Chapter 5 Welcome to the Jungle

All of them got up the next morning, washing themselves off, and preparing themselves for what lied ahead. All of them managed to re-suit up (except the Kaiju) before reporting to the briefing room for their next mission. After they entered the briefing room itself, they noticed a surprising mare, that Rainbow Dash instantly recognized. "DARING DO!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?" Cursed 6 Rainbow Dash shouted, as Daring Do chuckled.

"Good to see you Dashie, although I really wasn't expecting to be in such a place" Daring Do chuckled back, before Wood's spoke.

"Allright, Godzilla fetched Daring Do yesterday for an important measure's. Daring Do is going to deliver an artifact to some of our militia, who are deep in enemy territory of the Amazon jungle. For year's, we have supported this militia to help our benefits, and this artifact is what they need to turn some of the tide of war into our favor, except there's one problem......." Wood's explained before Godzilla spoke up.

".....Due to how thick the Jungle itself is, its too difficult to navigate by air, which mean's that the only way were going to get the artifact to it's transport, is by ground. Just outside of the Amazon Jungle, our contracter has a heavily armed truck that will help deliver the package. In order for us to get to the buyer however, Spitfire, and Vapor Trail will be dropping us downward into the village, at a height of 5,000 meter's. Since it's a long flight, all of will arrive at night time, so prep your gear, and move out" Godzilla explained, as all of them saluted, before getting ready.

The S.W.A.T. vehicle slowly began to roll down to the area it needed to be, as it planned on reaching it's destination. The Earth Defender's, the Cursed 6, and the other soldier's all prepared for combat, while Daring Do also armed herself with a normal shotgun. This was just in case they came into contact with their enemy. The S.W.A.T. truck was led through the checkpoint, while Vapor Trail, and Spitfire both got into the aircraft vehicle itself, ready for launch. The door's to the vehicle soon opened, as all of them entered the C17 Winged Mammoth.

The sound of the rotor's spinning in action was heard, as all of them watched the aircraft begin to fly into the sky. All of them watched the door's close, hoping for there second mission to be accomplished, with all of them making it out alive. The winged aircraft, soon activated it's cloaking device, as it snuck through enemy line's. The vehicle itself, began to continue getting closer to where they all wanted to go. Pinkamena, and Rainbow Dash, took a small nap, to be fully energized when there mission began.

Soon, the C17 halted in the air, before all of them saw the door's on the aircraft open. "ALRIGHT THIS IS AS FAR AS I CAN BRING ALL OF YOU, I'LL TRY TO COME DOWN TO THE GROUND, TO RETRIEVE YOU, BUT NO PROMISES!!!!!!!!!" Spitfire shouted, before Godzilla spoke up.

"THAT'S OKAY SPITFIRE WE'LL TAKE IT FROM HERE, ALRIGHT......3.......2......1...........DROP, DROP, DROP!!!!!!!!!!!" Godzilla shouted, as all of them jumped from the huge aircraft, feeling the midnight air, flow at their face's as all of them skydived downward to a small village. Silently, and stealthily, all of them jumped down to the small village, before sneaking away, hiding the parachutes that was clipped to there back's. After quietly looking around, a man motioned all of them forward, before bringing them inside a secret warehouse.

"Did Wood's send you?" The man asked.

"Indeed" Godzilla whispered, as the man turned on a light revealing himself.

"I'm General Alex Mason, Wood's is a friend of mine, he told me you'd help me with my militia, think you can pull off guarding the device?" Mason asked.

"Indeed, here" Daring Do motioned, before secretly taking out the statue, and giving it to Mason, who inspected, and smiled.

"Alright, we'll load thing's up, but right now, all of you can rest in our guest bunk bed's, we leave at dawn" Mason told them, as Godzilla nodded.

"Got it, we'll make sure to follow the plan's, and position's for our convoy guard tommorow" Godzilla told him, while Mason nodded. All of them soon went to there guest quarter's, and got some rest, while staying hidden for the night.

The huge convoy truck drove through the dense, hard Amazon jungle. One had to be especially careful during there routes to the location they were destined to go. The truck itself was unlike anything that had ever been seen before. It looked like a pickup, except it was carrying cargo like it was a train. Suprisingly it was able to drive through the dense jungle, it's huge sawblades cutting through the few tree's it needed to cut, in order to continue along it's path.

Everyone was inside, and it was almost mid-day, as all of them protected the cargo fort of the private militia. Inside Godzilla wondered, when their enemies would try to attack the truck itself, in pursuit of their precious cargo. None of them didn't have to wait long, before a few dirt bike's along with a few small jeep's (which represented Warthog's) began to drive toward the truck itself. The dirt bike's quickly surrounded both side's of the truck, staying along the huge jungle dirt road, as all of them pulled out there own type of fusion cutter's to cut through the door's, and get to prize inside.

To their surprise, the side door opened, as Pinkamena grinned, while manning a machine gun turret. She began to open fire, along with Twilight, and a few other's defending the side. Baragon acted, as a personal flamethrower, keeping the enemies at bay, and protecting the cargo they had. The enemy soldier's were practically torn to shred's by the amount of weaponry that was defending the left side. The other dirt bike's began to go to the right side of the truck, only to be met by more machine gun fire, and Anguirus crushing them in a single blow.

The jeep's the enemies used, began to drive toward the back of the cargo trailer, only for the rear door to be kicked opened, with Rainbow Dash, and Rodan at the back of the door. "Suprise Motherfucker" Rainbow Dash grinned, before firing her massive rocket launcher, as she began blowing the jeep's to bit's. More, and more enemy soldier's (on dirt bike's, and jeep's), began to do there best to stop the truck, or get to the cargo. All of them fought them off, with more difficult wave's, and wave's of enemies coming at them.

"THERE'S TOO MANY!!!!!!!!!!" Rainbow Dash shouted from the back, firing, as many Rocket's from her rocket launcher, as much as she could. Godzilla found the cargo he was going to deliver. He picked up a small crate, that had both the artifact, along with other thing's in it. Silently he replaced the crate, with another that bared the same logo on it. With that, he launched himself out the back of the truck, and smashed a jeep, before getting into another one, and knocking the enemies off of it.

The Earth Defenders, Cursed 6, and all the other soldier's, got in similar jeep's, as they defended the truck to the best of there abilities. A little while later, all of them drove away, and halted a few bit's off the Jungle road. The enemy soldier's took the bait, going inside the truck, and finding the cargo crate inside. However the crate itself exploded, killing many other's, but still leaving a few alive. The truck began to turn.....crashing, and burning, while rolling on it's side with the enemy soldier's inside of it.

Godzilla watched as the truck came to a stop on a small sandy opening, as some of the enemy soldier's that lived, began to crawl out of the truck. Godzilla smiled as one of the enemy soldier's saw, a small red ant crawl up on his arm, and bite him. He flinged the small bug off, only for millions of more Amazon Killer ant's to erupt from ground itself. Thousand's of the tiny little bug's, were swarming, and aggressively eating their prey inside the downed truck. The ant's were eagerly having the meal, that disturbed there underground home.

The Earth Defender's, the Cursed 6, and the soldier's were far out of the ant's reach, but didn't feel like sticking around for too long. All of them began to drive the cargo crate to the destination. Godzilla looked back, and sighed, before speaking. "Well our enemies.........Welcome to the Jungle" Godzilla chuckled, before hearing a song play in his mind.

All of them managed to make it to the militia camp, as they had managed to gather the huge crate that they saved. However they did more than just bring the statue, as the militia solider's cheered, while the Earth Defender's handed out the little food, water, and ammunitation for the small militia. There were families, little kid's, and even very young kid's that were early joining to fight the militia. Fluttershy watched in awe, as she saw Angurius bend down, playing with the kid's, rewarding them with hug's, and just caring for them.

Fluttershy saw this, and felt her heart feel warmer with every beat. The kid's didn't seem afraid of him, they just laughed, held his claw's, and had fun. She felt a warm smile come across her face, as all of them finished up their round's. "Well that's all we could get, sorry we weren't able to save more of the crates which would have more supplies" Godzilla told them, as the militia man nodded.

"No worries, since Alex is able to sneak a few bag's of bread with our meal's, we'll be able to at least last, as little longer. Plus some of the enemies you stopped, helped us grabbed different type's of gun animation, which our researchers can use to convert into more ammunition for our gun's" The militia leader nodded saluting them.

"Well, thanks for calling us, this will bring us closer to where we need to go, do any of you have any intel we can use?" Godzilla asked, while the militia leader smiled, handing him a DSM.

"Here this was all the info we can scrounge up" The militia leader smiled, handing it over, as Godzilla looked at Cursed 6 Rarity.

"Think you can decipher the code's on this when we get back?" Godzilla asked, while Rarity chuckled.

"I should be able to decipher these code's when I'm done, it should be able to help us find out more of what is really going on" Rarity told him, as she grabbed the DSM, and stuffed it in the small duffel bag she carried with her computer.

"Alright were done here, let's head to the extraction" Godzilla ordered, as the Earth Defender's, the Cursed 6, and the small squad of soldier's, along with Daring Do, got back into the jeep's, and drove all the way back to village. The village was practically crawling with enemy troop's, which was odd considering they were more on guard than last time. Godzilla gave Rodan a nod as he opened a small channel, getting a communication out.

"Spitfire, this is Rodan, were all, at the extraction point, waiting for your arrival over?" Rodan asked, as Spitfire replied on the other side of the channel.

"Got it, were entering your airspace, be ready it's going to be a little hot" Spitfire replied on the channel, as all of them stayed low, and waited to be picked up. While waiting for their ride, Fluttershy gave Anguirus a calm, and caring look before she spoke.

"You looked so cute, when you treated those kid's" Fluttershy smiled, as Anguirus grinned before giving her a passionate look.

"Well I married, the most kindest, and beautiful pegasaus, I've ever met, I'd like to say that you rubbed off on me" Anguirus smiled, as Fluttershy had a warm blush on her cheek's. They soon heard the C17 Winged Mammoth, land in front of them, as all of them got inside before the aircraft vehicle began to take off, from the Jungle.

"Alright, everything is on aboard, and......." Spitfire stated, before the entire vessel shook violently, as a sound of smashed metal was heard. The alarm's on the C17 Winged Mammoth blared loudly, as it began to spin out of control, everyone hanging on for dear life. The hatch had been shattered open, and Daring Do, almost fell out of the entire aircraft, and would have died. Hower Stormdust grabbed her, and pulled back inside the military vehicle, saving her life.

"You alright?" Stormdust asked, as she nodded. The C17 Winged Mammoth itself was still spinning out of control.

"I LOST ONE OF THE ROTOR'S, AND I CAN'T MAINTAIN, OUR DISTANCE......DEADLY'S GOING IN HARD!!!!!!!!!!" Spitfire shouted, as all of them held on to the inside of the Aircraft, while Godzilla used his power's to keep then alive, before everything went black. Time had passed as all of them began to wake up from the crash, hearing the sound's of the Jungle outside. Thanks to Godzilla, everyone survived the crash, especially the pilot, and co-pilot.

All of them slowly, crawled out of the destroyed C17 Winged Mammoth as they saw the cloaking device was mostly damaged, but still intact which they grabbed. Mothra quickly checked the damage of the Aircraft before Godzilla sighed. "Mothra, report what hit us?" Godzilla asked, before Mothra answered.

"Someone had an RPG, an American one, whatever is on the DSM, it's more valuable to them than we thought, if there willing to shoot us down" Mothra answered, before hearing multiple voices far off in the distance.

"We'd better get moving before they catch up to us, and find the wreck" Godzilla told them, as all of then vanished into the jungle, as a group. They walked under the huge rain, trying to find mean's of where they were going. Godzilla used his super senses, before hearing something else.

"They practically have an army of search parties, there is defiently something very valuable on this DSM, that they do not want us to have" Godzilla told them, before Rarity spoke up, holding the DSM.

"It's still intact, although I'm starting to get curious of, what is on it, and how are we going to get back to base?" Rarity asked, before Godzilla spoke up.

"We'll come across something that will help us.....hopefully" Godzilla smiled, while all of them continued to walk through the rainy forest, before coming across a very odd discovery. They saw a rather huge, but by Godzilla's guess a very deep swamp. What was in the middle of it, was an object, that didn't move. It looked white, almost super rusty, as all of them noticed the strange thing.

"What is that?" Mothra asked, stating at the object.

"I'll go investigate, it may be helpful" Godzilla smiled, before traveling to the center of the swamp, seeing the giant rusted right triangle. He placed one hand on the triangle only to find huge resistance on the other side. Godzilla grabbed the item with both his claw's as he easily dragged the entire heavy object out of the swamp. His teammates, gasp, and positioned themselves safely from the huge area. All of them stared by suprise, at the four propeller engine plane, that looked to be abandoned.

"WHOOOAAA!!!!!" All of them said in awe, standing, and staring at the awestruck aircraft, that would technically seem ancient.

"It's a B-17 Bomber, look's like she crash landed hear in this secret swamp, and sank beneath it" Godzilla told them, as the Cursed 6, the pony soldier's, and Daring Do gave him an odd look.

"What's a B-17 Bomber?" Twilight asked, before Mothra spoke to both of them.

"A B-17 Bomber, was a flying fortress bomber plane that was flown during the final day's of World War 2, before Godzilla's awakening. These bomber's, had a bombing bay, a tail AA machine gun, two side AA Machine gun, two ball turret machine gun's, on both the top, and bottom of the plane, she had a lot of armor, and was very hard to destroy, unless you were a very skilled pilot" Mothra explained, as all of them stared at the vessel.

"To bad she can't fly us home, time has done her in, she's only a relic now" Daring Do sighed, before an idea clicked into Mothra's mind, as Godzilla stared at him.

"Mothra what are you thinking?" Godzilla asked, while Mothra began to study the aircraft.

"Godzilla, do your think if we both combine, a small amount of our power's to restore this B-17, do you think it could get us home?" Mothra asked, as Godzilla stared at the aircraft, and smiled.

"Maybe, but the problem is fuel. This vehicle has a lot of tank's, and the fuel from our downed C17 Winged Mammoth, can only fill up a quarter of this beauty, and that's including if any of the left over fuel tank's survived" Godzilla told them, before Spitfire pulled up, a map of the region. She studied most of the map, before coming to a conclusion.

"A quarter of a tank, will have us land in the ocean, don't think that's wise" Spitfire told him, as Godzilla began to think it through, before coming up with an answer.

"Their could be enemy vehicles swarming the crash site, if we get the chance, we can seize the small jeep's they have, and transfer the fuel over to her, that way we have much more of a chance" Godzilla explained, before all of them nodded. They all quietly retraced their step's, coming across the wreck of their C17 Winged Mammoth. To their suprise, and luck there was a rather small couple of jeep's, as well as a Rocket Truck, making them smile. They quickly, and effiecently snuck, in and attacked their enemies from all different side's, luckily managing to seize the aircraft, and vehicles.

Spitfire, and Vapor Trail, both began to look inside the downed C17 Winged Mammoth. They could only find two, to three canister's of gasoline, before dragging all of the vehicle's back to the old B17 Bomber. After they got the vehicle's, and Gasoline, Rodan quickly used his flight super speed, and managed to burn a runway for the B17 bomber. After all of them were ready, both Mothra, and Godzilla held there claws, and wings like brother's, letting their eye's shut when a magical energy escaped, and restored the old rusty B17 new, and ready to fly.

The gun's were fully loaded, as the plane was ready for take-off, except needing fuel. Both of them operated on the B17, quickly fueling It up, as all of them soon scrambled inside. Pinkie Pie manned the tail gun, while Twilight, manned the top ball turret. Rarity waited for take off, to get in the bottom ball turret. Rainbow Dash, and Applejack, manned the side machine gun's while the other's soldier's, and Earth Defender's either supported, or sat in one of the bombing seat's.

"HOW MUCH FUEL DID WE FILL UP!?!?!?!?!?!?" Godzilla asked, before Spitfire shouted her reply.

"ALMOST ALL FULL EXCEPT FOR ONE TANK, IT SHOULD BE ENOUGH TO GET US HOME!!!!!!!" Spitfire shouted, as Godzilla nodded.

"Fire it up" He told her, as all propeller's made a loud popping sound alerting the other enemy search parties. The four propellers began to spin, as Spitfire growled, taking the very big fat bomber off the ground, and into the sky. All of them looked down below to see some of the search parties, racing fast as they could, back to the village.

"THEY MUST BE GOING TO RADIO FOR AIR SUPPORT!!!!!!!!" Spitfire shouted, as Godzilla growled.

"LET'S GET GONE, EVEYBODY ELSE MAN YOUR GUN'S.....WE'RE GOING TO HAVE COMPANY!!!!!!!!" Godzilla shouted, as Rarity finally entered the bottom ball turret, strapping herself in. All of them looked around in their position's, wondering when there enemies would approach. The B17 slowly began her flight home, almost all the way across the former borders. The B17 had exited the Amazon, flying across the country, only for them to spot some enemy aircraft.

"CHOPPER'S, AND JET'S COMING FROM 12:00 HIGH!!!!!!!!!" Vapor Trail shouted, seeing the gunship's, and jet plane's trying to attack their enemies. Twilight immedietly shifted, the top ball turret, and began to fire the turret, as she managed to take out the two hind gunships, before the B17 dodged the two missile attack's from the jet's. All of the jet's began to turn around, and approach at rapid speed, before precision aiming, and firing from Pinkie Pie, shot down one of the jet's. They once again barely dodge the missile, before Applejack shot the jet down from the side.

"HAHA YEEEEAAAHHHH" Applejack cheered, thankful they all were able were able to destroy those enemies.

"WERE NOT OUT OF THE WOOD'S YET!!!!!!!!" Rodan shouted, as two more helicopter's approached from 6:00 below, and they also came across, Flak fire, from battleship's, as they were still above sea level.

"SOMEONE GET TO THE BOMBING AREA, AND DROP THOSE BOMB'S ON THEM!!!!!!!!" Anguirus shouted, before Baragon smiled.

"ON IT!!!!!!!!!" Baragon shouted, looking down through the bomb scope, as he looked through the binocular's easily locating the ship's. The bomb bay door's themselves opened, and the bomb's dropped. The bomb's scored hits, destroying the ship's with huge blast's, while Rarity fired the ball turret. She didn't give the Hind Gunship Helicopter's a chance to attack from below. They continued to fly through enemy airspace, before seeing more fighter's, and helicopter's approach from the north.

"WE'RE SUPER CLOSE, EVERYONE PREPARE TO GIVE THEM EVERYTHING YOU GOT!!!!!!!!!" Godzilla shouted, before he heard all of them scream their response.

"SIR, YES SIR!!!!!!!!" They shouted, at the top of their lung's, as they prepared for battle, all of them hearing the short tune to "Ride of the Valkyrie's". The B17 Bomber began to barell roll in a huge circle, every single gun, unleashing a storm of bullet's. They quickly shot down, and destroyed every one of their enemies. They fought their enemies with every ounce of energy they could provide. The battle seemed to last for hour's, as they all managed to pass through the enemey airspace, and entering friendly airspace. All of the wreck's of jet's, and chopper's were lost to the sea below.

They all cheered off their victory before hearing two clunking sound's as Godzilla looked, at the pilot's. "Report, what happened?" Godzilla asked, before Spitfire replied.

"We took a few hit's from the Gunship's, the huge problem is, that because of damage, two of our propeller engines have shut down" Spitfire growled, as she, and Vapor Trail slowly began to wrestle with the control's.

"Can you get us home on two engine's?" Godzilla asked, while Spitfire growled.

"Only if someone used magic to re-route the fuel line's from the damaged propeller's" Spitfire growled.

"TWILIGHT!!!!!!!" Godzilla shouted before Twilight, who had exited out of the top ball turret, and smiled.

"I'm on it" She winked, before looking at the two damaged propeller engines as her horn glowed, switching the fuel line's of the vessel, and making it keep the B17 in the air. The B17, was lower to the ground, but still airborne. After almost a third of the way there, they heard the loud clunking, and sputtering sound, as one of the undamaged propeller's ran out of fuel, stopping completely.

The B17, was lower to the ground, but was still airborne as Godzilla motioned Mothra to come up to the B17. They other propeller's also ran out of gas as Mothra quickly grabbed Rarity's computer, and quickly setting up a com-link from the advance computer, to the old B17 Bomber to establish radio connection. After the long flight they finally spotted, the secret airfield from a small mile, as they all cheered happily before Godzilla smiled.

"Tokyo Military Airfield, these are the Earth Defender's, we are in an old B17 Bomber, and our requesting permission to land, with evidence intact, over?" Godzilla asked, before hearing the radio pick up there reply.

"Ah, found an alternate ride to get home eh, good were awaiting for your arrival over?" The man asked. Before Godzilla could speak, they heard the final cluttering clunking sound, before seeing the final propeller engine, run out of fuel.

"Uh-oh" Vapor Trail realized, before Godzilla quickly spoke.

"TOKYO, WE ARE OUT OF FUEL, AND ARE COMING IN HOT, PREPARE FOR CRASH LANDING!!!!!!" Godzilla shouted as Spitfire, and Vapor Trail, groaned loudly, trying to smooth out the landing of the big, heavy bomber. As the aircraft began it's rapid descent, they deployed the landing gear, and were also thankful that they closed the bomb bay door's earlier. They began using their muscle's to make sure she made the landing. The B17, finally came down onto the landing strip, before screeching across the metal, spinning out of control, before the Bomber came to a stop.

To everyone's suprise, the B17 was mostly in perfect shape, her propeller's weren't smashed or destroyed, but her landing gear was gone. She may fly again, but all of them managed to get out of the bomber with everything intact.

"Sound's like all of you had a rough mission, did any of you get what they had for you?" Wood's asked, before Rarity reached into her backpack, and pulled out the DSM. She handed it over to them, as she spoke.

"Whatever is on this drive, it's apparently very important to the American government, so I think we've scored another one successfully" Rarity smiled, as Wood's grinned.

"Good work all of you, now all of you can take some time off, and Daring Do, you are free to leave whenever you please" Wood's told her, to which she gave a slight nod. Mothra, and Godzilla stayed behind to help decrypt the DSM, while the other's went for much needed relaxation.
