In a cave deep within a forest, a stone pedestal stood with seven indentions in the top, until two more indentions appeared, along with two geodes, one emerald green and one yellow. Then, a purple warphole appeared in the cave, as a teenage girl stepped through. She had sky blue skin, deep blue eyes, and black, chest-length hair that covered her right eye. She was wearing a black hoodie with an image of a brown book with a yellow pentagram on the cover sewn on the pocket, a pair of blue jeans, black socks, black shoes, and a black duffle bag with the same image sewn on the ends was slung around her shoulder. She stood there for a bit, dazed, before examining the cave. Immediately, she noticed the reddish-purple crystals scattered throughout the cave, along with the pedestal and the two geodes in it. Upon closer examination, she also found scrapes leading to the back of the cave, along with random pieces of confetti. A bright flash of emerald light distracted the girl, as another girl appeared from said flash, before her legs gave out, and the first teenager rushed to catch her. The new girl had light green skin, yellow hair with neon blue stripes running through it, and dark blue eyes. She was wearing a yellow jacket with an emerald green Delta (Δ) on the chest, blue athletic shorts, black socks, grey shoes with green highlights, a pair of glasses, and a blue backpack with the same mark on the center was strapped to her back.

“Emerald!” The first teenager exclaimed, “What happened to you?”

“Would you believe me if I said I just didn’t sleep well last night?” The now revealed Emerald Breeze asked.

“No.” The first girl deadpanned.

“Darn it Speda,” Emerald mockingly exclaimed, “Why do you have to know me so well!”

“I don’t know,” The first girl, Speda Hooves, replied in kind, “Maybe it’s because we’re basically sisters.” They then noticed that something in Emerald’s bag was vibrating. Emerald grabbed a black leather journal with the same emerald green Delta on it, which was the source of the vibrations. She opened it to a mostly blank page, and read the second set of words on it.

“Dear Emerald Breeze,” it read, “I have been told of your predicament by Princess Twilight, so I have left a rough sketch of your current location, known as Camp Everfree, so try to head to the head office, and catch a ride to Canterlot City. Once there, you should meet us at the Canterlot High School portal. - Sunset Shimmer (P.S. if you come across two geodes, one with the main color of your Cutie Mark, one with the main color of Speda’s Cutie Mark, grab them.)”

“I guess she means these.” Speda stated.

“I guess so.” Emerald replied, so they both reached for the geodes. Right before they could touch them, they both floated into the air, and flew over to their respective owners, the yellow to Speda, the green to Emerald. The geodes then changed into circular pendants, Speda’s with a pentagram engraved on it, Emerald’s with a Delta on it, as a leather necklace slipped through a hole on the top of each pendant, before tying onto their respective owner’s neck, causing power to flow through them, restoring Emerald of her magic and energy, and Speda of her weaker spells and wings, as their ears morphed into pony ears. The two then stepped out of the cave, before they flew off, Emerald holding onto Speda’s back tightly.

Seven girls are standing a statue base with a large crack on the top, and no statue on it. The girls were famous around school for defending said school from multiple threats, magical or not. Their names were Rainbow Dash, the Element of Loyalty, Rarity, the Element of Generosity, Applejack, the Element of Honesty, Fluttershy, the Element of Kindness, Pinkie Pie, the Element of Laughter, Twilight Sparkle, the Element of Magic, and Sunset Shimmer, the Element of Atonement. They seemed to be waiting for someone to... walk out of the base?

“What’s taking them so long?” Pinkie asked.

“It’s only been five minutes, darling.” Rarity responded. At that, a purple and pink portal appeared on the side of the base facing the group, as five figures, four human, one dog, appeared in the portal, before stumbling out onto the yard. One looked almost exactly like Twilight Sparkle, except that she had a crown on instead of glasses, a different hairstyle, and was wearing different clothes. The dog beside her had purple fur, light green fur on his underbelly, green eyes, light green, floppy ears, a fauxhawk of green hair on the top of his head, and a blue collar with spikes on it, and a gold tag with a pink heart on it. The next human had lilac skin, purple hair with mint green stripes, and greyish-blue eyes. She was wearing a purple tee underneath a mint-green tee and an open, black vest, tattered blue jeans, black shoes with purple laces, and a purple beanie with white sparkles. The last two people two step out of the portal were holding hands. One was male, with pitch black skin, flat, blue, cobweb hair, and green eyes with slit-like pupils. He was wearing a lime green shirt under an open, dark green hoodie, greenish-blue jeans, and black shoes. His name was Mothball, ex-prince of the Changelings, and dimension-hopper. The figure that was holding his hand was a female with lavender skin, purple hair with white swirls, and purple eyes with lighter purple swirls instead of pupils. She was wearing a magenta tank top with a screw and baseball on it over a purple, long-sleeve shirt, with magenta stripes on the sleeves, a plaid purple skirt, purple and magenta striped socks, black Mary Janes, and an orange and yellow striped propeller cap with a green propeller on top. Her name was Screwball, Princess of Chaos, dimension-hopper, and Mothball’s mar-err- girlfriend. (From now on, Princess Twilight is referred to as Princess, and Crystal Prep Twilight is referred to as Twilight)

“Welcome back, Princess, Starlight, and Spike.” Sunset exclaimed, “And you two must be Screwball and Mothball!”

“Yep!” Screwball replied excitedly, “Can we Duel now?”

“Uhh...” Sunset stammered, confused “Do you even have a Duel Disk and Deck?”

“Yep!” Screwball replied, as a purple Duel Disk appeared on her arm with a Deck with purple backs and a white swirl.

“...” The rest of the humans except for Pinkie Pie and those from Equestria stared dumbly.

“I’ll Duel you!” Pinkie exclaimed, as she pulled a pink Duel Disk out of her hair, before grabbing a Deck with a pink back along with three balloons, two yellow, one light blue, out of a pouch on her belt, and inserting it into the Deck space in her Disk. Before they could start the Duel however, Princess stopped them.

“Dueling can wait until after Emerald Breeze and Speda Hooves show up.” She said, her counterpart agreeing.

“Fine.” Pinkie stated, pouting.

“Later.” Screwball replied, cheering Pinkie up.

“My question is,” Applejack started, “How were y’all able to use yer magic?”

“When you hop dimensions often,” Mothball responded, “You gain an... immunity, so to speak, to things like that.”

“Ah, okay.” Applejack replied.

“Where are those two?” Rainbow Dash asked, impatient.

“They said that they took a quick stop,” Sunset replied, “And are on their way now.” At that moment, the eleven humans and one dog heard the sound of a vehicle screeching to a stop, causing them, and everyone else in the schoolyard, to look in the direction of the noise. The sound came from an emerald green Duel Runner that was vaguely reminiscent of a dragon, with black stripes running down the side, excluding two wing-like flaps that were folded down on its sides. Two people were on it, one sitting directly after the driver, both of which were female. The driver had lime green skin, and was wearing an emerald green helmet shaped like a dragon’s head, a pair of sunglasses hiding her eyes, a yellow hoodie with an emerald green Delta symbol on the chest, a pair of blue athletic shorts, black socks, gray shoes with lime green highlights, and a blue backpack with the same Delta symbol on it. The rider behind her had light blue skin, and was wearing a black helmet that was shaped like a popular, angel-like Warrior-Type Xyz Monster, the black visor hiding her eyes, a black hoodie with the image of a brown book with a yellow pentagram on the cover sewn on the pocket, blue jeans, black socks, black shoes, and a black duffel bag with the same image sewn on the ends. Strapped on the second girl’s wrist was a black Duel Disk with a Deck that had black backs with the same image in the middle.

The two girls stepped off the Runner, as the first girl reached towards the front of the Runner, before releasing her Duel Disk, which was emerald green, with a deck that had yellow backing with an emerald green Delta symbol in the center. The two girls then took off their helmets, revealing their hair, which was pitch black for the rider, and yellow with neon blue stripes for the driver. The driver then took off her sunglasses, before swapping them for a pair of regular glasses, fully revealing her deep blue eyes that matched those of the rider.

“Those two look familiar,” Princess stated, “But where have I seen them before?”

“Are you blind?” Screwball asked, “That’s obviously Emerald Breeze and Speda Hooves!”

“Seriously?” Starlight Glimmer asked.

“That’s them all right.” Mothball replied.

“How did you know?” Sunset asked.

“My boyfriend is a Changeling,” Screwball replied, “So I learned how to recognize people or ponies by their magical trace.”

“And due to me being a Changeling,” Mothball continued, “I’ve learned to recognize people by their individual scents.”

“Oh.” Twilight replied, before realizing something and getting in Screwball’s face, “What do you mean you can recognize us by our magical traces, if the only ones with magic are us and a couple others?”

“Uh...” The spiral-eyed girl started, flustered, “I don’t know?”

“We can figure that out later, Sugarcube” Applejack stated, pointing to Emerald and Speda, “But I think we have bigger problems right now.” It turns out three students, all female, had surrounded them. One of them had light and dark blue striped hair, one had purple and aquamarine striped hair, and the last one, the leader, had orange and yellow striped hair. Each of the three had a red Duel Disk strapped to their wrists, and blue backed cards with a G-clef, “forte” symbol, jagged eighth note, and a pile of red gems in front of a bunch of pink hearts in the middle of the card.

“What are the Dazzlings doing with them?” Pinkie asked.

“They better not hurt them!” Rainbow exclaimed, ready to defend the two.

“Wait, something’s happening.” Fluttershy muttered. As she said this, a straight, yellow Solid Vision Duel Blade erupted in a flash of light in front of Emerald’s Duel Disk, as a sword-like blue Blade appeared in front of Speda’s, and a curved crimson Blade appeared in front of each of the Dazzlings’ Duel Disks.

Duel Start

Speda took the first turn, Normal Summoning a monster known as “Tin Goldfish”, [Level 4 Atk: 800/Def: 2000] and activated its ability, allowing her to Special Summon a Level 4 monster from her hand, so she Special Summoned “Utopic Onomatopoeia”, [Level 4 Atk: 1500/Def: 1500] which then allowed her to Special Summon up to one “Zubaba”, “Gogogo”, “Gagaga”, and “Dododo” monster each from her hand, so she Special Summoned a “Gogogo Giant”, [Level 4 Atk: 2000/Def: 0] which allowed her to Special Summon “Kagetokage” [Level 4 Atk: 1100/Def: 1500] from her hand. She then began to chant.

“I Overlay my “Kagetokage” and “Gogogo Giant” to build the Overlay Network,” Speda exclaimed, the two proclaimed monsters turning into orbs of yellow light, before spiraling into a vortex that had appeared on the ground “To Xyz Summon the warrior of hope and light, “Number 39: Utopia” [Rank 4 Atk: 2500/Def: 2000]!” As she said this, a bright pillar of light sprung from the vortex, as an angel-like monster appeared from the pillar of light. She then began to chant again.

“Now I Overlay my “Utopic Onomatopoeia” and “Tin Goldfish” to build the Overlay Network!” Speda chanted, the two monsters once again turning into orbs of light, before spiraling into the vortex, which had reappeared, “To Xyz Summon the warrior of despair and darkness, “Number 98: Antitopian” [Rank 4 Atk: 2000/Def: 2500]!” Once again, a pillar erupted from the vortex, but this one was made of black lightning, from which appeared what seemed to be “Number 39: Utopia” except with black armor. She then began to chant once more.

“I now Overlay my “Number 39: Utopia” and “Number 98: Antitopian” to build the Overlay Network!” Speda shouted, as the Xyz Monsters and their materials turned into golden orbs of light, before spiraling into the vortex, “I Xyz Summon the king of hope and light, “Number 93: Utopia Kaiser” [Rank 12 Atk: 2500/Def: 2000]” A blinding pillar of light, now emerged from the vortex, forcing everyone watching to look away, as a hulking angel-like figure with six wings appeared from the pillar, with six orbs of light circling around it.

“Now I activate it’s effect, allowing me to Special Summon a number of Rank 9 or lower “Utopia” or “Utopic” Xyz Monsters equal to the amount of Materials attached to it as material. King’s Court!” As she stated this, two monsters appeared, one was nearly identical to “Number 39: Utopia”, and was called “Number 39: Utopia Double” [Rank 4 Atk: 0/Def: 2500], the other looked like a dark version of “Number 39: Utopia”, and was named “Number C39: Utopia Ray” [Rank 4 Atk: 2500/ Def: 2000]. She then ended her turn with by placing a card face-down.

It was Emerald’s turn next, so she started with activating the Spell card known as “Pendulum Call, which allowed her to discard one card to add two “Magician” Pendulum Monsters from her Deck to her hand, so she added “Xiangke Magician” and “Xiangsheng Magician” to her hand, before beginning to chant.

“I now use my Scale 3 “Xiangke Magician” and Scale 8 “Xiangsheng Magician” to set the Pendulum Zones!” Emerald chanted, “Now, I can Pendulum Summon monsters from Levels 4 through 7! Swing, Pendulum of Souls! I Pendulum Summon, Come forth and bring my monsters into perfect harmony, “Harmonizing Magician” [Level 4 Atk: 0/Def: 0], turn up the heat, “Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon” [Level 7 Atk: 2500/Def: 2000], appear from beyond the Grave, “Odd-Eyes Phantom Dragon” [Level 7 Atk: 2500/Def: 2000], Dragon with dual-colored eyes, show these fools the power of the Pendulum, “Odd-Eyes Arc Pendulum Dragon” [Level 7 Atk: 2700/Def: 2000]!” The proclaimed Monsters appeared, and Emerald used “Harmonizing Magician's” ability to Special Summon “White Wing Magician” from her Deck. She then began to chant again.

“I Overlay my Level 4 “Harmonizing Magician” with my Level 4 “White Wing Magician” to build the Overlay Network!” Emerald shouted a vortex appearing in front of her, as the monsters turned into orbs of purple light, before swirling into the vortex, “Cloaked in shadow and relentless in its objective, I Xyz Summon Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon [Rank 4 Atk: 2500/Def: 2000]!” A pillar of purple lightning appeared in the portal, before a black dragon with two machine-like wings appeared, two purple orbs circling around it. She then ended her turn.

Each of the Dazzlings set a Monster and Spell/Trap face-down, and Speda just ended her turn, leading back to Emerald, who drew a card, before Normal Summoning the card she drew, “Black Fang Magician” [Level 4 Atk: 1700/Def: 800] and activating her “Xiangke Magician’s” Pendulum Ability to change “Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon’s” Rank to a Level and Xyz Summoning “Supreme King Dragon Dark Rebellion”[Rank 4 Atk: 2500/Def: 2000]. This continued, leading to Emerald Xyz Summoning her “Odd-Eyes Raging Dragon” [Rank 7 Atk: 3000/Def: 2500] with nine Xyz Materials attached to it. She then detached one of the materials to destroy all of the Dazzlings’ cards, and boosting its Atk by 200 for each card destroyed. Each Siren had 6 cards on their field, 3 monsters and 3 Spells/Traps, boosting her monster's Atk by 3600 [Atk: 6600], which also allowed her monster to attack twice.

Emerald then attacked Aria and Adagio, bringing their LP down to 1400 each

Emerald then ended her turn, returning her monster's Atk to normal [Atk: 3000]. Then, the Dazzlings each set a card, and ended their turns. Speda then attacked Aria's monster with "Utopia Double", destroying it, before attacking Aria directly with "Utopia Ray", reducing her life points to 0.

Next, Emerald activated her "Raging Dragon's" effect, giving her monster 400 extra Atk [Atk: 3400], before attacking Adagio and Sonata once each.

This caused Sonata to forfeit the Duel, causing the monsters to burst into yellow particles, as the Duel Disks deactivated.

Afterwards, Aria and Adagio glared at Sonata, causing her to run inside the school in tears as the other two walked away from the school. The rest of the gang walked over to congratulate Emerald and Speda, but Emerald kept staring at where Sonata had disappeared.

“Hey, Emerald,” Sunset asked, “Are you okay?”

“Yeah...” Emerald responded.

“Hey, Sis,” Speda whispered, “Go get her.”

“Ok.” At that Emerald ran into the school after Sonata, leaving the rest confused at what had happened.

“What was that about?” Rainbow Dash asked.

“Emerald can sense other’s emotions” Speda replied.

“Ah.”

In this world, when a person comes to a certain age (about 14), they get a pack of cards that changes depending on the person to fit their personality/talent. In the case of the characters from Equestria, the deck appears on their outfit when they switch worlds, or at some point afterwards. The card backs also change to match their Cutie Mark. This takes place after the events of the Equestria Girls: Spring Breakdown series. Screwball and Mothball appear after the events of My Little Pony: The Movie, along with Speda and Emerald. The reason for this is that after the events of DisneyFanatic2364’s Daughter of Discord series, Screwball accidently warps herself and Mothball out of their dimension, and spent time hopping from dimension to dimension, coming across Speda and Emerald in the Fallout: Equestria dimension, who joined them, eventually coming across the Equestria in the show, which I will refer to as Equestria Prime. On the EqG side of things, due to the invention of Dueling before the EqG series started, the position of Fall Formal Queen was awarded to the victory of a Dueling Tournament that started a week before the Formal, meaning that I changed the opening of the portal to the day before the tournament starting, and it stayed open until the end of the tournament, when Sundown Shimmer was defeated. Rainbow Rocks was only different in the fact that due to Solid Vision; the bands could have their monsters helping them, but each member was only allowed one monster on stage at a time (Ex. Rainbow, Twilight, Rarity, Applejack, Fluttershy, and Pinkie could each have one of their monsters out, but Twilight couldn’t have six monsters out at once.) The Friendship Games were basically the same, except for the addition of Dueling in the competition. Legend of Everfree was exactly the same, because I really couldn’t fit Dueling into the movie anywhere. I hope that clears things up for you. Later Everypony! -A/N-
