Return of the Earth Defender's 2 Dog's of War

Chapter 9 The only easy day.....was yesterday

After everyone had cleaned up from there fun, all of them had gotten dressed, and prepared for their next mission. By that time, the file's they had recovered on their last mission had been decrypted, and General Wood's had figured out what they has planned. "Alright, thanks to the decrypting of the files you have recovered, we have found out what is on them, and unfortunately it is not good news" General Wood's sighed, as Godzilla gave him his full undivided attention.

"What exactly did you find on the files?" Godzilla asked, before General Wood's spoke up.

"Apparently our enemies, have three cryo stasis chamber's, with three mare's inside. The reason they won't let them out is becasue these three mares are the only ones who have gotten some very inside information of how to get to the heart of enemy territory. These mare's are very vital for our next mission, and more" General Wood's explained, before Twilight Sparkle spoke up.

"How are we going to get there though?" Twilight asked, before General Wood's answered her question.

"We managed to scrounge up part's to make a VTOL for all of you, she has some light weapons, but she'll get the job done, and she's armed with a cloaking device" General Wood's explained, as Twilight gave him a nod in response.

"Since this mission mostly involves stealth only a few of you will be going in. Twilight, you and your team will be going in along with Godzilla, and Anguirus. The only other soldier's of the group we are bringing are Din, Sky Storm, and Red Flare, all of you will help secure the package.....this is your mission, prepare to dis-embark" General Wood's told them, as they all saluted in response. All of them prepared for their next journey, quickly going to the garage to see their weapon's waiting for them.

After the S.W.A.T. truck drove them to the airfield, all of them got out of the truck, and into the VTOL. This time they only heard Spitfire speak up. "Good morning ladies, and gentlemen, strap yourselves in cause we're in for a ride" Spitfire said snarkly, as Rodan only noticed her in the cockpit.

"Where's our co-pilot?" Rodan told her, as Spitfire answered his question.

"Becasue this is a stealth mission, only one pilot is needed to get in, and out.....fortunately for you I just so happen to be the pilot chosen for this mission" Spitfire smiled, as all of them nodded before hearing the aircraft engine come to life, as it took off. The Cursed 6, Godzilla, and Anguirus looked outside, watching all of those eye's see them depart, hanging on to the last shred of hope. Aboard the VTOL the travel was quite a long ride. Both Pinkamena, and Rainbow Dash fell asleep, as Godzilla smiled.

He really couldn't blame them....sometimes these ride's were boring, and honestly he didn't mind. Rarity was typing away on her computer, probably able to figure out where they were going in. Both Applejack, and Twilight inspected there weapons, while Fluttershy let out a small yawn, stretching her arm's into the air. Godzilla could sense the sadness emminating from Cursed 6 Twilight, who held her pistol, closed her eyes, and let a soft tear flow from her eye's.

He couldn't blame her, she was still getting use to this entire war. It was always messy, and personal, that's how it always was for him, especially with the other Earth Defender's. The cloaked VTOL flew through the blizzard like wind, like a lizard slicing through the flesh of the unwary. Finally they had arrived, at what appeared to be a small base, below the face of an icy cliff. The cloaked VTOL stopped, as Cursed 6 Twilight put her pistol in her holster, and rotated one of her hand's. All of them nodded, as the door's opened.

"ALRIGHT, THIS IS IT, LET'S GET OUR PACKAGE!!!!!!!!" Cursed 6 Twilight shouted, over the wind, and rotors.

"DROP, DROP, DROP!!!!!!!!!!!" Spitfire shouted, as all of them skydived out of the vehicle, the wind, and cold smashing against there faces. They plummeted down to the base, while Godzilla sighed. The only easy day.......was yesterday. Both of them managed to land down onto the roof of the base. Godzilla used a low burn from his Atomic Breath to pry open a steel part of the roof, as all of them slipped down, and entered the base.

All of them quickly managed to sneak to there destination, as they all took out some of the guard's that stood in there way. They entered the elevator (which was there primary target) as it traveled down to the intended floor. Thankfully, nobody, but them was using the elevator right now. The elevator soon got to it's destination, as it opened up revealing the guard's. Twilight knocked one of the guard's out cold, while Applejack did the same with her rifle.

Applejack began to open fire on the multiple guard's, while Pinkamena ran at one of the guard's with full fury. Using her curved knives, she lept upward, and sliced his head off. Fluttershy used her brass knuckles to beat the living daylights out of one of the guard's, leaving him a bleeding mess. Both of them arrived at the containment area holding the three cryo stasis chamber's. Pinkamena began to bounce in place, waiting impatiently to get to the prizes. Rarity rolled her eye's, and groaned loudly before disabling the high tech security door's.

They heard the laugh of one of the wounded guard's, as he coughed up blood. "Hahahaha, you won't get out with the prize alive, we've been expecting your arrival, and none of you won't........." Before he could finish his sentence, he felt Godzilla sharp toe claw's get shoved into his neck, as his word's were silenced. Godzilla let out a cold snarl, before speaking.

"Shut up" Godzilla grumbled, before leaving the
body, and looking at the prized chamber's, along with Anguirus, Din, Sky Storm, and Red Flare. Pinkamena then peered into the glass window, as she looked inside, seeing the cryo stasis chamber's. Inside the chamber's were three mare's.....Moondancer, Lightning Dust, and Coco Pommel. Cursed 6 Twilight gasped, as she looked into the cryo stasis.

"M-Moondancer, b-but how is she still alive, I thought she........" Twilight stammered, before Godzilla interrupted her.

"Yes you saw it, I can barely smell it, but these are dimensional doppelganger's, from another Anthro Equestria" Godzilla explained, before Din spoke up.

"That Moondancer is my marefriend, probably the reason why Wood's wanted me to get her out of here" Din sighed, before a small electronic ball moved in. All of their bodies began shaking with pain, causing them to crash to the ground. Twilight, and Godzilla could here the sound of two ponies approaching, as Twilight saw them approach.

"Well, well too bad for you Twilight, so close to our prize, and yet not able to pull it off. I was told to watch out for all of you" a female voice spoke.

"C-Cadence.......S-Shining Armor.....w-what" Twilight stammered, as Godzilla let out a snarl trying to get up, but still on the ground, now facing them.

"You smell of Alien Armada dog's, your not dimensional doppleganger's, your clone's.... evil clone's, with your own type of magic" Godzilla cursed in disgust, as the Evil Cadence clone cackled, before setting Twilight's pistol down as she was still trying to raise the weapon.

"So tell me, are you going to harm me now?" Cadence cooed softly, as Twilight's stare went from shock to hatred.

"FUCK.......YOU........BITCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Twilight snarled, as Cadence laughed in response, while Shining Armor approached Twilight. He was going to knock her out, and take them all prisoner. Godzilla knew he couldn't let there mission fail, not here as he did his best to fight the elemental, disruptor's power's. His body slowly began to glow blue. He growled, and snarled, before drawing thousand's of lighting bolt's from within the building.

Both Cadence, and Shining Armor had a look of horror on there faces, as they saw Godzilla charging up with as much power as he could. He let out a thundering roar, as the power unleashed, destroying the elemental disruptor (the metal sphere, that was dampening there power's). The charge became more powerful than ever, as it destroyed the cryo stasis sleeping control's, disabled the base, and it's light's. All of them were blown back by the blast, as the Evil clone of Shining Armor, began to crawl up to Cadence. He checked her body, as he was relieved that she was still alive.

"Cady, are you alright?" The clone spoke, as Cadence clone nodded.

"I think so, quickly the subject's, are free and so are our new prisoner's, we need to secure them......NOW!!!!!!!!" Cadence shouted, as the base was black, the siren's blaring loud, and clear.

"Where are the light's?" Shining Armor, asked as he looked around in the dark inky blackness, as they both tried to look around the place. The room itself, then began to light up as Godzilla's dorsal plates, began to glow bright blue. Everyone in the room began hearing the whir of his Atomic Breath being charged up. The Shining Armor clone, shoved the Cadence clone out of the way, as Godzilla's Atomic Breath vaporized the Shining Armor clone. After taking care of the first clone, Godzilla grabbed Cadence, and threw her through huge pound's of steel, as she landed in the hard snow outside.

Godzilla leaped out of the base, breaking the roof, as the light's of the base turned back on. Din saw the other's awakened, as Moondancer quickly rushed over to him, and kissed him passionetly. Din soon let go, as Moondancer stared into his eye's. "Din, how I have long wished, to kiss those Dragon lip's again" Moondancer cooed softly, as Din sighed happily.

"I missed you, Moondancer, I'm very happy to see you again" Din smiled, as he hugged Moondancer, while Lightning Dust looked at Rainbow Dash.

"Rainbow Dash is that you?" Lightning Dust asked. Before anyone could speak, Twilight Sparkle spoke up.

"We'll have to have introduction's later, right now we need to get to the extraction point, while Godzilla, distract's the clone" Twilight Sparkle told them, as they all nodded. They managed to find the elevator to get them all outside of the base, and to the extraction point.

The evil Cadence clone, began to pick herself off the snow ground, spitting blood out of her mouth. Godzilla launched himself upward, landing onto the snow, confronting her. "Hmmf....it seem's there's more to you than I originally thought, no wonder you gave the other's a run for their money, well don't worry I have more than enough magic to........" The Cadence clone was cut off, when a loud slicing sound was heard, as blood sprayed from her cheek. Godzilla was on the opposite side of her, as he felt the clone's warm blood on his claw's.

"I'm sorry, I couldn't hear you over the sound of me slicing your face, you know for a clone you talk too much, care to repeat your previous comment?" Godzilla asked with a hint of sarcasm in his voice. Evil Cadence let out a growl, as she tried to fire her magic, but Godzilla managed to take her magical attack's, and continue slicing his claws at her. The Cadence clone had a panicked expression on her face, as she did her best to block his attacks, but found herself being overwhelmed really quickly.

Godzilla broke through her block's, as he knocked her back into the base, as she groaned in pain. Godzilla let out a roar of intimidation, to taunt his opponent to do better. The Cadence clone used her most powerful magic, as she fired them at Godzilla. Godzilla took the attack's full force, as it only made him stagger back. Godzilla then used his new evolved power, magically draining the strength from her body, and adding it to his own. He then used a very powerful punch, as a vomiting scream was heard as she crashed into the side of the cliff.

The Cadence clone was on her knees, blood gushing from her mouth, while her chest, and wing's were covered in blood. Her vision was blurred, and one of her eye's was swollen shut. Godzilla approached the clone with ease, the magical attacks only leaving small singe mark's which his healing factor healed. Godzilla had sustained no wound's, as he looked down at his opponent.
"W......what are you?" The clone asked, as she knew her death was imminent. Godzilla picked the clone up, looking her dead into the eye's, as his dorsal plates began to glow, his Atomic Breath whirring to life.

"I'm the King of Monster's bitch" Godzilla snarled, before his Atomic Breath finally reached full charge, and he unleashed it. The blast vaporized the helpless Alicorn clone, hearing it's dying scream's fading into the wind, as he scoffed. "Puny goddess" Godzilla spat in disgust, before seeing the other's come out with the three mare's that were in stasis. They all heard the sound of rotor's approaching, as their VTOL touched down, with Spitfire at the helm.

"You guys miss me?" Spitfire asked softly before having a little giggle. All of them entered the aircraft before slowly leaving the base. Godzilla used his Atomic Breath to quickly destroy the rest of the base, as he smiled.

"That's one for the book's" Godzilla smiled, as the Cursed 6, Godzilla, Anguirus, the soldier's, and the three new mare's all began to fly away in the VTOL heading back to the base.

When the VTOL, finally touched down at there base, all of them exited the vehicle, as they both went into the S.W.A.T. truck's. After arriving back at the base itself, all of them went to know of there success. Godzilla told General Wood's, about the Equestrian clone's, and the Elemental Disruptor's that were used against him, as General Wood's nodded. "It seem's our enemies, have heard you guys are back, and they must really want you dead, to make those weapon's. They're making you know, that they aren't messing around" General Wood's, said as Godzilla scoffed.

"With how we took care of the base, and the clone's, I think we've proven that we aren't messing around either" Godzilla told them, as General Wood's nodded.

"Indeed, there now going to make sure, you don't survive your next mission. I would be careful if I were you, who know's what are our enemies will have for us" General Wood's told them, before he sighed. Lightning Dust, Moondancer, and Coco Pommel looked like, they were wanting to speak, but General Wood's stopped them. "I think it's best if all of you wait on debriefing me, I think it will be best for the mission if they have there guard lowered. We are close to getting to our enemies, and that is what matter's, so for now all of you take some time off....that's, and order" General Wood's explained, as all of them saluted.

"SIR YES SIR!!!!!!!!!!!!" They all shouted before heading off, and deciding what to do next.
