The sound of water rustling gave Twilight a sense of tranquility. Even though she could not see her surroundings she felt so hypnotized and calm. But Twilight felt the acidness yet smoothness of the sand grains. She slowly began to open her eyes but the sand grains rubbed against her fur and eyes. She raised up her hoof to rub her eye but it only made things worse. She looked at the sky, the clouds were a mix of grey and dark grey. The water looked like a bluish-grey. The sand was moist and she felt her hooves sink into the grains like quicksand. She looked around to see the Mane five who were slowly waking up and regaining consciousness. Twilight looked around frantically looking for Starlight. She frowned but Applejack caught onto what vibe Twilight's body language was giving off. She walked towards Twilight and sat next to her. The sound of hoof-steps echoed throughout Twilight and Applejack's ears. They looked behind them and saw The Changeling Queen herself.

"What do you want Chrysalis!" Said Twilight lighting up her horn in a battle stance.

"And where is Starlight!?" Cried out Applejack.

"No need to get aggressive princess," said Chrysalis in a mellow tone. Remorse filled her heart and she felt awful. Twilight realized Chrysalis wasn't here to fight or scream at them she was here because she felt terrible, awful and that something happened to Starlight.

"Chrysalis?" Asked Twilight the aura around her horn soon disappeared and the rest of the Mane Six gathered around Chrysalis.

"Here." These words sent a chill up Twilight's spine. Chrysalis went into a small rock cavern and pulled out a limp Starlight with her mouth. She dragged her across the sand. Her weight left a trail of sand, the sand grains formed a perfect line. "There." Chrysalis ears flattened and she looked away from the colorful horses.

"Starlight?!" Rainbow Dash put a hoof over her mouth. "What did you do to her!" Exclaimed Dash.

"I did nothing, I'm the one who saved you from the flood," said Chrysalis lowering her ears.

"Wait you saved us?!" Exclaimed Pinkie Pie.

"Yes...." Chrysalis glanced over at the ponies, they were just as shocked as she was.

"Why?!" Asked Twilight.

Chrysalis sighed, what she was about to say would either shock Twilight or make her more bitter towards her. "I am an acrimoniousness creature I don't deserve love or praise but I realized I am not sorry for what I've done. I spent years feeding and being there for my children and it was just taken away from me. But I know that they miss me in their own way that they one day will accept me back into the hive but I don't deserve that. I don't blame Starlight and her gang of misfits they were just trying to save you while I was trying to feed my children. I didn’t come here to fight you or give you an ultimatum. I am not sorry for what I did. Just leave me be I will never change and I want to be left alone for the rest of my days or until I come to my senses." The once queen looked at the ponies there jaws dropped and eyes wide open. Chrysalis scowled in embarrassment.

Twilight looked at Chrysalis in fulfillment "Wow, Chrysalis I can't believe that you...."

"Awk, don't give that, I don't need your love nor praise as I said just leave me be before I regret this moment!" Snapped Chrysalis.

"Fair enough Chrysalis, we will let you be," replied Twilight bowing. Chrysalis raised a brow at the princess in confusion but she liked having someone bow to her even if it wasn't her subjects.

Starlight was still lying unconscious on the sand it was barely noticeable that she was breathing. Twilight picked up Starlight and began walking across the barren beach littered with rigid rocks. The rest of the gang followed Twilight. Soon they were on the other side of the beach. Twilight laid Starlight's body on the sand which was now warm and smooth unlike before. The Sun began to peek out of the grey storm clouds, the warm sun rays kissed Starlight's skin lightly, warming her from the inside out.

Applejack pressed her ear up against Starlight's chest feeling the warm sun rays hitting her. "She's breathing all right," said Applejack.

"Oh, Thank Celestia I thought she was a goner!" Exclaimed Rarity.

Starlight slowly began to wake up. Her eyes slowly twitching, small swallow breaths made its way out of her mouth, her hooves slightly twitching. "Twilight~" Starlight slurred her words as if she was drunk but she was just mumbling. Twilight got down on to Starlight's eye level and hugged her even if she wasn't fully conscious yet. Starlight's eyes jolted wide open when she felt Twilight hooves. The Mane Six smiled and they ran to Starlight's aid hugging her tightly.

"Starlight!!" Cried out Twilight tightly squeezing her.

"Twilight?" Starlight felt a wave of nausea overcome her, she rubbed her temple with her hooves. "What happened?" Starlight's eyes widened as she looked around frantically for Chrysalis. "CHRYSALIS! Where is..." Twilight looked at Starlight with stars in her eyes, the sound of Starlight's voice began to fade but she could hear her heartbeat, it got louder and louder. Twilight realized she loved the mare. The thumping of her heart made Twilight anxious and inpatient she wanted to move in. And so she did. It wasn’t like one of those close-mouthed kisses like you do when you’re in eighth grade. The way their lips fit like two puzzle pieces. The way she relented as Twilight played with her mane and held her tighter and tighter. When they broke away from the kiss Starlight looked at Twilight.

"Aw shucks here we go again," said Applejack rolling her eyes.

"Oh, we will just uh leave you guys be," Rainbow Dash began to slowly back up. "Come on girls." The rest of The Mane Six followed Rainbow Dash. They all hid behind a rock in the distant.

"Well, I guess Twilight did indeed have feelings for Starlight!" Said Pinkie Pie.

"Well it was certainly unexpected," Said Rarity.

"Well, it was definitely called for," said Applejack.

"For you," Replied Rarity.

"I mean I have to agree with Applejack here," Said Rainbow Dash

"Come on y'all wasn't it obvious?" Said Applejack.

"Yea," said Rainbow Dash.

"I guess," said Pinkie.

"Not really", said Rarity.

"No", said Fluttershy.

There was some awkward silence for a bit but it was broke by Rainbow Dash. "I remember seeing Twilight and Starlight out at the park having a tea party!"

"Seeing or Spying?" Asked Applejack.

"I was not spying!!" Replied Dash.

"Uh huh like you don't spy on your own fan club!" Exclaimed Applejack.

"Wha- uh I do not spy on Scootaloos fan club!

"Sure ya don't!" Said Applejack rolling her eyes and smirking. The two mares stood face to face growling at each other.

"I don' t mean to ruin this uh moment but how are we going to defeat Grogar? We don't necessarily have a plan I hope you guys haven't forgotten about that?" Said Fluttershy.

Suddenly Twilight appeared on top of the rock alongside Starlight. "Don't worry everypony I have a plan!!!"
