Never forget the Past part 1
I look out to the wall surrounding the city, turrets firing their rounds and cannons being loaded with flare shots and firing lighting up the battlefield outside and providing the gunners new targets to shoot.
I sign and walk back into my bedroom, I turn and look at myself in the mirror.
I am a seven and half feet tall or 90 inches and have wrought iron grey scales with two pairs of horn coming out of my head the first pair looking like the regular demons that would pop up now and again.
The other pair bending down so far that they look like tusks coming out of my head.
Im currently wearing my personally made suit of Armour I crafted out of the purist arcium I could find and painted black and gold
he's not wearing a helmet
I look at myself and hum thinking about growing some hair but im interrupted by a knock on my door which I raise an eyebrow, what could require my attention?
"You can come in" Artemis my second in command enters and bows "my king there has been reports that the equestrians are retreating just out of range of our cannons and guns but a large majority are regrouping" I nod "good oh and Artemis you know when we are to ourselves you can use my real name"
He rubs the back of his head "sorry obsidian its just that the other generals are so frustrating with there idiot plans hell one of them was to rush the ponies with our best soldiers, vehicles and weapons i mean what could that do we barley have enough resources to keep the civilians and soldiers belly's full and ammo to last for a few more days at the rate were using it and don't get me started of the ponies growing numbers and spells"
I face palm at the idea "yes that is stupid but i have a question Artemis" "Sure obsidian" "hows is the ships process?" Artemis blinks before answering "from what i got most of them are ready for departure only two galleons are left" I nod "alright is that everything?" He nods "okay go back to your post Artemis the others must be wondering where your are" he salute by putting his arm across his heart "yes sir"
He leaves the room and i sigh at what I was just told "I should have kicked Michel out of the army since the infantry disaster" I hear a beeping noise and tap my ear "what" I ask through comm's "sir the equestrians have fired some type of flare into the sky it looks like a sun with a crescent moon inside it".
My eyes widen and rush towards the balcony just as a flash appears in the sky blinding anyone who was looking directly at it, I let my tendrils burst out of the holes in the back of my armor and morph them into four wings that looked like shadows and fly to the wall as fast as I can
My feet land on the hard concrete floor of the wall and the nearby soldiers salute by putting the arm across there heart, I ignore them and hold my hand out quickly being given a pair of binoculars and looking through them right at the equestrians camp.
I see the equestrian princess's talking to what appears to be the general and nods before ordering the troops to do something while the sisters glow before wearing battle armor.
Celestia appears to be wearing a golden suit of armour the covers most of her body apart from her hooves, stomach and arms while wearing a helmet that looks identical to the guards helmet but with a long blade just in front of her horn and holding a halberd with the blade and spike on fire.
While luna wore midnight blue armour almost identical to celestia's but with the horn blade a baby blue colour and had a double bladed battle axe with the handle a blackish colour and the blades pale blue and glowing softly.
I growl before handing the binoculars back to the soldier and turn to Artemis who just arrived and is out of breath "call an evacuation of everyone "Artemis looks at me "everyone sir?" "Yes everyone and get them to fort kraken and ready project Sigma along with project Juggernaut " he salutes before shouting the order.
"Alright everyone guard the civilians on there way out, shot any equestrian you see and if you think there still alive shoot them again" I say before summoning my helmet which was a sorta spartan looking helmet but had spikes reaching towards the sky and near the eye holes and the top part of the mouth with enough room for my tusk horns to miss the helmet and two holes in the head for my horns and long sharp pieces of flexible metal acting like hair.
Imagine the sword whip but shorter for the hair
They salute before leaving, I put my helmet on and summon my weapon of choice which was a doubled bladed axe with a long spike at the top of the handle and a hidden detachable short sword at the bottom of the handle along with a kite shield with long spikes at the front with my symbol.
My symbol was of a blank mask with one half black while the other white with two slits for eye holes with purple lines for eyes wearing a jester hat but with the colours switching places.
I morph my tendrils into blades of any type from swords, spears, axes, E.C.T and crack my neck ready to defend my people at any cost.
Artemis arrives with a small container made of the purist arcium we could find and a large crate following behind him pushed by two soldiers.
I smile "Good work Artemis, You two after this you will be promoted now leave us" they salute and rush back to the evacuation guard, Artemis hand me the container and i open it with my claw and using my magic for it to register that it was me and not some random Hunavas trying to unlock secrets they shall never know.
The container open too two marquise shaped gems the color a grey purple with a single rune in the middle of them colored a neon green.
I smile as i watch my soul gem floats up and attaches onto the exposed holes the exacted shape the gems are on my gauntlets and hold in a sigh as i feel my full power coming back before looking at the crate and using my newly enhanced magic to open it from the inside revealing a rifle of some kind that Artemis clearly showed that he didn't know about.
"Obsidian may I ask but what is that?" Artemis asked in which laughed abit before telling him "this is the Multi shot rifle prototype or the M.S.R for short my friend ive been developing this for afew years and now comes it use" I start walking back outside to see what the equestrians have done while i was opening my new toy.
I look out to no mans land and see that the equestrians had bring in there siege weapons from catapults to Batista's and what looked like some type of cannon with unicorns manning it making me guess this was there new magic launchers, I stand at the edge of the wall and look behind me seeing the determined soldiers ready for battle.
"Soldiers I know you want to charge out there and fight the equestrians but i must ask you to leave and join the evacuation guard, I will handle there forces but there leaders will kill you near instantly I ask of you to continue to live and protect those who cannot" The soldiers looked at me in shocked some even gasping before Artemis calls to everyone.
"You heard our king we must protect the civilians at all costs" They stand there for afew seconds before leaving to join the rest of the guard but I stop Artemis "Artemis wait I must give you something" he stops and looks at me puzzled " my friend when you see three different colored lights over the city push this button" I hand him a remote with a single button on it.
He stands there for a couple seconds before answering " I will my lord" He rushes off to join the rest as I turn back to the enemy letting some of my rage out melting the metal and concrete around me And let out a roar of pure rage.
I Crash into the ground and growl my green eyes easily been seeing my the equestrians before launches out of the dust cloud running as fast as I can and watch the bolts, rocks and magic missiles fly towards me but I aim my rifle at the rocks and fire at them shattering them.
I dash to the side as one of the bolts slams into the ground making me run faster trying to get to the artillery before they can target the remaining civilians, I fire a couple more times all hitting there mark taking out one of the launcher crews.
I see a line of earth ponies gather into multiple lines making a layered wall that they hoped would stop me,oh how wrong they were as I put my rifle on my back and pull out my Great axe and shield and ramming into the first line easily breaking through with my superior strength and start slicing,stabbing, cutting, cleaving and decapitating with my axe, shield and tendrils.
They tried to land a blow on me with only one succeeding by hitting me in the foot but doing nothing to me in the long run before stomping on his skull before i let out a shock-wave of pure rage as they started doggy pile me burning them all alive before making my tendrils start spinning rapidly making a humming sound as Pegasi try dive bombing me but get turned into a bloody mist.
I gather up my rage and magic before fusing them together making massive beams of pure magic and rage shoot out of my hands and aim it at the artillery immediately destroying them before pointing it at the pegasi still alive and leaving nothing but dust.
I was about to point it at the rest of the ponies before im blasted with a powerful blast of magic by the night princess luna and the bucked by celestia in the gut knocking the wind out of me and sending my halfway into no mans land before I dig the sharp point at the bottom of my shield into the ground slowing me down enough for me to make a proper block of the battle axe sent my way.
I rip my shield out of the ground and block celestia's strike before retaliating with a shield ram dazing her for afew seconds but that was all i needed as I swung my great axe ready to find a home in celestia's neck but is stopped by luna's axe.
"Why did You do this" I say with my voice having a slight echo and sounding deeper, They simply let out battlecrys and charge me but I am ready and morph my tendrils back into wings and take flight heading straight for the middle of the city with them close behind.
I stop right at the center as gather all the magic I have and my rage making what I plan to do even more powerful, They alicorn sisters then bring out something that made me even angrier, the weapon they used to destroy my cites and people, MY FAMILIES SOUL GEMS.
'Your tyranny ends here beast for we shall smight thee from this earth" the sisters say in unison but I grin knowing this is our final battle I let out a roar of challenge and fire the beam of magic and rage while the sisters used my families gems to fire a enhanced petrifaction spell.
Our spells met and they tried to fight over dominance, I struggle as does the sisters as we are both massively powerful beings, I hear the alarm of the capitals main source of power's door is opened and start laughing causing the sisters to look at me in confusion as we continue to try and overtake the other.
I start using half the original power and starts powering up my own magic missile to fire at the Giant crystal that powered the city and acted like a nuclear bomb when explode,The sisters spell starts overtaking my beam but before it touchs me I launch the missile strait at the crystal causing a massive explosion.
I quickly cut the beam and try to make a magic shield strong enough to hold the blast but I feel my arm going numb before being thrown away in a random direction and only seconds later my vision goes dark as I watch my once great capital be swallowed by the resulting explosion.
