Broken Friendship

Twilight Sparkle couldn’t believe it. Her friends, Shining Armor, Spike and her mentor left and ignored her warnings. She felt awful for acting like a filly with jealousy. Tears began to come out of her eyes. She went to the door to open to leave the room, she just hoped the guards hadn’t locked it. And to her happiness, they didn’t lock. As she left the room, she closed the door and ran off to a pony she had recently made friends with and she believed she could help her.

Luna stared at her telescope and saw a lavender unicorn running up to her tower. She realized it was her friend, Twilight Sparkle. She wondered why Twilight Sparkle wasn’t inside the castle. She then realized that had tears in her friend’s eyes. She wondered why her friend was crying and who made her cry. She heard a sound in the door, “you can come in.”

The door opened, revealing Twilight Sparkle. She had red eyes from crying, “Twilight, what happened?”

In response, Twilight Sparkle embraced Luna, “oh, Luna. Glad you’re here!”

Luna was surprised, but soon she replied, “Yes, I’m here. What happened? Why were you crying?”

Twilight Sparkle looked at Luna, “Do you have a bed in this tower?”

“Yes, I do. Why?” replied Luna curiously.

“Let’s sit on your bed. It’ll be a long story,” said Twilight Sparkle.

Twilight Sparkle and Luna sat on the bed. Twilight Sparkle started to tell everything. When her friends were having a picnic until they received a letter from Celestia saying Shining Armor and Princess Mi Amore Candeza would marrie; when she saw Cadence and Candence didn’t act like before when she was a filly; Cadence began to act rude and unlike normal and when she arrived at rehearsal and she said that Cadence was evil; causing Shining Armor, her friends, Spike and her mentor to abandon her. When she finished, she returned to hug her best friend, “you believe me, right?”

Luna can’t feel anything but confused by Cadence’s behavior, sorrow of Twilight Sparkle and anger of Shinning Armor, Twilight’s friends Sparkle, Spike and especially her sister Celestia, “I believe in you, Twilight. Cadence’s acting strange”

Twilight Sparkle looked at Luna, still with tears in her eyes, “really? Oh. Thank you, Luna! You’re the best princess!” she hugged Luna with her front hooves.

Luna was confused, “I thought Celestia was your favorite princess”

Twilight Sparkle looked at Luna, “she’s like my mentor, or rather she was”

Luna became even more confused, “what do you mean? You don’t want to be my sister’s student anymore?”

“I don’t want to be a student of her and I don’t want to see her anymore, neither my friends nor my brother, nor Spike“, replied Twilight Sparkle.

“If this Cadence is not the real one, where would the real Cadence be?” asked Luna.

“I don’t know. I just know I’m going to try to find out where she would be with my magic“, replied Twilight Sparkle.

“Would you like me to help you?” offerd Luna with a smile.

Twilight Sparkle thought. She would like to, but she knew Luna had duties to fulfill, “Better not, Luna. You have a duty at the moment to protect Canterlot "

“Okay, Twilight. If you need help, just call me“, replied Luna.

Twilight Sparkle left the tower. And she used a location spell, she started walking, started making “pi”, saying that Candace was close. And it was coming from under the ground, Candace is under the ground. But how did she get in?

“What are you doing there?” asked a voice behind Twilight Sparkle.

Twilight Sparkle looked at Candace, “n-nothing, Cadence”, she smiled.

But, she didn’t believe, “tell me! You filly!“ commanded Candace.

Twilight Sparkle had an idea, “I will not talk. Puts me in The underground. I don’t care“, she challenged.

Cadence smirked, “Great idea,” she used her magic and set fire to Twilight Sparkle and made the fire turn a shield to push Twilight Sparkle into the undergroad. She left the place with a smile.

Twilight Sparkle realized she was in a mine. She used the location spell and noticed that the signal was high. She stopped on a wall of crystals, and the signal was behind this wall. She used her magic to destroy the wall and saw Cadence. The mane was all messed up, “Cadence!” exclaimed Twilight Sparkle cheerfully.

Candence smiled and hugged her, “Twilight, how did you stop here?”

“I came to rescue you,” replied Twilight Sparkle. “Come on, we’ve gotta find a way out of here.”

Twilight Sparkle looked at Cadance, “Candace, are you able to use a teleportation spell?”

“Yes”, answered Candace.

“Come on”, said Twilight Sparkle determined.

Cadence was in a wedding dress, looking at Shinning Armor, while Celestia said, “and I declare ...” but her speech had been interrupted by Twilight Sparkle.

“Stop everything!” exclaimed Twilight Sparkle.

“You again? Why do you want to ruin my special day?“ she cried.

“Because it’s not your special day! It’s mine!“ exclaimed Cadence beside Twilight Sparkle.

“Two Cadences? How is this possible?“ asked Applejack confused.

“She’s a Changeling. She takes the form of the one you love and feeds on your love for him!“ explained Cadence.

Candence in a wedding dress shone green eyes and turned into her true form, Queen Chrysalis. Queen Chrysalis laughed, “You’re right. As Queen of the Changelings it is my duty to seek love for my subordinates. And Equestria has more love where I’ve never met! Every moment I feed on Shining Armor’s love, he becomes weak. So, like his spell to protect Canterlot!”

“Not my Shinning Armor!”

“And then I and my Changelings will dominate all Equestria!” exclaimed Queen Chrysalis.

“No,” said Celestia. “You aren’t going”

“You may have taken the love of Shining Armor, but you will not take Equestria,” said Celestia before going to Chrysalis. “I will protect my subjects!”

Celestia used her magic to attack Chrysalis. But, Chrysalis used her magic and began to use her magic. For a moment, Celestia almost won, but as Chrysalis was very strong, she ended up winning. Celestia fell to the floor. Everypony was shocked, except Twilight Sparkle. I was already waiting. They didn't listen to me ...

Twilight Sparkle’s friends went to Celestia. Twilight Sparkle just stared. She can do nothing, but think that everypony, except Luna was incompetent for not to listen. Twilight Sparkle's friends went out to pick up Elements of Harmony, “Twilight, come on!” exclaimed Applejack.

“No”, said Twilight Sparkle.

Applejack was surprised, “but, why Twilight? Equestria is in danger!”

“Go you guys! I will not!” exclaimed Twilight Sparkle as she turned her face away.

The friends found Twilight Sparkle’s behavior strange, but they began to run to pick up the elements.

They will not, tought Twilight Sparkle, knowing her friends would fail.

And what Twilight Sparkle thought happened, her friends returned without the Elements of Harmony. Twilight Sparkle can’t think of anything, besides that the fault of all happened was of its friends and Celestia.

“I must admit, I found the behavior of Twilight Sparkle interesting”, smiled Chrysalis.

“And I will not blame her. She was the only one who noticed that I was not the real Candace. She knew that the real Cadence would behave with kindness and be positive with the preparations, especially at her own wedding.” Chrysalis put a hull on Twilight Sparkle’s chin, but the unicorn removed the hull from her chin. “Unlike you all, Twilight's so-called friends, who were very busy planning the marriage”

Applejack went to Twilight Sparkle, “sorry, Twilight. We should have listened to you”

Twilight Sparkle looked moody at Applejack, “well, I hope you’re happy. Because at least now you have learned that you should listen to others, even if it sounds absurd!”

“I doubt it very much”, said Chrysalis as she went to a window and began to sing that her day was perfect and that she was able to perform.

Twilight Sparkle went to Candace, who was in prison. She took away the goo that held Cadence on the floor, “Quick, before she notices”, whispered Twilight Sparkle.

Candence went to Shining Armor, who was still under the spell of Chrysalis. Candace hugged as her magic made a heart. The heart burst into Shinning Armor’s face, “w-what happened?”

“I see that love has awakened you from my spell”, said Chrysalis.

“The spell,” whispered Twilight Sparkle to Cadence. “Use the spell”

Chrysalis laughed. Shinning Armor tried to use a spell to stop Chrysalis, “I don’t think I can”

“My love will give you strength”, said Cadence.

“A lovely feeling, but completely ridiculous”, said Chrysalis, now at a window.

Shining Armor tried to use his magic, Cadence placed her horn next to Shining Armor's. They began to glow and float in the air. Chrysalis stared at the startled light. Suddenly, an explosion came up to Chrysalis and pushed her and all the Changelings of Canterlot. Celestia rose from the floor, and noticed that her student didn’t help her. She thought it strange, “Twilight”

When Twilight Sparkle heard the voice of her ex-mentor, She felt angry, “What do you want?”

“Why didn’t you come help me?” asked Celestia.

“Simple,” Twilight Sparkle went to Celestia angrily. “It’s because I’m not your student anymore!”

Everypony, but Twilight Sparkle sighed in surprise. Did they hear it right? Twilight Sparkle was joking, right?

“What? Where did you come up with that idea?“ asked Celestia confused.

“You don’t remember? You told me that I had a lot to think about. And that’s what I decided. I don’t want to be your student anymore!”

Twilight Sparkle ran off. Everypony was surprised what Twilight Sparkle said. They understood that they were guilty of Twilight Sparkle being in that state. They would have to apologize.
