This is Not What I Thought Would Happen When You Said We Would be Playing a Game

Previous Chapter

The hostess chuckled to herself as she snapped her fingers, and three unusual items appeared before everyone. These items were 1980s-style arcade machines, each with an erotic fighting game title. The three games were Succu Fighters, Morsel Kumbat, Tearking. Everyone made a move to get a better look before they were suddenly caught in place by the hostess’s magic. Twilight was particularly interested in the items; she had heard about such artifacts but had never really seen any in person.

After a moment, the hostess said, “Now, we need some volunteers for this next part.” Almost without thinking, Twilight, Rainbow, and Rarity raised their hands and were allowed to approach the arcade machines. Once they were each about a meter or so from each of the machines, the three suddenly got sucked into the machines as if they were playing Jumanji, leaving their attire, weapons, and gear behind. Everyone just gawked for a moment before Brass demanded to know where their friends just went, the hostess began to explain things. “Now that our ‘volunteers’ have entered the game, it’s up to one of their teammates to take control. Each of your teammates is the character you are playing in the game; your job will be to take control of your teammate as your playable character. Each of the six buttons to the left of the joystick will make your character perform a different action, while moving the joystick will move them in the direction you move the stick. You can perform combination attacks by moving the stick and pressing the buttons in different orders and sequences in short succession. You’ll be playing in the campaign mode first; then, after you complete the campaign, you’ll be taking part in 5 multiplayer matches. Don’t worry; your teammates within the game won’t really die, just be really hurt when it’s all over, and once the competition is done, or they die five times in the game, they’ll be returned to you. That said, all losses by your teammate will result in a loss of points. Each victory by your teammate within the game will result in gaining 10 points, but each failure by them will result in the loss of a minimum of 10 points but can be as much as 30 points lost if they lose. Dodging and blocking can, and will, allow you to keep from loss of points. Combination attacks will allow for the earning of accumulated points in a single maneuver. The points you earn through ‘guiding’ your teammate within the game transfer over when it has been completed.”

Everyone else looked around in visible discomfort. Three of their compatriots just disappeared into a set of arcade fighting machines and left their attire behind. This was not the kind of challenge they were used to dealing with.

Looking over at the machines, they could all see Twilight, Rainbow, and Rarity in the nude but slowly getting new outfits layered on each of them. Twilight got a policemare style dominatrix outfit, complete with having her unobscured bosom on full display with nothing over it; in addition, Twilight got a riding crop as a weapon; apparently, Succu Fighters had plans for her. Rainbow got put into a dominatrix-style biker uniform and turned transformed from anthro pony to anthro wolf, while still keeping her iconic colors and mane; all within a setting that looked like a grungy urban setting, not unlike what you would find in games like Double Dragon; from the looks of things, Tearking had plans for her. Rarity ended up gaining muscles, lots of muscles, and by the time she was done expanding, she was three or four times her original size; in all terms, when you were talking about things physically, Rarity also shifted to being a stallion with a rather large member, she looked more like a male brute now than her usual elegant female form; she also ended up in a lacy pink crop top that looked like it was being stretched way too tight but still refused to yield to Rarity’s massive pecs, she also was in a pair of shiny pink “fuck me” high heels and tight pink skirt, a skirt that did nothing to hide her new 15-inch long member that had a good 9 inches of girth; from the looks of things, Morsel Kumbut had plans for her.

After some discussion, the players were chosen for each team. Still, due to the absurdity of everything, nobody for the life of them can remember who took over as the player for each system. As the three ponies inside the game moved along in the games they started to behave more like the characters they were designed to be in the games; more than a few times, Twilight said something about punishing “naughty” girls and boys in a sexually playful manner while cracking the crop on her leg for emphasis, Rainbow made cracks about pack hunting and literally howled with every win, and Rarity talked like a bodybuilder with no life outside a gym and strength competitions, and when Brute Rarity wasn’t making overt comments about her overly large penis in her new masculine voice, she was making cracks about muscles and protein shakes. There were even signs they were forgetting who they were; this prompted the players to try and speed through the campaign modes of the games the three were in; they didn’t care about points; they just wanted their friends out of the game.

Twilight’s player managed to get the most points in the campaign mode, even though they were speeding her through it. After the campaign was finished, the three games entered into fighter vs. mode that had all three fighting against each other, and Brute Rarity won that one. The final match was the 3 versus a giant monstrosity; Rainbow became the MVP for that smackdown (She smacked the monster’s breasts really hard in fast succession). After that, the 3 returned from the games in their natural state with no recollection of the event; Twilight’s team was the overall set of victors. All 3 also had their outfits from the games folded perfectly in their hands.

“Okay, what just happened?” Rainbow inquired with apparent confusion.

“Your team won,” said Jae flatly, but somehow also bombastically, directly to Rainbow. “We do hope you are not put off by this experience. Also, there might be some side effects from the experience for the next few hours; just ignore them for the time being.”

“How about we don’t do that,” said Rarity, “we can barely remember approaching those arcade game machines. It would really help to know what just happened to us.”

“Fine,” said Jae in a snarky tone before saying in a more professional tone, “you can spend the next five to seven minutes discussing what just happened and who will be your next participants.”
