Chapters As soon as Twilight and Sunset finished talking, Twilight went over to Starlight to fill her in on this situation. Starlight thought to herself how it would be nice to see her human friends again and if they would react the same way to being a pony that she reacted to being a human. "They'll probably like it here and get interested being their different races, especially the other Spike being a dragon."
"Yeah, and I wonder if the other me will be a alicorn or still be a unicorn like I used to be," wondered Twilight out loud, " there's a lot of unanswered questions to what will happen as well as a lot of strange things for there point of view probably."
"Alright then, let's get some rest and tomorrow I can go with you to ask our friends if they're fine with this."
"Alright then, good night."

The next morning, Twilight and Starlight started off the day going to the kitchen for breakfast and to ask Spike's opinion on the matter on both of there minds. Spike seemed okay with the matter, despite how they thought he would react. " I honestly just see it as seeing some old friends again after awhile," stated Spike, " It'll only really be weird around the other me, but I won't have to be around the other me all the time so yeah I'm in."
"Huh, I thought it'd be weird for everypony," said Twilight.
"I can get why you would think that, but keep in mind people think differently about certain things."
"Fair enough. Anyways Starlight and I are going to go out and see if the girls want to be a part of this, or if it'll be too weird for them. Do you want to come with us."
"No thanks, I think I'll get the guest rooms ready in case they stay overnight. Hopefully the other girls decide they're okay with this so things get interesting. Also, I recommend finding a way to be able to tell who's from which world."
"Alright, thanks for the advice and getting things ready; see you later Spike," said Twilight as she and Starlight walked out the front door.
Their friends had varying opinions on matter at hoof. Pinkie and Rainbow seemed a little excited at the idea. Pinkie seemed more curious how her friends would react to there other selves since she's already met both versions(check friendship games bloopers) herself, but Rainbow wanted to see if both versions were just as awesome as each other, mainly the other Rainbow Dash.
While Fluttershy wasn't too keen on the idea, she was willing to try it for her friends. Twilight told her not to worry since they were just other versions of her best friends who would never do anything to hurt her. This did seem to calm her a little luckily.
Last but not least, AJ and Rarity while fine with it said they might not be able to be there the whole time since they still had their respective businesses to take care of. Starlight did have the idea though that maybe if they were fine with it and managed not to get caught, they other versions of themselves could help out since they respected hard work(AJ) and just adored fashion(Rarity). Both AJ and Rarity refused at first, but after some convincing said only if their other selves were absolutely sure.
"Well that was easier than I thought," said Twilight on the way back to the castle," Now we just wait for Sunset's reply."
"I was thinking the exact same thing," said Starlight turning to Twilight," I mean AJ and Rarity were a little hesitant, but not too hesitant and they are just two of the five friends we had to convince, six friends if you include Spike."
"I mean it's not bad, just unexpected."
"Exactly!"
"Maybe were just overthinking it," said Twilight as they entered the castle," This should be considered a positive thing."

Back on Earth...
Since Twilight decided to ask their friends about going to Equestria the following day, Sunset decided to go and ask them as well. While they didn't know it, their replies were almost exactly the same as the Mane 6's. Applejack was worried about leaving the farm, but the rest of the Apples, who were around at the time, said they could manage for a few days. Rarity was a little worried she would get a little behind on some fashion orders, but when she checked her schedule, she saw that she really didn't have that much and what she did have she had a reasonable amount of time to get finished.
Pinkie and Rainbow were once again excited for the idea for the same reasons, reactions and awesomeness comparisons.
Finally, Fluttershy was once again only a little comfortable, but was willing to try it for the sake of her friends. Also according to Sunset, Princess Twilight said she had an even stronger connection to animals there, going as far as being to talk to them without the need of her pendant.
Everyone decided to start packing and meet up at the portal tomorrow morning. on the way home, Twilight and Sunset stuck a conversation discussing the matter.
"What's Equestria like?"
"It's kinda hard to explain. It's almost completely different, but at the same time completely the same, " said Sunset thinking back on the matter. Getting so close to going back home was both exciting and terrifying for her. Since she was from there it was comforting, it's also where her bad history starts. What if she ran into Princess Celestia when showing her origins. That would be awkward definitely.
"But what should I expect?"
"Well you'll be able to use magic easier, probably, since you'll have a horn, as well as other spells if you want to learn them," said Sunset, "I'm not sure if we'll be there long enough for more advanced spells however. Just know that no matter what, they'll always welcome you as a friend."
"Alright, see you tomorrow at the portal," said Twilight as she started walking in a different direction to her house.
"See you then," said Sunset waving goodbye. Getting pretty close to her house, Sunset decided to take out the journal and start sending her information like everyone was going and were hoping to get there in the late morning. Princess Twilight quickly replied saying that was okay and was excited to see everyone again. Although when she saw them it wouldn't be "everyone" so to speak. Sunset made an eyeroll at this joke and wrote goodbye.
"Well, I guess late tomorrow morning starts our summer vacation."

Sorry this took so long it's just like I said, I'm not really a writer so I don't contribute too much of my time to this. Please tell me if I'm doing well and what you may want to see.
"Alright girls," said Sunset in front of the portal with rest of the Mane 7, "Are you ready to see Equestria?" She could tell Twilight, Pinkie, and Rainbow were the ones really excited to see Equestria as Pinkie was bouncing like she had 20 cups of coffee, Rainbow looked like she could run a marathon, and Twilight was practically squealing through her teeth.
"Come on author, just send us through the portal already," said Pinkie to no one in particular, " Seriously, you're taking that route with my character, trying to ignore me. Fine I'll play along." Sunset and the others just looked at her in confusion, guessing that was a yes from Pinkie.
"Okay... Well on the way here, the girls and I decided we were ready. Let's see Equestria," said Twilight eagerly.
"Okay then, Princess Twilight should be on the other side of the portal, possibly with her friends," said Sunset," Also, keep in mind on the other side we'll become ponies. Pinkie and AJ should be Earth Ponies, Futtershy and Rainbow should be pegasi, and Twilight, Rarity, and myself should be unicorns. Twilight might actually be an alicorn, but it's more likely she'll be a unicorn since while Princess Twilight is an alicorn, she had to earn her title and was originally a unicorn beforehand. Does everyone have that down?"
"Yup!" squealed Pinkie jumping through the portal, " race you to Equestria!"
Everyone deadpanned for a second until Sunset finally responded. "Alright guys, here we go to Equestria," said Sunset as they all walked through the portal to Equestria.

A few moments earlier back at Equestria
The Mane 6 were gathered up by the portal along with Spike and Starlight and were looking at the mirror not sure what to expect. They knew the other versions of themselves and Sunset would exit right out of that mirror like their own reflection jumping out at them. According to Twilight, Spike, and Starlight they were nice and acted basically the same as them, but even Rainbow was a little hesitant. The only one who wasn't at all nervous was Pinkie who was going over some last minute party planning for everyone coming to Ponyville, individually and together.
"Okay...and yes, just in case, I have some Sunset Sparkle shipping supplies."
"Ya know Pinkie, I don't understand bout half of the supplies you sometimes use, but I reckon we all jus need to go with em," stated AJ trying not to read into it.
"Oh," said Pinkie hoping to clarify things, "well Sunset Sparkle is..." Suddenly she wasn't able to explain the fandom as another Pink equine seemed to leap at her from the mirror. They both fell back and rolled around, seemingly tangled in each other. "Oh hi Pinkie!" exclaimed Pinkie, " I was just working on your Welcome to Ponyville/Equestria parties."
"Ooo, nice to know I'm a good party planner in both worlds," said Pinkie as they both untangled themselves, literally. Once they stood up they saw everyone staring at them with confused and slightly horrified expressions and asked together, "What?"
The only response was Spike mumbling under his breath, "Dear Celestia what have we done?!". Everyone then turned their heads towards somepony else exiting the portal.
"Okay, how much damage has Pinkie done?" sighed Sunset when she walked out of the portal.
"Hey!" said both Pinkies simultaneously, "We'll have you know we would've only done mental damage!"
"Well that's reassuring," said Sunset sarcastically as the rest of the Mane 7 fell out of the portal, not used to walking on four legs. Everyone then turned to them as they stood up, or at least tried to.
"Woah nelly, how do y'all stand on four legs all the time?" said AJ as she finally managed to get up, " It feels so complicated, moving more than one leg at a time."
Twilight chuckled, "Now you know I felt the first time I went to the human world, except the other way around."
"Princess Twilight!" exclaimed the Mane 7, running over to give her a hug.
"It's been so long darling," said Rarity, "We haven't seen you since you met our world's Twilight. Also, I thought you'd be dressed up fancy, you are a princess after all."
"Exactly," said Rarity, "She's literally the only princess that doesn't dress up and she doesn't even wear her crown all the time. She only really wears it during big events like the Summer Sun Celebration or the Grand Galloping Gala. I mean seriously shouldn't she..."
Rarity and Rarity started to go back and forth, talking about Twilight's attire and how she should present herself more royally in a side conversation, tuning everpony else out. Twilight started giggling and said, "It makes sense those two would worry about my princess clothes. They both have worried about how I look and adored me for being a princess at one point or another. It just shows though how good friends they are." Twilight said this with a smile on her face as they hadn't even realized they were technically talking to themselves.
"Have to agree with ya there sugar cube," said both AJs before looking to each other, deadpanning. "Welp, that was strange, " said AJ seeing that AJ looked and acted just like her. "Ya can say that again," said AJ, "We haven't experienced that since Twilight met Twilight." After mentioning them they looked over to them, only knowing who was who as Earth Twilight was indeed a unicorn and Equestria Twilight was her alicorn self. They were once again addressing each other, catching up on Earth Twilight's world, more in detail than just through a journal, and already getting info on Equestria and natural magic. The only reason it wasn't awkward was because they got that awkwardness out of their systems the first time they met. "Okay, Twilight and I have decided that we, and should of us, should slightly modify our names to clear up any confusion on who is who is who," said Equestria Twilght, "I will be MagiTwilight..." and Earth Twilght said, "...And I will be SciTwi. We'll let you decided with your doppelganger what your names will be. Just remember to tell everypony later, preferably today."
"Alright, I guess that makes sense," said Rainbow, "Rainbow, let's make sure our names are at least 20% cooler than everypony else's."
"Agreed," said Rainbow, already feeling confident about their names.
"Well, I guess we should stop existing now and do a cutscene as this seems like a good place to end the chapter," said Pinkie to no one in particular.

Okay, I just want to say if you want Princess Twilight's name to be different or have ideas about the other's names, just leave it in the comments and if I like it, I might change or apply it in the next chapter.
Sorry this took so long. I just wanted to finished the show's episodes before I finished this.
One last thing, Pinkie stop breaking the fourth wall so much. It was a little annoying this chapter.

I just want to say this is my first story ever and I can’t promise I’ll complete it, since I usually give up on things that take a while and I’m terrible in the subject writing. I’ll leave that to you guys though.
A Strange Topic
It was a normal day in Ponyville. Twilight just finished up the school year’s paperwork for every creature that would return the following school year. She decided to head home and read a good book and on her way out ran into Starlight.
“Starlight!” Twilight said, glad to see her former pupil and good friend after a hard days work, “you’re still here. I would’ve thought you’d have left by now.”
“I was going to, but I kinda dozed off after all my work and just woke up,” Starlight announced, her faced a bright shade of red, “wanna head home together.”
“Why not it’ll be fun heading home with a friend. Besides we’re practically doing it already anyway.”
“Fair point,” Starlight said rolling her eyes with a smile as they continued out of the school to Twilight’s castle. On the way to the castle they asked each other what they planned to do for the summer, neither one of them having a real answer.
Sadly, the Hippogryphs were still getting settled in. The Yaks, Dragons, and Griffons were just too stubborn. Some of the changelings, while did become peaceful, still didn’t trust ponies. Even the Kirin were still getting used to speaking again and might speak out of turn or freak out whenever they felt any negative emotions.
“Well at least we’ll have each other to hang out with at least,” said Starlight with a weak smile as they reached the castle.
“I guess,” sighed Twilight, “ I just can’t shake the feeling like something big is about to happen.”
The two of them finally entered the library as a faint buzzing noise could be heard from a nearby desk. On it was a brown journal that was half her cutie mark, half her friend, from the human world, Sunset Shimmer’s cutie mark. The buzzing could clearly be seen to be coming from the journal.
“Hey look, Sunset’s writing to you! I wonder what’s something’s going on over there, seeing as their life was being the student, not the teacher.” Starlight hadn’t seen the girls since she was Twilight’s student which seemed like a lifetime ago. She wondered if she ever would see them again, seeing as she was always busy now and you can’t just go without a heads up to some pony here with proper authority. She then realized that’s technically what she did though.
“Huh, maybe that’ll take my mind off of worrying so much,” said Twilight in a hopeful tone, walking over to the journal.

Earlier, in the human world...
“Thanks again Twilight for helping me with my homework all year,” Sunset Shimmer stated as the two friends walked out of CHS for summer break.
“No problem Sunset,” said Twilight Sparkle with a smile, “you know I love studying and research. Homework isn’t too far off from that.” She was a little sad it was done for three months. She hoped she would find something else to study or analyze over the summer. “Hey Sunset,” said Twilight.
“Yeah?”
“You wouldn’t happen to know about anything I could study, would you?” asked Twilight hopefully.
Sunset just replied with a slight chuckle and said, “I’m sorry, you just sound so much like Princess Twilight in just that one sentence.” Then Sunset got an idea that was half a joke and half an actual idea, “hey why don’t you try doing some hands on research about Equestria. Sure, I’ve told you guys about it, but it’s completely different first hand, or in this case first hoof. Besides it’ll be cool to show you all my origin.”
Twilight didn’t know how to respond to this. Sure it would be an amazing research project, but it would be weird, being a pony and most likely bumping into her other self. Then she realized she would have her friends to be there if she needed them, or at least Sunset if her friends were too uncomfortable going. Besides it would be nice to see Sunset’s origin.
“Alright, I’ll do this. You contact Princess Twilight about it. I’ll go ask our friends if they want to come too if Princess Twilight gives the thumbs up,” Twilight said with a sudden eagerness. Sure it was weird, but it was also research.

Back to the present...
Twilight picked up the buzzing journal and started reading what Sunset was asking. Once she started reading, her expression changed from confusion, to skepticism, to shock. She couldn’t believe what she was reading.”
“ Hey Twilight, none of us have any plans for the summer and our Twilight wanted to research something new, so I offered showing Twi and the girls Equestria as long, as it’s okay with you since there will be two of everyone. Also I said I would show them my origins, which will include before I was Celestia’s student. I just have two questions, do I have your permission and if so do you and your friends want to join us and get to meet their other selfs.”
Twilight thought to herself for a moment. She had wondered if this day would ever come and if it would be okay. It would be nice to see her friends again, but a little awkward and confusing with her original friends here, not to mention her other self. Also would they have to sneak around or try to blend in or whatever they would have to do since there would be two of everyone. Finally, she made a decision.
“Alright, while it might be confusing, lets see where this leads. I’ll ask my friends if they want to join this fun road trip of Equestria and which friends it will be.”
“Thanks Twilight!” Sunset scribbled excitedly, “I’ll let you know which of my friends are coming and when we’re coming. Let’s not lie though this probably will get weird and awkward.”
“Yup.”
