Kamen Rider and video games, you can't get a better combination than that. That's what I thought when I first heard about Kamen Rider Ex-Aid.

Bit by bit I saved up my money. As time went by I was able to buy the Gamer Driver, I had fun pressing the button on the Gashat as well as pretending to transform into Kamen Rider Ex-Aid. I mean who wouldn't pretend to roleplay as well as enjoy it?.

I was alone in my life, even at work I didn't have friends so I pretty much stuck to myself. At home, I played video games and watched the occasional shows such as Power Rangers. I've never watched Kamen Rider outside of the one translated version known as Masked Rider, aka Kamen Rider Black RX. But the shows do interest me as I've seen countless videos of their transformations as well as finishers.

Now I have potentially my favourite form for Ex-Aid, the Mighty Brothers XX Gashat. I stared at its packaging for a bit before carefully opening it up. The beautiful orange and Azure green casing came out of the box. With my screwdriver at hand, I quickly opened the battery compartment and inserted the required batteries before closing it back up and redoing the screws.

I didn't do anything for a bit, I just wanted to marvel at it some more. I flicked the switch on as I heard, "Game start!"
Slowly my thumb moved up and hit the button. That announcement and the jingle sent delightful shivers down my spine.

I grabbed my Gamer Driver and strapped it around my waist. By this time, the Gasha had reset its sounds.
I pressed the button on the Gashat, "Mighty Brothers Double X!". Then I placed it into the slot on the driver, "Double Gashotto!". My body trembled a little as my hand rested on the handle, it almost felt like a small shock went through my body as I prepared myself to pull the front open. "Henshin!" I said before opening the front. "Gachan!, Level up!.
Mighty Brothers! two for one!, Might Brother! two for victory! X!".

Once the jingle had started, a bright light appeared from nowhere causing me to close my eyes. When I reopened them, it looked like I had some sort of helmet on. I looked down as I caught sight of my hands, black gloves with some sort of white armour going up my arms. I quickly ran to the nearest mirror, well it felt more like I was waddling rather than running.

It was then I saw what had happened. As I peered into the mirror I saw a large face staring back at me, big comical eyes that looked like LED gamer style eyes in orange and Azure green. Hair matching the two colours parting on either side of my head. Talk about an overload of the senses.

I woke up on the bathroom floor. "Phew just a dream," I said to myself, "wait, my voice, it sounds a bit different". It was then I saw the same helmet like view around my sight. I got to my feet, as I peered at the mirror, the same helmet face stared back. I looked at my reflection for a bit, completely stunned. "Wow did I just become Ex-Aid in his Mighty Brothers Double X form?" I asked myself.

It took me a while to get over that initial shock, but what came next took the cake. "If I became Mighty Brothers XX, does that mean?", I looked down at the handle. My body acted on instinct as I closed the front. "Gatchon!", My ears listened to the sounds as the intensity built up. "Dai Henshin!" I said as I flipped the front open. "Gachan!, Double up!. I am you and you are me!, we are! Mighty Mighty Brothers Double X!".

As expected, I separated into two versions of me. One in an orange suit with white armour and the other in Azure suit plus white armour. Naturally, this threw me or rather, us for a loop. Of course, we examined each other a bit. Not that it mattered in the end.

"Hey two of us," I said noticing I was in orange.

"That means we can play a co-op game" I also said noticing I was also in Azure.

Ok, that felt weird, I felt like I was in both bodies as well as being in neither.

That was how it started, as for what happens next.

I found out that I could revert to my regular self by closing the front and removing the Gashat. This also revealed to me that my Driver had somehow merged with my body, almost like how some of the older Riders previously did. The driver would appear and disappear when I needed it too, My Gashat would also appear and disappear in my hand at my command too.

It had been a week since my transformation. I decided to go to the local game store to buy a new game to play, now that I had a partner or so, I could now play two-player games.

As I entered the mall, I heard various screaming down the plaza. I looked down to see some sort of monster rampaging about. Was it a Kamen Rider villain?, or maybe Power Rangers?. Naw it looked weird regardless of where it came from. I quickly nipped into the toilets, I can transform here without anyone seeing me.

That was how my Crime-fighting career began. A regular gamer and worker and part-time hero.

At first, people thought I was a stuntman or some sort of advertisement. Thankfully the damages that the various monsters caused helped them to see otherwise. The police have tried to arrest me but as they can't stop the monsters, they saw no option but to stay out of the fight and keep the civilians safe.

Many people asked if I was Ex-Aid himself. They noticed that my voice didn't match his. I explained that I was a friend of his, a small lie but I couldn't tell them who I was. Since then, I've gone by the name Mighty Brothers Two, or just Mighty Brothers. I've even named my two halves as Orange and Azure whenever we split.

At this point, I thought I've seen just about everything that was weird and unusual. But that a story for another Chapter.

Author's Note

Yeah I know the series that Ex-aid has them summoning game areas and weapons.
But in this version I've made it so that doesn't happen to keep it from being too similar to it's actual series.

Oh and before anyone asks, Up until the final chapter, I've done pretty much all of this in one day.
The final form did take me a while due to how I wanted it to happen, to try and make it my own version.
