When they opened it, it was from someone who named themselves T. "Better stop looking who did that or someone you care about is next. -T" "So it is Trixie!" Pinkie concluded. "But why would she make her own dissappearance?" Applejack was cofused. "She was always the one who loved to make a show" Rainbow explained. "But there has to be something more," Twilight didn't agree. "Something we are missing here." "Nope. Pretty sure it is her." Rainbow was sure. "Wouldn't that be too obvious?" Sunset also doubted. "Why would she sign herself with her letter then?" "I don't know," Rarity said. "I am kinda scared because of this threat. Maybe we should just stop and let the police finish it?" "But you will still be their suspect" Applejack added. "And if we tell them about hats Sweetie Belle will be included too. If this really is Trixie then she can not really do much, right?" "We do not know for sure that it is Trixie." "What should we do then?" Applejack asked. "I have an idea. Let's break into office's in school and look at the cameras!" Sunset suggested. "No way! We can't break into it!" Twilight was being reasonable. "Oh come on!" Rainbow complained. "It is the best way to find out what exactly happened!" "Even if we did, we would get caught!" "Then let's do it at night! No one will be in school then." Fluttershy gulped. "At night? In a school where someone was kidnapped in the middle of the day?" "Don't worry, dear, all of us will be there, too!" Rarity tried to calm her down. Twilight sighed. "Fine, when will we do it?" Later, during night "Oh, I have a bad feeling about this!" Fluttershy said. "Tell me about it!" Twilight replied. "I am scared we will get caught." "Oh come on!" Rainbow interrupted. "You will just delete the footage when we are here. No worries." "No worries for you maybe" Fluttershy was scared. "This place is super scary at dark." "You got that right!" Applejack was looking around scared with her flashlight. Rainbow looked at her. "Are you scared, Aj?" "What? Me? Huh, pft, nooo! Why would I... be...scared?" Applejack was embarrased. "It is normal to be scared, you don't have to be embarrassed of it." Rainbow Dash took her hand. "Does that help?" Rainbow casually asked. "Uh, yes. Thanks." Applejack smiled at her and she nodded and gave small smile back. Seeing Applejack didn't listen to her advice about staying away from jocks, Twilight facepalmed. The girls entered the office. "Alright, let me just check the cameras" Twilight said. The girls gathered around Twilight. "Guys?" Twilight was terrified. "Someone is here! They are coming to office!" "Quick! Turn it off! Everyone hide!" Rainbow said. "I can't turn it off that fast, they are just around the corner!" "WHAT?!" Applejack was in panic. Suddenly a mysterious figure appeared. All the girls jumped on him. "Ah!" the person screamed. Twilight turned the lights on. "Professor Discord?!" everyone was shocked. "Who?" Applejack did not recognize him. "Ouch!" Discord said. "Phew!" everyone was relieved. "Why? What is all of this?" Discord was confused. "Heh, we just thought you were a crazy kidnapper" Rainbow explained. "Yall do know he could still be a kidnapper?" Applejack was still confused. "Nah, that's Discord!" Pinkie said. "Did you just call a teacher only by name?!" Twilight said. "That is okay, professor is too formal. I like it more when everyone calls me by name." "He is a super nice teacher who gets on really well with everyone." Fluttershy explained to Applejack. "I also heard he likes chaos in his classes." Twilight whispered. "I do like chaos." "And he heard me." "What do you teach? I am new here so I do not really know." "Pft, YOU are the new student? I thought it would be someone who looked more like a ner--- I teach phylosophy." "Well, back to the cameras!" Twilight said. "What are you all doing here anyway?" "We could be asking you the same question" Applejack replied. "This is my job. I have left my phone here so I came back for it." "And we are trying to solve a mystery of why Trixie is gone" Fluttershy explained. "Oh wow. Alright but if anyone asks I was not here and do not know anything." "Alright." everyone confirmed. "Please don't get caught!" he said while exiting. After a short while Twilight found the footage. There was a random person who covered their head with the hat, a scarf and was wearing a big brown coat. "They hid too well, we can't know who that is" Applejack said dissapointed. "Wait a bit now, darling" Rarity stopped her. "We could pay more attention to who owns that coat and scarf!" "But many people could have it." "True but they probably don't have both." "Great!" Rainbow Dash was sarcastic. "Our only lead is a bad quality photo of a scarf and a coat!" All the girls got a text from an unknown number. "I have told you to stay away. You are now responsible for what happens next. -T" "Seriously if this is Trixie I will personally push her" Rarity was angry. "I am scared." Fluttershy commented. "Who knows what that could even mean" Twilight said. "We need to be careful." Applejack replied. The girls successfully exited the school and deleted footage of them. "Now what?" Rainbow asked. "We head home and see what happens tomorrow?" Pinkie replied with a question. "What if one of us or somebody we love dissappears?" Applejack was worrying. "We need to be careful!" Sunset said. They all went their homes. The next morning. Applejack came to breakfast and was very relieved to see all of her family safe and well. "Morning!" she happily greeted them. "Oh, pancakes?" "Eyup!" "So how is it in your new school Applejack?" Granny asked. "Did you finally find some friends?" "Oh, it is great so far! And yes... I guess we are friends." Applejack smiled to herself at the thought of finally having real friends. "And did someone caught your eye?" Apple Bloom was curious. "What do ya mean?" "Oh, you know what I mean!" As she realized what Apple Bloom was asking she quickly replied, "yes! I mean no! I mean maybe!" "So someone did, I knew you are happier and up in the clouds!" "We have only known each other for 2 days, but I guess you can say someone did caught my eye." "Oh really? What's her name?" "I gotta go. Don't wanna be late for school!" "Of course you don't when there is an awesome somebody you will talk to today!" "See ya!" "Have fun!" Applejack came to the school bit earlier and saw her new friends around Rarity who was crying. "Hey, what happened? Rarity, are you okay?" "No." she was crying loudly. And Applejack was shocked as she then said, "Sweetie Belle is GONE!" //-------------------------------------------------------// Unusual Crew //-------------------------------------------------------// Unusual Crew "Good morning students!" sadly said the principal who was giving speech to her students. "I have a sad news today. Unfotunately, our school will have to close. We don't have enough money to keep it going and it was bought by a private company." "What?! Oh no!" students were shocked. "But don't worry, we will give you a list of other high schools you can transport to! Please everyone proceed to my office, I will call you one by one to fill the papers." There was a whole school in front of principal's office. Among them was Applejack. She was still shocked at the news and thought about where should she go now. "Applejack Apple please enter my office!" said the principal. Applejack got up and entered. "There are bunch of students waiting and we need to do this fast because we only have until tomorrow to transport all students and give them the school." "Alright." Applejack looked at the list and didn't know where to go. She saw a name Canterlot High. She remembered her distant cousin Pinkie Pie goes there and it's not that far away from home. "I'll go to Canterlot High." "Really? Are you sure? No one else will probably go there. There are much more popular schools." "I know but I would like to go there." "As you wish." All of this continued all through the day. The next day Applejack got up early. She didn't want to miss out on her first day at new school. She was feeling very nervous. She got there early too! She went to the principal Celestia's office. "Good morning!" she entered. "Oh, good morning! You must be Applejack, right?" "Yeah, Applejack Apple." "I am principal Celestia! We are very happy to welcome you here." Celestia introduced herself. "Class will soon start, here is your schedule." "Thank you." "I am very busy at the moment but let me introduce you, this is Twilight Sparkle, she will answer all your questions if you have any and show you around school." "Hello!" Twilight greeted her. "Hi!" "I am sorry, please excuse me now, I have to go." Celestia said. "And remember my doors are always open if you need me!" Applejack and Twilight were walking around school. "You are gonna love it here!" Twilight said. "In this school you'll gain a lot of knowledge that will be helpful later. And you will definetly have fun studying all of these." "Uh, right... I hope so." "You don't like studying?" "Not really." "Ah, that's okay. I guess not everyone wants to be a scientist and spends whole days learning, experimenting and reading." "Wow! As long as you have fun! What kind of science are you interested in the most?" "Oh, that's easy! Definetly chemistry! I simply love it!" "That's cool!" "What do you like to do in your free time?" "I usually spend time on my family's apple farm. Otherwise I love to hang out with people." "You must have plenty of friends." "Heh, not really, people in my last school were only interested in popularity." "Ah, I know how you feel. Most people here are too." Twilight sighed. "Only actual real friends I have are my dog Spike and my family." "Well, look on the bright side. We both gained a new friend today." "Yeah!" Twilight smiled happily. Twilight continued showing her around. "THEY ARE COMING!" someone yelled. "Who is coming?" Applejack was confused. "Oh no!" Twilight pulled her aside. "The jocks! Just turn around and don't look them in the eyes. Try not to ever get on their bad side." "Uh..." A group of people dressed all in the same jacket passed by. They looked cool but everyone feared them. In the bunch there was a rainbow haired girl. The just passed by and left in their direction. "Woah!" Applejack said. "Who was that rainbow haired girl?" "Uh, you mean Rainbow Dash? She is the team captain!" "She is gorgeous!" "She does seem to make many boys and girls fall for her although she is only interested in girls. But I think you should stay away from all of them, I heard rumors about them being bad news and changing who they date often and based on popularity. You'll only get your heart broken." "Only rumors?" "Well, no one knows for sure but better safe then sorry." Then continued walking. A pink haired girl passed near them. "Hey Twilight! Hi Applejack!" Pinkie said while being in a hurry. They both greeted her. "You already know Pinkie Pie?" "She is my cousin." "Oh! Wow that's really cool! She literally knows EVERYONE!" They were soon finished with touring the school. "Soon we will go to my favourite place!" "Cafeteria?" "No! Library!" "Oh..." "You'll like it there's plenty of books for everyone!" They reached the library. "And here is the library!" Twilight said happily but soon she started staring at a girl surfing the net. She had a red blondr hair. "Uh, Twilight?" "Yes? What? Yes? Were you saying something, I kindaa got distraced." Twilight blushed. "I think science chemistry is not the only chemistry you do." Applejack joked. "Oh no, I... we... uf..." "You have a crush on her?" "Is it that obvious?" "Yes. But that's so sweet. Did you tell her?" "What? Of course not! That's Sunset Shimmer the smartest and most caring girl EVER! She also truly has a smile of an angel!" "Aw, that's adorable! I hope she likes you back!" "MOVE! We need to pass by!" Trixie said. "Excuse me?" Applejack turned around. "Ugh, is that the new girl? She literally has no fashion taste!" Trixie noticed. "And you met the cheerleaders" Twilight sighed. "Oh come on, Trixie. It's nothing that can't be fixed." Rarity said. "Besides that farm girl look looks good on her!" "Thanks." "Ugh!" Trixie complained. "You're welcome, darling. Welcome to Canterlot High. I am Rarity, soon to be cheerleader captain." Rarity said as Applejack and her shaked hands. "Ugh! If you really think you'll buy popularity and spot as captain by being nice then you are wrong!" Trixie said. "I am just being myself. Besides, I don't think captain should be rude like you are!" "I am not rude, just teaching everyone their place!" "So that's how you call being rude in your language?" "Let's go." Twilight told Applejack. "We don't wanna stay in this fight. They are competing to be a captain so it's always like this." "Okay, let's go." Later they were heading to eat lunch. "Angel no!" Fluttershy yelled. "Everyone look out! Bunny on the lose!" "Bunny what?" Applejack turned as Angel jumped on her. "Ah!" "Don't worry he only bites if you're scared." "What?!" "Let me help take him off!" Twilight tried to help. "What's going on here?" Luna was angry. "All 3 of you detention!" "What? No? Please, it's all a misunderstanding!" Twilight said. "Yes, it wasn't their fault!" Fluttershy added. "I don't care who's fault it is. Bunnies are forbidden in school. All of you get detention. I am not in the mood today." Luna left. And Twilight started to panic. "Oh no, this will ruin my whole life!" "No it won't. I am sure you're a great student. It's just one detention." Applejack tried to reassure her. "Yeah, don't worry. It won't affect you." Fluttershy also tried to help. "That's what they always lie about!" Later that day Applejack, Fluttershy and Twilight entered library where detention was held. Few minutes after Rarity and Pinkie came in too. "How did you two end up here?" Applejack was suprised. "Oh, don't even ask. Trixie and me got into another fight." "And I handed them pies so they can solve it as they do in my family!" Pinkie shruged. Sunset entered the room too. "Hi everyone!" "You ended up here too?" Pinkie was shocked. "I thought you don't cause trouble anymore." "I don't. It was an accident." "If you say so." "Perfect! Now you all need to be here for an hour. Do whatever but you aren't allowed to go out of this library!" Luna said. "Ugh, where is Rainbow Dash?" "Yo!" Rainbow entered the room. "Sorry I'm late Luna!" "Call me Luna once again and you'll get another detention!" "Wow chill. No need for anger." "Anyway, one whole hour here. The librarian will keep an eye on you." Luna said as she left the library. Librarian sat on the chair. "My life is ruined!" Twilight was still in panic. "Oh relax!" Rainbow said. "This is my fifth time being in detention in last 2 weeks. It isn't that bad!" "Easy for you to say!" They continued to sit in silence. Sunset continued to read a book she was reading earlier in the library, Rarity was reading a magazine, Twilight studying, and Pinkie and Fluttershy quietly talked. "Are you the new girl?" Rainbow asked. "Yeah. Name's Applejack!" "Nice to meet ya, Aj! I'm Rainbow! How do you like it around here so far? I see you have already gotten in trouble." Rainbow joked. "Are you really that bad?" "No, I don't usually cause trouble. This was a... bunny accident." "Too bad. If you ever want to change that you can join me in pranking others. I would love to spend time with you!" "Oh please no!" Rarity joined. "There are plenty of other ways to hang out! I don't need another person constantly pranking us. Especially if my hair and clothes have to suffer after!" "What? Blue hair was in fashion then!" Rainbow defended herself. "No, it was not!" "Oh well, all's good now." "No, it is not." "Uh, can you please not fight? You will distrub Angel." Fluttershy asked. "And I am trying to read." Sunset said. "Ugh, fine!" Rainbow said. Some time later librarian fell asleep. "FINALLY!" Rainbow was happy. "We are free to go now!" "What? No!" Twilight said. "You can't just leave!" "Suit yourself, I am going!" Suddenly a scream was heard. The girls went outside and saw everyone around a note on the wall. "It says they kidnapped Trixie!" random girl said. "And that one of us is next unless we give them something they called a magical stone!" "A magical stone? What could that be?" Applejack was confused and terrified. //-------------------------------------------------------// They wore a hat //-------------------------------------------------------// Author's Note I know many did not like last chapter but I am having fun writing this story and some people did like it so I am continuing this story :D They wore a hat "Alright move!" later the police arrived. "All of you will be asked questions, please stay away from the message and wait!" The girls went back to wait at the library. They saw a random brown hat on the floor. A hat Rarity remembered she designed and sold few people. The next day "Good morning students!" Celestia was talking to the school. "As you all know yesterday a horrible thing has happened, our student Trixie was kidnapped. I assure you there is no need to panic as police is solving this mystery already." "We are working hard to find your friend" a policeman said. "We saw on security cameras that whoever did this wore this brown hat we later found in the library. If you know anything about it please let us know." Later at lunch. Applejack, Twilight, Pinkie, Fluttershy and Rarity were sitting down at the table. "I guess then we have nothing to worry about, right? Since police will solve it." Applejack said. "I don't know about that. I am pretty scared." Rarity replied. "I was asked questions about Trixie's and mine fight." "Are you scared they will suspect you?" Fluttershy wondered. "Well yes, but also that someone else is going to be kidnapped." "I just don't understand," Twilight said, " why would anybody do that to her?" "Because they are her competition for captain spot?" Rainbow joined them. "Oh please stop it!" Rarity was getting annoyed. "She was rude to everyone. Literally anyone could be responsible for that." "Since when do you all sit with us regular mortals." Sunset was suprised as she sat down with them. "Hey, I just came here hoping you would be brave enough to join me in solving this mystery." Rainbow said. "Seems like an adventure." "And I came to make sure you won't tell them I made the hat." Rarity said. "Wouldn't that help them solve it?" Fluttershy asked. "It would also make me look even more suspicious. I really don't need that." "Perfect!" Rainbow said. "Then we are the only ones who are able to solve this mystery. We have the clue!' "Absolutely not!" Twilight complained. "We need to tell the police!" "I don't know, it would make Rarity look bad." Applejack said. "What if they somehow come to conclusion she is the one who did it?" "Well did you?" Pinkie suspiciously asked Rarity. "No!" Rarity replied. "I'm in!" everyone turned to Sunset. "Solving this mystery seems like a fun adventure." "But wouldn't that get you into more trouble?" Twilight asked. "Especially since some people used to think you're bad." "Some still do think you're bad." Fluttershy looked at Sunset with suspicion. "Eh, I'll risk it. Sometimes you have to do things you want to without fearing what others will think of you, Twilight. It's your life after all and people who matter to you will love you anyway." Twilight thought about that. "Alright, I'm in too!" "Wow, even Twilight Sparkle will join us in this rule breaking." Rainbow was suprised. "It's not that big rule breaking..... right?" "Nah, it will be fun!" Pinkie replied. "I am also in!" "I am, of course, in" Rarity also added. "We need to get to the real truth and not let anyone innocent be accussed." "Me too! I wanna join!" Applejack said. "It looks like it will be an adventure. Besides all of you are joining too!" Fluttershy sighed. "I guess that means I will too." "Great!" Rainbow was happy. "Let's all meet up later then to discuss it. I need to go to my team now." "Come to my botique at 6." Rarity said. Later at Rarity's botique. "So I made 3 of these hats. One is with Sweetie Belle, one was bought by Spitfire and one by Flash Sentry." Sunset eyerolled. "Of course my ex would be involved." "Well Flash wasn't the one who was school bully..." Fluttershy complained. "What do you even have against me? Do you still think I'm mean?" "Well you were pretty rude to me." "I apologized, and I have changed." "I don't know about that..." "Can we please focus on removing my name from suspects" Rarity said. "I mean, solving this mystery." "Okay we are all from different school groups, we can find out anything from anyone." Rainbow said. "I'll ask Spitfire, Rarity you ask Sweetie Belle and someone will need to go ask Flash." "Not me." Sunset instantly said. "No one else knows him" Rainbow noticed. "I do!" Pinkie smiled. "Awesome, Pinkie can you do it then?" "Sure!" Tomorrow they met at Rainbow's home. "Well, I can't believe I was actually invited to your house." Twilight was suprised. "Wow Rainbow!" Applejack was also suprised. "You really have a lot of throphies and medals." "Yeah, I really love sports!" "Oh really? Do you plan to do it as your job?" "Uh huh! My dream has always been to become a member of the Wonderbolts, best football team in the world!" "That's sounds amazing! I am sure you will make it!" "Thanks!" Rainbow smiled. "What about you? What are your future plans?" "Well I will probably lead family apple farm. I also like baking treats from apples." "Sweet!" "You sure do have a lot of photos of yourself around the house" Twilight noticed. "Hey, my parents put those here, not me." "They must be very proud then." "They are. But we aren't here to talk about that, what did you guys find out?" Rainbow asked. "I found out Flash still has his hat" Pinkie said. "Also that they will not be doing taco tuesdays in school anymore." "What? No fair!" Everyone was shocked. "Spitfire also still has the hat with her, she was actually wearing it." Rainbow explained. Rarity sighed. "Then I guess it was Sweetie Belle's..." "Can you explain a bit more?" Sunset asked. "Sweetie Belle borrowed someone this hat. They have never returned it." "But who did she borrow it to?" Fluttershy and other were curious. "That's the thing," Rarity said. "She borrowed it to Trixie." After class they all met at the library. Rarity wasn't there. "This is kinda getting out of hand" Applejack was talking with Rainbow. "Tell me about it, so much has happened in the last 3 days." "If nothing at least all of us became friends!" "Huh?" "I mean all of this danger and mystery that we are in brought us together." "I guess you are right. I didn't really think too much about it. I guess you could say we became friends." There was a short comfortable silence before Applejack broke it. "Hey can I ask you something?" Applejack asked. "You just did." "You know what I mean!" "I was just joking. Of course you can!" "I'm just curious, do you maybe have a girlfriend?" "Why?" Rainbow was amused. "Are you interested?" she teased her. "I was only curious." "Suree" she said. "And no, I don't. I recently broke up with my ex." "Oh, I'm sorry." "Nah, don't be. We really didn't get along at all!" "Oh!" Another short silence. "Mind if I ask, did you have a lot of girlfriends in the past?" "Did Twilight tell you that?" Rainbow eyerolled. "I did but not because I used people or anything like that. It's just... I guess you could say I need someone who can keep up with me. It is also hard to find someone who is loyal and honest!" "Oh!" Applejack said. "I am sorry if the question was too judging. I hope you're not angry." She was uncomfortable. "Nah, of course not! It's chill really. People often think that. And I know you didn't mean anything bad about it, you were just wondering to make sure I am not a player since you have an obvious crush on me." "I... uh... what? I mean...." Rarity suddenly entered the library and interrupted their conversation. "Whoever this is we need to destroy them!" Rarity was angry. "Woah, slow down! Maybe we should just quit and let the police handle it?" Twilight was being reasonable. "Absolutely not! They kidnapped my sister! We need to find her! They won't be able to do that!" "And why would we be able to do it if they can't?" Fluttershy asked. "I... don't know." "Look, let's all just calm down" Applejack said. "I can't calm down!" "I know, Rarity. And that's reasonable. But we need to figure out what is best for us." Applejack replied. "If we continue, there is a big chance someone else will be kidnapped" Sunset said. "So you're saying our only option is to let the police do it?" Rainbow asked. "I'm afraid so." Suddenly they all got a text. "You played with fire, there is no escape now. If you go to police, I'll make sure many more are lost. Now you're playing by my rules or else your good friend T will make sure police sees Rarity is to blame. -T" They all were shocked. "Does anybody else feel like forever locking themselves in room and crying or is that just me?" Fluttershy was scared. "What should we do?" Pinkie asked. "I guess we have no other option..." Rainbow noticed. Later, the girls exited the police station after telling them everything. "Are you absolutely positive they can't blame me?" Rarity asked. "We showed them the texts. They will see someone is trying to set you up." Sunset said. And then there was silence. "So uh," Applejack broke the silence, "what do we do now?" "Well, we did everything we could." Sunset said. "Too bad there wasn't more mystery and action." Rainbow added. "Hopefully soon we will find out the truth" Applejack said. "At least we know it is not any of us!" "Oh, I would not be so sure about that" Fluttershy said. "Is this about me being bad in the past again?" Sunset joined. "I have told you, I don't believe you have changed." "Ugh! You know what? I am out of here. We tried and did what we did. Now we wait for police to inform us. See you all around!" Sunset walked away angrily. "Well done" Twilight was not pleased. "You were not attending our school when she was at her worst, you don't know how she treated everyone." "But I do know she changed! I know she is truly a good person now!" "Guys just stop fighting" Rainbow interrupted. "We have bigger problems." "I think I will just go home" Rarity was sad. "See you all around in the hallways." "Yeah, I guess it is time to go home" Pinkie said. "Hey wait! Don't go away!" Applejack stopped them. "We are still friends right? Let's do something to get our minds of of this." "I really appreciate it Applejack but I would rather be alone now" Rarity said. "And as far as I know we only got together to find out what happened to Trixie" Fluttershy said. "I'm sorry but I don't think I can be friends with Sunset." "And I can't be friends with someone who disrespects her" Twilight added. "Also someone who used me to write her homework." "You know well enough I did not do that!" Rainbow said. "Do you have something against me?" "UGH!" "What?" "You know why I've said that!" "No! I literally don't! Why don't you explain it a bit?" "I... I need to go to babysit my niece right now." Twilight replied sadly. "Maybe some other time... if there ever will be one." She walked away sadly. "Well if everyone else is going, I am going away too!" Rainbow said. She paused and looked at Applejack. She opened her mouth as if she was about to speak but then closed it. "Uhh, we could still hang out, right?" Applejack asked her. "Sure thing. You are cool!" "Thanks!" Applejack was relieved. "See you tomorrow then?" "Yeah, see ya! Bye you two!" Rainbow also left. "Too bad we just fell apart, we really made a fun group." Pinkie added. "But I guess it happens." Applejack sighed. "I thought we would stay friends after this. It was really great finally having friends." "Don't be sad. You never know, maybe they will work things out. Besides, even if they don't they are all still friends with you!" "I guess you are right. "We have a big game today Spitfire will definetly be there." Rainbow said. "How about someone sneaks to her house and checks if they can find anyone or any evidence." "We are not doing that!"
