 5 weeks ago, and the gang decided to group up for a game of pass the cloud. Dash threw the cloud puff in the air, turned, and gave it a big ‘smack’ as she hit it with her back hooves. When Pinkie tried to jump up and hit it, she was sent flying into a bush. The other five glanced over, to see what was taking so long. But then the cloud was sent in the direction of Applejack, starting a sprint. She jumped up and caught it with her mouth, then throwing it over to Twilight.      “Twilight?” She rose her head at the sound of someone calling her name, but reacted to late. The puff smacked her in the face, making her drop the book she was reading. She patted down her mane, and picked up the rusty brown book with yellow bindings. “What’cha readin’ there Twi?” said Applejack with a questioning look on her face. Twilight Sparkle opened to the page she was reading, spreading the cover so her friends could see.      The picture in the center of the pages showed a pair of teeth. Then there were a few paragraphs on the sides of the pages.      “You’re training to be a dentist?” said Rainbow Dash, titling her head in confusion. Twilight gave a short chuckle. “No, silly, I’m reading about the Fang Hooves” The 5 ponies started in confusion, and got closer to the book. “Princess Celestia informed me that they were a new type of pony in Equestria. She wanted me to research them, to see what I could find. Wanna see?” Fluttershy, AJ, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, and Pinkie Pie nodded in unison. The Fang Hooves are a new type of pony found in the Southern Region of the Everfree Forest. Very few are known to travel to our lands. Most of the species are earth ponies but some, in very rare cases, can be either a Pegasus or unicorn. Some members of the species are very dangerous, and spread their gene with a bite, hence the name. Once bitten, you are considered a member of their species. Some have been known to reside in Canterlot or other lands in Equestria. They are identifiable by their moon themed coats and long fangs that protrude out the muzzle. Beware when meeting one of these ponies, because they might not always be nice!      Twilight closed the book, then sighed. “Celestia wants me to see if I can find any Fang Hooves and report them to her. She’s expecting a report by Wednesday! She plopped down. “Tonight I’m headed with Spike out to the Forest. Any of you interested in coming?” The others dug their eyes into the ground, all except Rainbow Dash, who jumped forward. “Can I go, can I go, can I go?” The ecstatic pegasus repeated, jumping up and down. Twilight Sparkle put a hoof (hoove or hoof, I really don’t know/care) over her head to cease her motion. “I’ve never met one of these "Fang Hoof" things before. Can I, can I, can I?!”      “The answers yes.” Twi said with a chuckle. “Just meet me behind the farm at sun down, ok?” The blue pony grew a look of concern over her face. “Bu-but-but why at sun down?” she stuttered in fear. “Because, silly, they’re like vampires, they only come out at night.” When the word “vampire” was said, Fluttershy flew faster than Rainbow Dash ever could to the nearest bush, peeking out.      “Sigh.” said Twilight. “At least we know who’s not coming.      Rainbow Dash trotted up the road, coming up on a hill. Once she got over it, she could see Sweet Apple Acres, and with a tough squint, she could see two specks in the distance. “Looks like they beat me. I’ll show them!” She zoomed as fast as she could over the farm, the noise waking Sweetie Belle, who slept upstairs. Looking back to say sorry, she didn’t notice the large apple tree in her path. She slammed into it, knocking down apples. Twilight and Spike jumped.      “Did you hear that?” Spike said, scooting over closer to Twilight. She gave a nod. Twilight ran/dragged Spike over to where the noise came from when she saw Rainbow Dash dizzy, rubbing her head. She readjusted her vision to Spike and Twi looking down at her. “Oh, hey guys.” RD laughed. Twilight Sparkle rolled her eyes, turning around heading to the white fence. “Alright, at least you made it in one piece. Let’s head off!”      Walking back to where Twi and Spike were originally, they hopped the white fence and headed into the dark forest. The crickets and rustling bushes added to the night ambience. Twilight walked with confidence in her stride, with no hints of fear, while Spike, on the other hand, clung to her constantly, jumping  every time an owl hooted, or a grasshopper called. “Spike, you’re going to mess up my mane!” said Twilight. He let out a nervous chuckle, stepping away from her. “What if Rarity was here?” Spike  shook his head back and forth, changing attitude completely. He threw on a false bravado and puffed his chest up to twice his size. “Spike” he began “is scared of nothing!” Just then a small squirrel crawled across the road, causing Spike to jump up on Twilight. The two ponies laughed while Spike folded his arms and looked the other way.      “Rainbow Dash, you think you can fly up and-“ she was cut short when Dash lifted up her wing. “I don’t think I’m gonna be flying tonight, Twi. I got kinda screwed up in that fall of mine.” Twilight Sparkle then gave a grunt. Dash then lowered her wing and continued their stroll.  Up ahead, the path ended at a cliff, rocks lowering in elevation and ending at the ground near the sea. Of course, the two ponies and dragon didn’t notice this while they were in the middle of a chat.      “So Spike, are you excited to meet the Fang Hooves?” He shuddered at the name. “He he, maybe just a little.” Rainbow Dash looked his way. “You have nothing to worry about, they’re probably the friendly kin-“ Rainbow Dash was cut off when she tripped and fell down the rocks, hitting her back, legs, head, and other body parts. “Spike and Twilight looked form above in horror “Daaassh!” Twilight called, but was to no avail. She falling pony was being thrashed and hit way too much to get a hold of what was occurring. She then hit her last ‘thump’ at the sand. Spike and Twilight held each other.      “Quickly Spike, go to town and get the others!” Spike nodded, and hurried to town. Twilight tried to see her, but rocks that jutted out from the cliff obscured her view. She bit her lip and hoped that Spike would hurry up and get there fast.      Rainbow Dash woke up in a haze, eyes blurry and nodding. There were 2 ponies talking by a fire. She was too dizzy and disoriented to hear what they were talking about. She removed the sheet from her body and got up. “Where am I…” she said. The three turned towards her. One was black with white hair and red eyes. His cutie mark was what looked to be three purple bubbles. Rainbow tried to make it out, but she couldn’t tell what it was. The other pony was a grey mare with black hair and white eyes, a red ribbon tied in a bun in her hair. Her cutie mark was a pair of fangs.      “Seems you took quite a fall” said the male, walking to Rainbow Dash. “I’m Poison Scar” he said, reaching out his hoof. Rainbow took it, not even catching his name. “Listen, Scar-guy, thanks and everything put I gotta go.” She let out her wings and tried to fly, put instead got a sharp pain and fell to the floor. “Yeah, we ran out here as soon as we heard you fall. We don’t get many visitors in here.” He gave a chuckle. The other pony gave him a hard punch, embedding the meaning “this isn’t the time for your comedy act”. They helped the squirming pony to the table where she was initially and laid her down. The two went back to the fire placed and talked more.      RD sat up and stretched her ear over. She heard fragments of the conversation that the two ponies were having over by the fire. “Should we do it…..she may not know….but what will..” That was it. She then quickly laid back down as the two headed over here. “Um, excuse us, what was your name?”      “Rainbow Dash.”      “Ok, Rainbow Dash. My name is Soft Scratch. Don’t freak out, ok?” Dash gave a nod as the pony opened her mouth revealing her fangs. RD’s eyes widened in excitement as she found out that the two were Fang Hooves.      “OMIGOSHOMIGOSHOMIGOSHOMIGOSH” Rainbow repeated in excitement. “So you’re..”      “Yep.” Said Poison Scar. “Fang Hooves. Now this bite won’t hurt at all, you just need to stay perfectly still..” Rainbow Dash was still ecstatic, but when the word bite registered in her mind, she stopped. “Wait, did you say bite?”      “You get her arms, I got her legs.”      “What?” RD tried wiggling out of the Fang Hooves hold, but found them too strong to be released from. “OK, Rainbow Dash, this is going to be for your own good. It’ll only hurt a second.”      “Wait, so you’re turning me into one of you?”      “Yep.” This did nothing to ease her rage as she struggled more and more, knocking several things off of the surrounding tables. “OK, here goes nothing.”      A large party of ponies approached the edge of the cliff, filling in the space that Twilight had just occupied to herself. The pack was led by a very tired and panting Spike, bending over and out of breath. “Hey there, Twilight, we came as fast as we could.” Said Mayor Mare, also out of breath.      “Yeah, if someone didn’t stop for an apple or two, we would’ve been here faster.” Said Applejack, gazing at a blushing Pinkie Pie. “Well, where is she?” asked Rarity. “Well, just when we were heading out, Rainbow Dash tripped and fell off of the cliff. And then I-“      “No she didn’t.” a voice piped up.      “Well, I was here, and I don’t think I or Spike could’ve mistaken such a-“ Twi was tapped on the shoulder. She looked one way, but saw nothing, then looking the other way and saw-      “DASHIE” she trotted forward and gave her a big hug. “What happened, I thought you fell off that cliff, I was so worried!” Rainbow Dash smiled.      “Nah, it didn’t hurt a bit. Just a little scratch.”      “But what about your wing?” said Spike. Rainbow laughed and gave an assuring smile. “Don’t worry about it little tyke.” Spike smiled and gave her a hug. Twilight was curious. The wing? She just took a 150 foot fall! But yet she was walking and talking in perfect health.      “Hmmmm…” Twilight let the thought go and was just happy that her friend came out unscathed. “Man, we didn’t even get to meet the Fang Hooves.”      Rainbow Dash’s heart skipped a beat as she recalled what happened down in the cave less than 20 minutes ago.      “Yo Dash. You alright?”      “I told you ya used to much venom.”      “How was I supposed to know? A calculator?” The two continued to argue as the blue pony woke up. “Sigh, I knew I should’ve done it. She’s probably DEAD by now.”      “Ok, shut UP, if she WAS dead you’d be SURE to wake her up.”       “You sure would. What in the heck are you two talking about. And what happened, I feel dizzy..” The pony fell back on the wooden table, her head landing on a pillow. Déjà vu, Rainbow Dash said to herself. The two Fang Hooves got on either side of her and looked down at her. “You alright bud?”      “Ok, um, Rainbow Dash is it?” the mare said. “Ok, how do I say this…” she put her hoof under her chin.      “You’re a Fang Hoof”       Rainbow Dash looked at her hooves, and then picked up a mirror. She noticed that her mane was unaffected, but her eyes were a cold black. Rubbing under her chin as a thought pusher, she soon yanked her hoof back, also noticing that her canine grew substantially and now had a very sharp point.       "Uh, Dash, you looked like you were kinda in pain back there. It was the only thing we could've thought to do. Think you could forgive us?" RD lowered the mirror and looked at them. "Forgive you?" The two cringed ready for a backlash.      "Are you kidding? This is the best thing EVER!" she got up from the wooden table and started prancing in circles. "I'm a Fang Hoof, I'm a Fang Hoof." Soft Scratch grasped her hooves and tried to stop her. After a few failed attempts to get her attention, she finally got a hold on her and got her focus. "Listen Dash, this is no laughing matter." Dash sat back down as she began a lecture.      "Dash, this is very important. If you don't listen to what we say, you'd be putting us, your friends, and more importantly yourself in danger, OK?" Dash replied, "How could I ever be in danger, I'm a Fang Hoof!" Soft Scratch sighed. "Listen, you know how in vampire movies, they need to suck blood to live? The wooden stakes, garlic, holy cross, all that jazz." Poison Scar stepped in place and began an explanation of his own.      "You know what this is?" he said, holding a plastic package with some liquid in it. "Well, it's blood, here." he threw the blood over to her, catching it her hooves. "We don't want you going around hurting anypony, so as a new-blood, we're going to have to keep you in stock of blood." His companion then began her speech again. "Return to us every two days for a refill." Rainbow looked down at the pack, then back at Scratch. "Go ahead, drink up." Rainbow bit open the package with her teeth, nearly spit it out, but swallowed.      "Yeah." said Poison Scar. "The first time you try it you may not like it. It's an acquired taste." Just then, Soft Scratch went to the wooden, black plated door and opened it. "Don't forget Rainbow Dash."      "Tell NO one we are here. And tell NO one what you are. Got it?" And with a nod, Dash flew out of the door and out to the beach where she flew upwards towards the top of the cliff.      About a week from then, things were going fine. She was interacting with her friends daily as if nothing occurred. Of course, she had to find away to conceal the discoloration of her eyes. Her solution was glasses, which only made Twilight Sparkle more suspicious of her behavior. Nevertheless, she forgot about it and continued to work in the library dutifully. One night, after the 6 went for a picnic, they all went their separate ways. Twilight went to finish her letter to Celestia, Pinkie Pie had to close up shop, Rarity and Fluttershy went to their afternoon appointment, and Applejack was behind on bucking apples. This left only one pony, who had nothing to do that night      Rainbow Dash      Upon arriving at her home in the clouds, she noticed a piece of paper wrapped in a red ribbon at her doorstep.      "A note, uh?" She undid the ribbon and read the note. Twi. Meet us the Bar right down the street from Sugarcube Corner. She looked down and saw a dark brown building that she hadn't noticed before. See you at 9 It was signed Scar and Scratch. Hmmm..she said, thinking. She had no other plans. She was off work for another 3 days. After one final consideration, she decided that she was free to go. As the blue pegasus lighted herself to the ground about 10 feet away from the door of the bar, she noticed two other ponies coming from inside the bar, A mare with a red mane as dark as crimson and a colt ghostly white with sharp, red eyes. It wasn't Soft Scratch or Poison Scar. They trotted up to the blue pegasus and stopped right before her. "Greetings Rainbow Dash, We have been expecting you" Said the mare. " I am Alice Red and this is my collegue, Baron. Please come with us." Rainbow Followed the mare and the ghastly looking Baron into the bar,the inside of the bar was dimly lit and had a chill to the air. Baron and Alice proceeded to a door near the back of the room and banged his hoof against it 5 times, 2 loud bangs followed by 3 softer bangs. "Who goes there? asked a voice on the other side of the door."It is I, Alice" said the Dark red mare. The door creaked open and the mare walked in. Rainbow Dash, however, wasn't so eager to go in. She didn't have the opportunity to say so, as the white pony shoved her in. The room contained 8, now 10 ponies. 3 pegasi, 2 unicorns, one earth pony, and then, of course, Soft Scratch and Poison Scar. "Greetings Rainbow Dash, It seem you have made your way to the tavern on time." Soft Scratch. " Hey sorry about you know, almost killing you back on that cliff. I mean, I had to do it, it was either turn you into our kind or let you die." Says Poison Scar. "It would seem that fate has brought you to this little meeting unexpectantly. We apologise for the abrupt distruption, but it would seem that it has almost been 3 days since you last fed and we need to teach you to fend for yourself since we may not always be around to supply you with your thrist." said Soft Scratch. She sheepishly exerted a chuckle and nodded. "Wow, well, uh, don't worry about it." You better not worry about it, Rainbow said to herself. Say one wrong thing and you're over with. "Well now that we have our apologies out of the way..." began Scar,  "You know that we Are Fanged Hooves but you may have noticed thes other ponies here that are clearly not of out race..." Soft Scratch was cut off by a curiouis Rainbow dash."Ya.. who are they?" asked Rainbow dash, pondering the thought further. "They are our connection to the outside world of the everfree forest, they tell us when to hunt and when to stay inside the forest... They help us capture out....prey...." says Soft Scratch in a low tone but still audible. "Prey? what do you mean they HELP you capture YOUR...Prey...?" Askes Rainbow Dash. "Sigh...How should I put this, I can't tell you without being blunt, Rainbow... Have you noticed any stange disappearances lately?" They had been walking for a long time in the dark, large forest. It wasn't the Everfree- that was on the other side of Ponyville, which was at least  After seeing no distinct buildings or landmarks, Rainbow began to wonder what was going on. Without voicing her question, Scar had seemed to know what she was thinking. "Don't worry," he said, looking at her. "We're almost there." Pushing through some brush, the party of 3, Soft Scratch, Poison Scar, and of course, Dash was greeted by a forboding wall of grass. Just as the two were preparing to charge at the barricade, Rainbow held up a hoof. "I can fly up and see." Upon seeing her getting ready to launch, Scratch knocked her over. "Hey, what was that for!?" Dash asked. Soft Scratch looked down at the pegasi on the ground. "Look, we're kinda not supposed to be here, and with you flying around everywhere, it's almost like you're waving a sign for a party. I mean, look at you!" She then realized what Scratch was trying to say, looking at her colors, but then realizing that she wasn't all spectrum made. Catching this thought, she kind of slumped against a tree. "Scratch, you're a jerk." said Scar. "Let me handle this."      "Look," he started. "We're going to get in here without being seen. What Scratch is trying to say is that you're kind of a risk of us getting caught. See her?" They looked over to her, who in turn, faced the opposite way and folder her arms. "She's pissed at not being able to lead the mission. Just sit over there until we clear this alright?" His words were, in a way, calming, and Rainbow Dash did just that. Not presently issued any tasks, Rainbow decided to have a walk, keeping her mind and body active. Dash was not known to be a patient soul. Remaining in sight of Soft Scratch and Poision Scar, she lifted herself up with her wings, alighted to the ground, and began a purposeful trot.       Not paying any attention, she clumsily tripped over a large grey boulder. Alleviating her rage, she struck at it with her back hooves. It went a lot farther than she expected- mainly because she didn't expect it to move at all.  The forceful hit launched the hard, heavy boulder into the brush that they had before been blocked by. The rock landing with a thud, Dash flinched at the sound and the other two ponies in the party averted their eyes towards her. Seeing the full extent of ehr own hit, her mouth was held agape in amazement.      "Wow! You guys didn't tell me I could hit rocks and stuff!" she exclaimed. "Can I go hit more stuff?" Scar leaned towards Scratch and whispered in her ear.      "Can you do that?" he said. She nodded no. The grey colored mare walked forward to Rainbow. "Look through that hole you made." Rainbow Dash peered through the gaping hole caused by the gargantuan rock
