Fluttershy sat on the floor, right next to the couch where her best friend was lying relaxedly. Fluttershy raised her head slightly. Originally, Discord was bigger than her, now he looked even more giant when she was in this miniature state. That face, the face of a villain who had once brought terror and chaos all over Equestria, was now sleeping peacefully in front of her eyes. Fluttershy remembered the time she had to endure her whole fear when facing the Lord of Chaos, who also gave her a sense of security whenever she was with her close friend. "FLUTTERSHY! SIT BACK HERE RIGHT NOW!!!!" The filly obediently returned to her old seat in a few seconds and sat there as she was frozen with a frightened face. Discord chuckled. Since Fluttershy became a filly, Discord has started to try some new tricks on the little one. And seems like he has succeeded with one of them. Every time he shouted and called Fluttershy's name, she would immediately sit down in front of him like a puppy, even when she did nothing wrong. Gradually, it became a habit, Fluttershy knew that Discord only shouted to tease her, but she still did that reflexively. Discord has never seen her being so pessimistic like this before. He felt a little helpless. But Fluttershy trusted him and told him everything, so now is his turn. Discord knew he had to help her get rid of these wrong thoughts immediately. "Listen Discord, I know very well what I'm saying. I need everypony, but no one really needs me. I am completely useless and weak, right?! Just look at me, a pegasus can't even fly as well as others?..." "Stop!!! You don't know what you are saying!" In spite of being startled, Fluttershy was still stubborn. "Of course I do!" "No, you don't! Let me show you the problem." As soon as he finished speaking, there was a flash after Discord snapped. Fluttershy opened her eyes and realized that they were standing on the grass. Before she could ask anything, Discord dragged her to hide behind a nearby bush with him. "Um... What are we hiding from? Discord and Fluttershy teleported to the last place, the sanctuary that she and her friends built together. It was so peaceful, with green trees, clean water and fresh air. A perfect place for all kinds of creatures to come and rest, as she wanted. A few bunnies ran close to the pegasus. She smiled sweetly. "Without you, would these animals have a safe shelter for all of them?" Suddenly, Discord carried Fluttershy with his talon and hugged her tightly. The yellow pony was surprised, but quickly enjoyed the warmth from the hug. "And without you, I would continue to turn Ponyville into Chaos Capital of the world and would never be able to see the magic of friendship." He said without noticing that Fluttershy was staring at him. She had never seen him like this before. He was serious, but his words were still so sweet and warm. He looked down at her teal blue eyes while rubbing her mane. His gaze was strange, it was the first time she had ever seen that look in a naughty friend as Discord. There was something attracted her in those eyes, something that she didn't even want to leave. But she continued to rub her face against Discord's chest. "You see. You don't need the Element to be a hero, because you're the Element. The true Kindness is deep inside your heart, and nothing can change it. Maybe you're right, you're not the only pony who can take care of animals, but you are the only one can truly understand what they need. You are not the only pony who have kindness, but no one is more kind and gentle than you. You don't need to fly well or have powerful magic to be special, 'cause you're special when you're being yourself. Do you get what I'm trying to tell you now?" "Yes..." "Show me." "I'm not useless. I don't need to have powerful magic like Twilight, or a fast speed like Rainbow Dash, or even fanshionable style like Rarity. I have my own personalities. So... my thoughts were all wrong.
