Equestria Heat.

After dinner.Solar and Twilight were relaxing on with books,Spike was playing a board game with his neices.Tim had brought out his I-Pod and was about play some music.Night Glow noticed and said,"Mr.Miller.Is that a PONY-POD??Like my dads??"

Tim replied,"I guess.I didn't know you guys had these in this world."

Solar replied,"Oh yeah.I've had mine for a while now.Twilight gave it to me for Hearth's Warming a couple of years ago."

Night Glow then asked,"Do you have music on that??"

Tim replied,"Yeah I sure do,but it's all music from Earth.Mostly Rock & Roll."

Night Glow then asked,"Ohhhh.Could you play some Mr.Miller???"Then Night glow looked at Twilight and Solar and asked,"Please Mommy.Can we listen to some of Mr.Millers music??"

Solar then looked at others and asked,"You guys wanna listen to some music from Earth??"

The girls,as well as Twilight and Spike all nodded.Solar looked at Tim and said,"OK.Tim.It's you're show."

Tim swiped his I-Pod and chose music from the 80s.And said,"OK.Howabout you guys all sit in the center of the room."

As Tim set up his I-pod and speakers,everypony was moving around.Soon everypony all sat in the center of the living room.Twilight said,"This is so exciting.Music from another world."

Solar replied,"Yeah.It's kinda like I'll be listening to my heretige."

Tim then said,"OK.So the music I choose was from a time period on Earth called The 1980s.It was my dads time as a teenager.And even though I was born in the 1990s.I have always loved 80s music.The beats.The tempos and the Harmonies.So with out further ado.Here's one of my favorites.It's by a band from the Earth nation of England.They are called ABC.And this was their biggest hit."The Look of Love".

As Tim sang along with the song.Twilight,Solar.Spike and the girls began to enjoy the music.After the song ended.Everypony clapped.

Tim bowed and said,"Thank You.Thank You.Now my next pick is one from another of my favorites.It came out in 1990.And as far as I'm concerned.The 80s ended in 1991.So here's another pick.

GO WEST-KING OF WISHFUL THINKING.

Soon everypony was clapping their hands,Twilight and Solar started dancing with each other.When the song ended,everypony clapped again.

Tim smiled and again said,"Thank you."

Tim then chose 2 more songs and played them.And The family also enjoyed them.And clapped.

Solar looked at the clock and then the girls and said,"OK.girls.Bedtime."

Night Glow asked,"Dad,can we listen to one more song??Please??"

The both Art Paint and Scootaloo also said,"Please daddy??Can we??"

Solar looked at Twilight who nodded.Solar then said,"OK.One more,but then it's off to bed.Agreed??

All 3 fillies eagerly nodded.Then Tim made one more selection.And said,"Here's one more you guys will like.It's from a band called Danger-Danger.It's called,Bang Bang.

DANGER DANGER-BANG BANG.

As Tim sang along.During the chorus he pointed at Twlight,then Art,then Night Glow,finally at Scootaloo.When the song finished.Everypony clapped and Tim bowed and said,"Thank You.You've been a great audience."

Solar then looked at his daughters and said,"OK.Now off to bed.We had a deal."

The girls all said,"Awww",but did as they were told.They kissed Solar and Twilight and said goodnight to them,the each kissed Tim on the cheek said,"Good night Mr.Miller.Thanks for the music."

Tim smiled and replied,"Anytime.Good night girls."

As Twilight and Spike were putting the girls to bed.Solar looked at Tim and said,"Hey Tim.Let's go for walk."

Tim replied,"Ok.Give me a minute."

Tim then opened his briefcase and put on his shoulder holster and checked his Python,and reholstered it,then put on a jacket.

Solar asked,"Do you carry that thing every where you go??"

Tim replied,"Pretty much.It's a cop thing."

Solar said,"Uhh Tim.You do realize that your not in Los Angeles,and here.Your actually not a cop."

Tim said,"Oh.Id there a law that says I can't have a gun??Or carry one for that matter??"

Solar replied,"Well.Not technichlly.I'm just saying.You may not need that."

Tim said,"Well.There's an old saying on Earth.Better to have it,and not need it.Than need it and not have it."

Solar replied,"OK.Suit yourself."

As the two humans walked around town.It was late evening.And all the stores were closed.The only place open was a tavern.Solar looked at Tim and asked,"How about a drink??"

Tim replied,"Sounds good to me.Lead on."

Solar and Tim entered the tavern called "The Golden Shoe"And both walked up to the bar.Solar saw Berry Punch,who worked there as a bartender and said,"Hey Berrry.Whatever you got on tap,two."

Berry Punch said,"Oh hi Prince Solar.Good to see you.Two beers comin up."

Berry Punch took 2 ice cold bottles of "Sky Blue brand lager beer out of the fridge and popped both tops and placed them on the bar for Solar and Tim.

Berry Punch said,"So Solar.Who's your friend??"

Solar replied,"This is Tim Miller.Tim.This is Berry Punch."

Tim shook hands with the berry colored earth pony and said,"Hi Berry.Pleased to meet you."

They all talked as both Solar and Tim drank their beer.And had a few laughs,until a big pony walked up and said,"Well well well.Just what do we have here.It's the hairless monkey,who thinks he's a prince."

Solar and Tim turned and looked at the big red earth pony who had a blonde mane and freckles,and he looked mean enough to chew on a 2X4.Solar replied,"And who let you out after dark Assface??"

The pony replied,"Well at least I'm not as ugly as ya'all are.And who's the other monkey??Yer boyfriend.??"

Solar replied,"You jealous??"

Solar then blew a kiss at the pony,seeing as this might get ugly fast.Tim slowly put his hand inside his jacket and gripped his Python snub.

The pony got in Solars face with an angry look and just then......Started laughing and hugged Solar and said,"HAHAHAHA!!!!How are ya Solar??Good seein ya."

Solar replied,"Good seeing you too Big Mac.How are ya??"

Tim then withdrew his hand and had a look of confusion.Solar noticed and said,"Oh.Where are my manners.Tim.This is Big Macintosh.Applejacks brother.Big Mac.This is Tim Miller.He just moved here from What I would call the place I originally came from."

Big Mac shook hands with Tim and said,"Nice ta meet ya there Tim.Welcome ta Ponyville."

Tim replied,"Umm.Yeah.Thanks."

Solar then asked,"Big Mac.You wanna beer??"

Big Mac replied,"Eyup.Why not."

Solar looked over at Berry Punch and said,"Berry.Another one for Big Mac."

As the 3 were continuing to drink.Solar asked,"So Big Mac.What's new??"

Big Mac replied,"Ah gotta go ta Applelossa ina couple a days.Mah cousin Braeburn.Dang fool fell and nearly broke his back.So he's in the hospital fer about two weeks.So I gotta go help out down there.I jis don't know how Applejack will git along without me."

Solar then said,"Hey don't worry about it.If Applejack needs help.We'll all help out.I think,she learned a lesson from the last time she tried to go it alone."

Big Mac smiled and replied,"Thanks alot Solar.I mean that."Big Mac then looked at his watch and said,"Well I gotta go and hit the hay.I'll see ya.Tim.It was nice meetin ya."And finished his beer.

Tim replied,"It was nice meeting you too Big Mac."

With that.The red earth pony left the tavern and went home.Tim and Solar finished their beers and also left the tavern and headed back home.On the way,they saw 3 ponies in black. on the street.All had swords in their hands.

Tim drew his Python and asked,"Solar."Are these friends of yours??"

Solar charged his magic and replied,"No.No they're not.
