Luna was never a pony to go to parties. But when her sister insists Luna participate, she accepts. When she meets Celestia's student, Twilight Sparkle, she begins to like Twilight Sparkle, but more than as a friend. But one thing no pony knows is that when Luna sleeps, Nightmare Moon takes control of Luna. When Luna discovers that Nightmare Moon is still alive inside her, she will do anything to get rid of her.
