He’d slaughtered them all. The demons that fought were all dead. Crushed beneath the foot of hit boot as if they were dirt. He continued walking his path. Forward.

It was quiet, and it was unsettling. For the first time in his life the Doomslayer felt uneasy. The armies that were dumb enough to fight him had all parished, and those who ran were now hiding.

Every minute the Doomslayer could hear what sounded like crying as he walked past a crevice. It almost made him saddened when he would tear the hiding demon apart. He still had a job to do. They may have yielded to his might, but he still has yet to exterminate them all.

He was on constant alert during this time. The horrified demons might try and defend themselves. He wanted that though. He always enjoyed the rush of fighting a large group of demons.

Vaga was beginning to scan the area. Ever since the Doomslayer had preserved him from destruction, Vaga was willing to go against his own programming in order to help the Doomslayer destroy what was left of the demonic threat in tartarus.

As the Doomslayer walked towards the ledge of a nearby cliff side, he eyed the red hellish environment. It was once covered in demons, with cacodemons flying through the air. Now there was nothing in sight. Once more was everything cowering in the depths of hell. Once more did every living thing not even attempt to run when found. The demons had yielded, and they have accepted this fate.

The Doomslayer was proud of his work. The demons could never harm another world again, He never had to enter another world again, and when he killed off the last of these monsters he could attempt to find a way home.

‘What if I’m feared when I get home?”. He questioned himself. Vaga materialized in front of the Doomslayer in a holographic form. “Please do not think like that my friend. It isn’t healthy.”. Vaga said before disappearing.

The Doomslayer wanted to chuckle but sadly had lost that ability a long time ago. He had the betrayer use argent energy in a way that would give Vaga access to the Doomslayers thoughts. Vaga was his voice, he was his ally, and he was his friend. His only friend.

There was a stomping noise coming from below the Doomslayers perch. He looked down below to see a massive amount of demons running wildly towards one location. The Doomslayer was quick to jump off the ledge.

As he descended he used his super shotguns meat hook to grapple onto a Cacademon. The Doomslayer quickly blasted the demon full of lead before landing on a platform of rock.

He looked down to see no demons had noticed. He continued his advancement. The demons were all going to one place. It was completely demon made shrine.

It was obvious to the Doomslayer that it was a portal. ‘Just when I thought I was finished.’. He thought to himself. Vaga tried to cheer him up as quietly as possible. “At least you won't be bored for a while.”. He said in that robotic voice of his. Behind his helmet, the Doomslayer smiled.

He jumped from his new perch and landed a short distance from the portal. It was beginning to glow. The Doomslayer changed his weapon to his chaingun and switched the mod out for the mobile turret mod. Afterwards he pulled the gun into three parts and fired fired at once.

Several demons were caught in the line of fire, and were left with either holes or no upper body. A Mancubus had attempted to confront the Doomslayer but, he was to quick. The Doomslayer had pulled out his rocket launcher and used the lock on burst attachment. It fired three rockets at a time, then he fired one more rocket. The Mancubus had its left arm blown off, and was staggering.

The Doomslayer charged at the beast and lunged at it, almost knocking it down. He then made a fist with his left hand and his wrist sword emerge. He then stabbed the Mancubus in the already exposed heart and yanked it out. The Doomslayer proceeded to shove the heart down the Mancubus’s throat.

The Doomslayer ran backwards and watched as the Mancubus then exploded, with its entrails flying through the air. The only thing left was the still standing spinal cord with the head attached to it.

The Doomslayer turned his attention to a sudden noise. A summoner had launched one of its attacks at him. He used his thruster and easily dodged the incoming projectile. He equipped his super shotgun and used hit meat hook to fling himself towards the summoner. As he was in striking distance he fired his gun. The result was a blood covered summoner that was in half.

The demons that had arrived were running away except for a select few. A Baron Of Hell Came Charging at the Doomslayer. He used his combat shotgun and equip the gatling mod. The shotgun then started to fire extremely quickly. It tore off the Barons outer shell, and revealed its reddish yellow inside. The Doomslayer pulled the rocket launcher out once more and shot. The Baron staggered and was kneeling down, clutching his wound.

The Doomslayer grabbed the Baron by his horn and used his wrist sword to stab the baron through the head. An Imp was left, and it was running past the Doomslayer. He was about the use his meat hook on his super shotgun but he saw that the portal was now active and falling apart at the same time.

‘If just one demon gets out of tartarus then it could be the end. If I leave then the demons will grow in numbers, making my whole life's work to stop them meaningless.’ just as he was about to continue to debate more on if he should follow the demon or not, a being with a glowing red ax appeared.

It had pale skin with two horns. Its ax had a skull on the edge of it and it wore similar armor to the Doomslayer. Holstered like a pistol on its leg was a super shotgun. ‘Great a marauder.’ the Doomslayer thought to himself.

The marauder roared and slammed its ax on the ground creating enough force to send the Doomslayer flying to the side. The Marauder charged towards the portal and quickly went through. The other demons had went off to hide.

The Doomslayer didn’t need to think. He charged at the portal, and jumped through. While jumping through all he could see where hallucinations that he would normally see when going through a demon made teleporter. He had gone through many before, and had traveled to other worlds before. This time was no different.

Fluttershy was nearly home after her trip at sea. It was supposed to be relaxing. Instead it she was forced to see more death than she would have ever wanted to see in her life.

All she wanted to do now was get home and be with the comfort of her animal friends. It was a heavenly thought to her at the moment. She could see the look on little angels face when she gets home. He would be so happy to see her again.

It was around six o’clock, and several ponies were still out either closing their shops or just enjoying the nice warm air. Fluttershy couldn’t blame them though. It was perfect weather for an evening stroll.

Even Rainbow Dash was flying around trying to tire herself out. The said cyan mare came down from the air and landed next to the buttermilk colored girl with pink hair. “Hows it going flutters?”. Rainbow asked.

“I'm on my way home. I can’t wait to see my animal friends again!”. Fluttershy exclaimed excitedly. Rainbow only rolled her eyes in a playful manner. “You know sometimes it looks like you care about your animals more than your own parents.”. Rainbow teased.

“OH NO! I would NEVER care about my animals more than my own parents.”. Fluttershy objected. Rainbow held her hands up in a defensive stance. “Hold up there flutters I was only teasing.”. She said. “Oh.”. Fluttershy sighed in embarrassment.

They began to talk about the trip they had, much to Fluttershy’s annoyance when a large red circle appeared over the town. It was circular and was as large as the town. “What is that?”. Fluttershy asked fearfully. “I don’t know and I don’t like it.”. Rainbow said as she and Fluttershy made their way to the center of town.

Ponies looked fearful at it for at the anomaly in the sky for a moment until Fluttershy, rarity, applejack, Rainbow dash, and pinkie came to the center of Ponyville.

“How did you get here so fast?”. Rainbow asked the other elements of harmony. “Sugarcube, we all work in the center of town, Rarity just around the corner.”. Applejack had said.

Rainbow only smacked herself in the head. “So what do you think it is?”. Fluttershy asked again. “Its a portal.”. Rarity said. Everyone only looked at her with a raised eyebrow. “What? I may not be as smart as Twilight but I know what a portal looks like, and how one works.”. She defended herself.

As Rarity defended herself Pinkie started to get her pinkie sense. She was having two at the same time. “Um pinks y'all alright?”. Applejack asked. “My Pinkie sense is acting telling me something… two things very bad will come out first and one good thing will come out last.”. She said.

“How can you just determine that?”. Rarity said. “I don’t know. All I know is that there will be blood!”. She said with a sadistic smile that scared her friends.

At that moment a skinny creature with spines coming out of its back and shoulders came out of the portal and landed on the ground. It looked up and inspected its surroundings. Its eyes then laid on the five elements of harmony. It released a hiss and started to charge while throwing a fireball.

Rarity was quick to put up a defensive shield. The fireball made contact with the shield and nearly shattered it. The monster stopped in its tracks as another being landed in the center of the town. It was pale and wore crude armor with a red ax, and had horns. It eyed its surroundings before seeing the Everfree forest in the background.

It immediately took off. Although it did look at the elements and laugh. “Kill them slowly, and if possible kill HIM when he comes through.”. The beast said. The skinny beast stopped its assault and watched the bigger monster run into the forest.

“He followed.”. Was all the skinny creature said before one last figure came through the portal. It was the closest thing to looking like an equestrian. As the figure landed they looked around to see the skinny monster.

Pinkie smiled sadistically again. Rainbow looked in awe at the figure until it approached the cowering beast. The figure grabbed it by the throat and made a fist. As they did so a sword came out of a device on their wrist. They then pulled the blade all the way up, almost cutting them in half.

Fluttershy felt nauseous, while Rarity fainted, which left the shield to discharge. The figure then turned towards the elements. Pinkie kept her smile, Fluttershy was pale although it was faked. She too was in awe. Rainbow was originally geeking out, now was slightly afraid, Applejack had a frown on her face that said ‘I’ll kill you if you get too close.’.

The Doomslayer looked at the ponies in front of him. They were ponies. He quickly darted his eyes in every which way. There was the smell of apple pies, there was green grass everywhere, standing buildings, clouds that had a few curious Pegasus in them. ‘It can’t be.’. He thought to himself.

He then rotated completely around. He could see a mountain with a castle in the distance. That was all the confirmation he needed. He fell to his knees and began to openly weep with no tears coming from his eyes. He was silent, and he knew that.

He heard the grass crunch beneath a ponies shoes as they walked towards him. It was strange to him. No one would have the balls, or boobs to approach the Doomslayer.

“Um… are you ok?”. A sweet and gentle voice said. The Doomslayer wanted to respond, though he didn’t have the voice to respond. He just looked at her. She had buttermilk fur with pink hair. She wore a green skirt with a few pieces of jewelry in the shape of leaves to go with it.

He just nodded. He looked over to Princess Celestia’s castle, and he pointed to it. “Um… you want to go to the castle up there?”. Fluttershy asked. The Doomslayer only nodded.

“I don’t know if you could get up there without a-”. He cut her off as he stood up and began to walk towards the mountain, leaving her and some very confused elements behind.

“What was that all about?”. Rainbow asked. “He wanted to go to the castle.”. Fluttershy answered her friend. “And you let him! Did you see what he did to that thing! It was obvious that thing was scared of him!”. Rainbow shouted.

“I know, but I could see past his helmet. I saw his eyes. I know him. I know I do I just don’t remember where.”. Fluttershy stated.

The Doomslayer made it to the base of the mountain faster than anticipated. It hadn’t even been an hour. He quickly started to climb the mountain. It was steep, but he had climbed much steeper mountains in hell. He would climb for days on end, with major disturbances from lost souls, but they wouldn’t have stopped him even if they wanted to.

The climb was faster than the jog to get to the mountains step. There weren’t any distractions, and he wasn’t climbing a fiftytwo thousand seven hundred and eighty three story mountain this time.

As he reached the top he quickly made his way to the city gates. “Halt! Who goes… there…”. The guard was at a loss for words. The Doomslayer used vegas voice in order to get his word across. “I need to speak to the Princess.”. The voice wasn’t as robotic and was actually kinda deep. The guard just gulped and thought it was wise to not upset him.

‘Some things never change.’. The Doomslayer thought. ‘Royal guard was always a joke. Even when I joined all those years ago.’. He thought to himself more as the guard escorted him through the city.

“What do you mean you know him shy?”. Rarity asked. “I don’t know. For some reason I just know that I know him. I've seen him a long time ago.”. She said. “In a galaxy far far away!” Pinkie piped in with giggles.

Everyone eyed her with an unamused look. “What? Except for the seventh , eighth, and upcoming 9th movies, the entire saga is great!”. Pinkie defended herself.

“What in the hay are ya talkin bout sugarcup?”. Applejack said. “It’s just pinkie being pinkie again.”. Rarity confirmed. Pinkie then turned around and started mumbling while walking away.

Before she was out of earshot, she turned around. “I LOVE STAR WARS!”. She said in a defensive tone before continuing to walk away with her arms crossed while mumbling.

“What's a star wars?”. Rainbow asked. Everyone shrugged in response.

“You’ll have to wait here sir while I inform the princess your here.”. The guard said. Although the Doomslayer walked past him and started to walk towards the throne room. He knew the halls by heart, he was in the guard after all.

“Wait, you can’t just go without permission!”. A guard said. Though what he said had fallen on deaf ears. The Doomslayer found the doors and quickly pushed them open. The inside of the throne room was very colorful compared to how he had last seen it.

There were so many more glass paintings, and a few other noticeable changes such as a change in the interior design and the change in decoration.

There she sat. On her throne, was Princess Celestia. Next to her was another alicorn that the Doomslayer was unfamiliar with. She was a dark blue with a mane that had stars in it. Her dress literally matched her mane.

“Who are you?”. Princess Celstia asked in a calm yet surprised tone. The Doomslayer looked down to see that several guards were trying to weigh him down, but were unsuccessful.

The Doomsayer quickly used vegas voice. “I thought you wouldn’t recognize me.”. Vega said as he materialized in front of the princesses who seemed to have tensed at the little man's appearance. “What do you mean wouldn’t recognize you?”. Celestia said in a questionable manner.

Vaga looked at his friend who only nodded at him. “Your majesty I would like to reintroduce the marine who gave himself to tartarus in order to prevent it from invading your world.”. He said.

Celestia’s eyes immediately shot open. Luna looked confused. “What is he talking about sister?”. She asked. Though Celestia wasn’t listening. “Your alive?”. She said. She got up from her seat and approached the Doomslayer. He nodded at her response.

She walked to the Doomslayer and attempted to remove his helmet, but he stopped her from doing so. He shook his head no. she could see his face past the helmet. It was a saddened one. She stopped her attempt. “How?”. She said with a few tears rolling down her eyes.

Vaga appeared and began to tell the Doomslayers tale. It was long and it was descriptive. He explained how he had saved countless universes in so little time.

He slayed tartarus's greatest knight. The Titan. He continued with when the demons laid their trap and locked him in a sarcophagus for a few years. He then explained the UAC and how he and the Doomslayer became partners. The tale became more subtle when they visited the Betrayer again for an upgrade for the praetor suit.

Continuing his story, of how the Doomslayer slaid nearly all the demons, until he followed two to this realm killing one. “And that's where we are now.”. Vaga ended.

Luna had been paying a great amount of attention to the story and started to idolize the Doomslayer. Celestia had done the same. She took some time to process what was told to her. She then smiled and looked at the ex marine

well, I had to go through the drawing board for this more times than I can count, but I finally finished. as you can see I love Doom more than Halo But I still Love halo. Next chapter will have the Master chief and he'll get some much needed action. although I must What was your first, First person shooter?
