Before we begin any of this storytelling, I should get out some information and the ground basis of the world that I will be setting this story in. So, get y’all’s ears ready.

First, this is based on the broken reality of the end of Season 5. As you can see in the finale’s episode, there were multiple of broken reality and timelines that occurred due to the missing presence of Twilight Sparkle. I chose to put my own reality on Sombra’s uprising. This means, that my reality is based on the world where the Main 6 (or in this case Main 5) never protected the Crystal Heart. And thus, Sombra took over. Also, the Crystal Empire is now broken and shattered, everything being rendered to rubble and fire and ash due to the destruction of the Crystal Heart, except for Sombra’s castle, located in the heart of the Crystal Empire.

Note that the world that I have casted has multiple clans set in. Don’t worry, I will explain how that can be even remotely possible in the story. There are clans built on divert attention seeking, some on illusions, some on pure power and magic. Almost every single clan has several different bonds and tensions with other clans. These clans all remain in the Crystal Empire, due to a border cast by Sombra. Every single clan is hunted down by Sombra’s army. This means constant patrol around the burned city. There are also ‘freelancers’, meaning clan-less people hiding from Sombra’s army. Though they are very little.

Second, Equestria’s resistance in the broken reality of Sombra’s uprising is in the midst of it’s formation. Meaning, there is little to no resistance coming from Equestria’s side. Only myths and word about the uprising of said resistance. Sure enough, it has been fully formed, but rumours have been spreading out.

Third, in this world, the Crystal Heart was shattered. Yep, you heard me right. This is due to a couple of reasons. There has to be a formidable reason for war, and to cause war on both the Equestria and Changeling Lands front is for something to struck tragedy. By destroying the Crystal Heart, not only is it a bait for the Changeling Lands, but it shows a sign for Equestria to strike revenge. Basically pisses them off.

Forth, is about spells. Mostly about teleportation, transfiguration and illusion spells. Illusion spells will be abundantly used and abused throughout the entire story, so bare with me the rules that I have placed for it. Every illusion spell can be broken and is widely known. They can be broken using gems, enchanted items, encryptions, and general (literal) magic altogether, granted it has an anti-illusion spell enchanted inside of it, and the anti-illusion spell is powerful enough to uncover illusions. However, it depends on the strength of the illusion spell. If it is weak, then general magic can easily bind it away. For stronger illusion spells, it is required that they enquire enchanted gear. This type is commonly used by Sombra’s army and the clans of the Crystal Empire.

Now, teleportation spells. This type of spell can be only used in a couple of situations. First, people can only teleport to the place to where they mentally ‘remember’ the area of. Easily said, if they know the place well enough, and they remember the location, they can teleport towards it. This means they cannot immediately teleport to anywhere without any worry or hesitation. Not only that, but the range of the teleportation needs an indication. This..is quite controversial. Simply said, the teleportation spell can only be committed so far as the range doesn’t reach above 2.5 yards. For the cooldown of the spell (yes, it’s that overpowered when used in it’s full potential), no matter how far you teleport, there will be a short cooldown for each time you teleport using the spell. You can’t carry a person with you to teleport, but non-living items are allowed, so long as it doesn’t exceed the person teleporting in mass and weight. Also, there is no way of delaying or canceling someone else’s teleportation spell once it is activated. Only the caster can do that.

Lastly, the transfiguration spell. I’m just gonna blow the bubble right here, right now; they don’t exist. Yet.

Mind you that some of these limits will be broken as the acts and chapters progress.

They are placed there for a reason. Some of them are for the purpose of ‘to be broken’. So, there you have it. Everything that I have to explain for the story. Hope you get everything I have instructed and told. Please be as gentle and civil as possible while reading, that will be really great from my side of the house.
