Negotiation into Participating the Friendship Games

Twilight sat down in the chair in front of the principal and the door close showing Cadance standing inside the headmistress office along with another student inside the room with them.

"Wait, Aku, is that you?" Twilight asked in surprise.

"I'm glad to see you're still in good health even though you have been alone in your isolated studying. You had me deeply concern." Aku walked up to Twilight, revealing himself in the light.

Aku is a pale-skinned young man with green eyes with slit pupils. His black hair has six big spikes pointed at the back, four of which curve upwards while the other two curve downwards with gray-blue highlight on each spike. He wears the school uniform of Crystal Prep with the exception of a golden tie and a pin of a black sphere pin.

"But why are you here?" Twilight asked.

"As an alumni, Principal Cinch thought he could provide some unique perspective. Though that was supposed to be Shining Armor, but he never came back." Cadance explained.

"Perspective on what?" Twilight asked.

"Why, the Friendship Games, of course." Cinch said.

"Aku, you know of the previous Friendship Games through some study of records, am I correct?" Cinch asked her top student of the school.

"Indeed, Headmistress Cinch, for it is Crystal Prep who wins the last Friendship Games and the one before that, we always win." Aku answered with a soft grin.

"We always win." Cinch nodded.

"Why did you ask to see me?" Twilight asked, feeling a bit confused in the conversation.

"Twilight, I'll be honest. It doesn't matter whether or not Crystal Prep wins or important thing is we are expected to win because Crystal Prep has a reputation. And it is that reputation... my reputation that is responsible for everything we have here. For everything you've done here." Cinch explained strongly with a pencil in her hand.

"And you've done quite a lot, haven't you?" Cinch grinned at Twilight.

"I don't know. I guess." Twilight shrugged.

"Oh, don't be modest. You're the best student this school has ever seen. What I can't understand is why my best student wouldn't want to compete." Cinch wondered.

"In the Friendship Games?" Twilight asked if she is talking about that event.

"What she is asking is for you to participate in the Friendship Games, something that your bright mind can help with." Aku said.

"You're making it sound like you're going to compete in it yourself." Twilight noticed how Aku is talking like he's going to join in the Friendship Games.

"I am, the school needs a strong and dependable spirit such as mine to carry the team into the events to victory, and I recommend Cinch that you would be part of that time due to your bright mind and cheerful attitude." Aku mentioned with a hand on her shoulder.

"Didn't know I was so highly recommended." Twilight was surprised.

"You are more than what you're letting yourself on, Twilight Sparkle. So much potential that has yet to be discovered, and I believe you may discover that at the Friendship Games." Aku complimented.

"Oh please, like I could do much in sports." Twilight giggled with her cheeks blushing.

"But you should also know why Cinch has agreed to my thoughts on you due to how Canterlot High has been." Aku mentioned.

"It seems Canterlot High is undergoing something of a renaissance. Test scores are up, grades, even athletics are on the rise. You see, they are developing somewhat of a reputation. This cannot happen!" Cinch refused to allow Canterlot High to grow into something more than this school, than herself.

"I told her it's nothing to go overreacting since we of Crystal Prep could use a challenge since we haven't had one in a long time, something that can really push us to the top." Aku smirked.

"Principal Cinch, I can't possibly participate in the games. My work here is very—" Twilight was about to explain her work to her, but Cinch cuts her off.

"Ah, yes. Your work. Cadance, could you find my contact sheet for the Everton Independent Study program?" Cinch requested.

"Of course." Cadance nodded and leaves the room.

"I understand you've applied. You see, one of the advantages of having a reputation is a certain amount of influence in such things." Cinch pulled up a file from her desk.

"So, let me offer you a deal. In return for contributing your agile mind to these games, I will use my influence to guarantee your application is approved." Cinch offered a deal as she slides the file close to Twilight.

Twilight looks at the file that contains her entry to the Everfree program, one that could be set on her entire future in motion with that single piece of paper. She wanted to see it for herself for herself, but Cinch pulls the file back.

"Though, I suppose I could also have it... denied. What do you think I should do?" Cinch asked with a grin.

"Now, now, Principal Cinch, there's no need to go to the extreme like that. Not with her future in your hands." Aku was concerned calmly.

"I'm just giving Twilight the encouragement to join the games, we're going to need her bright mind along side yours to make absolutely sure that we win." Cinch proclaimed.

Twilight started to feel scared from how Principal Cinch puts her "encouragement" to get her to join the Friendship Games by blackmailing her chance to get into Everfree, fearing that she can't back down from this one.

Aku and Twilight leave the office together with the latter looking very nervous.

"Try not to let her negativity get you own, Twilight. At least she's not doing anything worse like expelling you from school if you don't compete." Aku tried to brighten the mood.

Yeah, that's probably good." Twilight sighed.

"Easy Twilight, I know this isn't exactly how you planned on going to the Friendship Games, but maybe you can take advantage of the trip while you're there." Aku advised.

"Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to get myself prepare for the upcoming games." Aku walked away.

Aku walks through the hallway while making sure that Twilight isn't around anymore.

"And I do hope you can help me with my own project." Aku smirked.

Aku stopped in front of a portrait of a literal black man with red eyes and wearing a crown with a red horn, he looks up at the man in the painting almost like he's admiring it.

"The time is near." Aku said before pressing the heart emblem at the middle bottom of the frame revealing it to be a button.

The portrait moves to the right revealing a hidden staircase and Aku walks up the steps just as the portrait moves back into position, he enters the dark room with candles being lit by themselves as if by magic.

"I take it everything went well?" Alfred asked, walking up to his master.

"Yes, it was just a little talk about Twilight competing in the Friendship Games which may work out more in my favor." Aku smirked.

"And we need to be prepared for when we face Shadow Joestar." Aku walked up to the memorial of same man from the painting.

"I will not allow him to get in the way of my grand plan, not when there is another chance to get the power I desire." Aku glared intensely.

"Then now would be the good time to bring in the Four Knights of the Apocalypse to deal with Shadow since the two girls we hit with the arrow fail to end him." Alfred suggested.

"Yes, we cannot hold ourselves back from this task." Aku agreed.

"Soon, very soon, the entire world will bow down to me!" Aku declared, believing that it is his destiny to rule the whole world.

(With Twilight)

Twilight is packing up some things in her backpack though she isn't exactly excited about this because she has been forced to go compete in the Friendship Games instead of doing her research, which was the point that would get her into Everfree.

"(Sometimes, I wonder if it's a good thing to be smart?)" Twilight thought sighed.

But her thoughts were interrupted when Spike pulled the shirt with his fangs causing a little tug-a-war.

"Ugh! Come on, Spike! I was always gonna go to Canterlot High for the Friendship Games. Ich!" Twilight pulled the shirt away out of Spike's cute little mouth.

"The only difference now is that I have to compete. Besides, it's not like Principal Cinch gave me much of a choice." Twilight pointed out.

Spike shows the expression on his face as he whimpers, he really doesn't like that Cinch woman to force her into doing something she doesn't want to do.

"I know, Spike. I don't like it either. I probably won't be able to collect anywhere near as much data as I thought." Twilight felt disappointed as she looks at her device.

However, an idea struck her about her research that she may be able to do while at the Friendship Games.

"But maybe I can still get some." Twilight quickly grabbed a string nearby and tie it onto the energy detecting device and put it around her neck, making it into a pendant that nobody would know a thing.

Spike whimpers again hoping that Twilight wasn't thinking about leaving him all alone in the school.

"Spike, I wouldn't leave without you. Just remember to be quiet. And try not to shed." Twilight placed Spike inside her backpack and pet him one last time before leaving the room.

Twilight makes her way outside of the school to see there are some buses outside that are waiting to pick up the students and take them to Canterlot High for the Friendship Games.

"(Which bus is the one for contestant of the games?)" Twilight thought asked.

But as luck would have it, Twilight spotted Cadance who is looking at the paper on a clipboard.

"Dean Cadance, I'm not really sure where to go." Twilight said, unknowingly cut in front of a girl who was at the front of the line.

"One second, Twilight." Cadnace said as she is going over the list on her clipboard.

"You could try the end of the line!" The girl behind said sourly.

"What did you say?" Twilight asked, noticing the girl.

"Just that someone as smart as you should definitely go first." The girl said sweetly and sarcastically.

"I... I didn't mean to. I was just asking." Twilight said, nervous and a little scared.

"This is the right bus, Twilight. Go ahead." Cadance informed her.

"But... I didn't mean to cut in front." Twilight felt bad about what just happened.

"Well, it's too late now." The girl scoffed sourly as she crosses her arms under her breasts.

"Now Sour Sweet, you should know better than to get all sour on someone who is about to compete in the Friendship Games for the first time." Aku walked up to the girls.

"It's only natural that she would be confused on which bus to go on." Aku pointed out.

"Well, if you say so, Aku, then I guess I could forgive her for cutting in line." Sour Sweet smiled with lovey-dovey eyes at Aku.

Sour Sweet has moderate indigo eyes, pale, light grayish gold skin, and her hair is moderate rose with lighter, moderate rose, and grayish aquamarine streaks. She wears the Crystal Prep school uniform without the sleeves and the bottom part short around the waist. Breasts sizes: G-cup.

Aku escorted Twilight into the bus and then a little girl shouts at the glasses wearing girl.

"Are we gonna win?!" The girl shouted.

"I... I don't know." Twilight was puzzled by what that girl was talking about.

"Wrong answer! Try again! Are we gonna win?!" The girl asked again, only louder this time.

"Twilight Sparkle, meet Indigo Zap, one of top students in Crystal Prep who specializes in physical activities and have great athletic feats." Aku introduced Indigo Zap to Twilight.

"You better believe I got the skills, man! And I say we are going to win this game like there's no tomorrow!" Indigo Zap cheered with her fists pump up.

Indigo Zap has light amberish grey, Dark conflower blue with moderate cerulean and moderate arctic blue streaks hair color, and brilliant gamboge eyes. She wears the Crystal Prep uniform and has her own orange framed googles on her head. Breasts sizes: H-cup.

"Don't mind her, that girl is just full of energy like she hasn't mature from her elementary days." Aku commented.

"Hey!" Indigo Zap took that offended from that.

Aku and Twilight walk past the other students until they find some empty seats, one for Twilight and the other for Aku two row in front of Twilight.

"Try not to think about the games too much." Aku said before getting to his seat.

"Hi, Sugarcoat." Twilight greeted a fellow student.

"Hello Twilight Sparkle, I'm surprise to see you're going to compete in the Friendship Games." Sugarcoat greeted with an emotionless face.

Sugarcoat light phthalo bluish gray, light opalish gray with light arctic bluish gray streaks hair tied in two ponytails and a bun, and grayish orchid eyes behind her orange-red framed glasses. She wears the Crystal Prep school uniform. Breasts sizes: J-cup.

"Yeah, well… Let just say the reason kinda force me." Twilight shrugged.

"Well, hope you don't perform badly that would make the school look bad." Sugarcoat said bluntly.

Twilight let out a sigh thinking that things are going to be a little hard for her from here on out once she gets to Canterlot High.

"Well, Spike, at least I've got you with me." Twilight whispered smiling.

Twilight then looks over to a girl sitting on another seat next to her is bobbing her head from what she can tell a very good music to make her move like that.

"Dude, you have gotta hear this!" The girl said loudly. She takes off her headphones and places them on Twilight to have her listen to the rock music which is certainly loud and more than what Twilight could handle.

"It looks like Twilight has already met Lemon Zest." Aku said.

"Cool music, right?" Lemon Zest asked.

Lemon Zest has pale, light grayish amaranth, Light pistachio with pale, light grayish green and light brilliant lime green streaks hair color, and light brilliant amber eyes. She wears the same school inform as the other girls and has pink headphones over her head. Breasts sizes: K-cup.

"I hope that girl isn't going to be a problem for your plan, Aku. We had to go through a lot of setbacks from Sunset and the Dazzlings, those fools should've done better to get you what you want." A girl stated, looking angry for her master.

"Be patient, Sunny Flare. All will go according to my plan, not even Shadow Joestar will stop me." Aku smirked.

"And we'll be sure that those foolish Rainbooms won't stand in your way either, their magic won't be of any threat to us." Sunny Flare grinned.

Sunny Flare has light turquoisish gray skin, grayish mulberry with light raspberry streaks hair color, and moderate cerise eyes along with dark indigo eyeshadow. She wears the normal school uniform of Crystal Prep. Breasts sizes: G-cup.

"I am grateful to have someone like you by my side, every king does need his queen after all." Aku said.

"Of course, and the four knights including myself will always be at your call." Sunny Flare smiled and blushes a bit.

"By the way, one of us has already gone on ahead to Canterlot Hight to see if he could at least take out one or two of the enemies before we arrive." Sunny Flare informed.

"And who would that be?" Aku asked curiously.

"Only that pervert stupid plant." Sunny answered though with a disapproval look and rolled her eyes.

"Ah, Limber Grass. He was very upset about the two new Stand Users he and Alfred created didn't come over to our side after using his grass ability to control and take care of Shadow." Aku chuckled.

"But this could be a good opportunity to see just how strong Shadow really is once he goes up against one of the Four Knights of the Apocalypse." Sunny smirked.

"Because once one cross path with one of us knights, then it's the end for their lives!" Sunny smirked with her body glowing the same color as her eyeshadow as she looks out the window with an intense dark stare.
