Cold Battle to Get to the Musical Battle

We last saw Shadow and friends picking up Vinyl Scratch to help them with the Rainboom against the Dazzlings, but now they find themselves facing against another enemy Stand User, Blizzard Bear who was a friendly neighbor at first though was pretending as he now wants to battle him.

"Damn it, I didn't think we encounter an enemy Stand User so soon." Flash shocked.

"But we have to get to the girls fast or else the Dazzlings are gonna rule the entire city and next the world!" Spike panicked a little.

"Forgive me, but I was ordered to eliminate you and your friends, so you won't ruin the show." Blizzard mentioned as his body glows icy blue of his Stand power.

"Not cool, dude." Vinyl glared with her sunglasses down.

"I don't have time to deal with you, just get the hell out of my way." Shadow demanded as he brought out Star Crimson for battle.

"Too bad because you're all gonna be feeling more than a simple cold." Blizzard smirked as ten ice daggers appeared around him and are launched at the group.

Star Crimson crush them away one by one with its fist taking down nine while it easily caught the tenth one between its fingers, then it handed the ice dagger to Shadow.

"Feels really cold, so your Stand has the power over ice." Shadow figured out before throwing the ice dagger away.

"That's right, my family have always lived in the coldest place in the world including that of the Antarctic as we become one with the cold that gives us strength to survive the intense heat mankind has ever faced." Blizzard explained about his family as his Stand aura glows more fiercely.

"Huh?" Flash suddenly felt something odd in the air and notice the cold air breath coming out of his mouth.

"Whoa, it's starting to get cold here." Flash confused since it should be around springtime by now.

"That's weird? Everything feels just fine a few moments ago." Spike said.

"It's because of his Stand, it seems to be spreading wider than I thought." Shadow said.

"Yes, the coldness you are feeling is the power of my blizzarding Stand, Cold King Fang!" Blizzard summoned his stand.

The cold Stand, Cold King Fang, takes the form of a polar bear though more muscular like the biggest wrestler with dark sapphire eyes and matching claws on the paws, the two fangs are about three inches longer, and wearing a black singlet with fingerless gloves and toeless socks. The fur it's also pure white as snow with icy mist emitting around the Stand.

"A polar bear, why am I not surprised." Shadow rolled his eyes.

"I hope you weren't planning on something for this summer because winter is coming early this year." Blizzard grinned.

"I can take this one on." Flash volunteered to fight him.

"No, this one is mine. I became his first "victim" when we first crossed path." Shadow stated and walked forward.

"My, you're making a daring move to come closer for your cold death." Blizzard impressed with Shadow's bravery.

"Well, I can't kick your ass if I don't get closer." Shadow said.

"Then allow me to reply to your bravery!" Blizzard excited for the battle as his Stand roars for its user's excitement.

Shadow leaps forward with Star Crimson in front throwing a punch though blocked by the icy Stand's paw then the fist of the red-monkey Stand started to freeze up as Shadow can feel his own hands being cold, he called his Stand back to quickly get away though Cold King Fang chase after it and slashes the blue claws at the chest leaving little cut marks.

"Damn it, so you can freeze others through physical contact too." Shadow grunted.

"That's right, my Stand has the perfect balance of long and close-range that none has been able to beat me in combat, including you!" Blizzard bragged.

Cold King Fang roars as it charges at the enemy Stand throwing its claws strong and fierce as Shadow's Stand dodges them thanks to its greater speed, found an opening and landed a strong high kick under the chin which made the icy Stand and Blizzard stumble back a little.

"Very impressive, you seem pretty proud of your Stand's speed and the having the strength to back it up." Blizzard commented.

"Compared to my fight with Flash, your speed just looks like a cheetah trying to outrun a race car." Shadow mocked.

Star Crimson charges at the icy Stand throwing some fast punches at the enemy while it defends itself with its white furry arms, the red stand threw an uppercut that force the defense to open up and launch a right hook on the cheek. Blizzard groaned in pain reflect on the damage his Stand got from that attack, but he didn't falter standing ground on his ground and decided to try out one his best moves to show Shadow how cold he can be in fights.

"Mist of the North!" Blizzard commanded and Cold King Fang took a deep breath then let out an icy mist at Shadow trapping him and his friends inside.

"Whoa, what's going on?" Spike asked being a little scared.

"I don't know, I can't see anything in this mist." Flash looked to see through the eyes of his Stand, but nothing is coming to his sight.

"Flash, Spike, stay close to Vinyl since she doesn't have a Stand!" Shadow called out.

"We'll try!" Flash responded.

"It's nice that you care deeply for your friends that much." Blizzard complimented while hiding in the icy mist.

Shadow looks around trying to find Blizzard which is starting to feel like playing a game of finding the needle in the haystack, only this one with the hay being the icy mist and Blizzard is the needle that moves around instead of staying in one piece. Not even the eyes of his Stand could find him through this mist.

"So, we're playing hide and seek now?" Shadow asked sarcastically.

"It may seem like it to you, but this is more like a game of cat and mouse." Blizzard said.

Shadow quickly turns to his left seeing what appears to be a shadowy figure of Blizzard and his Stand, he quickly got Star Crimson to attack with a mighty punch though only to find out it was nothing, but an illusion created from the mist.

"And the mouse… Is you!" Blizzard shouted and Cold King Fang slashes at the red Stand.

Shadow was able to react on time to have his Stand to dodge it, but not entirely as the claws were able to slash onto the left shoulder cutting onto Shadow's shoulder too and counterattack by rapid lightning kicks at the stomach. But one kick later, Star Crimson's foot suddenly became encase in ice which feels freezing painfully as Shadow can feel his right foot getting cold and tries to retreat, but Cold King Fang grabbed Star Crimson swinging him in the air and slams it on the street.

Shadow pains in front as he can feel his chest hurting like it was punched by a truck as he coughs up blood a little, but pain wouldn't keep him down for long as he stands up again and Star Crimson slaps the paw with its tail and kick-flip it back as it returns to Shadow.

"My, my, you have quiet the durability. It's almost like you're superhuman." Blizzard commented.

"Let just say I've gone through shit before moving to America, and everywhere I go there will always be some bitches who piss me off and I just beat them up." Shadow said cracking his neck a little.

"I see, so you're the kind of brute who think it's okay to beat up anyone just because they piss you off. Such a simple and idiot way of thinking." Blizzard mocked.

Then ice daggers are fired from all direction going towards Shadow as the ice Stand User believes he has no way of defending from an attack that comes in all directions, but how wrong that was prove when he summoned Star Crimson and it spins around Shadow while smashing the ice daggers away.

Then Shadow thought of something to use a way to find Blizzard, by having his Star Crimson grabbing as many ice daggers as it can then throwing it all around in all directions just like hos Blizzard attacked, so far nothing until one dagger left a cut onto Blizzard's right side of his torso.

"Damn it…" Blizzard grunted.

Star Crimson's ears picked up the sound as it and Shadow turns around to where the sound came from charging straight to the enemy, Blizzard is shocked to see Shadow coming this way and quickly brought out Cold King Fang to thrust a claw attack to the face. However, Star Crimson reacted faster by smacking the arm away and using that same arm to throw a punch on the nose making Blizzard bleed before getting grabbed by the neck.

"I think that's enough cold games, Blizzard. You're done for." Shadow glared.

Blizzard can feel his neck being squeezed by the pain from his Stand with the close-up to his neck looking like there's something invisible force grabbing him.

"I was warned about your Stand being powerful, but it looks like this is more than I would have imagined." Blizzard grunted.

"Yeah, my Stand is pretty strong and to be honest, I only recently discovered this power and getting costumed to it for about a month." Shadow mentioned.

"Only a month, and yet your way of mastering and controlling your Stand seems like you had it way longer than that." Blizzard surprised.

"Let just say I'm a quick learner when it comes to things like school or many ways to beat the living shit out of people like you." Shadow glared again and Star Crimson's grip grew a little tighter.

Then before Shadow know it, the icy mister started to disappear revealing the others are okay though for some reason Spike is on top of Flash's head while Vinyl is standing in front of them.

"Huh, how did I get on your head?" Spike asked with a raised eyebrow.

"I have no idea." Flash confused as well.

"Looks like you guys are okay." Shadow said to the others.

"Seem you now see that you have no chance against me, but I have to admit that you put up one hell of a fight." Shadow smirked.

"Sorry, but I am no one's entertainment." Blizzard glared.

Cold King Fang roars and suddenly the temper around the two Stand Users begun to be feel colder than before, and ice are starting to form instantly starting with Star Crimson's right arm and the polar bear Stand strikes it with its claws causing little cracks to appear. Shadow's arm instantly bleeds from the damage his Stand gained from the attack, he retreated his Stand but not without throwing a triple, fast kick to the side.

"Trying to freeze me again? I know how to avoid that." Shadow proclaimed.

But he suddenly groans in pain and feeling cold on his feet, he looks at his Stand with his eyes widen of shock that Star Crimson's other foot has frozen up too.

"Whoa, Star Crimson's suddenly went frozen!" Spike shocked.

"But how? When that happens, it takes at least a couple of seconds or so for the ability to work, but that happened after Shadow's fast attack." Flash concerned about this too.

"How do you like that, when Cold King Fang fight at his maximum the freezing ability of physical contact is much greater with the speed being faster upon first touch, instant ice body parts." Blizzard laughed a little.

"You can try fighting the cold as much as you want, but not even the strongest man alive can ever hope to overcome the coldness that is from Mother Nature herself." Blizzard bragged.

Cold King Fang charges at Star Crimson for some fierce slashing though the red-monkey Stand was able to dodge it, but Shadow noticed something wrong with how his Stand is moving right now.

"What's going on, Star Crimson's speed seems to be getting slower?" Shadow confused.

"You fool! It's because of the cold, that kind of freezing temperature can slow anything down be it that of an animal or a man and you're going to become a frozen brat!" Blizzard laughed.

"And you better hope that my Stand doesn't catch up, but I think there is something else that can keep you from moving." Blizzard smirked.

"Snow Trap!" Cold King Fang blasted an icy breath that created snow that appear right around Shadow's legs trapping most of it inside.

"Just to make sure you don't go too far away for my reach." Blizzard smirked.

"Yare yare daze, to think I love playing in the snow with mom. But now it's being used to kill me." Shadow sighed.

"Now, to make you into a nice ice sculpture… before I smash you to pieces!" Blizzard declared as Cold King Fang roars.

"Shadow!" Flash gasped as Spike and Vinyl (even though she can't see the Stands) are worried for Shadow.

"(Come on, think! I need a way to get myself out of this and beat the living shit out of this guy.)" Shadow thought angered as he clutches his fists.

"Shadow, don't give up!" Vinyl shouted while rubbing her hands together for some warmth.

Then an idea came into his head, one that might be crazy and a little stupid, but a stupid idea that just might work to win this battle.

"Well, it's now or never." Shadow said.

"Huh, sorry, but did you say your final words?" Blizzard asked.

(Music: Jotaro's Theme, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusader)

"No, not final words… But something to beat the cold!" Shadow determined.

Star Crimson clap its unfrozen hand to the frozen one, rubbing them together in a very fast pace most like the left hand is turning into a speedy blur.

"Is that your plan? I make yourself warm through some stupid body heat that is unlikely thanks to Cold King Fang making the cold much harder to feel any warm." Blizzard stated.

"You might be right, if the speed was done by normal means for a human, but you should remember better that we're no normal humans." Shadow grinned.

Blizzard wasn't convinced at first thinking Shadow has finally lost his hand and decided to put an end to him right now, Cold King Fang charges in to sink its fangs into the red Stand to finish off the enemy once and for all.

But the polar bear Stand's fangs never made contact before Star Crimson kick it away and making Blizzard bleed on the head a little.

"You idiot, did I not tell you that…" But Blizzard never finish his sentence as his eyes widen of shock when he saw that the ice that should be encasing the leg is melting and steam coming out from Star Crimson's leg.

"What the… But how? How are you able to generate the heat to counter the Cold Contact freezing?" Blizzard confused.

"Try looking at Star Crimson's leg more and find out." Shadow said.

Blizzard look at the leg and became shocked again when he saw that Star Crimon's leg is being rubbed by its own tail wrapping around the leg.

"You should know better that whenever we move around either just by walking or running, our bodies start to generate some heat within and raising up making us feel hot and sweats forming as a sign that our bodies are getting warm up more than we think." Shadow explained while form his own little exercise by throwing some punches.

"So, I'm using that to help Star Crimson to warm up from your cold." Shadow smirked.

"So, you're able to break free from the cold from just some stupid body heat?" Blizzard gasped.

"I hope you're ready, because you're about to leave to cold with my heated fist!" Shadow declared.

"DON'T FUCK WITH ME?!" Blizzard shouted in rage.

Cold King Fang charges in with its claws to slash at Shadow to kill him before he could break free from the frozen state completely, but it was too late as Star Crimson's right arm is unfrozen and move faster before Blizzard could react.

"OZAOZAOZAOZAOZAOZAOZAOZAOZAOZA!" Star Crimson unleashed the powerful and fast rapid attack and send Blizzard flying with his head hitting a light pole, knock unconscious.

"All right!" Flash and Spike cheered, and Vinyl smile giving Shadow a thumb up.

"People always thought I was cool, but I'm pretty sure they didn't mean literally cool." Shadow chuckled.

"Are you gonna be okay?" Spike asked.

"Nothing I've been through before." Shadow smirked, before flinching in pain a little.

"But right now, we better get the Battle of the Band to help the Rainbooms before it's too late." Shadow said.

"Then hope we're not too late." Flash said.

Everyone quickly boarded onto Vinyl's car as she drives it fast to stage of the Battle of the Band.

Shadow had a tough fight against the cold like Blizzard and his Stand Cold King Fang, and he definitely felt the cold through more ways than one. Good thing he was able get warm enough to finish the fight quickly, and now the small group are on their way to help the Rainbooms for their musical battle against the Dazzlings.
