Research Between Friendship Magic and Stand Power

Shadow has just finished cleaning out his locker as he was about to head home with the Dazzlings for today until he felt his phone buzzing and beep too, he took it out of his pocket and saw that he just got a text message from Sunset asking her to meet up at the science room with the others.

"Says it's important. Whatever, better not be wasting my time." Shadow closed his locket.

Shadow meets up with the Dazzlings and soon they have arrived in the science lab room where the Rainbooms are waiting for them along with Flash and Blizzard.

"You guys got a text from Sunset asking to come over here?" Shadow asked.

"Yep." Everyone answered at the same time.

"That girl better have a good reason of asking us to come over here because I had planned this afternoon." Aria angered, crossing her arms under her breasts.

"I hope it doesn't take too long, my shaft at the taco restaurant starts in an hour." Sonata looked at the time on her phone.

"But did you say that you have the day off today?" Shadow asked, reminding her of the day off.

"Oh yea, silly me. I love working at the place so much, I must've mix up the time and date." Sonata giggled and gently patted her head.

"In any case, she better have a good reason for calling us out here." Adagio said.

"It is, trust me." Sunset said as she just entered the room.

"Hey everyone, glad you came and nice to see the Stand Users are here too." Sunset noticed Flash and Blizzard.

"I'm sure whatever you need it'll be worth until you're done." Flash shrugged.

"How do you know that?" Blizzard asked.

"Sunset and I used to date." Flash answered honestly as Blizzard now fully understands this.

"So, why exactly did you call us here when we should be enjoying our freedom from this school?" Aria asked with her eyes narrowed at Sunset.

"I was hoping you guys wouldn't mind doing a few tests for me on your magic powers and I also wanted to study the Stands too, how they feel within your bodies and the abilities they have." Sunset explained as she puts on a lab coat.

"In other words, you want to make us into lab rats." Shadow said in a slight mocking.

"Now Dojo, let Sunset have her fun with science to ease her curiosity." Pinkie stated as she suddenly appeared on Shadow's back and boop his nose with her finger.

"Wait a minute, I thought you said in your text that we'll be rehearsing?" Rainbow Dash confused as she looks at her text.

"So, this is researching and rehearsals at the same time?" Flash puzzled.

"In a way you just put it, yes." Sunset nodded.

"You seem to take the interest of researching to a physical point of view, us in wanting to do things up close." Blizzard commented.

"Probably a little more than you think." Sunset shrugged.

"As in a lot more." Flash whispered in Blizzard's ear.

"I heard that, Sentry!" Sunset said making him chuckle nervously.

"Back when I was Princess Celestia's student, I learned best by going out into the field and actually doing something. Studying ancient books is fine for some people, but I like to solve magical mysteries by rolling up my sleeves and getting my hooves... uh, hands dirty." Sunset explained about her old life as she put on gloves.

"Wow, talk about getting serious." Shadow surprised a little.

"I can relate about hard working outdoors, but what the hay does that have to do with us and music?" Applejack asked.

"I'm trying to figure out how magic works here in this world. Why you girls grow ears, tails, and wings when you pony up and what your instruments have to do with it." Sunset answered as she plugged two outlets together.

"There also about your power, the Stand! I can't get my mind out of it; how does it work exactly and what other things they can do!" Sunset placed some suctions on Blizzard's face and arms.

"This research is going to be great. Am I right?" Sunset asked as she held a makeshift helmet towards Fluttershy's head.

"Now, let's get started!" Sunset excited.

"Uh, are you sure we should be figuring this out?" Fluttershy asked worry.

"Trust me, it'll be fun. Just start playing like you always do." Sunset said to the Rainbooms.

"Hey, what about us? Why are we even here since we don't have any magic anymore?" Adagio asked, questioning the purpose of she and her sisters being here.

"Well, I have thought about if maybe there's another way for you to gain magic without evil siren songs and if there is any magic energy within you three left." Sunset explained.

"Plus, I figured you girls would want to be with Shadow some more besides at home." Sunset added.

"She got us there." Sonata said and got smacked on the head by Aria.

"Sunset, while I don't doubt your bright mind of wanting to know the unknown, but you should be warned that there are some things that are not so easy to understand, and one wrong misstep could lead you to trouble." Blizzard advised to the red-yellow hair girl.

"Wow, for a second there, I thought you were Princess Celestia just now." Sunset chuckled.

"That princess must've been really important to you, like a second mother." Aria guessed.

"You could say that." Sunset said as she remembers a few memories of her time with Celestia.

"Anyway, time we get started!" Sunset said as she pulls out a clipboard and a pencil from a nearby table.

First off is Fluttershy, she was nervous and alittle scared at first. But decided to go with it and start playing her tambourine to make herself happy of playing music as Sunset is checking the readings on the computer showing everything is good, but then the lines on the screen start becoming all wiggly and form a shape of a butterfly. Sunset was shocked at this and turns back to Fluttershy ponying up again and the helmet snap off when dozens and dozens of little butterflies came out and suddenly the power went out, and one butterfly came on Sunset's face.

Moving on to Applejack playing her base floating a few feet above the floor for a few minutes while Sunset is writing some notes on her notepad, but then Applejack suddenly stops glowing and the pony feature disappears. The cowgirl couldn't understand why it happened and when Sunset try to think of a theory, she got piled by apples falling right on top of her and Applejack simply shrug as she takes one and took a bite out of it. Flash pick one apple one wondering how did Applejack made them in fin air while Sunset pulls her head out groaning in pain a little.

Sunet has Rarity plug in with some wires and giving the fashion girl a thumb up, Rarity starts playing her keytar grace and fun causing her to pony up as Sunset expected. However, what Sunset didn't realize is that there are the wires around her foot and when Rarity starts to float up, the wires wrap on Sunset's foot causing her to fall on the floor.

Next up is Pinkie Pie playing her drum set at a normal pace with Sunset looking at the reading on the machine.

"Okay Pinkie, crank it up!" Flash yelled.

Pinkie nods and starts beating the drums harder and faster in her own fun pace causing her pony form to come and glowing pink, when she made a finale slam a dozen balloons came out of the large drum and pushes Sunset crashing on the wall. The balloons have also made Sunset's hair to become spiked up from being rubbed of electric by the balloons.

"You okay, Sunset?" Sonata asked.

"Peachy." Sunset groaned as she falls on the floor.

"Never knew science could be this funny." Aria giggled as Adagio rolls her eyes.

Last of the Rainbooms is Rainbow Dash playing her guitar to show her awesomeness (and perhaps secretly wanted Flash to watch which he is) as Sunset and Flash are inside a sound room record the date on Rainbow Dash's shredding, everything seems to be okay until the rainbow-haired girl pony up and the magical rainbow colors travel through the wire and into the computer. Sunset and Flash are shock by this and suddenly got splatted with magical rainbow paint on their face.

A few minutes later, Sunset came out to the Rainbooms.

"Finally, after all this testing, I've come to a definitive conclusion!" Sunset said with her hair being all bendy and up like an anime hair style.

"I have no idea how magic works in this world." Sunset coughed a tiny rainbow from her mouth and feel like her body is about to give out.

But before her body could even touch the floor, Shadow suddenly appeared behind and held her back with one arm.

"Whatever happen to getting her hands dirty." Shadow joked a little.

"Haha… The magic these girls got their magic for when Twilight united the Magic of Friendship during the Fall Formal and showed they still have the magic within them, which we brought was taken back when Twilight and Spike returned to Equestria with the crown." Sunset explained.

"If I may, perhaps the Magic of Friendship you speak of has made a strong connection with these girls like the ones who also bear the power from your pony world." Blizzard shared his theory.

"Maybe, this world and Equestria are parallel to each other like twins except here are humans and everyone we know over there are ponies." Sunset mentioned.

"Meaning there's a pony me over there right now?" Shadow asked curious.

"I think so, I never really met any more ponies than the ones I used to know and Princess Celestia." Sunset said.

"Well, it would be interesting to see if I can meet myself." Shadow smirked.

"Oh, it would be a double Dojo Showdown!" Pinkie excited, imaging one human Shadow and a human Shadow death-glaring at each other.

"I wonder if he has a Stand too?" Sonata asked.

"Don't t think so, I thought that Stand powers like yours is like this world's counterpart of Equestria's magic in a way." Sunset believed.

"That could be as the saying goes, one side of the coin cannot exist without the other." Blizzard.

"Whatever the case, we're going to find out more! Now let see what you guys got!" Sunset excited.

Flash stands in the middle of the room as everyone else is standing at the side of the room.

"Okay Flash, tell us about your Stand like its powers and how did you awaken to your Stand power?" Sunset asked, getting ready to write down everything Flash will say about his Stand.

"Well, my Stand's name is Gold Lightning Knight, and its power is that of lightning itself. Golden Lightning Knight can charge lightning throughout its whole body, and I can have it release into a massive wave or into a single point of a shot. Basically, I'm a living lightning man." Flash explained with a smirk and his Stand pound its fists together creating some electric sparks.

"Oh man, now that is a cool power to have!" Rainbow Dash imagined herself shooting lightning from her body, and the lightning would be rainbow color too.

"Yeah, it was pretty cool to me too though I was also scared of my power for a bit at first." Flash admitted.

"It got this power when I was eleven. It was a stormy afternoon with the thunderclouds above the house and I was inside trying to make the best of how to cure my boredom." Flash started the tale of how he got his Stand.

(Flashback)

Little Kids is seen bouncing a ball to a wall back and forth, back and forth, and letting out a sigh of bored as he wishes for something exciting to happen in his head, then stop bouncing the ball on the wall.

"Oh man, there's got to be something else to do." Flash complained a bit.

That's when he jumps a bit when he heard a really loud thunder sound coming from outside and saw the flashes of lightning as well, and that made Flash smile.

"Believe it or not, I always had a strong interest towards lightning. It was like they just calm me down instead of scaring me like most would, there was something that made me want to get close to them." Flash recalled those feelings.

Kid Flash goes to the back glass door looking out seeing the thunderclouds with the raining pouring in and even saw a single lightning bolt came down at someplace close by.

"Awesome!" Flash shouted with joy.

"That day, I decided to go outside to hear more of the thunder. I didn't care about getting wet or catching a cold." Flash mentioned.

Flash opens the door jumping outside and looking up at the thunderclouds with excitement as he wonders if another lightning bolt was gonna come down.

"And when another lightning bolt came down, it came right at me." Flash said.

A lightning bolt came down towards Flash who didn't realize what was happening until it was too late and struck the boy down to death.

But it didn't as Flash noticed a small golden armored figure floating in front and a little above him with lightning sparks emitting around it.

"That bolt of lightning changed my life forever when I Stand came out protecting me from getting shocked." Flash recalled that shocking moment.

The scene shows the kid size Golden Lightning Knight in a pose of protecting its young User and threw its fist at the clouds and shot a bolt of lightning upward, Flash looked onward at the Stand smiling in awe.

(Flashback End)

"I decided to name it Golden Lightning Knight because of how it looks like a knight and its power of lightning. I later learned that my power is called a Stand, had it ever since." Flash finished his story.

"My goodness, I can't believe how riskless you were." Rarity shocked to hear this.

"Guess your Stand was the reason why you love lightning so much." Fluttershy said.

"Thanks, I thought of that too." Flash said.

"Does your parents know?" Applejack asked.

"No, I tried showing them my power, but they couldn't see it and decided to keep it a secret. Didn't want to cause them trouble." Flash answered.

"Okay, next up is Blizzard." Sunset looked over to Blizzard.

"Same question like Flash." Sunset said.

"My Stand, is name Cold King Fang and it has the power over one of nature's most deadly force, the cold to freeze everything around it from just being there with the cold air and even freezing things instantly when getting serious." Blizzard explained about his Stand as it shows up with a roar.

"Aw, what a cute bear!" Fluttershy complimented causing Blizzard to blush.

"As for how I got this power, it was at the homeland of my family and during a snowstorm." Blizzard said.

(Flashback)

Kid Blizzard is seen walking through the field of snow making his way up the hillside to join his family as the village the lays up there, it was hard, but he wouldn't give up.

"It's a tradition in my family to survive through the storm and make it to the village. I was determined to complete the trail." Blizzard said strongly.

Blizzard kept going and going even though his body was about to start get exhausted, he continues moving forward, then he let out a loud scream at the snow.

"I screamed like a beast telling the snowstorm that it will not keep me from my family, and that is when I awoken my Stand." Blizzard remembered that moment clearly.

Blizzard's body started to glow and out came a small but muscular Cold King Fang as it roars loud and pushing the snow away with its power.

Blizzard managed to climb all the way up to the hill and saw his family waiting for him as they smile and cheers for passing the trail.

(Flashback End)

"It was an experience I'll never forget. And unlike Flash's family, mine do know about my power because I inherited from my grandmother." Blizzard finished his power.

"Wow, that was cool beyond and so on!" Fluttershy complimented.

"Thank you." Blizzard smiled.

"Okay, might at least get this over with." Shadow said as he starts to tell them about how his Stand awoke last month.

Well, Sunset did her research on both the Rainbooms with their magic and on the Stand Users including learning some history about how they got their Stand power, seems like that brought everyone together more than before and their friendship has strengthen too.
