The day Light understood she had to seduce the dragon

So a little head's up here. throughout this fic Spike will have more abilities than those shown in the series. Strength, magic skills, and the ability to change his size and shape wherever he wants are some of them.
Why? Because those are the abilities of the protagonist in the original story.
The day Light understood she had to seduce the dragon
“You know we could have asked Rarity for this, right?” asked a little purple drake to a hooded creature, a human of a curvy figure. The cloak that the human wore was long and big enough to hide her shape.
“And where is the fun on that? The only times I’d asked for a piece of cloth was for formal events, not adventures. In any case, I would’ve looked for a blacksmith to make me an armor,” the girl said while scanning the short violet skirt being displayed at the store before her.
“Then why have we been looking at skirts and skimpy outfits for a straight hour?” he asked irritated while looking up at her.
“Because you are here for the protection part, Spike,” she paused and then smiled seductively at him, “so the least I can do is give you a good view of who you are protecting.”
Spike facepalmed himself and let his hand fall slowly while giving a deadpan serious glare to the woman, “Light, the fact that you are a woman now doesn’t change my opinion. I already told you who my heart belong-”
“Did she said yes?”
“No, but-”
“Then that means I still have a chance,” the girl said before pulling down her hood, revealing with it her fair skin, the freckles adorning her cheeks and her curly light brown hair. After a content sigh, she continued with a cocky smile, “come on, Spike, you may have fallen in love with the best tailor in town, but she still doesn’t know which are the best pants to get into.”
Spike painfully sighed, “well the least I can do is thank you for the compliment. But let me be clear: I’m not interested in you, okay?”
The girl nudged him, giving a cocky smile. “hey, at least I got your mother approval,” she stated with pride.
“It doesn't count if only one of my two mothers said yes.”
“Auch. Two? Spike what about your blood-related mother?” Light pouted, “I’m sure that at this point we will find her before finding myself a way back home.”
Her words hold no ill intent but all the opposite, for Light often liked to joke about her own situation. Even still it held meaning for the dragon. Spike couldn’t find an answer to throw back at her, instead, he glanced down as a feeling of guilt coursed through him.
Noticing that her silly comment had just turn off the happiness of the little chat, Light decided to move to another store. Spike followed, his eyes lost in the pavement.
Some time passed as the duo walked down the streets of the big city. Luckily for the human, most of the other creatures were so focused on their own things that they didn’t notice the existence of a new kind of creature in their city. That detail gave Light the chance to write down some notes on her pocketbook as she watched ponies who were wearing the same outfits and dresses she had been looking since her arrival.
“They really look good on that, but there is no way I can wear those things without making my hips two times bigger first,” she said to herself before looking at her friend, aaaand he still looks sad. hmmm, there must be a way to cheer him up…
As Light hummed—in all honesty, she wasn’t thinking in anything at the moment—Her eyes got a glimpse of a really particular store, “A clothing shop for dragons?”
“Huh? Yeah, they mostly sell long shirts. Dragons are still trying to figure out what fashion is, or if is even worth for them to have it...”
“Interesting,” she cooed, “say, Spike, can you wait for me here? I want to take a good look at that store.”
Spike arched a brow in mild confusion, what would Light do in a store made for dragons? “ahm...” he stammered, his words failing him at the sight of Light covering herself again; whatever thing she was going to do, it was serious. “ah, nothing… at least this could be interesting.”
“I hope to find something you’ll like,” she commented, before pausing in thought. her hand moved up to her lips and she looked at him, ”well, if you don’t like it, maybe the problem would be wearing anything at all.”
Spike glared at her, “Really? Light, I had lived alongside ponies my whole life, the only thing covering their privates are their tails; and take my word as someone who is at eye level with their plot: No tail is big enough to cover them perfectly.”
Light hummed in content at that answer and moved to the store, thinking that at least she was able to loosen her friend a little before leaving him alone.
After a couple of minutes, she found herself inside the store, there was not much to appreciate at plain sight, the entrance and lobby of the store only had belts with spikes to show to the customers. All the shirts were on the other side of the bar so Light had to speak with the drake in charge first.
But before she could even take two steps inside the store, a voice interrupted her.
“Hey, Will!” called out a mare from the outside before going in, “Light Will is that you?” asked the pink mare of cotton-like mane, “it’s me, Pinkie Pie.”
“Ahm--” Light stammered, “You should be confused, young mare, I don’t know who is this Wi-”
“Spike is in heat and he needs your help!” she shouted while her hoofs rocketed to the sky.
Light turned back and ran to the door, “I’M GOING, MY LO—” but in the way out, her feet were meet by a pink solid hoof and she fell to the ground...
and for a painful moment, she stood there, “... ugh ...” she grunted, “My physical pain is the only thing stopping me from feeling ashamed of my reaction.”
“Well, well, well, you turned yourself into a female? I didn’t think you were that desperate. Oh, also, male dragons don’t go into heat,” Pinkie laughed before helping Light up, “you are breaking some rules from the love book with that new body, you know?”
“I’m just thinking in the future, Pinks,” Light said as she cleaned the dust from her face, “I’ll like to have a family of my own blood, you know? and men plus dragon males equals zero babies.”
“Well you are right on that,” Pinkie said before giving a good stare at one of the belts, “anyway, what are you doing here? I thought you two were into adventures and weird shenanigans.”
“We just got back from the badlands. They are not as bad as I expected thou’,” she explained, “we’ve got ourselves a fight with a chimera and in the process, I lost my backpack and my clothes.”
“And why won't you ask Rarity for more? she even told me last time that she was really eager to make some clothes for your unique type of body, and that was while you were a male!”
“I know, I know. But honestly, I just can’t go and tell her: hey rares, I need an outfit that says pin me down and knock me up,” she paused, “I intend to get your Spikey-Wikey with that outfit by the way.”
“Ha, ha, yeah...” she glanced at Light with a big smile, “Rarity will probably kill you if you say that to her.”
Suddenly, the shop's employee called out to them, he seemed to have a problem with his own teeth while talking, “hey are sha’ goin’ to chitcha’ all day or are sha’ gonna buy something?” he grunted while cleaning his fangs, “we have a shirt that says what shu’ just said… sha’ can buy that in leave.”
With certain disdain, the drake showed them the shirt. Pinkie was ready to give the drake some words about proper customer service but was muted by Light's over excitement. She jumped at the front of the cashier and demanded the shirt.
The drake mumbled some curses about how he just played himself since he had to actually work now, took the shirt and, just by mere luck, he did his job and properly sell the item, "here sha' go. Now leave."
Eager to get out of the place, Pinkie offered Light a quick meal somewhere else. The offer was accepted and sooner than later they were in a store a couple of blocks away. “So… what is your plan?” started Pinkie after a quick chat about Light and Spike’ last adventure and Light current objective, which obviously was taking the dragon's heart.
The task hasn't been easy for the young human. She explained how dragons seemed to hate humans of the same sex by instinct, or so she thought until she turned into a woman —thanks to the local potion guru.
But the change of sexuality did nothing to enhance her relationship with the dragon. Even the adds she asked the guru to gave her served no purpose. For some reason even with her new curvy figure and round breast she couldn't get the dragon or his twin dragons attention.
“I mean just look at this big tatas, any male from my world will be crazy for them,” she exclaimed, earning the attention of some curious looks. Light recognized the shine on the looks from the stallions—and some mares— looking at her, “See? even they are ogling me!”
Pinkie produced a silly laugh before taking the issue seriously again. after a little time of humming and thinking, she recalled that female dragons don’t have breast to begin with. That will explain why he did pay no mind to them.
To answer her, Light refuted with her curvy figure. most dragons have big hips. “even Spike has thicc thighs”, she added before growling in exasperation, "these have to mean something, right?".
Pinkie Pie shrugged at the question; the shape of dragons more than often were odd so any feature could be assumed to something unique.
"I'm running out of options, agh! if I can’t find something to get his heart, Rarity will take him as soon as we end our mission."
"Actually, the best choice will be going for classics ones. Spike likes old kind of romance, you know, like princess in distress rescued by a handsome knight."
“He had saved my ass at least two times by day, so playing that card won't work...” she breathed, “The real problem is that he is so fixated with Rarity that he doesn't even think loving another person is even possible. But!" she held a finger to enhance the drama of the conversation, "if being a man had shown me something is that the thing between our legs can't often open our minds to new ideas! so this is my new plan: lure Spike’s lewd self out and show him what I can do for him. Sooner than later he will start to stop thinking only about Rarity, and that's when I can make a real move”
Pinkie has taken at least ten milkshakes by the time the talk ended, making her thoughts as messy as they could be—which wasn’t so much as a difference, yet enough to blind her from the right answer at the time—she agreed to help her on her quest, which took Light by surprise.
“I thought you’ll stand by Rarity’s side,” Light said.
“I have never seen Rarity buried as deep in the love pit as you are now. Something tells me that you should have a chance too. Besides, opening Spike's mind to other po- creatures will be good for him in the long run.”
And so the crusade to lure Spike’s more lewd and dirty desires started, firstly, by using the new shirt.
“Hey Spike,” Light approached, “I think I finally found a piece of cloth that speaks my minds.”
Spike read the words imprinted on the shirt
“Pin me… and knock me do…”
With a flustered expression, he proceeded to give himself a good facepalm, “ha, nice try. I’ll love to see the diamond dogs reaction if they find you wearing that,” he averted his eyes away from her. “Let’s go to the nearby blacksmith already.”
Pinkie, who was looking from afar, took notes from the event before gesturing Light to keep trying. Light moved closer to Spike, both of them now in direction to the east of the city.
“I don't know about diamond dogs, but what about you, Spike? What do you think about this shirt?” she asked with curious eyes.
“Is useless and you should take it off...”
“Really?” she smiled. “You should have said that earl-”
Spike stopped her before she could pull up the long shirt, “my sweet Luna, what were you thinking?”
“You just told me to take it off.”
“Yeah but not here in the open!”
“Oh… so you want to go to a private place?”
“No!” his cheeks turned red, “I was talking about changing your clothes okay?! don’t misunderstand it.”
A blush, that was enough to make Light determination rise a little. She gave a thumbs up to Pinkie and laughed at the drake as he walked faster, his head low and his stride shaky.
“So...” a robust stallion breathed, a pipe in his mouth and a cloud of smoke above him, “What will it be? your body looks a lot like drag’ns, but you don’t seem as toug’ as them,” he then spat on a bucket.
“I just need something to fill the gap,” Light said, “a chain armor or leather armor will do the trick,” she explained before something shined in her eyes. she smiled and added, “actually I would like something special...”
Spike sighed, already expecting the worst from his partner. His expectation was right, for Light started to describe a set of armor that barely covered her body.
For the upper body, a leather jacket and a top made of chains, “they just need to cover my breast so it won’t take you too much to make it… now,” she continued then with the lower part, from which the boots were the only normal thing. she wanted a skirt made of chains, hold by a belt with a convex shape in the middle so it could at least try to cover her underwear.
“I think the shirt alone is a better option...” muttered Spike, for his demise a string of air flushed through, lifting the lower end of Light’s shirt. he grunted as a red taint covered his cheeks.
“You said something?”
“No, just get your attempt of an armor done so we can continue,” he then looked at the blacksmith, who was currently staring at the woman’s hips. he pouted and breathed out a trail of smoke.
“Huh?” the blacksmith pulled himself back from his thoughts, “sorry, I ju- is just that it’s the first time I’ve seen a creature like this… and for so long… I just can’t help to question myself how that armor will look on you.”
Light smiled and looked at Spike from the corner of her eyes, “yeah, right?” she approached the stallion, “just imagine it, me, flying down because I messed up with the wrong cockatrice, my chest armor open right in the middle” she grasped her boobs,”and then my loyal partner here comes to save the day, taking me in his arms and holding me, grasping my rear with the excuse of protection...
By that time, the stallion had already lost his mind in the story; imagining himself as the partner of Light.
“Unfortunately, the short skirt will not be enough to hold those deviant claws to pursue a more valuable treasure than the one who could be protecting the beast before us.”
“Okay, Light that’s enough,” scolded the drake, “it was funny for a while but I don’t want to see the end of it.”
Spike snapped his fingers a couple of times to bring the stallion back from his daydream, “we don’t have enough time, so tell us how much it will cost us an armor like that.”
After a couple of mumbling and a shudder, the blacksmith stallion turned to the drake, “oh, yeah right. Wait... do you really want her to wear that?!”
“She doesn’t need it, the armor is just a facade to make her look less weak,” Spike explained.
“Yeah, if it were for him I will be naked all the ti-” Light was then propelled out of the store by a mighty tail stroke. The blacksmith stood agape at the merciless showed by the—seemingly weak—drake and questioned his actions.
“As I said before, she doesn’t need armor,” he stated, a crash sound resonated from afar seconds later, “magic scales, she'll be safe as long as I keep the spell working.
Spike soon found the broken wall where Light had stumbled upon, and the girl itself. He carelessly gave her a chainmail top, “here, at least this will cover up your choice of words in clothes. the thing you wanted would have taken four weeks to make so I went for something more affordable.”
Light looked at the piece of armor and pouted instinctively, she wanted something more revealing.
“Hey, don’t think I'm helping you with this but here is an advice: I don’t care about looks,” he said and then turned around towards town.
As the drake marched forward, Light sighed profusely. She looked up at the end of the wall and shouted, “Any idea pink? because I'm running out of them. you had been a girl for a while so you should have a couple of tricks under your hooves, right?”
“Nope,” the pink mare popped out into existence right at the top of the wall, “most stallions just need to look at my flanks to fall in love with me,” she then hops off to the ground. “By the way, I should’ve told you about Spike not caring for looks-”
“Yet he fell for Rarity.”
“Haven’t you seen the fashion news? even Fluttershy is more beautiful than her.“ Pinkie made a pause and stared at the woman, ”Fluttershy I tell you!”
“... that is a little hypocrite from you to speak at her back,”
“Of course not, she is right there on the wall,” she pointed out to the pegasus, who was mumbling something with an angry look on her face, “how do you think I got there in the first place, you dummy?”
“Oh, well, that makes it… less bad I guess,” Light mumbled before getting on her feet. While looking where Spike was heading she couldn’t help but sigh.
“You can’t give up, Light. there must be a way to Spike’s heart,” Pinkie exclaimed.
"I'm aiming lower first, Pinkie... but easing things for a while may be the best, I don't want to end up being a nuisance for him,” she responded while staring at the distance and putting on her new armor. The piece was a lot less heavy than she thought at first.
“Maybe I just need to know him a little more—Ahg, this thing is itchy… ” she paused and fumbled a little with the armor.
Pinkie’s ears flickered, she turned to Light, and with eagerness to express herself by the way she was jumping, she asked, “wait, Light, what about your mission? if you go back home there is no way Spike could be with you.”
Light scratched the back of her head for a second, humming until she found a solid answer.
“You see, Pinks,” she breathed, her voice turning deeper as she continued, “I have never felled in love for someone back in my world… and this dude even made it possible for me to love... males…” she laughed at herself, “gosh, I even turned myself into a woman… well, who knows?”
She pats Pinkie's mane, a faint smile on her face, “maybe this whole mission is a waste of time... if that's the case then, I’ll probably gonna end up depressed for a couple of months or maybe a year. After all, I’ll lose all that was precious to me...”
Pinkie eyes furrowed down as tears started to swell.
“But, he will be there with me. He will stay by my side until I get better. I know him, that’s the way he is… I… ha, I don’t know what to say, I just love him, ok?” she glanced to Pinkie, who was tearing up hard enough to make a pond of water around her. “ha, ha, how do you even manage to do that? Seriously, you shouldn't have that amount of water inside of you. Not to mention that you ponies get emotional quite easily.”
The mare cleaned her soaked face with a swift swipe and gave an energetic smile to Light, alongside a nudge.
“Go get him tigress!”
