Chapter 3 The Desert Fox

The huge sun, had risen above the desert ridge. A giant pyramid like base, was the target of the so called heroes, who had prepared for battle. The time itself had come, and they could only wait for so long. While one of the guard's managed to get himself near a small spot, away from the group, unknowingly approaching his hidden intruder's. He took a sip of water, as he drank the re-freshing water, and closed his eye's enjoying the taste. Their was a silent sound before, a bullet went through the bottom of the water bottle, and into the man's skull.

Warm blood began to flow from his head, as the water bottle fell from his hand, falling to the ground dead, before being dragged by one of the Earth Defender's under a small Humvy. Almost three thousands yard's out on a giant sandy hill, Cursed 6 Pinkamena cocked the suppressed sniper rifle, while keeping watch on the patrol's. "Nice shot" Baragon smiled, as he layed next to his wife on the flat sand. Both of them hidden from view, watching the patrol's with a pair of binoculars.

"Hee hee, thanks babe" Cursed 6 Pinkamena winked, at Baragon before getting back to the task at hand. Not to far from behind them, was none other than Midnight Flight who was also watching with his binocular's, while also keeping a sword with him. He had asked a few question's to pass the time at sunrise, when he could.

"So let me get this straight.....both of you are married.....to each other?" Midnight Flight asked, as Cursed 6 Pinkamena giggled in response.

"Make that happily married, soldier" Pinkamena smiled, before Baragon pointed, and whispered to her someone to take out. Pinkamena fired the sniper rifle again, adding another lone guard to her list of victim's. Midnight Flight, mostly turned his attention to continue looking at both Pinkamena, and Baragon, before nodding.

"The way both of you look side by side.....I can totally see that" He smiled, as Baragon stopped looking through his binocular's, and handed it to Midnight Flight before grabbing the stallion's sword.

"Here let me borrow that......" Baragon smiled, before turning his attention around, and throwing it at an enemy patrolling solider, who had discovered them. The enemy soldier split in half, by Baragon's suprise attack. He picked up the long serated curved, machete, and handed it back to the stallion, before taking back his binocular's. "Keep an eye on our six newbie" Baragon grumbled, as Pinkamena gave him a coo.

"Good save, my sexy husband" She growled, as Baragon began looking through the binoculars once more.

"Just making sure I help get everyone home in one piece" Baragon winked, before looking back through the binocular's. "Perfect, we've got them right where we want them, Pinkamena, you know what to do" Baragon told her, as Pinkamena opened a channel to her teammates.

"This is Recon 1, the first phase is completed, most of the guard's have been lightened up around the complex" Pinkamena whispered, before getting a reply back.

"This is Spike the Dragon, we copy, moving into position for phase two of the plan" Spike announced over the channel, as on a small part of the sand dune's, Spike, Rarity, Din, Angurius, Rodan, Applejack, Skystorm, and Fluttershy were behind a huge rock that was close to the base that left them almost unnoticed. They quietly took out two more guard's, that had gotten close to their hiding spot, as both of them stayed hidden. Spike smiled, as he quickly opened a channel to Godzilla. "Godzilla were in postion phase two is secure" Spike whispered.

Hidden inside the compound itself was, Godzilla, Mothra, Vinyl, Twilight Sparkle, and Red Flare. "Copy Spike were in position, and in our hiding spot's planting, the C4 on escape vehicles.....stand by" Godzilla whispered, as all of them crawled to there seperate positions, before getting away with their plan's. Red Flare exchanged some whispering, but mostly stayed silent, as to not give away their hiding spot's. "Team 4, this is Godzilla, are you ready?" Godzilla asked, before hearing Rainbow Dash replied.

"We've got the rocket launcher's, and are waiting your order's let me know when your done" Rainbow Dash whispered, while Godzilla nodded. Rainbow Dash was with Sarr, Stormdust, Charmy Glow, and Sky Stinger. "On Godzilla's signal ok?" Rainbow Dash whispered, while the other soldier's gave her a nod. A few second's of silence mostly took place, before Godzilla spoke.

"Vinyl, Do it!!!!!!!" Godzilla whispered, as Vinyl cracked a huge smile on her face.

"Ka-boom" She whispered, before triggering the detination sequence, causing many light vehicles to explode. The destruction caused multiple enemies to panic, and all the guard's to scramble outside while the alarm blared loudly.

"NOW, GO, GO, GO, GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Godzilla shouted, as he lifted the entire vehicle that all of them were hiding under, and threw it at the inner wall of the base. Godzilla's Atomic Breath lit up once more as he began spraying the entire area, destroying everything in his path, while continuing his assault. Twilight Sparkle, and the other's charged at their enemies with their weapons firing at full blaze. Twilight Sparkle fired her pistol, and killed many of her enemies, as she tackled a human, and slammed him into the ground. She planted her boot on top of him, before shooting him 9 time's in the head at point blank range.

She quickly reloaded a fresh clip into her Rk5 pistol, before taking off, and shooting her enemies from afar, with precise acurracy. Vinyl slid downward onto the ground, firing a double barrel shotgun at her enemies as she blew most of their head's out, and even shot a few soldier's in the crotch with it, before killing them with powerful shots. At the exact same time, Angurius rolled into a wrecking ball of death, before charging straight into the small base wall, as Spike's team charged in, unleashing everything.

The two Dragon's blew their hot fire breath's, as they continued to go after their opponent's. Rarity pulled out the technician weapon she had, and fired the special grenades from her technician grenade launcher. She destroyed many of the vehicle's, and equipment within the compound. None of the troop's were being successful into getting into a tank, or an aircraft as The Earth Defender's, the Cursed 6, and their other soldier's had caught the entire base completely off guard. Rarity spotted two troop's firing at her, but she quickly dove, and blew them to bit's.

Applejack, and Fluttershy managed to dodge their attacker's, before Fluttershy used her brass knuckles to tackle two soldier's, and beat them to death. Taking out her Man-of-war assault rifle, Fluttershy killed as many of her enemies, as possible with her gun. Applejack did the same thing, unloading her entire Vesper Assault Rifle ammo as she began to fight all of them off. Applejack, and Fluttershy quickly reloaded, a fresh clip into their weapon's before taking out more of their enemies.

At this point, Pinkamena, Baragon, and Midnight Flight charged at their oppenent's, as Baragon vanished beneath the sand. He made the entire wall in front of him explode, as all of them charged in. Pinkamena began firing the shot's of her sniper rifle like crazy, as she quick scoped many of the soldier's ahead. Baragon had emerged from the sand while firing his fire breath, along with Mothra using his Rainbow Laser, and Rodan speed attacking everything.

Pinkamena saw many soldier's ahead as she pulled out her two caravan knive's, and sprinted at her enemies with full speed, dodging the bullet's that came across her. She was dodging left, and right, before jumping on top of them, and slicing their head's off, or stabbing their neck's open. She had blood sprayed on her, but that didn't matter.....she had to kill her opponent's, because this was war. Rainbow Dash, charged in from the left side, with the other newbie soldier's, as all of them began firing there gun's madly.

Rainbow Dash launched massive vollies of rocket's out of her rocket launcher, firing at their vehicle's before turning her attention to the enemy troop's. They had completely took the enemy by suprised, and their squad was too overwhelming. They both went inside the desert base, killing anyone who would stand in there way, before coming to a stop. After their work was done, all of them sighed. "CLEAR!!!!!!" Godzilla asked, as tje others shouted the same word. "Rarity get the intelligence we need from this base" Godzilla ordered, as Rarity nodded.

"Got it" She nodded, before pulling out the laptop she was given, and using it to hack, and download the files they needed to recover. Cursed 6 Pinkamena, was rocking her body back, and forth, waiting for them to be finished, and to continue on with their mission. Finally Cursed 6 Rarity smiled, seeing they had acquired what they had recieved."Alright, I've got the intelligence, and it looks like this only answer's a few of our question's" She told them, as Godzilla nodded.

"Midnight, set the massive charge's we need to bury this entire place into the sand" Godzilla told him, as Midnight smiled.

"On it" He smiled, before all of them placed the charges inside the base. After all the charges were placed, Godzilla gave Rodan the nod, before he opened the channel.

"Hey baby, we've got what we came for, still need you to come pick me up" He grinned, as he could tell his wife was rolling her eye's on the other end.

"Oh, Ha, Ha, very funny, we've got your signal, and are in your airspace, Eta 60 second's" She told him over the com-link.

"Well you heard the mare, let's get to our extraction" Godzilla smiled, before all of them exited out of the enemy base, relieved that they had completed their first mission. Other than Cursed 6 Fluttershy, and Cursed 6 Pinkamena, the rest of the Cursed 6 looked kind of down. Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, and Rarity had looked around, having mixed feeling's. All of them ended up going outside, and threw up. All of them started off, by being kind, and happy to other creature's, mostly defeating their enemies harmlessly, but this.....this was different.

All of them had actually killed people, who were fighting them. All of them took a breather, as Godzilla went outside, and looked at them. "Are all of you okay?" Godzilla asked, as they panted in response.

"T-this is h-horrible.....w-we.......we......" Twilight stammered, as he rested her head on his shoulder.

"I know Twilight, but I told you all this is what a war really is like. There's bodies, killing, and sometimes the loss of your own comrades. A war is never easy, it's always messy, and personal, even when it come's to fighting with friend's. Don't think of the people you kill, think about what your doing for you friend's. If you want, I can send the four of you back to your Equestria, when we get back to base" Godzilla told her before, Twilight spoke up.

"No, I'm okay, it's just.....going to take some time to get used to it" She shuddered, before Applejack, Rainbow Dash, and Rarity stood up, giving him the expression of agreeing with Twilight. Soon the other's came out of the base, as their C17 touched down in front of them, as they smiled, and got onboard. Godzilla clicked the button on the detonater, before seeing the desert base they saw explode, and the inner part of the base getting swallowed by the sand. Their sky vehicle cloaked, leaving American airspace, and heading back to Tokyo.

After touching back down, at the airfield, and all of then taking two different S.W.A.T. truck's back to the base. They all climbed out of the vehicles, and entered the briefing room with Genral Wood's, as he smiled. "Report, soldier's" General Wood's asked, as Rarity showed him the intellegence, as she began her explanation.

"The Intel we captured suggest's your hint, of the Alien's controlling the military government is mostly true. It seem's all of them were using Afghanistan as a weapon's storehouse, and intel from the inside suggest's that we have it. There are still many hole's in that theory, one that suggest's us gathering more intelligence" Rarity explained, as Wood's let out a slow whistle.

"You all did good, and this help's us with being able to construct more of our vehicles, than our are shortage. Good work, all of you did well, for your first mission" Wood's chuckled, as Godzilla smiled. "Godzilla will let you know of our next mission, Godzilla do you have anyway to help us with the next plan?" Wood's asked.

"Sure thing, Applejack, think you can stay with us, to monitor some thing's?" Godzilla asked, while Applejack chuckled.

"I'm not really the best at planning mission's, but Ah suppose Ah can stay, until you notify the other's" Applejack smiled, as Godzilla nodded.

"That's good, as for the rest of you, all of you can take some time off at the base, until I notify you" Godzilla told them, as all of them saluted, with a nod, before taking off to have the little fun that they could.
