Load Full StoryNext ChapterSnow sighed as she glanced out of her window at The Ponyville Inn. A flurry of white specks flew by, the wind pounding the window as it blew fiercely. Ponyville was experiencing an unusually strong blizzard it seemed.
Just her luck.
She turned towards her room and went to the desk, sitting down and staring at her paper and pens. She had come to Ponyville for a Winter Festival, but the sudden snow-storm had everyone taking cover indoors.
She heard even the trains weren’t running for fear of getting stuck. Which in turn, left her and many others who came for the festival stuck in their rooms. Of course she could try and brave the outdoors, she had plenty of warm clothing to cover her, but she doubted any restaurant or store would be open.
At least the inn had plenty of provisions, and with each room boasting its own fireplace she was keeping toasty warm. If only she wasn’t so bored.
Snow had long finished her article on the festival, touching on the decorations, planned events, and lamenting that the snowstorm had shut down the festival.
She shifted in her seat as her gaze drifted to a book she had brought with her, a Love Song novel. Within its pages were tales of admittedly cliche erotica and themes of BDSM. Snow had to laugh at the irony of the specific book she brought with her, 'A Storm of Love' - a story about a traveling griffon and pony having to take refuge in a cave during a snowstorm.
She wasn't sure if she had read it before, though she had a good idea how the plot would progress. Another glance at her extra paper and pens lit a lightbulb in her mind.
She'd always wanted to try a hoof at actual literature, and cloppy fanfiction was a good a place to start as any.
With a grin on her face, and a fire in her belly, she picked up her pen and began to write...
