From The Heart / Applejack X Rarity“I know I ate more beauty products, than I care to admit.” Applejack poked her muzzle into Rarity's private work studio gently, spotting her lovely marshmallow curled up in the corner pouting in silence. “But you have to forgive me! It wasn't mah’ fault they were so delicious!” The copper mare nudged the door open slowly with her muzzle, walking inside with a warm smile. “Hmph, I don't have to do anything!” Rarity flung her tiny snoot in the air with a pout. “I'm very sorry. That's why I've gone and replaced everything!” AJ gave a soft squee, spinning around as she lifted up a large basket of gifts in her hooves. Rarity blushed a bright pink her eyes sparkling like stars in the heavens, gaze falling upon the large wicker frame as her sturdy mare trotted over proudly. Applejack wasting no time in pulling out the gifts for the love of her life, Rarity clapping her hooves together in excitement. “Oh, you are absolutely…” Rarity gazed down to a common plastic jar of honey in AJ’s hooves, her eyes widening in slight shock. “Daww, you're worth it my gem!” AJ held out the jar of honey to Rarity who politely accepted. “I…” She stumbled over her words. “It was on sale too, 40% more in that jar for five bits!” The copper mare proudly spoke, puffing her chest floof outward. AJ reached down as she picked up a huge jug of Mane N’ Tail hair treatment, it was at least sixty ounces and came with a sponge strapped to the side. “Whoo-betty! This here beast was twenty bits, but the sales pony guarantees it'll keep you clean as a whistle!” The farm mare patted the top of the bottle softly as she held back a giggle. “Oh, Applejack…” Rarity gave a tiny smile. “On the bright side, I won't accidentally drink this one.” AJ gave a soft snort before pulling out a large plate of apple slices. “Couldn't find them regeneratin’ cucumbers, so I sliced a few of mah’ best apples instead!” She held out the plate with pride, her green eyes glowing with a job well done as Rarity simply giggled. Tears forming in her eyes as she took the plate and placed it down upon her worktable, leaning in close to her special somepony their muzzles nuzzling together softly. The snow white unicorn feeling as if she were floating on air, never had she been given such lovely gifts from the heart. “You're the sweetest thing!” Rarity pressed her lips against AJ’s locking into a full passionate kiss, both melting into each other's embrace as the world stood still. The copper mare giving a delicate sigh wrapping her hooves around her lovely partner, both soon lowering to the piles of soft silk and lace upon the floor enjoying the pleasure of company and the warmth of friendship. Though these gifts were simple, they never had Rarity feel more beautiful. Author's Note Based off this picture by White Diamond.
3. Bubbles / Yona X SandbarView OnlineA Thousand Fluffs3. Bubbles / Yona X Sandbar“Yak, loves bubbles!” Yona chirped joyously from within her warm cozy shower in the girl's locker room inside the dorms. The room shaking slightly as the adorable creature seemed to pounce and sway in place from inside the steam filled shower. Smolder yawning as she entered the exceedingly warm room, enjoying the moist spray of mist against her dry scales. “Enjoying a soak, Yona!?” Smolder giggled giving a large stretch in place, extending her wings with a lazy yawn. “Yona, loves you!” The yak replied with a near oblivious giggle. Smolder scrunched her nose a bit in confusion, raising a thin brow towards the shower with a curious glance. The melodic giggles of the yak filling the room with a sense of innocent excitement. “Excuse me?” The dragoness replied though her voice was drowned out by the wild spray of the steamy shower. “Yona, loves hooves running through Yona’s mane!” The yak squealed in utmost delight of a certain caress, Smolder feeling her eyes widen in shock as her jaw dropped slightly in place. “Yona, is there some creature in there!?” Smolder spoke in a surprised tone a sly grin crossing her lips as she rushed over to the curtain. Using a sharp claw she pulled the thin fabric back to reveal a severely soaked yak in the shower, her once matted coat and mane in wet shimmering waves that easily reached the floor similar to a wet mop. “Ahhh, dragon no see Yona in the nude!” The yak quickly crossed her hooves over her chest floof embarrassed. Smolder rolled her eyes sarcastically in place to her plump friend before her, a curious gaze searching the small stall for anything else yet found nothing. “Yona, we're always nude! It'd be more weird if you were wearing clothes in there.” Smolder spoke with a rude tone, her arms crossing over her chest in annoyance. Yona let her cheeks stop burning a bright red as she batted long dark lashes in agreement of the dragon's words. Her head tilting off to the side as this awkward moment seemed to be dragging on. “Huh, dragon right!? But why dragon spy on yak!?” Yona shook her wet mane slightly as the shower ran across her, splashing Smolder with a spray of hot water. “I heard you giggling!?” Smolder replied with a snort. “Yak, happy! Happy yak giggles!” Yona beamed a bright warm smile. “But you said, you love hooves running through your mane!?” Smolder narrowed her eyes towards the wet yak, Yona lifting her tiny hooves upward silently. “Yona, really... really loves her hooves.” Yona replied with a stone faced expression across her muzzle. Smolder locked eyes with the yak sternly, Yona never once blinking as both gazed a extremely awkward amount of time at each other. “Grr, whatever!” Smolder rolled her eyes, flashing a fanged sneer. The dragoness quickly rushing out of the room annoyed. “Is she gone?” Sandbar poked his head out from under the wet waves of Yona's coat, nearly engulfed in a sea of soft brown hair. “Dragon flew off mad, angry that Yona tricked her prying eyes!” Yona giggled triumphantly with a wiggle of her backside proudly. Sandbar smirked as he crawled out from underneath his dream yak with a gentle chuckle, lifting his hooves to grab a large bottle of bubble shampoo off the wall. With a wink he twirled it on his hoof playfully. “So ready for that lathering massage?” The stallion asked as Yona blushed cuddling up against her very special pony with sparkling green eyes. “Yes, Yona just loves bubbles!” Yona gave a squee her muzzle meeting his own tenderly, both creatures lost in a lavender scented dream. Sediments Make Me Sentimental / Maud Pie Family FluffView OnlineA Thousand FluffsSediments Make Me Sentimental / Maud Pie Family FluffMaud pushed the door of the hotel open with a delicate nudge of the snout, her dull violet mane neatly brushed into place with not a hair askew, even as her hooves dripped with fresh mud. Wearing her usual outfit that was both comfortable yet familiar, lastly a large beige saddle bag was slumped over the tiny mare’s backside. Large pale blue eyes never broke focus from her gaze behind the cozy wooden desk, a sweet yellow earth pony quickly shuffling out from the back office to greet her. Her mane a curly orange hue, eyes a lime green full of genuine goodwill towards weary traveling ponies. “Welcome to The Cozy Stables, how may I help you ma'am!?” The mare flashed a beaming smile towards her monotone guest. “I'd like a room for the night, preferably one on ground level.” Maud spoke in a calm collected tone of voice, long lashes batting in place slowly. “Are you sure? We have a suite open on floor three, with a breathtaking view of the valley!” The mare giggled in place grabbing a few papers for the mare to sign. “A suite isn't necessary, I don't mind being down to earth.” Maud swiftly stamped her tiny hoof print onto the sign in sheet. “Very well, allow me to escort you to your room.” The mare happily slid the paperwork into a nearby cabinet. The pony skipped out from behind her desk with a chipper smile, politely asking if she may carry Maud's saddlebag to the room for her. Maud giving a knowing nod before slipping off her luggage, the hotel mare flinging it over her backside with a sudden look of surprise. The yellow pony feeling her knees buckle as a massive pressure was suddenly placed onto her lower back, she felt as if a boulder had been thrown onto her body from a massive mountain. “Oh dear, what's in here rocks!?” The yellow mare tried to play it off in a joking manner, taking a few wobbling steps forward with frightful eyes. “Yes.” Maud spoke with a dead serious gaze. “But why?” The mare knew she had made quite the mistake, unable to understand how such a tiny pony like Maud had hauled this behemoth around at all. “They're my sentimental sediments.” Maud gently followed her hostess down to a humongous stretch of hallway. “Sentimental what!?” She gasped taking each step slower than the last, the hallway feeling a thousand miles long. “Sediments. They're the weight of the love, I feel for my family.” Maud delicately unzipped the side of the left saddlebag, removing a tiny little pebble from within. “This here is Boulder, he's magnesium-rich basalt over two thousand years old.” Maud spoke in a monotone voice, the tiny pebble held high in her hoof. “I was given him on a dark stormy night, my parents suggested he would protect me from unsavory individuals and possible malicious intentions.” Maud explained in a deadpan tone. “Uhh, did it work?” The yellow mare slumped against the wall to take a breather. “Though he is cherished, I found no evidence of Boulder having paranormal nor metaphysical attributes.” Maud gently slid her pebble into a hidden pocket on her dress. “So no?” The hotel pony scrunched her muzzle. “Indeed, though the prayers of safety from my parents warms my heart.” Maud replied her face never once showing any emotion. “That's sweet I suppose.” The mare trembled in place, scooting along down the hall at a snail's pace. Maud gave a soft bat of her lashes, opening the right saddlebag pocket the petite grey mare removed a large limestone slab with utmost ease. “Limestone is a hard sedimentary rock, composed mainly of calcium carbonate or dolomite, used as building material.” Maud flung the slab onto her backside balancing it with ease. “Uhhh.” The yellow pony was unsure what to say, though grateful for the large release in weight upon her body. “This slab was given by my sister of the same name, much like her namesake she is the building material that keeps the foundation of our family strong.” Maud spoke with a true voice of indifference. “It was my sister who has placed aside her own dreams, so that we may achieve our own. I carry around her gift as a tribute to the weight of the world, she carries upon her shoulders everyday.” Maud gave a slight glance down to the floor in silence. “She sounds wonderful.” The mare gave a warming smile, her guest reaching deep into the left saddlebag once more. Removing a midsized round chunk of Marble, the mare released a soft yelp of surprise in return the bag nearly as light as a feather now. “Marble is a metamorphic rock composed of recrystallized carbonate minerals, most commonly calcite or dolomite. Marble is typically not foliated, although there are exceptions.” Maud gave the chunk a gentle embrace, quickly rolling it onto her back with no sign of discomfort. “Another sister dear?” The hostess of the hotel watched the tiny grey mare nod in agreement, her eyes full of a hidden pride for each member of her family. “Marble, she has a tendency for growing stronger under pressure. She's timeless much like her namesake full of elegance and strength. Though not fond of being in the spotlight, she's the beauty shining within our lives.” Maud suddenly stopped in place. The hostess batted long lashes confused before taking note that they had arrived at their destination, both ponies standing in front of the door in a calming silence. The mare sliding off the saddlebag with ease, watching with a tender smile as Maud placed her sediments back into their rightful places. “You truly love your family, don't you?” The yellow mare took note of a colorful rock candy necklace, draped around Maud’s neck softly as she packed. “Rock candy or sugar candy, also called rock sugar, is a type of confection composed of relatively large sugar crystals.” Maud simply lifted her eyes towards her new friend. “She must be sweet.” The mare giggled. “Pinkie is. She's the sweetest thing in my life, always full of a spectrum of various joyous emotions. Bringing forth a true vibrancy of colors to my life and for the simple act of sharing laughter, I'm grateful.” Maud tucked the necklace away safely. “Thank you for the conversation, I do hope you enjoy the stay!” The mare flashed a polite smile towards this unique pony. “I will, after all my family is with me.” Maud returned a barely visible smile. Sediments always made her feel sentimental.
Weekend Warrior / Spitfire FluffView OnlineA Thousand FluffsWeekend Warrior / Spitfire FluffSpitfire stamped her tiny yellow hoof atop the crisp white surface of The Wonderbolts status report projections of the next decade, number four thousand and fifty- two. All week neigh all month had been this exercise in insanity, charged by her superiors to crunch the numbers in projection costs for the Training Academy among other things. A report she sorely despised with every fiber in her body, though it had to be done swiftly. She might have not been a fan of mathematical predictions, but the joy of training new pegasi in the coming years filled her soul with pride. Her dark orange eyes scanned the monotone colors of grey and black engulfing her tiny cramped office with a stern expression, the sound of the clock upon the wall clicking louder than the bells of Neightre Dame. Click. Her unblinking gaze shifted to the mountain of paperwork on her desk, awaiting her attention after the weekend has faded into the sands of time for all eternity. Click. Her wings spread outward from her backside, unfurling in a impressive wingspan covered in fine elegant golden feathers of an expert flyer. Click. Spitfire took a deep breath inward the sound of the working world fading away into the heavens, gone the sounds of hoof on paper, screams of new recruits and the stampede of hooves in search of destinations. Replaced with the chirping of birds among the skyline, the gentle melody of the winds upon the clouds and the ever sweet scent of nature wafting across the world below. Ding! The clock struck five o’clock on the wall with a sharp thunderous toll, a wave of vibrant colors exploding across the office in a shockwave of beauty. Spitfire kicked her desk with her hooves, rolling chair flying backwards at top speed before it tilted backwards. The golden pegasus being thrown out the open rose colored window behind her, slender body twirling in a blur of golden spins as she plummeted through the soft cool clouds of Cloudsdale and vanishing from sight. In a explosion of confidence Spitfire lifted out from the cotton paradise of the sky, flapping her wings powerfully as she spun a few clouds in place. Darting off into the horizon with a sly smirk across her tiny muzzle, the warm orange glow of the setting sun on her wings and the melody of the weekend in her heart. Zooming past a mother pegasus and her filly sitting upon a large cloud, the child had a look of nervous excitement locked upon her face. Pink coat frazzled out in uncertainty as tiny wings began to flutter in place trying to lift herself off the cloud. With her mother keeping a watchful gaze, the filly took her first plunge off into the sky pale turquoise eyes shutting in gleeful terror. Falling only a few feet below the filly opened her eyes to see Spitfire holding her upon her hoof smiling sweetly, the child lifting both hooves in front of her muzzle bursting into a fit of giggles. Watching the older mare calmly beating her wings to the rhythm of the world below, the tiny pegasi matched her wing movements motion for motion in deep concentration. Soon lifting off the officer's hoof and fluttering in the air with a loud squeal of delight. The mother clapped her hooves together proudly upon her cloud with tears rolling down her cheeks, Spitfire nodding in approval before flying off on her way, not before giving the child a hug of congratulations. The air was crisp and clean, hues of orange, greens and reds filling the landscape below her, much like a hoof crafted painting. Her worries floating off her shoulders with utmost ease, her slender frame swooping down towards an upcoming lake full of ponies enjoying the summer weather. The mares waving friendly greetings towards her in the sky as the stallions struggled to shift a homemade raft off of shore. Spitfire giggled as she plummeted near the cool blue surface of the water, giving a mighty billow of her golden wings as a cooling wave of mist bathed over the group. The golden pegasus wasting no time in grabbing the raft rope in her mouth, giving a firm tug as it began to drift out to the middle of the lake. The stallions giving thankful replies the mare flashing only a wink, dashing over to their open cooler of fresh ice and sodas. Swiping a cherry soda before escaping into the horizon happily, her heart swelling with excitement as thoughts of the weekend flooded her mind. Spotting her cloud off in the distance miles away from anypony in particular, rested cozily below the warming sun and begging to be slept on. Spitfire flew over to its cotton like embrace, nestling in upon the surface much like a feline upon a silken pillow. Her hoof popping the top off the cherry treat in her grasp, leaning back she took a soft inhale of air deep into her lungs. The sweet scent of cherries tickling her muzzle, as glowing hues locked upon the setting sun in the distance. She lifted her drink to her lips taking a deep swig from within. At this moment, it was the sweetest thing she had ever tasted.

Nopony really wants to be my taste tester anymore, no idea why?” Sweetie lifted a tiny vanilla hoof over her muzzle giggling delicately, cantering with a swish in her tail into the kitchen. “Free food!? Who could refuse that!” The tiny colt puffed his chest outward proudly, gazing around the living room spotting a family photo on the wall. Smirking he noticed how cute Sweetie looked in her Hearth's Warming photo, smiling with the light of the sun while she wore a green sweater and adorkable pair of reindeer antlers. “Aww, you're sweet as sugar!” Sweetie gave a bright pink blush as her tiny hooves plucked a squeezable frosting canister off the counter, slowly beginning to decorate chocolate cupcakes on the kitchen table. “Well spending time with you, is also a huge plus.” Button sheepishly smiled rubbing the back of his head in embarrassment. “Heehee, I'm just Sweetie Belle.” The tiny filly cooed as she glanced down to the plate of now rainbow colored cupcakes in satisfaction. “That's more than enough.” Button had his own melted chocolate gaze locked on Sweetie, his heart racing in his chest wildly her beauty beyond words. “What did you say?” Sweetie lifted the plate off the table in a playful glow of lime green magic, raising a thin brow over to the colt. “Uh, I said! That cooking must be rough!” Button flashed a worried smile to his dream pony, trying to rush over to help her only to trip over his hooves and fall to the floor with a dull thud. Sweetie giggled cheerfully as she lifted the largest cupcake of the bunch off the plate, elegantly floating the treat down to her friend with a squee. “Looks delicious!” Button took hold of the treat overflowing with frosting, simply stuffing the whole thing in his mouth chewing happily. “Awww, I made it with real rainbows!” Sweetie leaned down nuzzling her muzzle against Button’s cheek softly, just as the colt swallowed his mouthful blushing. “Mmm, I can taste that!” Button felt his belly instantly starting to boil as if dunked in lava. “Ponies say that artificial rainbows are just as good…” Sweetie turned away with a dainty flaunt of her hoof, Button flinging upward as his face turned a dark shade of crimson. “Mm-hmm!” He quivered in place with wobbling hooves, his body turning to liquid fire as he felt that he might combust at any second. “But I say nope! It's the real thing or nothing!” Sweetie gave a tiny hmph. “Wish it was nothing...blarghhh!” Button whispered under his breath belching a large wave of flames into the open fireplace. “Did you say something?” Sweetie turned to the colt beside the now lit fireplace glowing brightly. Button could just nod no as his body was drenched in sweat, his eyes a bright red hue that showed only the look of true agony. The filly cantering over with a giggle, tracing her silken hoof over his own. “How was it!?” She squealed. “Fan...tas...tic…” Button spoke with a strained tone of voice as waves of drool poured out of the sides of his mouth, muzzle scrunched up beyond its limit in an odd look of horror. “That's so nice!” Sweetie wrapped her hooves around the colt, squeezing him extra tight in an embrace he could only dream of. “Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr….” The loud sound of gas escaping suddenly filled the room. “...” Sweetie pulled back blushing. “Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr…” It continued with a foul stench of eggs wrapped in curled milk. “...” Sweetie gagged softly, tiny hooves covering her muzzle. “Rrrrrrrrr...rrrrrr...rrrrrrrrr…” Button could feel a single tear rolling down his cheek. “...” Sweetie folded both ears down in absolute horror, her body aflame with the most nightmarish of scents assaulting her senses. “Rrrrrrrrrt!” The sound came to a stop as Button sighed in a broken manner. “Did you fart?” Sweetie fought to hold back her lunch from escaping. “I might have done, something far worse.” Button winced in pain his rump burning as if he sat on freshly stoked coals. “I need to go.” Sweetie slowly turned away heading out her front door in complete silence, Button taking a deep breath before he began to collect the shards of his dignity off the floor. Among other things.

1. Beauty Snack / Applejack X RarityView OnlineA Thousand Fluffs1. Beauty Snack / Applejack X Rarity“Darling, have you seen my Bumblebear Honey face mask?” Rarity cantered delicately into her bedroom where Applejack sat upon her bed, long blonde mane lazily in a casual ponytail. Her dark green eyes gazing to Rarity with a sense of humor, her lips curling into a simple playful smile towards the one mare in her life who always seemed to misplace something, one way or another. She found it adorable, one of the many reasons she loved her. “Can't say I have sugarcube!” AJ giggled her hoof plucking a fresh slice of cucumber off a dainty white dinner plate sat at her side. Rarity frowned a bit towards her uncouth special somepony, her silken violet tresses pulled tightly in no more than a dozen hair curlers. Her tiny frame snuggled up in a fluffy pink bathrobe as she was just about ready for her daily beauty regimen. “I had placed it on the kitchen table love, it was in a absolutely fabulous pink crystalline jar.” Rarity sighed as ocean blue eyes quickly scanned the room for her expensive beauty honey, AJ suddenly folding her ears back firmly. “I think, I might have ate it…” The copper mare blushed a dark red hue across her cheeks. “You ate my beauty supply!?” Rarity lifted a dainty hoof in complete shock and awe, her girlfriend shrugging sheepishly. “I thought it was regular honey, I made a sandwich with it!” AJ scrunched her nose as Rarity let out a loud sigh of annoyance from her muzzle. “A sandwich!? With Royal Bumblebear honey!?” Rarity pursed her lower lip cutely into a large pout. “Sorry hon.” AJ gazed down in shame, slowly munching on another cucumber slice. “Well I suppose, I still have my wheat grass hair treatment.” The unicorn gave a deflated huff sweetly. “A curvy bottle of green liquid?” AJ coughed into her hoof blushing ever darker. “You didn't drink it!?” Rarity felt her jaw nearly hit the floor in horror. “The honey was too sweet and I was ever so thirsty!” AJ shook her head in shame of herself. “It had soap in it!?” Rarity scrunched her muzzle utterly confused. “It was downright delicious!” AJ groaned with a loud sigh of defeat, stuffing the last few cucumber slices in her mouth chewing cutely. “Those were my imported Rejuvenating Cucumbers, weren't they?” Rarity felt her eyes burning into the copper mare on her bed in boiling rage. “I'm hoping no, but fearing yes.” AJ slowly licked her lips in a awkward silence. Rarity felt her ears twitching and heart race deep inside her chest, hooves growing numb with a silent anger while a sharp snort of steam escaped her nostrils quickly. The apple horse gulping slowly in fear, mind begging her to run yet body unable to budge. Rarity suddenly letting out a loud feminine squeal in anger, lunging at her special somepony on the bed in a surge of annoyed anger. The earth pony yelping in fear being tackled, she had heard about playing rough in the bedroom. But very well doubted, this is what they meant. Author's Note Based off this picture by White Diamond.
