Author's Note

This takes place after Prism ask’s Star to the Wonderbolts show.

Claire’s little chat

The bell to Heathfires Jewelry ringed once more as the door closed on Prism Bolt. Claire immediately turned to Starburst and grinned evilly.

“So Starburst... your first date.” Her grin widened as Star turned red and spread her giant wings.

“No it’s not!” She yelled. Claire raised her eyebrow and Star begrudging nodded.

“Anyways, what are you going to wear? I could help. Mother has multiple gowns that you could borrow, and I can make you a necklace! Now what do you think of the colour-“

“Claire no! Its not a date just bros hanging out! Nothing special. And anyways it’s not like he would date me anyways.” She sighed at the last part, but Claire noticed and came around from the counter.

“Darling you will find someone, but for now be young! Do whatever it want and try not to focus so much on the Royal Guard.” She gave Starburst a quick hug and smiled.

“Thanks Claire. But it’s NOT a date and I am NOT dressing up.” Claire made to protest but Star put one finger up and said a firm ‘no’. Claire gave an exasperated sigh but moved back behind the counter.

“So there must be A guy.”

“Claire there really isn’t! I’m single, without a crush.”

“Come on! You must have a crush. What about those “green eyyeess” that Prism has charmed you with.” Claire smirked again, knowing she had hit something as Starburst cringed and blushed.

“Well he’s handsome, I’ll give him that but his attitude puts me off.”

“Mhmm I get it.”

“I believe he will change though.” Starburst smiled faintly and Claire smiled too.

“Well... give him time.” Star admitted and they both broke into laughter.
